Abstract
BACKGOUND To explore the characteristics and risk factors for health-related risky behaviours (HRRBs) in adolescents with depression. METHODS A total of 136 adolescents aged 12-18 years who met the diagnostic criteria for depression, and 272 healthy controls. All the subjects were assessed with the Adolescent Health-Related Risky Behavior Inventory (AHRBI), and the AHRBI scores of the two groups were compared with the Mann-Whitney U test. The depression group was assessed with the Self-Rating Anxiety Scale (SAS), Self-Rating Depression Scale (SDS), Childhood Trauma Questionnaire (CTQ), Cognitive Emotion Regulation Questionnaire (CERQ), Egna Minnen av Barndoms Uppfostran (EMBU), and Family Adaptability and Cohesion Scale (FACES II-CV). Spearman correlation analysis and multiple linear regression were used to explore the risk factors for HRRBs in adolescents with depression. RESULTS The AHRBI total score and five-factor scores of self-injury and suicide (SS), aggression and violence (AV), rule-breaking (RB), smoking and drinking (SD), and health-compromising behavior (HCB) in the depression group were higher than those in the control group. The severity of anxiety, catastrophizing, cognitive emotional regulation strategy (self-blame and blaming of others), the frequency of depression, physical neglect, and sexual abuse all increased the risk of HRRBs in adolescents with depression, and paternal emotional warmth and understanding had protective effects. CONCLUSION First, depressed adolescents exhibited significantly more HRRBs than healthy adolescents. Second, there are many risk factors for HRRBs in adolescents with depression, and the risk factors for different types of HRRBs are also different.

Abstract
Psychological pain or psychache is intolerable and unacceptable mental pain. This construct plays a key role in the risk of suicide in adolescence. This is a frequent condition in adolescents with depression; a variety of studies propose a bidirectional relationship between these two circumstances. Adolescents with psychological pain are exposed to the risk of suicidal ideation, and behavior. This review aimed to explore psychological pain in adolescents, and the correlation to the risk of suicide. We have conducted, following PRISMA guidelines, a systematic review for the literature on PubMed. Search terms were "Suicide risk in adolescents" AND "Mental Pain in adolescence" OR "Psychological Pain in adolescence". An initial search identified publications 1189. A total of 15 studies met the predefined inclusion criteria and were analyzed. Mental pain is a stronger factor of vulnerability of suicidal ideation and behavior. Intense negative emotions, such as guilt, shame, hopelessness, may become a psychological pain in adolescence, and many studies showed a relation between psychological pain and capability for suicide.

Abstract
INTRODUCTION Male adolescents' mental health has been understudied compared to their female counterparts and is not well known among health professionals. This is particularly problematic in emergencies because the number of such patients is increasing. OBJECTIVES To identify the type of demand for care and the characteristics of male adolescents' emergency room visits. To describe the sociodemographic data and clinical characteristics of regular users. METHOD This is a retrospective study of all medical records of male adolescents aged 14-18, admitted between 2014 and 2015 to the pediatric emergency room of a Swiss university hospital. Sociodemographic and clinical data (e.g., degree of urgency, diagnosis, length of stay, emergency service use, and emergency discharge destinations) were collected. Descriptive and multivariate analyses were performed using STATA 13.1 software. RESULTS Over the 2-year study period, 2045 male adolescents consulted in emergency departments for a total of 3199 admissions. The average age was 15.6 years (SD, 1). Most consultations were non-urgent (93%) and the reasons included musculoskeletal (43%), dermatological (13%), and digestive (10%) complaints. Forty-two male adolescents (2%) had four or more visits within the 2-year period and were considered regular users; they were also more likely to have psychological complaints (adjusted OR, 5.04; 95% CI, 1.81-13.72) and comorbidities (adjusted OR, 2.55; 95% CI, 1.25-5.21) when compared to their counterparts with fewer than four visits. CONCLUSION Since regular users are at greater risk of having psychological complaints and comorbidities during their first emergency room visit, a systematic assessment of these adolescents' mental health levels and overall health indicators is recommended.

[Prevalence of teenage sleeping disorders]. Arch Pediatr 2017; 24:336-345. Abstract
Teenage sleeping disorders can have short- and long-term consequences such as learning disorders, accidents, depression, and type 2 diabetes. OBJECTIVE To assess the prevalence of sleeping disorders in high school students in the southwest of Brittany (Finistère), France. To search for family and social factors causing these disorders and drug use. METHOD Observational multicenter study that took place in May, 2015, asking high school students to anonymously complete a questionnaire during school time. A variable was created: sleep disorders (TrS+) when teenagers responded "often" or "very often" to at least one of the six questions concerning sleeping disorders. RESULTS The prevalence of TrS+ was 73 % (4170/5556). These teenagers had difficulty falling asleep (36 %), woke up during the night (33 %), or had nightmares (10 %). Their sleep routine was disrupted (35 %), they did not feel rested the following day (49 %): 9 % were late for class related to their sleeping disorders. TrS+ were more recurrent among females (OR: 2.64; P<0.0001). A negative atmosphere in high school (OR: 2.64; P<0.0001), tobacco use (>10 cigarettes per a day) (OR: 2.39; P<0.0001), alcohol (OR: 1.4, P=0.009), marijuana (<1 time per day; OR: 2.05; P=0.009), and time spent using a computer or watching television (>8h per a day; OR: 2.7; P<0.0001) had an impact on their sleep quality. Ten percent of TrS+ individuals consume medications and 9 % cannabis to help them fall asleep. CONCLUSION Technology, drugs, and well-being at school have an impact on sleep quality. Screening of teenagers with sleeping disorders and information programs for teenagers must be provided by the teaching and medical staff.
