Abstract
This study aimed at investigating the effect of hydrolyzed soya lecithin; also called lysolecithin or lysophosphatidylcholine, on growth performance, caecal microbiota and fat depots in pre-breeding primiparous rabbits does. For this, 60 V-Line primiparous rabbits does (5-6 months) were used in a 30-day experiment. Does were allotted into three iso-nitrogenous iso-caloric dietary treatments (n = 20/group) as follows: (1) CON received 0% soya lecithin, (2) LECL group was fed a basal diet supplemented with 0.5% soya lecithin and (3) LECH group was fed a basal diet supplemented with 1% soya lecithin. Growth performance indices were measured, caecum samples were collected for measurement of specific bacteria via qPCR, and several fat depots including periovarian fat were sampled for adipocyte morphometry and fatty acid profiling. Statistical analysis was performed using GLM procedures of SAS v9.4. Soya lecithin increased feed intake (p < 0.05). The abundance of caecal Bifidobacteria species, Ruminococcus species and phylum Butryvibrio-specific genes increased (p < 0.05) in rabbits receiving soya lecithin in their diet, soya lecithin increased the level of polyunsaturated fatty acids in subcutaneous and perirenal fat (p < 0.05) and increased the level of monounsaturated fatty acids in periovarian fat (p < 0.05); additionally, the adipocyte area increased in periovarian and perirenal fat (p < 0.05). In conclusion, soya lecithin at a dose of 0.5% increased feed intake and energy storage in adipocytes and improved the fatty acid profile of periovarian fat.

Abstract
P. trituberculatus is an economically important mariculture species in China. Evaluating its genetic diversity and population structure can contribute to the exploration of germplasm resources and promote sustainable aquaculture production. In this study, a total of 246,243 SSRs were generated by transcriptome sequencing of P. trituberculatus. Among the examined 254,746 unigenes, 66,331 had more than one SSR. Among the different SSR motif types, dinucleotide repeats (110,758, 44.98%) were the most abundant. In 173 different base repeats, A/T (96.86%), AC/GT (51.46%), and ACC/GGT (26.20%) were dominant in mono-, di-, and trinucleotide, respectively. GO annotations showed 87,079 unigenes in 57 GO terms. Cellular process, cell, and binding were the most abundant terms in biological process, cellular component, and molecular function categories separately. A total of 34,406 annotated unigenes were classified into 26 functional categories according to the functional annotation analysis of KOG, of which “general function prediction only” was the biggest category (6,028 unigenes, 17.52%). KEGG pathway annotations revealed the clustering of 34,715 unigenes into 32 different pathways. Nineteen SSRs were identified as polymorphic and, thus, used to assess the genetic diversity and structure of 240 P. trituberculatus individuals from four populations in the Bohai Sea. Genetic parameter analysis showed a similar level of genetic diversity within wild populations, and the cultured population indicated a reduction in genetic diversity compared with wild populations. The pairwise FST values were between 0.001 and 0.04 with an average of 0.0205 (p < 0.05), suggesting a low but significant level of genetic differentiation among the four populations. Structure analysis demonstrated that the four populations were classified into two groups including the cultured group and other populations. The phylogenetic tree and PCA revealed that a vast number of samples were clustered together and that cultivated individuals were distributed more centrally than wild individuals. The findings contribute to the further assessment of germplasm resources and assist to provide valuable SSRs for marker-assisted breeding of P. trituberculatus in the future.

Abstract
Primary liver cancer is a rapidly progressing neoplasm with high morbidity and mortality rates. The present study aimed to identify potential diagnostic and prognostic biomarkers, and candidate targeted agents for hepatitis B virus (HBV)-associated early stage hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). The gene expression profiles were extracted from the Gene Expression Omnibus database. Differentially expressed genes (DEGs), hub genes and the enrichment of signaling pathways were filtered out via a high-throughput sequencing method. The association between hub genes and the effects of the abnormal expression of hub genes on the rate of genetic variation, overall survival (OS), relapse-free survival (RFS), progression-free survival (PFS) and disease-free survival (DSS) of patients with HCC, as well as pathological stage and grade, were analyzed using different databases. A total of 1,582 DEGs were identified. Gene Ontology analysis revealed that the DEGs were mainly involved in the ‘oxidation-reduction process’, ‘steroid metabolic process’, ‘metabolic process’ and ‘fatty acid beta-oxidation’. Enrichment analysis of Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes pathways revealed that the DEGs were mainly associated with ‘metabolic pathways’, ‘PPAR signaling pathway’, ‘fatty acid degradation’ and the ‘cell cycle’. A total of 8 hub genes were extracted. Additionally, the abnormal expression levels of hub genes were closely associated with the OS, RFS, PFS and DSS of patients, the pathological stage and the grade. Furthermore, abnormal expression levels of the 8 hub genes were found in >30% of all samples. Several small molecular compounds that may reverse the altered DEGs were identified based on Connectivity Map analysis, including phenoxybenzamine, GW-8510, resveratrol, 0175029-0000 and daunorubicin. In conclusion, the dysfunction of fat metabolic pathways, the cell cycle, oxidation-reduction processes and viral carcinogenesis may serve critical roles in the occurrence of HBV-associated early stage HCC. The identified 8 hub genes may act as robust biomarkers for diagnosis and prognosis. Some small molecular compounds may be promising targeted agents against HBV-associated early stage HCC.
