Abstract
BackgroundRheumatoid arthritis (RA) is a chronic autoimmune disease that leads to joint damage, systemic inflammation and early mortality. Though the precise molecular mechanism in the triggering immune response are not fully understood, the emergence of antibodies against self-antigens can serve as diagnostic biomarker. Multiple antigens have been confirmed. However, the profiling of serum antigen, antigenome, remains poorly known.ObjectivesThe study aimed to investigate the serum antigenomic profiling and determine potential diagnostic biomarkers using label-free proteomic technology implemented with machine-learning algorithm.MethodsWe captured serum antigens from a cohort consisting of 60 RA patients (45 ACPA-positive RA patients and 15 ACPA-negative RA patients), sex- and age-matched 30 osteoarthritis patients and 30 healthy controls. Liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS) was performed. We then trained a machine learning model to classify RA, ACPA-positive RA and ACPA-negative RA based on proteomic data and validated in the cohort.ResultsWe identified 62, 71 and 49 differentially expressed proteins (DEPs) in RA, ACPA-positive RA and ACPA-negative RA respectively, compared to OA and healthy controls. Among these DEPs, the pathway enrichment analysis and protein-protein interactions networks were conducted. Three panels were constructed to classify RA, ACPA-positive RA and ACPA-negative RA using random forest models algorithm based on the molecular signature of DEPs, whose area under curve (AUC) were calculated as 0.9949 (95% CI = 0.9792-1), 0.9913 (95%CI = 0.9653-1) and 1.0 (95% CI = 1-1).ConclusionThis study presented serum antigen profiling of RA. Among them, three panels of antigens were identified to classify RA, ACPA-positive and ACPA-negative RA patients as diagnostic biomarkers.References[1]Smolen JS, Aletaha D, McInnes IB. Abstract
Laparoscopic techniques are more and more poplular in proximal gastrectomy. The traditional esophagogastric anastomosis may lead to severe reflux esophagitis after surgery, affecting patient's quality of life. In recent years, multiple methods of digestive tract reconstruction after laparoscopic proximal gastrectomy capable of resisting reflux have been applied to the clinic. Combining the results of the latest clinical studies and our clinical experience, we elaborate the views on digestive tract reconstruction after laparoscopic proximal gastrectomy. Esophagogastric anastomosis (posterior esophagogastric anastomosis, anterior esophagogastric anastomosis, gastric tube reconstruction, lateral esophagogastric anastomosis, Kamikawa anastomosis and modified Kamikawa anastomosis, etc.) and esophagojejunal anastomosis (interposition jejunum, interposition jejunum with pouch, and double-channel anastomosis, etc.) are mainly discussed. Of course, the anti-reflux mechanisms of different surgical procedures are not the same, the anti-reflux effects are variable, and the surgical difficulties under laparoscopy are also different. Therefore, how to choose a rational reconstruction method after proximal gastrectomy needs to be comprehensively considered based on patient's own situation and technical level of the surgeons.

Abstract
Tests of lepton universality in B^{0}→K_{S}^{0}ℓ^{+}ℓ^{-} and B^{+}→K^{*+}ℓ^{+}ℓ^{-} decays where ℓ is either an electron or a muon are presented. The differential branching fractions of B^{0}→K_{S}^{0}e^{+}e^{-} and B^{+}→K^{*+}e^{+}e^{-} decays are measured in intervals of the dilepton invariant mass squared. The measurements are performed using proton-proton collision data recorded by the LHCb experiment, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 9 fb^{-1} . The results are consistent with the standard model and previous tests of lepton universality in related decay modes. The first observation of B^{0}→K_{S}^{0}e^{+}e^{-} and B^{+}→K^{*+}e^{+}e^{-} decays is reported.

Observation of the Decay Λ_{b}^{0}→Λ_{c}^{+}τ^{-}ν[over ¯]_{τ}. PHYSICAL REVIEW LETTERS 2022; 128:191803. Abstract
The first observation of the semileptonic b-baryon decay Λ_{b}^{0}→Λ_{c}^{+}τ^{-}ν[over ¯]_{τ}, with a significance of 6.1σ, is reported using a data sample corresponding to 3 fb^{-1} of integrated luminosity, collected by the LHCb experiment at center-of-mass energies of 7 and 8 TeV at the LHC. The τ^{-} lepton is reconstructed in the hadronic decay to three charged pions. The ratio K=B(Λ_{b}^{0}→Λ_{c}^{+}τ^{-}ν[over ¯]_{τ})/B(Λ_{b}^{0}→Λ_{c}^{+}π^{-}π^{+}π^{-}) is measured to be 2.46±0.27±0.40, where the first uncertainty is statistical and the second systematic. The branching fraction B(Λ_{b}^{0}→Λ_{c}^{+}τ^{-}ν[over ¯]_{τ})=(1.50±0.16±0.25±0.23)% is obtained, where the third uncertainty is from the external branching fraction of the normalization channel Λ_{b}^{0}→Λ_{c}^{+}π^{-}π^{+}π^{-}. The ratio of semileptonic branching fractions R(Λ_{c}^{+})≡B(Λ_{b}^{0}→Λ_{c}^{+}τ^{-}ν[over ¯]_{τ})/B(Λ_{b}^{0}→Λ_{c}^{+}μ^{-}ν[over ¯]_{μ}) is derived to be 0.242±0.026±0.040±0.059, where the external branching fraction uncertainty from the channel Λ_{b}^{0}→Λ_{c}^{+}μ^{-}ν[over ¯]_{μ} contributes to the last term. This result is in agreement with the standard model prediction.

Autophagy-Sirtuin1(SIRT1) Alleviated the Coronary Atherosclerosis (AS)in Mice through Regulating the Proliferation and Migration of Endothelial Progenitor Cells (EPCs) via wnt/β-catenin/GSK3β Signaling Pathway. J Nutr Health Aging 2022; 26:297-306. [PMID: 35297474 DOI: 10.1007/s12603-022-1750-7] [Citation(s) in RCA: 1] [Impact Index Per Article: 0.5] [Reference Citation Analysis] [Abstract] [Key Words] [MESH Headings] [Track Full Text] [Journal Information] [Subscribe] [Scholar Register] [Indexed: 10/19/2022]
Abstract
BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE SIRT1 was associated with AS risk and EPCs were reported to participate in the endothelial repair in Coronary Atherosclerosis (CAS). In this study, we explored the role of SIRT1 in AS mice and also its modulation in EPCs. METHODS AND MATERIALS ApoE-/-mice were fed on high-fat and high-glucose diet to establish the AS animal model with the normally-raised C57BL/6 mice as a control group. SIRT1 activator, SRT 2104 was injected intravenously into 5 ApoE-/-mice and its inhibitor Nicotinamide was injected in tail in another 5 ApoE-/-mice. Weight changes were recorded. Blood samples were taken from posterior orbital venous plexus and were detected by automatic biochemical analyzer. HE staining displayed the pathological conditions while Immunohistochemistry (IHC) evaluated the CD34+/VEGFR2+ relative density in the aorta tissues. EPCs were isolated from bone marrow and verified using immunofluorescence staining (IFS). The modulatory mechanism of SIRT1 in EPCs were studied by using RT-PCR, MTT, Western Blot and colony formation, scratch methods. RESULTS SIRT1 activator negatively regulated the weight and TC, TG and LDL levels, alleviated the lesion conditions and decreased the CD34+/VEGFR2+ density compared to the AS control. In vitro, SIRT1 activator promoted the proliferation and migration of EPCs and activated wnt/β-catenin/GSK3β signaling pathway. SIRT1 activator also inhibited the autophagy biomarkers ATG1 and LC3II. Furthermore, inhibitor of autophagy promoted SIRT1 expression and induced EPC proliferation, migration and activated wnt/β-catenin/GSK3β pathway. The suppression of the wnt/β-catenin/GSK3β pathway inhibited SIRT1 expression in EPCs, attenuated the proliferation and migration and promoted autophagy of EPCs. CONCLUSION SIRT1 activation might be protective in AS mice through autophagy inhibition in EPCs via wnt/β-catenin/GSK3β signaling pathway.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE To investigate the safety and efficacy of visualized ultra-mini percutaneous nephrolithotripsy (VUMP) and flexible ureterorenoscopy (FURS) in the treatment of nephrolithiasis patients with 1.5-2.5 cm kidney stones and without hydronephrosis. PATIENTS AND METHODS The clinical data of 143 nephrolithiasis patients without hydronephrosis (from April 2017 to March 2021) were collected and analyzed, including 65 cases in the VUMP group and 78 cases in the FURS group. The general clinical data, operation time, hospitalization time, recent stone-free rate (RSFR), long-term stone free rate (four weeks after operation, LSFR), Visual Analogue Scale (VAS), Bruggermann comfort score (BCS), and surgical complications of the two groups were collected and analyzed. RESULTS In the VUMP group, the operation time (49.14 ± 9.28 vs. 60.23 ± 9.45, p < 0.001), postoperative white blood cell count (11.05 ± 2.43 vs. 13.57 ± 2.71, p < 0.05) and BCS score (1.72 ± 0.80 vs. 2.81 ± 0.85, p < 0.001) were significantly lower than those of the FURS group, but the postoperative hemoglobin (8.25 ± 5.04 vs. 4.05 ± 3.07, p < 0.05), hospital stay (5.72 ± 1.75 vs. 3.12 ± 1.09, p < 0.001) and VAS score (3.18 ± 1.36 vs. 2.08 ± 1.28, p < 0.001) were significantly higher than those of the FURS group. Besides, the VUMP group was significantly higher than the FURS group in RSFR (90.32% vs. 72.22%, p < 0.05) and LSFR (95.38% vs. 85.89%, p < 0.05). The systemic inflammatory response syndrome rate (3.07% vs. 14.10%, p = 0.037) and total complications (9.23% vs. 20.51%, p = 0.032) were significantly lower in the VUMP group than in the FURS group. CONCLUSIONS Both VUMP and FURS are safe and effective in the treatment of nephrolithiasis patients with 1.5-2.5 cm kidney stones and without hydronephrosis, and the former is preferable for higher SFR, shorter operation time and lower complication rate.

Observation of Two New Excited Ξ_{b}^{0} States Decaying to Λ_{b}^{0}K^{-}π^{+}. PHYSICAL REVIEW LETTERS 2022; 128:162001. Abstract
Two narrow resonant states are observed in the Λ_{b}^{0}K^{-}π^{+} mass spectrum using a data sample of proton-proton collisions at a center-of-mass energy of 13 TeV, collected by the LHCb experiment and corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 6 fb^{-1}. The minimal quark content of the Λ_{b}^{0}K^{-}π^{+} system indicates that these are excited Ξ_{b}^{0} baryons. The masses of the Ξ_{b}(6327)^{0} and Ξ_{b}(6333)^{0} states are m[Ξ_{b}(6327)^{0}]=6327.28_{-0.21}^{+0.23}±0.12±0.24 and m[Ξ_{b}(6333)^{0}]=6332.69_{-0.18}^{+0.17}±0.03±0.22 MeV, respectively, with a mass splitting of Δm=5.41_{-0.27}^{+0.26}±0.12 MeV, where the uncertainties are statistical, systematic, and due to the Λ_{b}^{0} mass measurement. The measured natural widths of these states are consistent with zero, with upper limits of Γ[Ξ_{b}(6327)^{0}]<2.20(2.56) and Γ[Ξ_{b}(6333)^{0}]<1.60(1.92) MeV at a 90% (95%) credibility level. The significance of the two-peak hypothesis is larger than nine (five) Gaussian standard deviations compared to the no-peak (one-peak) hypothesis. The masses, widths, and resonant structure of the new states are in good agreement with the expectations for a doublet of 1D Ξ_{b}^{0} resonances.

Abstract
Objective: To investigate the clinical effects of free transplantation of expanded ilioinguinal flaps in the reconstruction of severe scar contracture after extensive burns. Methods: A retrospective observational study was conducted. From August 2017 to October 2021, 7 patients with severe scar contracture deformity caused by extensive burns were hospitalized in Tongren Hospital of Wuhan University & Wuhan Third Hospital, including 5 males and 2 females, aged 26-65 years, with scar area of 20 cm×4 cm-34 cm×14 cm. In the first stage, the rectangular skin and soft tissue expander (hereinafter referred to as the expander) with rated capacity of 500-600 mL were embedded above the inguinal ligament, and then normal saline was injected after stitch removal for expansion to meet the needs of repair surgery. In the second stage, the scar was removed by surgical excision to correct the deformity and release the adhesion and contracture; after the removal of the expanders, the expanded ilioinguinal free flaps were harvested. When a larger flap was needed, the paraumbilical perforator flap was harvested at the same time, and the flaps were transplanted to the secondary wound after scar resection. The number of embedded expanders, the total amount of injected normal saline, the expansion time, the complications of skin and soft tissue expansion, the number, area, thickness, and anastomotic vascular pedicles of the expanded ilioinguinal flaps being resected, the type of flaps used, the repair method of flap donor sites, and the survival of flaps after operation were observed and recorded. The long-term repair effect and donor site condition were followed up. At the last follow-up, the patients' satisfaction with the curative effect of each surgical site was investigated according to the grade 5 score of Likert scale. Results: A total of 10 expanders were embedded in 7 patients, of which 4 patients had 1 each and 3 patients had 2 each. The total volume of normal saline injected was 800-1 800 (1 342±385) mL, and the expansion time was 4-24 (11±5) months. One patient had the expander exposed due to infection after the expander being inserted, while the other patients had no complications of skin and soft tissue expansion. Totally 10 expanded ilioinguinal flaps with the area of 22 cm×6 cm-36 cm×16 cm ((326±132) cm2) and the thickness of 0.6-1.1 (0.77±0.16) cm were harvested. Among the 10 expanded ilioinguinal flaps, 5 were pedicled with the superficial circumflex iliac artery, 3 with the superficial abdominal artery with relatively large caliber, 1 with the common trunk of the superficial circumflex iliac artery and the superficial abdominal artery, and 1 flap was anastomosed with the superficial circumflex iliac artery and bridged the superficial abdominal artery for intra-arterial supercharge. Unilateral expanded ilioinguinal flap combined with ipsilateral paraumbilical perforator flap were harvested in 4 cases, bilateral expanded ilioinguinal flaps were harvested in 1 case, and unilateral expanded ilioinguinal flap was harvested in 2 cases. Except for 1 case being transplanted with autologous split-thickness scalp to repair the flap donor site after combined resection of bilateral expanded ilioinguinal flaps, the donor sites of the other patients were sutured directly. All the flaps survived after operation without tip necrosis or wound residue. Follow-up for 3-30 (15±10) months showed that the flap was soft and not bloated, the function and appearance of the recipient area were significantly improved compared with those before operation, and the appearance of the donor sites was good. At the last follow-up, the patients' satisfaction with the treatment effect of the surgical site scored 4-5 (4.5±0.4). Conclusions: The expanded ilioinguinal flap can be obtained in a large area. It has the advantages of rich blood supply, less damage to the donor site, concealed location, and being convenient to be resected and transplanted in combination with the paraumbilical perforator flap. It is suitable for the clinical reconstruction and treatment of severe scar contracture deformity after extensive burns.

Abstract
The production of prompt charged particles in proton-lead collisions and in proton-proton collisions at the nucleon-nucleon center-of-mass energy sqrt[s_{NN}]=5 TeV is studied at LHCb as a function of pseudorapidity (η) and transverse momentum (p_{T}) with respect to the proton beam direction. The nuclear modification factor for charged particles is determined as a function of η between -4.8<η<-2.5 (backward region) and 2.0<η<4.8 (forward region), and p_{T} between 0.2<p_{T}<8.0 GeV/c. The results show a suppression of charged particle production in proton-lead collisions relative to proton-proton collisions in the forward region and an enhancement in the backward region for p_{T} larger than 1.5 GeV/c. This measurement constrains nuclear PDFs and saturation models at previously unexplored values of the parton momentum fraction down to 10^{-6}.

Abstract
Objective: To analyze the effects of spvD gene on invasion and intracellular proliferation of Caco-2 cells and in order to provide insight into the function of that gene and the underlying mechanism of Salmonella caused infection. Methods: Functional verification of spvD gene deletion mutant and compensation strain. The deletion mutant strain was constructed through a suicide plasmid-mediated homologous recombination. The compensation plasmid constructed by cloning the coding sequence of spvD by PCR into plasmid pBAD33 was mobilized into the deletion mutant by conjugation and the pBAD33 was introduced into wild strains and deleted mutant strains as control. The relative expression of spvD mRNA was detected by quantitative reverse transcription PCR. In order to analyze the virulence of spvD against Caco-2 cells, Caco-2 cells was cocultured with wild type Salmonella enteritidis carrying spvD gene, the deletion mutant strain and compensation strain respectively. The expression level of spvD mRNA and the the number of Salmonella enteritidis after Caco-2 cells intervention were compared between the three groups by LSD-t test, and the invasion rate was compared by χ2 test. Results: The expression level of spvD mRNA in wild type Salmonella enteritidis was set as unit "1", the deletion mutant strain was "0.00", and the compensation strain was "2.60" (LSD-twild, deleted=1.11, P=0.31; LSD-twild, compensation=-1.77, P=0.13; LSD-t deleted, compensation=-2.88, P=0.03), which confirmed the successful construction of the deletion mutant strain and the compensation strain. The invasion experiment results of the above three Salmonella enteritidis strains on Caco-2 cells showed that the invasion rate of wild strain was 0.23%, the invasion rate of deleted mutant strain was 0.16%, and the invasion rate of compensation strain was 0.16%, with no statistical significance (χ2=1.13, P=0.570). By comparing the number of Salmonella enteritidis at different time points after Caco-2 cells intervention, it was discovered that the number of Salmonella enteritidis in wild strains (6.50×106 CFU/ml) and compensation strains (7.25×106 CFU/ml) was significantly increased than that in deletion mutant strain (1.90×106 CFU/ml) after 16 h coculture (LSD-twild, deleted=7.95, P=0.00; LSD-twild, compensation=-1.27, P=0.25; LSD-t deleted, compensation=-9.22, P=0.00). Conclusion: It is not considered that spvD gene can affect the invasion of Salmonella enteritidis on Caco-2 cells, but the gene can promote the reproduction of Salmonella enteritidis in Caco-2 cells.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Circular RNAs (circRNAs) have been identified as vital players in tumors, including papillary thyroid carcinoma (PTC). The purpose of this study is to explore the functions of circ_0059354 on PTC development. METHODS Quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction (qRT-PCR) was conducted to examine the levels of circ_0059354, microRNA-766-3p (miR-766-3p) and ADP ribosylation factor guanine nucleotide exchange factor 1 (ARFGEF1). Cell Counting Kit-8 (CCK-8) assay and colony formation assay were proceeded for cell proliferation ability. Transwell assay was conducted for cell migration and invasion. Tube formation assay was employed to examine the angiogenesis ability. Flow cytometry analysis was adopted for cell apoptosis. Western blot assay was conducted for protein levels. Dual-luciferase reporter assay and RNA immunoprecipitation (RIP) assay were utilized to verify the relationships among circ_0059354, miR-766-3p and ARFGEF1. The murine xenograft model was constructed to analyze the function of circ_0059354 in vivo. RESULTS Circ_0059354 level was abnormally increased in PTC tissues and cells. Functionally, circ_0059354 silencing suppressed cell proliferation, migration, invasion and angiogenesis and facilitated apoptosis in PTC cells. Circ_0059354 was identified to sponge miR-766-3p, which directly targeted ARFGEF1. Moreover, circ_0059354 directly targeted miR-766-3p to positively regulated ARFGEF1 expression. MiR-766-3p inhibition reversed circ_0059354 knockdown-mediated effect of PTC cell malignant behaviors. Overexpression of miR-766-3p restrained the malignant behaviors of PTC cells, whereas ARFGEF1 elevation reversed the effects. Additionally, circ_0059354 deficiency blocked tumor growth in vivo. CONCLUSION Circ_0059354 served as an oncogene in PTC progression through regulating miR-766-3p/ARFGEF1 axis.

Abstract
This study aims to investigate the effect of resveratrol on intrahepatic cholestasis of pregnancy (ICP) and its effect on the gut microbiome profiles, thus contributing to the potential therapeutic strategies for ICP. ICP rat models were established by injecting 17α-ethinylestradiol (EE) subcutaneously from the thirteenth day of gestation for four days and then treated with EE (D group, n=5), resveratrol (R group, n=5), or ursodeoxycholic acid (UDCA; U group, n=5) from the seventeenth to the twentieth day of gestation. Fecal samples were analyzed with 16S ribosomal RNA (rRNA) sequencing. In results: the gut microbiota of pregnant rats was characterized with reduced alpha diversity (Chao1 index), and significant variation in the microbiota structure (ANOSIM) was also observed after being treated with EE. The richness of four phyla and ten genera was upregulated, and five phyla and ten genera were downregulated by EE treatment. The dysbiosis of Bilophila, Ruminococcus, and Actinobacteria caused by EE treatment was reversed by resveratrol administration. There was a correlation between total bile acid and alanine aminotransferase in ICP rats. The Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes (KEGG) analysis results suggested that the secondary bile acid biosynthesis was decreased, and the alanine, aspartate, and glutamate metabolism was increased after being treated with EE in pregnant rats. In conclusion, EE treatment could lead to gut microbiome dysbiosis and bile acid metabolism dysregulation in pregnant rats. Resveratrol could partially rescue gut microbiota dysbiosis and improve the biochemical characteristics caused by EE treatment.

Abstract
Wax esters have been widely used in cosmetics and pharmaceutical products. Oleic acid wax esters can be used to replace spermaceti oil or jojoba oil. In this work, the acidic deep eutectic solvent (DES) composed of choline chloride and p-toluenesulfonic acid (1:4, mol/mol) was used as an efficient recyclable catalyst for the synthesis of oleic acid-based liquid wax esters through an esterification reaction. The esterification conversion of cetyl alcohol reached 99.1% under the following optimal reaction conditions: 5% DES as catalyst, molar ratio of fatty acid to alcohol of 1.3:1 and reaction temperature of 70 oC for 3h. The catalyst recovery experiments showed that this low-price acidic DES catalyst could be reused five times with uniform activity. Moreover, DES-catalyzed solvent-free esterification could be applied in the preparation of other oleic acid-based wax esters and excellent conversions (> 96%) could be obtained under such mild conditions.

Abstract
Background No validated biomarkers currently exist for predicting the efficacy outcomes in patients with neuroendocrine tumors (NETs) treated with antiangiogenic therapy. We aimed to evaluate the association between treatment-related adverse events (TRAEs) and efficacy outcomes of surufatinib in patients with advanced NET. Patients and methods We included patients with NET treated with surufatinib in two multicenter, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, phase III trials (SANET-p and SANET-ep) in this study. The main exposure was the presence of any of the TRAEs including hypertension, proteinuria, and hemorrhage in the first 4 weeks of surufatinib treatment. The primary outcome of the study was investigator-assessed progression-free survival (PFS). PFS outcomes were estimated using the Kaplan–Meier method with the log-rank test. Hazard ratios (HRs) were calculated by using univariable and multivariable Cox proportional hazard regression models. Blinded independent image review committee (BIIRC) assessments and 4-week landmark analysis were also performed as supportive evaluations. Results During the study period, a total of 242 patients treated with surufatinib were included in the analysis, and 164 (68%) patients had at least one of hypertension, proteinuria, and hemorrhage in the first 4 weeks of treatment. The presence of TRAEs in the first 4 weeks was associated with prolonged median PFS [11.1 versus 9.2 months; HR 0.67, 95% confidence interval (CI) 0.47-0.97; P = 0.036]. In multivariable Cox regression analysis, the presence of TRAEs was also significantly associated with longer PFS (HR 0.65, 95% CI 0.44-0.97; P = 0.035). Similar results were obtained in the BIIRC assessments and 4-week landmark analysis. Conclusions Treatment-related hypertension, proteinuria, and hemorrhage could be potential biomarkers to predict antitumor efficacy of surufatinib in patients with advanced NET. Future prospective studies are needed to validate the findings. Trial registration ClinicalTrials.govNCT02589821; https://clinicaltrials.gov/ct2/show/NCT02589821 and ClinicalTrials.gov NCT02588170; https://clinicaltrials.gov/ct2/show/NCT02588170 Treatment-related hypertension, proteinuria, or hemorrhage is associated with longer survival in NETs. The association is confirmed by the BIIRC assessments and 4-week landmark analysis. TRAEs can be biomarkers to predict antitumor efficacy in patients with NET.

Abstract
Objective: To explore the prognostic factors of epithelial ovarian carcinoma (EOC), construct a nomogram model, and evaluate the prognosis of EOC patients. Methods: A retrospective analysis was performed on clinicopathological data of 208 cases of EOC patients who received initial treatment in the First Affiliated Hospital of Army Medical University from August 11, 2016 to July 11, 2018, including age, preoperative ascites, preoperative neoadjuvant chemotherapy, surgical method, pathological type, pathological differentiation degree, surgical pathology stage, preoperative and post-chemotherapy serum cancer antigen 125 (CA125) level, human epididymal protein 4 (HE4) level, platelet count and platelet/lymphocyte number ratio (PLR). The univariate and multivariate Cox risk ratio models were used to analyze the related factors affecting progression free survival (PFS) in EOC patients, and the prediction nomogram of PFS in EOC patients was established to evaluate its efficacy in predicting PFS. Results: Univariate analysis showed that preoperative neoadjuvant chemotherapy, pathological type, pathological differentiation degree, surgical pathology stage, serum CA125 and HE4 level before operation and after chemotherapy, platelet count and PLR before operation and after chemotherapy were significantly correlated with PFS in EOC patients (all P<0.05). Multivariate analysis showed that surgical pathology stage, preoperative PLR, serum CA125 and HE4 level after chemotherapy were independent prognostic factors affecting PFS of EOC patients (all P<0.01). The index coefficient of the prediction model for the prognosis of EOC patients established by this method was 0.749 (95% CI: 0.699-0.798), which had good prediction ability, and could help clinicians to more accurately evaluate the prognosis of EOC patients. Conclusion: The nomogram model constructed based on surgical pathology stage, preoperative PLR, serum CA125 and HE4 level after chemotherapy could effectively predict the PFS of EOC patients after initial treatment, could help clinicians to screen high-risk patients, provide individualized treatment, and improve the prognosis of EOC patients.

Abstract
BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE Percutaneous thermal ablation followed by vertebral augmentation is an emerging minimally invasive therapeutic alternative for the management of spinal metastases. This study aimed to retrospectively evaluate the effectiveness and safety of microwave ablation combined with vertebral augmentation for the treatment of painful vertebral metastases. MATERIALS AND METHODS Overall, 91 patients with 140 metastatic vertebrae who experienced refractory moderate-to-severe pain were treated with CT-guided microwave ablation and vertebral augmentation. Procedural effectiveness was determined using the visual analog scale, daily morphine consumption, and the Oswestry Disability Index preprocedurally and during follow-up. Local tumor control was assessed at follow-up imaging. RESULTS The procedure was technically successful in all patients. The median visual analog scale score and mean morphine dose were 6 (range, 4-10) and 77.8 (SD, 31.5) mg (range, 15-143 mg), preprocedurally; 5 (range 3-8) and 34.5 (SD, 23.8) mg (range, 0-88 mg) at 3 days; 4 (range, 2-7) and 28.7 (SD, 16.4) mg (range, 0-73 mg) at 1 week; 3 (range, 1-6) and 24.6 (SD, 13.2) mg (range, 0-70 mg) at 1 month; 3 (range, 1-6) and 21.70 (SD, 10.0) mg (range, 0-42 mg) at 3 months; and 3 (range, 1-8) and 21.0 (SD, 9.9) mg (range, 0-46 mg) at 6 months postprocedurally (all P < .05). A decrease in the Oswestry Disability Index score was also observed (P < .01). Local control was achieved in 94.8% of the treated metastatic vertebrae during the 6-month follow-up period. Asymptomatic cement leakage occurred in 42 (30%) treated vertebrae. A grade 3 neural injury was observed in 1 patient (1.1%). The patient's neurologic function returned to normal following treatment with mannitol, glucocorticoids, and radiation therapy. CONCLUSIONS This study demonstrates that percutaneous CT-guided microwave ablation combined with vertebral augmentation is a safe and effective minimally invasive intervention for the treatment of painful spinal metastases.

Abstract
BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE Long-range connections are more severely damaged and relevant for cognition in long-standing MS. However, the evolution of such coordinated network damage in patients with MS is unclear. We investigated whether short- and long-range structural connections sustained equal damage in early-stage MS. MATERIALS AND METHODS Sixteen patients with early-stage MS and 17 healthy controls were scanned by high-resolution, multishell diffusion imaging on 7T MR imaging and assessed cognitively. We investigated macrostructural properties in short- and long-range fibers and of microstructural metrics derived from 2 quantitative diffusion MR imaging models: DTI and neurite orientation dispersion and density imaging. RESULTS Patients had significant WM integrity damage-that is, higher radial diffusivity and a lower intracellular volume fraction in the focal WM lesions. Compared with the healthy controls, the patients had noticeable microstructure changes in both short- and long-range fibers, including increased radial diffusivity, mean diffusivity, and axial diffusivity. Z scores further indicated greater damage in the short-range fibers than in the long-range fibers. CONCLUSIONS Our findings demonstrate that more severe demyelination preceding axonal degeneration occurs in short-range connections but not in long-range connections in early-stage MS, suggesting the possibility that there are cortical lesions that are undetectable by current MR imaging.

Abstract
Aim
Non-melanoma skin cancers (NMSC) are the most common malignancies worldwide, with basal cell carcinomas (BCCs) and squamous cell carcinomas (SCCs) constituting an ever-growing clinical burden within Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery. In this 3-cycle Quality Improvement (QI) initiative we sought to evaluate and improve our unit’s compliance with British Association of Dermatology (BAD) guidance on excision margins for NMSCs.
Method
Following results from two Plan-Do-Study-Act (PDSA) cycles, a third retrospective review of clinic letters, operative notes and histopathology reports was undertaken to identify NMSCs that were excised during May 2021 and assess compliance with recommended excision margins according to risk stratification.
Results
The dissemination of cycle 1 findings at departmental meetings, as well as the implementation of guideline posters and operative note templates conferred a significant improvement in both clinical documentation (12% to 100%) and local compliance with excision margin guidelines for BCCs (53% to 71%) and SCCs (50% to 79%). Following the adoption of new BAD guidelines on SSC margins in early 2021, a third cycle comprising 42 lesions demonstrated a sustained improvement in clinical documentation (100%) after a 7-month period and similar guideline compliance rates for both BCC (67%) and SCC (78%).
Conclusions
Adequate excision margins in cutaneous malignant pathology are vital to ensure complete removal, thus minimising the risk of recurrence. Although improvement across the PDSA cycles has been sustained despite the introduction of new SCC margin guidelines, we aim to introduce further interventions such as a knowledge and practice survey to continue improving excision margin compliance.

Abstract
Abstract
In the use of corn raw materials to produce glycol (corn-EG) and 1,2-propanediol (PDO), the output of PDO is more than that of corn-EG and the latter also contains some PDO. In order to produce high-performance polyester fibers by low-cost corn-EG instead of petroleum-EG, the paper initially seeks for the highest percentage of PDO that can be added in the conventional copolymerization of corn-EG/PDO/nano-SiO2 and terephthalic acid (PTA). The experiment shows that as the content of PDO in copolyester exceeds 12 %, the POY breaking strength quickly decreases. The DTY of copolyester fiber with 12% PDO and 0.1% nano-SiO2 can be dyed in the condition of atmospheric pressure and boiling water.

Abstract
Events containing a Z boson and a charm jet are studied for the first time in the forward region of proton-proton collisions. The data sample used corresponds to an integrated luminosity of 6 fb^{-1} collected at a center-of-mass energy of 13 TeV with the LHCb detector. In events with a Z boson and a jet, the fraction of charm jets is determined in intervals of Z-boson rapidity in the range 2.0<y(Z)<4.5. A sizable enhancement is observed in the forwardmost y(Z) interval, which could be indicative of a valencelike intrinsic-charm component in the proton wave function.

Abstract
An amplitude analysis of flavor-untagged B_{s}^{0}→J/ψpp[over ¯] decays is performed using a sample of 797±31 decays reconstructed with the LHCb detector. The data, collected in proton-proton collisions between 2011 and 2018, correspond to an integrated luminosity of 9 fb^{-1}. Evidence for a new structure in the J/ψp and J/ψp[over ¯] systems with a mass of 4337_{-4}^{+7} _{-2}^{+2} MeV and a width of 29_{-12}^{+26} _{-14}^{+14} MeV is found, where the first uncertainty is statistical and the second systematic, with a significance in the range of 3.1 to 3.7σ, depending on the assigned J^{P} hypothesis.

Abstract
Objective: To investigate the association of blood lead and blood selenium with serum high-sensitivity C-reactive protein (hs-CRP) among Chinese adults aged 19 to 79 years. Methods: The participants were enrolled from the first wave of China National Human Biomonitoring (CNHBM) conducted from 2017 to 2018. 10 153 participants aged 19 to 79 years were included in this study. Fasting blood samples were obtained from participants. Lead and selenium in whole blood and hs-CRP in serum were measured. Individuals with hs-CRP levels above 3.0 mg/L were defined as elevated hs-CRP. Generalized linear mixed models and restricted cubic spline models were used to analyze the association of blood lead and blood selenium with elevated hs-CRP. Logistic regression models were used to analyze the multiplicative scale and additive scale interaction between blood lead and blood selenium on elevated hs-CRP. Results: The age of participants was (48.91±15.38) years, of which 5 054 (61.47%) were male. 1 181 (11.29%) participants were defined as elevated hs-CRP. After multivariable adjustment, results from generalized linear models showed that compared with participants with the lowest quartile of blood lead, the OR (95%CI) of elevated hs-CRP for participants with the second, third, and highest quartiles were 1.14 (0.94-1.37), 1.25 (1.04-1.52) and 1.38 (1.13-1.68), respectively. When compared with participants with the lowest quartile of blood selenium, the OR (95%CI) of elevated hs-CRP for participants with the second, third and highest quartiles were 0.86 (0.72-1.04), 0.91 (0.76-1.11), and 0.75 (0.61-0.92), respectively. Results from the interaction analysis showed no significant interaction between lead and selenium on elevated hs-CRP. Conclusion: Blood concentration of lead was positively associated with elevated serum hs-CRP, and blood concentration of selenium was inversely related to elevated hs-CRP, while blood lead and selenium did not present interaction on elevated hs-CRP.

Abstract
Objective: To investigate the predictive value of postoperative urine protein level in critically ill patients undergoing non-cardiac surgery with acute kidney injury (AKI). Methods: A total of 661 critically ill patients undergoing non-cardiac surgery, who visited the Department of Critical Care Medicine of Peking University First Hospital from May 20, 2019 to November 24, 2020, were enrolled in this prospective study. The clinical data of the patient's age, gender, body mass index, laboratory examination, surgical status, etc. were collected. AKI diagnostic criteria of the 2012 KDIGO guidelines were used to diagnose the occurrence of AKI after surgery. The independent predictors of AKI were determined by multivariate logistic regression. Results: The age of this patient cohort was (69±15) years. The prevalence of AKI was 45.4% (300/661). Multivariate logistic regression showed that urine protein semi-quantitative ≥2+(OR=2.62, 95%CI: 1.05-6.56, P=0.039) was independent factor for postoperative AKI in critically ill patients undergoing non-cardiac surgery, other independent factors include higher age (OR=1.04, 95%CI: 1.02-1.06, P=0.001), higher body mass index (BMI) (OR=1.12, 95%CI: 1.04-1.21, P=0.004), lower plasma hemoglobin level (OR=0.98, 95%CI: 0.97-1.00, P=0.019), lower central venous pressure (OR=0.89, 95%CI: 0.83-0.97, P=0.005) and lower total hypotension time (OR=1.01, 95%CI: 1.00-1.01, P=0.041). Conclusions: Urine protein semi-quantitative ≥2+after surgery is an independent predictive factor for the occurrence of postoperative AKI in critically ill patients undergoing non-cardiac surgery. It is important to check urine routine immediately after surgery to detect and deal with high-risk patients.

Abstract
The cortical cytoskeleton, consisting of the cytoplasmic actin isoforms β and/or γ-actin, has been implicated in insulin-stimulated GLUT4 translocation and glucose uptake in muscle and adipose cell culture. Furthermore, transgenic inhibition of multiple actin-regulating proteins in muscle inhibits insulin-stimulated muscle glucose uptake. The current study tested if γ-actin was required for insulin-stimulated glucose uptake in mouse skeletal muscle. Based on our previously reported age-dependent phenotype in muscle-specific β-actin gene deletion (-/- ) mice, we included cohorts of growing 8-14 weeks old and mature 18-32 weeks old muscle-specific γ-actin-/- mice or wild-type littermates. In growing mice, insulin significantly increased the glucose uptake in slow-twitch oxidative soleus and fast-twitch glycolytic EDL muscles from wild-type mice, but not γ-actin-/- . In relative values, the maximal insulin-stimulated glucose uptake was reduced by ~50% in soleus and by ~70% in EDL muscles from growing γ-actin-/- mice compared to growing wild-type mice. In contrast, the insulin-stimulated glucose uptake responses in mature adult γ-actin-/- soleus and EDL muscles were indistinguishable from the responses in wild-type muscles. Mature adult insulin-stimulated phosphorylations on Akt, p70S6K, and ULK1 were not significantly affected by genotype. Hence, insulin-stimulated muscle glucose uptake shows an age-dependent impairment in young growing but not in fully grown γ-actin-/- mice, bearing phenotypic resemblance to β-actin-/- mice. Overall, γ-actin does not appear required for insulin-stimulated muscle glucose uptake in adulthood. Furthermore, our data emphasize the need to consider the rapid growth of young mice as a potential confounder in transgenic mouse phenotyping studies.

Abstract
Branching fraction and effective lifetime measurements of the rare decay B_{s}^{0}→μ^{+}μ^{-} and searches for the decays B^{0}→μ^{+}μ^{-} and B_{s}^{0}→μ^{+}μ^{-}γ are reported using proton-proton collision data collected with the LHCb detector at center-of-mass energies of 7, 8, and 13 TeV, corresponding to a luminosity of 9 fb^{-1}. The branching fraction B(B_{s}^{0}→μ^{+}μ^{-})=(3.09_{-0.43-0.11}^{+0.46+0.15})×10^{-9} and the effective lifetime τ(B_{s}^{0}→μ^{+}μ^{-})=2.07±0.29±0.03 ps are measured, where the first uncertainty is statistical and the second systematic. No significant signal for B^{0}→μ^{+}μ^{-} and B_{s}^{0}→μ^{+}μ^{-}γ decays is found and upper limits B(B^{0}→μ^{+}μ^{-})<2.6×10^{-10} and B(B_{s}^{0}→μ^{+}μ^{-}γ)<2.0×10^{-9} at the 95% C.L. are determined, where the latter is limited to the range m_{μμ}>4.9 GeV/c^{2}. The results are in agreement with the standard model expectations.

Abstract
Objective: To explore the prevalence and risk factors of neck musculoskeletal diseases (MSDs) of welders among an automobile factory. Methods: In June 2019, a cluster random sampling method was used to select 677 electric welders from an automobile manufacturing plant in Shiyan City as the survey objects, and a questionnaire survey was conducted using the "Musculoskeletal Disorders Questionnaire" to analyze the prevalence and influencing factors of neck MSDs, and used logistic regression to analyze the relationship between the influencing factors and the prevalence of cervical MSDs. Results: The prevalence rate of MSDs in neck of welders was 54.8% (371/677) . The exposure rate of occupational factors, from high to low, were neckin a bent formord porsure was 71.6% (486/677) , repetitive head movements was 55.1% (373/677) , working in uncomfortable postures was 48.7% (330/677) and neck twisted was 46.8% (317/677) respectively. Sex, age, educational level, length of service, smoking, neck tilt, neck twist, working in uncomfortable posture and head repetitive movements were the risk factors of neck MSDs (P<0.05) . Multiple logistic regression analysis showed that, the main influencing factors of neck MSDs were sex, education level, age, length of service, smoking, neck tilt, working in uncomfortable posture (OR = 2.11, 2.03, 1.83, 1.21, 1.78, 1.90, 1.58, 95%CI: 1.28~3.48、1.47~2.81、1.33~2.52、1.03~1.41、1.22~2.60、1.28~2.83、1.11~2.27, P<0.05) , rest had protective effect on neck MSDs (OR= 0.38, 95%CI: 0.17~0.88, P<0.05) . Conclusion: Welders in automobile factory was highly exposed to occupational risk factors for neck MSDs. Occupational risk factors such as neck in a bent forward posture, working in an uncomfortable posture, prolonged siting, repetitive head movement should be the focus of intervention.

Abstract
Objective: To investigate the association between urinary arsenic levels and anemia among older adults in nine longevity areas of China. Methods: A total of 1 896 subjects aged 65 years and above who participated in the Healthy Aging and Biomarkers Cohort Study (HABCS) in 2017-2018 were included. A self-made questionnaire was used to collect demographic characteristics, lifestyle and other information from the subjects. Through physical examination, data including height, weight and blood pressure were determined and body mass index (BMI) was calculated. Blood and urine samples were collected for the detection of hemoglobin (Hb), blood glucose, blood lipids, plasma vitamin B12 and urinary arsenic concentrations. The urinary arsenic levels were divided into four groups according to the quartiles of urinary arsenic concentrations (μg/g creatinine): Q1 (<18.7), Q2 (18.7-34.5), Q3 (34.6-69.5) and Q4(≥69.6). Multivariate logistic regression model and restricted cubic spline fitting logistic regression model were used to analyze the association between urinary arsenic levels and anemia. Results: The age of the 1 896 subjects (M (Q1, Q3)) was 83 (74, 92) years, including 952 females (50.21%), and the concentration of Hb (M (Q1, Q3)) was 135 (124, 147)g/L. The prevalence of anemia was 24.89% (472 cases). The geometric mean and M (Q1, Q3) of urinary arsenic concentrations were 37.5 and 34.6 (18.7, 69.6)μg/g creatinine, respectively. Multivariate logistic regression model analysis showed that after adjusting for age, gender, BMI, education level, smoking and drinking status, residence, economic level, ethnicity, the status of vitamin B12 deficiency, consumption frequency of aquatic products and meat, the prevalence of hypertension, diabetes and dyslipidemia, urinary arsenic levels were positively associated with anemia (Taking group Q1 as a reference, OR (95%CI) values in Q2, Q3 and Q4 groups were 1.73 (1.20-2.50), 2.08 (1.43-3.02) and 1.52 (1.02-2.28), respectively). The results of restricted cubic spline fitting logistic regression analysis showed a non-linear association between urinary arsenic concentrations and anemia (P<0.001). Subgroup analysis showed there was a negative multiplicative interaction between the prevalence of chronic diseases and urinary arsenic levels with OR (95%CI) was 0.55 (0.30-0.99), while no multiplicative interaction was found between age, gender, residence, smoking status, drinking status and urinary arsenic levels (P>0.05). There was a positive association between urinary arsenic levels and anemia in participants who were absence of chronic diseases, male, living in rural, smoking and drinking with OR (95%CI) values of 3.62 (1.30-10.06),2.46 (1.34-4.52), 1.70 (1.03-2.80), 2.21 (1.01-4.82) and 2.79 (1.23-6.33), respectively. Conclusion: There is a positive association between urinary arsenic levels and anemia among older adults in nine longevity areas of China.
