Abstract
The present work reported the synthesis of novel benzopyrimido[4,5-d]azoninone analogs using a biosynthesized Ag-TiO2 core/shell magnetic nanocatalyst. Accordingly, three-component one-pot reactions of benzoazonine-dione with thiourea and aryl aldehyde derivatives under nanocatalytic and optimized conditions afforded reasonable to brilliant yields of the target products (57-91%). The nanocatalyst was synthesized by a facile method using turmeric ethanol extract as a reducing and chelating agent. The synthesized nanocatalyst was verified by FT-IR, XRD, zeta potential, EDX, SEM, and TEM. The nanocatalyst presented remarkable catalytic activity for the synthesis of the target products. The procedure provided biosynthesis of the nanocatalyst, accessible reagents, high yields and rates of the reactions, nanocatalyst recyclability, and ease of product isolation and purification. The novel products were characterized by FT-IR, 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR, mass spectra, and 2D NMR analysis (COSY, NOESY, HMQC & HSQC) spectral analyses. The antioxidant activity was assessed by DPPH and phosphomolybdate assays, in which the compounds exhibited excellent potency. Overall, this approach could be used to develop new and sustainable methods for the synthesis of antioxidants and other biologically active molecules.

Abstract
![]()
A transannular approach has been developed for the construction
of pyrrolo[1,2-b]isoquinolinones starting from benzo-fused
nine-membered enelactams. This process takes place in the presence
of a halogenating agent and under Brønsted acid catalysis and
proceeds via a transannular amidohalogenation, followed by elimination.
The reaction has been found to be wide in scope, enabling the formation
of a variety of tricyclic products in good overall yield, regardless
of the substitution pattern in the initial lactam substrate. The reaction
has also been applied to the total synthesis of a reported topoisomerase
I inhibitor and to the formal synthesis of rosettacin. Further extension
of this methodology allows the preparation of 10-iodopyrrolo[1,2-b]isoquinolinones by using an excess of halogenating agent
and these compounds can be further manipulated through standard Suzuki
coupling chemistry into a variety of 10-aryl-substituted pyrrolo[1,2-b]isoquinolinones.

Abstract
The main achievements and development trends of the past 10–15 years related to the catalytic cyclopropanation of unsaturated compounds with diazomethane are integrated and analyzed. The attention is focused on the most efficient catalysts based on palladium compounds. Data on the effects of substrate structure and nature of catalyst components on the regio- and stereoselectivity of these reactions are systematized. Characteristic features of safe methods for diazomethane generation are considered, including the use of membrane technologies and continuous-flow and in situ preparation methods, which have prospects for industrial application.
The bibliography includes 281 references.

Abstract
The configuration of α-stereogenic centers affects the shape and topology of [13]-macrodilactones. When one α-stereogenic center is substituted, it directs the planar chirality of the macrocycle; when two centers are substituted, both the shape and the topology are influenced.

Abstract
A novel chiral C(2)-symmetric 1,4-diamine with multistereogenic centers at the backbone of the ligand has been synthesized from cheap natural product D-mannitol through multistep transformations. Its diimine derivative (3 a) was found to be highly effective for the enantioselective control of the copper-catalyzed asymmetric aziridination of olefin derivatives with PhI==NTs as the nitrene source, affording the corresponding N-sulfonylated azirindine derivatives in good to excellent yields with up to 99 % ee (ee=enantiomeric excess). The catalyst system discovered in the present work was also extended to a one-pot enantioselective aziridination by using sulfonamide/iodobenzene diacetate as the nitrene source. In this case, most reactions proceeded smoothly to give the corresponding products in moderate yields with good to excellent enantiomeric excesses (75-96 % ee).

Abstract
[reaction: see text] We report the stereoselective synthesis of a Decalin unit using a tandem oxy-Cope/ene reaction. [3,3]-Shift of 1,2-divinylcyclohexenol 18 generates (1E, 3Z, 7E) cyclodecatrien-2-ol 23 which tautomerizes to ketone 21 (Figure 3). The chiral information embedded in 23 is transferred into the newly formed stereogenic carbon C6 in 21. The efficiency of the chirality transfer is a reflection of the difference in the rates of ring inversion versus tautomerization of 23. Ketone 21 undergoes a carbonyl-ene reaction to give Decalin 20. Assuming a rapid equilibrium between macrocyclic diastereomers, the diastereomeric ratio of the transannular ene reaction is governed by the Curtin-Hammett principle. Analysis of the conservation of the planar chiral information in the tandem oxy-Cope/ene reaction is presented.

Abstract
[reaction: see text] Olefinic sulfamates derived from primary and secondary alcohols undergo intramolecular copper-catalyzed aziridination in the presence of iodosylbenzene to afford novel bicyclic fused aziridines. The latter were opened by various nucleophiles to give the corresponding substituted cyclic sulfamates, which in turn reacted, after nitrogen activation, with a second nucleophile at the carbon atom bearing the oxygen atom. Concomitant removal of the sulfonyloxy moiety thus gave access to polysubstituted amines.
