Abstract
BACKGROUND Orthopaedic diseases in the elderly pose a significant disease burden, and the number of research papers on the subject is increasing every year. METHODS The GBD database was used to analyze the global disease burden of musculoskeletal disorders in all age groups from 2024 to 2050. The source for bibliometrics was the WoSCC SCI-E database. RESULTS Global disability-adjusted life years (DALYs) for musculoskeletal disorders by age were dominated by those aged 70 years and older, but the rate of change in DALYs between 2024 and 2050 was approximately ± 1%. We performed a descriptive analysis of 164,521 geriatrics articles, and 7155 geriatric orthopedics and geriatric orthopedic articles, and performed clustering, co-citation, collaborative network, and burst citation analyses based on Citespace and VOSviewer. Seven clustering tags containing hot content and 26 burst citation keywords containing hot content were finally targeted. CONCLUSION DALY in older adults over 70 years of age accounts for a significant portion of the disease burden of musculoskeletal disorders. Possible future research hotspots in geriatric orthopedics and geriatric bone diseases include three directions: (1) novel clinical procedures and postoperative management (2) various comorbidities caused by SARS-CoV-2 infections and other pathogens; and (3) effectiveness of Stem Cell Therapy in Clinical Applications and Biological Mechanisms of Stem Cell Therapy.

Abstract
Introduction The rapid global population growth and limitations of traditional agricultural practices have resulted in inadequate nutrient supply. Nano-agricultural technology presents significant potential for enhancing crop growth and resistance, reducing stresses, and providing economic benefits with lower environmental risks. Methods In this study, a bibliometric analysis of nano-agricultural applications was conducted using the Web of Science Core Collection, and 2,626 publications from 2000 to 2023 were identified, with an exponential increase in both publications and citations. Results and discussion European and Asian countries and institutions are more actively involved, although USA produces the highest-quality papers. Additionally, this field has evolved through two stages: the first stage (2000-2016) focused on the toxicology of nanomaterials (NMs), while the second stage (2017-present) emphasizes NMs as nanofertilizers to promote crop growth, and as nanoregulators or nanopesticides to enhance crop resistance against biotic stress and abiotic stress. Finally, future research perspectives were also proposed, including the optimalizations of NMs, the investigations of the behavior and bioavailability of NMs driven by rhizosphere and phyllosphere process, interdisciplinary collaboration across various fields, the application of NMs from laboratory to the field, and the long-term environmental behaviors and assessments of NMs in diverse ecosystems. Overall, this bibliometric study provides a valuable reference for understanding the development of this field and pinpointing research frontiers.

Abstract
Vertical oxidation pond operated in sequencing batch mode (HRT: 1.25 day) with duckweed as the vegetation was used to acclimatize with simulated agricultural wastewater. The maximum removal rate of urea [371 g/(m3.d)] and COD [222.4 g/(m3.d)] were observed at moderate concentrations of urea (500 mg/L), N-P-K (60 mg/L), and pesticide (20 mg/L). Inhibition and toxicity posed by higher concentrations, decreased the removals of urea (83% to 61%), COD (81% to 51%), and TDS (76% to 50%) at the end of the acclimatization. Steady removal (> 99%) of PO43--P was observed during acclimatization. Effluent pH increased due to the generation of NH4+-N (maximum 370 ± 5 mg/L) from the assimilation of urea. Oxidation of ammonia led to the maximum generation of NO2--N and NO3--N of 10 mg/L and 9 mg/L, respectively. Particles less than 300 μm increased, and both specific gravity (from 2.62 to 2.42) and maximum dry density (from 1.73 to 1.30 g/cm3) of the base soil decreased with an increase in urea, N-P-K, and pesticide. Reactor biomass increased (1.42 to 1.90 g/L) up to initial concentrations of urea (500 mg/L), N-P-K (60 mg/L), and pesticide (20 mg/L), then decreased (1.68 g/L) with an increase in concentration.

Abstract
INTRODUCTION In many evidence-based approaches to orthodontic research, randomized controlled trials (RCTs) represent authoritative evidence to identify rational therapeutics. This study aimed to perform mappings of bibliometric networks on orthodontic RCTs and summarize visual characteristics between 1991 and 2022. METHODS The articles were retrieved from the Web of Science Core Collection in October 2022 without an initial time limit. Only orthodontic RCTs were eligible. Some bibliometric tools (HistCite, VOSviewer, SCImago Graphica, and CiteSpace) were applied for visualized analysis. Data such as geography, productive institutions, hot articles, journals, authors, references, and keywords were extracted and summarized for analysis. RESULTS A total of 1122 orthodontic RCTs were searched. A total of 3841 authors from 1157 institutions in 65 countries published orthodontic RCTs. The United States (149) was the most prolific country, and the University of Sao Paulo (35) was the most productive institution. The American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics (206) was the most popular journal for scholars. The visualization results of keyword co-occurrence identified 5 clusters: (1) tooth movement and auxiliary measures, (2) appliances and oral health, (3) orthodontic discomfort and symptomatic therapy, (4) periodontal disease in orthodontics and health maintenance, and (5) retention and relapse. CONCLUSIONS Over the past 31 years, publications and citations on orthodontic RCTs from the Web of Science Core Collection have increased notably across many countries, authors, and institutions. Recently, there has been a significant increase in the attention to orthodontic RCTs that focus on accelerating tooth movement.

Abstract
Objective The quality of life of diabetic patients is seriously affected by wound healing difficulty, which can lead to increased infection, skin deep tissue injury and continuous pain. By analyzing the research trends and hot spots in this field, the visualization analysis map is constructed. Methods The contents of the selected articles were sorted out and analyzed by bibliometrics. We use CiteSpace, Vosviewer and HistCite to visualize literature information, including national publication statistics, institutions, authors, journal partnerships, and citations of published articles. Results Among the 2942 articles, the United States and China ranked first in both article circulation and TGCS, and many countries also cooperated. The collaboration between schools and research institutions is a core part of dissertation research institution collaboration, with most authors coming from the same institution. Most of the literature studies on the mechanisms and methods of promoting diabetic wound healing. Improving cell function or making innovative attempts in local treatment are the fruits of researchers' efforts to promote diabetic wound healing in recent years. Conclusion Through the metrology method, the time distribution, author institution, cooperation network, research status, research hotspot and development trend of the literature on the influence of diabetes on wound healing were intuitively displayed, which provided a reference for further research and development direction.

Abstract
Through bibliometric analysis, we aim to comprehensively understand the research dynamics in this field, reveal key scientific research achievements and breakthrough discoveries, and provide valuable reference and guidance for future research directions. Utilizing the Web of Science, we retrieved the literature pertaining to ultrasonics-guided regional anesthesiology (1994-2022). CiteSpace and VOSviewer were used for bibliometric and knowledge mapping analysis. Our examination encompassed publication trends, authorship patterns, institutional contributions, frequently occurring keywords, keyword clustering, and emerging terminology trends. Of the 570 papers reviewed, there was a rising trend in publications each year. The main keywords in regional anesthesia were ultrasound guidance, nerve, analgesia, and pain score. Key research areas were regional anesthesia, ultrasound guidance, approach, pain score, and plane block. The U.S. led in research. Stanford University, University of Toronto, and Cork University Hospital were central institutions. Chan V was the top author with 24 articles, while Marhofer P was the most cited at 150 times. Regional anesthesia and pain medicine were the predominant journal in both publications and citations. In conclusion, research in this field consistently grew yearly, and visualization showcased trends in ultrasound-guided regional anesthesia. These visuals provided key bibliometric insights, helping researchers further explore and understand this domain.

Abstract
Cancer represents a challenging medical problem worldwide. Several exploratory studies have been conducted to overcome these limitations. RNA vaccines play an important role in cancer prevention and treatment. Recent studies have shown that RNA vaccines play an important role in cancer prevention. However, there are currently no relevant bibliometric studies. This study aimed to apply bibliometrics to summarize the knowledge structure and research hotspots regarding the role of RNA vaccines in cancer. Publications related to RNA vaccines in cancer were searched on the web of science core collection (WoSCC) database. VOSviewers, CiteSpace and R package "bibliometrix" were used to conduct this bibliometric analysis. A total of 1399 articles were included, comprising 803 original articles and 596 reviews. The number of studies on RNA vaccines against cancer has been increasing annually. China and the United States were the principal countries of origin of publications. Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz, NCI, and Duke University were the main organizations. Frontiers in Immunology is the leading journal in the field. Hot keywords included tumor antigens, lipid nanoparticles, emerging roles, and dendritic cells. This is the bibliometric study to summarize the research trends and development of RNA vaccines for cancer. This information will provide a reference for researchers studying RNA vaccines against cancer.

Abstract
Purpose As an important management method of the global healthcare system, diagnosis related groups (DRGs) classify patients into different cost groups and pay more attention to the equitable distribution of medical resources and the quality of medical services. At present, most countries have used DRGs to help medical institutions and doctors to treat patients more accurately, avoid the waste of medical resources, and improve treatment efficiency. Methods The Web of Science database was searched to collect all relevant literature on DRGs from 2013 to 2022. The literature information was imported into CiteSpace, Vosviewer, and Histcite for data analysis and visualization of the results. Analyze the cooperative relationship among the countries, institutions, journals, and authors. The usage trend of keywords; Highlight the content of the cited articles. Results The number of articles published in this decade was stable, and the number of citations in 2014 was the highest. The United States and Germany, as the first countries to use the DRGs system, are ahead of other countries in terms of the number and quality of articles. We have carried out content research on the articles with high citations, and summarized the application range of DRGs; classification method; advantages and disadvantages of the application. In general, the development trend of DRGs in foreign countries is to continuously optimize the classification method, expand the scope of application, and improve the application effect. These provide support and reference for the improvement of medical services and the perfection of the medical insurance system. Conclusion The application of DRGs can improve the quality and efficiency of medical services, and reduce the waste of medical expenses. It can also promote the rational allocation of medical resources and the equity of medical services. In the future, DRGs will pay more attention to the personalized diagnosis and treatment and fine management of patients, and the sharing and standardization of medical data, to promote the development of medical informatization.

Abstract
In this study, the virtual engine software (Unity 2019, Unity Software Inc., San Francisco, California, the U.S.) was used to generate a digital landscape model, forming a virtual immersive environment. Through field investigation and emotional preference experiments, the ancient tree ecological area and the sunlight-exposed area were respectively monitored, and the somatosensory comfort evaluation model was established. The subjects showed the highest degree of interest in the ancient tree ecological area after landscape roaming experience, and the mean variance in SC fluctuation was 13.23% in experiments. The subjects were in a low arousal state and had a significant degree of interest in the digital landscape roaming scene, and there was a significant correlation between positive emotion, somatosensory comfort and the Rating of Perceived Exertion index; moreover, the somatosensory comfort of the ancient tree ecological area was higher than that of the sunlight-exposed area. Meanwhile, it was found that somatosensory comfort level can effectively distinguish the comfort level between the ancient tree ecological area and the sunlight-exposed area, which provides an important basis for monitoring extreme heat. This study concludes that, in terms of the goal of harmonious coexistence between human and nature, the evaluation model of somatosensory comfort can contribute to reducing people's adverse views on extreme weather conditions.

Abstract
To investigate the international development status and hot trends in the field of environmental security management in recent years, the published the environmental security management literature from 1997 to 2021, which was retrieved from Web of Science, with VOSviewer as the main and CiteSpace as the auxiliary, through the cooperation network of authors, scientific research institutions, and countries. The keywords were visualized by clustering, time zone analysis, and burst analysis. A total of 7596 articles were retrieved, forming six main clustering labels, including 28,144 authors. The research hotspots are from the fields of personal health, society, agriculture, ecological environment, energy, and sustainable development, as well as the development of internet environmental safety management, such as big data, Bayesian networks, and conceptual frameworks. Through cluster analysis, the cooperation of major research teams and scientific research institutions and the cooperation and development between countries were analyzed. The cooperation between scientific research institutions in various countries is relatively close. The United States currently occupies a dominant and authoritative position in this field. China has cooperated more closely with the United States, Britain, Australia, and India.

Abstract
Background: Cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases are major global health problems, and the main cause is atherosclerosis. Recently, molecular imaging has been widely employed in the diagnosis and therapeutic applications of a variety of diseases, including atherosclerosis. Substantive facts have announced that molecular imaging has broad prospects in the early diagnosis and targeted treatment of atherosclerosis. Objective: We conducted a scientometric analysis of the scientific publications over the past 23 years on molecular imaging research in atherosclerosis, so as to identify the key progress, hotspots, and emerging trends. Methods: Original research and reviews regarding molecular imaging in atherosclerosis were retrieved from the Web of Science Core Collection database. Microsoft Excel 2021 was used to analyze the main findings. CiteSpace, VOSviewer, and a scientometric online platform were used to perform visualization analysis of the co-citation of journals and references, co-occurrence of keywords, and collaboration between countries/regions, institutions, and authors. Results: A total of 1755 publications were finally included, which were published by 795 authors in 443 institutions from 59 countries/regions. The United States was the top country in terms of the number and centrality of publications in this domain, with 810 papers and a centrality of 0.38, and Harvard University published the largest number of articles (182). Fayad, ZA was the most productive author, with 73 papers, while LIBBY P had the most co-citations (493). CIRCULATION was the top co-cited journal with a frequency of 1,411, followed by ARTERIOSCL THROM VAS (1,128). The co-citation references analysis identified eight clusters with a well-structured network (Q = 0.6439) and highly convincing clustering (S = 0.8865). All the studies calculated by keyword co-occurrence were divided into five clusters: "nanoparticle," "magnetic resonance imaging," "inflammation," "positron emission tomography," and "ultrasonography". Hot topics mainly focused on cardiovascular disease, contrast media, macrophage, vulnerable plaque, and microbubbles. Sodium fluoride ⁃PET, targeted drug delivery, OCT, photoacoustic imaging, ROS, and oxidative stress were identified as the potential trends. Conclusion: Molecular imaging research in atherosclerosis has attracted extensive attention in academia, while the challenges of clinical transformation faced in this field have been described in this review. The findings of the present research can inform funding agencies and researchers toward future directions.

Abstract
Background In recent years, the emergence of new diseases and resistance to known diseases have led to increasing demand for new drugs. By means of bibliometric analysis, this paper studied the relevant articles on drug repositioning in recent years and analyzed the current research foci and trends. Methodology The Web of Science database was searched to collect all relevant literature on drug repositioning from 2001 to 2022. These data were imported into CiteSpace and bibliometric online analysis platforms for bibliometric analysis. The processed data and visualized images predict the development trends in the research field. Results The quality and quantity of articles published after 2011 have improved significantly, with 45 of them cited more than 100 times. Articles posted by journals from different countries have high citation values. Authors from other institutions have also collaborated to analyze drug rediscovery. Keywords found in the literature include molecular docking (N=223), virtual screening (N=170), drug discovery (N=126), machine learning (N=125), and drug-target interaction (N=68); these words represent the core content of drug repositioning. Conclusion The key focus of drug research and development is related to the discovery of new indications for drugs. Researchers are starting to retarget drugs after analyzing online databases and clinical trials. More and more drugs are being targeted at other diseases to treat more patients, based on saving money and time. It is worth noting that researchers need more financial and technical support to complete drug development.

Abstract
Background The field of rehabilitation medicine plays an essential role in the comprehensive management of osteoporosis and its consequences. The benefits of therapeutic exercise are increasingly being recognized in this area, which receives an increasing number of publications. this study was designed to comprehensively identify collaborative networks, parse and track research trends, spotlight present hotspots, and accurately predict frontiers and focus on the health topics related to osteoporosis rehabilitation. Methods This research adopted computer retrieval of osteoporosis rehabilitation-related research published in the Web of Science Core Collection (WoSCC) from inception to June 14, 2022. The bibliometric visualization and comparative analysis involving countries, institutions, journals, authors, references, and keywords were performed using the CiteSpace and VOSviewer software. Results A total of 3,268 articles were included, and the number of articles published each year has demonstrated a steady increase. The United States and the University of Melbourne were the highest productive country and institution, with 1,325 and 87 articles, respectively. The journal of osteoporosis international has published the greatest number of articles, with 221 publications, and the journal of bone and mineral research ranked first in the co-citation counts (cited by 11,792 times). The most productive and highly-cited authors were Heinonen A and Cummings S, with 35 publications and 680 citations. Conclusions At present, "physical activity," "weight bearing exercise," "muscle strength," "whole body vibration," "postmenopausal women," "older women," children, men are the noteworthy research hot topics. Future research that focus on the major modes and parameters of physical activity/exercise for osteoporosis (including whole body vibration, weight bearing exercises, resistance training), targeted multicomponent training regimens, rehabilitation therapy for postmenopausal women, older women, children and men, osteoporosis related-sarcopenia and fractures, and mesenchymal stem cells are becoming frontiers and focus on the health topics related to osteoporosis rehabilitation in the upcoming years, which are worthy of further exploration.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Ferroptosis has been widely investigated as an emerging drug target, while its combination with nanoscience provides bourgeoning application prospects. The development of ferroptosis regulating nanomedicines have attracted worldwide attentions in recent years. It would be meaningful to describe the relevant publication paradigm. METHODS Herein, a bibliometric analysis was performed using the database of Web of Science Core Collection to clarify the publication paradigm. The development of related publications in the last 6 years was described, and the revolutionary trends were figured out. Ultimately, the possible future exploration directions were proposed. RESULTS The bibliometric analysis of 327 documents of interest indicated that the main research focus was in multiple fields including Materials science, Science & technology, Chemistry, and Pharmacology & pharmacy. With widely cooperation and strong funding, the researchers from Chinese organizations contributed most of publications, followed with United States and Australia. Cocitation analysis revealed that several original papers reported the key molecular mechanisms of ferroptosis were considered as the foundation for subsequent studies, and some nanomedicines-related documents were taken as examples and discussed. Mining results showed that the mechanism evaluation of ferroptosis regulation therapy for cancer treatment was the hotspot. Then, several possible future explorations of ferroptosis-related nanoscience were presented and discussed. CONCLUSIONS The bibliometric profile of nanoscience-ferroptosis research was analyzed in detail. We believe that the bibliometric analysis could act as a robust method for explicating the publication paradigm as a certain field.

Abstract
AimsThis study intends to explore the research focus and trends of fulminant myocarditis (FM) to have a better understanding of the topic.Materials and methodsThe data were downloaded from the Web of Science (WoS) database using the topic (TS) advanced search strategy. Many instruments were used to extract, analyze, and visualize the data, such as Microsoft Excel, HistCite Pro, GunnMap, BibExcel, and VOSviewer.ResultsFrom 1985 to 2022, 726 documents were indexed in the WoS. The United States and Columbia University were the most productive country and institutions. Keywords co-occurrence was carried out and four research themes were identified. In addition, the top three prolific authors, the first three highly cited authors, and the core authors of the author co-citation network were identified. The topics that they kept an eye on were analyzed, and the research areas of key authors were similar to the results of keyword co-occurrence. The hot topics of FM were related to the mechanical circulatory support, etiology, diagnosis, and the disease or therapy associated with FM.ConclusionThis study carried out a systematic analysis of the documents related to FM from 1985 to 2022, which can provide a guideline for researchers to understand the theme trend to promote future research to be carried out.

Abstract
In the face of the rapid increase of carbon emissions, climate warming, and an epidemic situation, low-carbon economy is attracting growing attention. Using bibliometric analysis and machine learning methods, the paper conducts a systematic review in the low-carbon economy. Using the Web of Science Core Collection database, 1433 articles from 1990 to 2021 were selected for review. We find that the trajectories of the low-carbon economy research can be divided into four phases: exploration, fermentation, rising, and flourishing. The low-carbon economy research can be categorized into five clusters: low-carbon energy policy, carbon footprint and carbon trading, energy-economy-environment system, energy efficiency and its decomposition, and carbon emission drivers. The findings of this review study shed light on the role and effects of low-carbon economic policies on energy futures.

Abstract
Bisphenol A (BPA) is used worldwide and research on the toxicity of BPA has advanced rapidly in the last few decades. This study aimed to evaluate the global scientific output of toxicity of BPA and explore the hot spots and research trends. All available articles related to the toxicity of BPA until 2022 were retrieved from the Web of Science Core Collection database. The VOSviewer, a bibliometric analysis software, was used to analyze the information of included articles, including countries/institutions, international cooperation, journals, citations, and keywords. Among 1644 retrieved articles, 1611 eligible studies were identified for analysis, and the annual publications increased with time in the past three decades. China and the United States were the most active contributors in this field. Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Dow chemical company conducted relatively more research than others about BPA toxicity. The journal “Chemosphere” published the most studies on “BPA toxicity”. Before 2015, most research focused on estrogenic activity and the test system mainly utilized animal experiments. However, in recent years, research related to toxic mechanisms of BPA at the cellular level and the toxicity of its analogs have received widespread attention. Considering some critical research gaps, future research on BPA toxicology should probably focus on the molecular biology of toxic mechanism, mixture toxicity, and co-exposure of BPA substitutes. This study will help researchers understand past and current research trends, hot spots, and trends of toxicity studies of BPA and, thus, contribute to further research and risk management of BPA.
