Abstract
BACKGROUND Despite most patients with trachea, bronchus, and lung (TBL) cancer being elderly, epidemiological data specific to this population remain scarce. This study aims to update and delineate the global epidemiological profile of TBL in older adults. METHODS An analysis was conducted on data from the Global Burden of Diseases (GBD) 2021 for individuals aged 60 and older. We evaluated the worldwide impact of TBL cancer by socio-demographic index (SDI), gender, and age across 204 countries and territories, including their spatial and temporal trends. The main outcomes comprised age-standardized incidence rates (ASIR), mortality rates (ASMR), disability-adjusted life years (DALY) rates (ASDR), and average annual percent change (AAPC). RESULTS From 1992 to 2021, the estimated cases of TBL cancer, along with associated deaths and DALYs, increased among the elderly. The ASIR, ASMR, and ASDR all exhibited a declining trend. In 2021, East Asia faced a substantial TBL cancer burden, whereas Western Sub-Saharan Africa exhibited a notable increase over the last thirty years. In 2021, Monaco and Greenland recorded the highest ASIR, ASMR, and ASDR, while Egypt experienced the most significant rise in these rates from 1992 to 2021. The greatest affected age group was those aged 85-89. The TBL cancer burden followed distinct patterns by SDI and sex, with higher SDI regions and females facing a particularly notable increase in burden. From 1992 to 2021, smoking was the leading risk factor for TBL cancer-related deaths and DALYs in older adults, with particulate matter air pollution as a close second. CONCLUSIONS The burden of TBL cancer varies widely across different regions and demographics. More attention should be paid to the elderly in higher SDI regions and females. Recognizing these trends is crucial for enhancing tertiary prevention strategies for TBL cancer and exploring innovative approaches to diagnosis and treatment.

Abstract
The optimal surgical approach for elderly patients with early-stage non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) remains a topic of debate. A retrospective analysis was conducted on patients who underwent pulmonary resection for early-stage NSCLC at our single institution between January 2018 and December 2022. Propensity score matching was used to balance baseline characteristics between the sublobar resection and lobectomy groups. Perioperative outcomes, pulmonary function recovery, postoperative quality of life, and survival were compared between the two groups. A total of 151 patients were included, with 42 undergoing sublobar resection and 109 undergoing lobectomy. After propensity score matching, baseline characteristics were well-balanced between the two groups. Sublobar resection was associated with shorter operative time (125.83 ± 33.56 min vs. 161.14 ± 61.54 min, p = 0.048), less intraoperative blood loss [65 (30, 75) ml vs. 120 (70, 170) ml, p < 0.001], shorter drainage duration [3 (2, 5) days vs. 5 (3, 6) days, p < 0.001], shorter hospital stay [6 (4, 8) days vs. 10 (7, 13) days, p < 0.001], and fewer postoperative complications (11.9% vs. 47.6%, p < 0.001), compared to lobectomy. Moreover, sublobar resection led to better pulmonary function recovery and higher postoperative quality of life scores, with no significant difference in overall and disease-free survival between the groups. Sublobar resection in patients aged 80 and above with early-stage NSCLC offered comparable oncological outcomes to lobectomy while preserving more lung function and providing better postoperative recovery and long-term quality of life. These findings have important implications for treatment decision-making in elderly NSCLC patients.

Abstract
The incidence of cancer is increasing worldwide and is the most common cause of death. Identification of novel cancer diagnostic and prognostic biomarkers is important for developing cancer treatment strategies and reducing mortality. Cyclin-dependent kinase subunit 2 (CKS2) is involved in cell cycle and proliferation processes, and based on these processes, CKS2 was identified as a cancer gene. CKS2 is expressed in a variety of tissues in the human body, but its abnormal expression is associated with cancer in a variety of systems. CKS2 is generally elevated in cancer, plays a role in almost all aspects of cancer biology (such as cell proliferation, invasion, metastasis, and drug resistance) through multiple mechanisms regulating certain important genes, and is associated with clinicopathological features of patients. In addition, CKS2 expression patterns are closely related to cancer type, stage and other clinical variables. Therefore, CKS2 is considered as a tool for cancer diagnosis and prognosis and may be a promising tumor biomarker and therapeutic target. This article reviews the biological function, mechanism of action and potential clinical significance of CKS2 in cancer, in order to provide a new theoretical basis for clinical molecular diagnosis, molecular targeted therapy and scientific research of cancer.

Abstract
Objectives Lung cancer is the leading cause of cancer death, and 80-85% of all lung cancer cases are non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Surgical resection is the standard treatment for early-stage NSCLC. However, lung resection, a surgical procedure, can result in complications and increased mortality. Recent studies have shown a significant correlation between complications after lung resection and right ventricular dysfunction. Methods Transthoracic echocardiography-derived right ventricular-pulmonary artery coupling (RV-PAC) was utilized to assess right ventricular function in these patients. Multivariate logistic regression analysis was also conducted to assess risk factors independently associated with RV-PA uncoupling. The 3- and 5-year cumulative survival rates were estimated with Kaplan-Meier curves, and differences between groups were analyzed using the Mantel-Cox log-rank test. Results RV-PA uncoupling was defined as a TAPSE/PASP value < 0.67 mm/mm Hg according to spline analysis. The results of multivariable logistic regression analysis indicated that diabetes is an independent risk factor for right ventricular dysfunction after lung resection in patients with NSCLC. Kaplan-Meier analysis revealed a significant decrease in the survival rate of patients with RV-PA uncoupling at both the 3-year follow-up (73% vs 40%, p < 0.001) and 5-year follow-up (64% vs 37%, p < 0.001). Conclusions After lung resection for NSCLC, the patient's right ventricular function predicts prognosis. Patients with right ventricular dysfunction, particularly those with diabetes mellitus, have a worse prognosis. It is crucial to actively prevent and correct risk factors to reduce the mortality rate in these patients.

Abstract
In response to the high incidence and poor prognosis of lung cancer, this study tends to develop a generalizable lung-cancer prediction model by using machine learning to define high-risk groups and realize the early identification and prevention of lung cancer. We included 467,888 participants from UK Biobank, using lung cancer incidence as an outcome variable, including 49 previously known high-risk factors and less studied or unstudied predictors. We developed multivariate prediction models using multiple machine learning models, namely logistic regression, naïve Bayes, random forest, and extreme gradient boosting models. The performance of the models was evaluated by calculating the areas under their receiver operating characteristic curves, Brier loss, log loss, precision, recall, and F1 scores. The Shapley additive explanations interpreter was used to visualize the models. Three were ultimately 4299 cases of lung cancer that were diagnosed in our sample. The model containing all the predictors had good predictive power, and the extreme gradient boosting model had the best performance with an area under curve of 0.998. New important predictive factors for lung cancer were also identified, namely hip circumference, waist circumference, number of cigarettes previously smoked daily, neuroticism score, age, and forced expiratory volume in 1 second. The predictive model established by incorporating novel predictive factors can be of value in the early identification of lung cancer. It may be helpful in stratifying individuals and selecting those at higher risk for inclusion in screening programs.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Radiomics has been used to predict pulmonary nodule (PN) malignancy. However, most of the studies focused on pulmonary ground-glass nodules. The use of computed tomography (CT) radiomics in pulmonary solid nodules, particularly sub-centimeter solid nodules, is rare. PURPOSE This study aims to develop a radiomics model based on non-enhanced CT images that can distinguish between benign and malignant sub-centimeter pulmonary solid nodules (SPSNs, <1 cm). METHODS The clinical and CT data of 180 SPSNs confirmed by pathology were analyzed retrospectively. All SPSNs were divided into two groups: training set (n = 144) and testing set (n = 36). From non-enhanced chest CT images, over 1000 radiomics features were extracted. Radiomics feature selection was performed using the analysis of variance and principal component analysis. The selected radiomics features were fed into a support vector machine (SVM) to develop a radiomics model. The clinical and CT characteristics were used to develop a clinical model. Associating non-enhanced CT radiomics features with clinical factors were used to develop a combined model using SVM. The performance was evaluated using the area under the receiver-operating characteristic curve (AUC). RESULTS The radiomics model performed well in distinguishing between benign and malignant SPSNs, with an AUC of 0.913 (95% confidence interval [CI], 0.862-0.954) in the training set and an AUC of 0.877 (95% CI, 0.817-0.924) in the testing set. The combined model outperformed the clinical and radiomics models with an AUC of 0.940 (95% CI, 0.906-0.969) in the training set and an AUC of 0.903 (95% CI, 0.857-0.944) in the testing set. CONCLUSIONS Radiomics features based on non-enhanced CT images can be used to differentiate SPSNs. The combined model, which included radiomics and clinical factors, had the best discrimination power between benign and malignant SPSNs.

Abstract
INTRODUCTION Ageism towards older adults with cancer may impact treatment decisions, healthcare interactions, and shape health/psychosocial outcomes. The purpose of this review is twofold: (1) To synthesize the literature on ageism towards older adults with cancer in oncology and (2) To identify interventions that address ageism in the healthcare context applicable to oncology. MATERIALS AND METHODS We conducted a scoping review following Arksey and O'Malley and Levac methods and Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) guidelines. We conducted an exhaustive multi-database search, screening 30,926 titles/abstracts. Following data abstraction, we conducted tabular, narrative, and textual synthesis. RESULTS We extracted data on 133 papers. Most (n = 44) were expert opinions, reviews, and letters to editors highlighting the negative impacts of ageism, expressing the need for approaches addressing heterogeneity of older adults, and calling for increased clinical trial inclusion for older adults. Qualitative studies (n = 3) described healthcare professionals' perceived influence of age on treatment recommendations, whereas quantitative studies (n = 32) were inconclusive as to whether age-related bias impacted treatment recommendations/outcomes or survival. Intervention studies (n = 54) targeted ageism in pre/post-licensure healthcare professionals and reported participants' improvement in knowledge and/or attitudes towards older adults. No interventions were found that had been implemented in oncology. DISCUSSION Concerns relating to ageism in cancer care are consistently described in the literature. Interventions exist to address ageism; however, none have been developed or tested in oncology settings. Addressing ageism in oncology will require integration of geriatric knowledge/interventions to address conscious and unconscious ageist attitudes impacting care and outcomes. Interventions hold promise if tailored for cancer care settings. 249/250.

Abstract
Replication protein A 3 (RPA3) is a significant component of replication protein A and has been documented to function as an oncogene in several types of cancers. However, the role and underlying mechanism of RPA3 in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD) remains unknown. In this study, messenger expression of RPA3 and survival probability in LUAD were predicted by the UALCAN database. The combination of RPA3 with cyclin-dependent kinases regulatory subunit 2 (CKS2) were characterized by the humanbase and STRING databases and verified by co-immunoprecipitation. Cell viability was assessed by Cell Counting Kit-8 assay and colony formation assay. Flow cytometric analysis and terminal deoxynucleotidyl transferase-mediated dUTP nick-end labeling assay were used to determine cell cycle and cell apoptosis, respectively. The expressions of protein kinase B/mammalian target of rapamycin (AKT/mTOR) pathway and autophagy-related proteins were examined by western blot assay. Significantly, we revealed that RPA3 expression was upregulated in LUAD and is associated with poor prognosis in LUAD patients. RPA3 and CKS2 expression was highly expressed in LUAD cell lines and the interaction between RPA3 and CKS2 was confirmed. RPA3 silencing inhibited A549 cell viability, blocked cell cycle and promoted cell apoptosis, as well as induction of autophagy and inhibition of AKT/mTOR signaling. CKS2 overexpression reversed the effects of RPA3 silencing on A549 cells. In addition, RPA3 knockdown enhanced cisplatin sensitivity of A549 cells through blocking the AKT/mTOR signaling. These results suggested that RPA3 might control LUAD cell autophagy and enhance cisplatin sensitivity by regulation of AKT/mTOR signaling via targeting CKS2.

Abstract
The lungs are continually subjected to noxious and inert substances, are immunologically active, and are in a constant state of damage and repair. This makes the pulmonary system particularly vulnerable to diseases of aging. Aging can be understood as random molecular damage that is unrepaired and accumulates over time, resulting in cellular defects and tissue dysfunction. The breakdown of cellular mechanisms, including stem cell exhaustion, genomic instability, telomere attrition, epigenetic alteration, loss of proteostasis, deregulated nutrient sensing, mitochondrial dysfunction, cellular senescence, altered intercellular communication, and changes in the extracellular matrix is thought to advance the aging process itself. Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF), and cancers illustrate a pathologic breakdown in these mechanisms beyond normal aging. The immune system becomes less effective with advancing age. There is a low-level state of chronic inflammation termed inflammaging which is thought to be driven by immunosenescence, the changes in the innate and adaptive immune systems with advancing age that lead to dysregulation and decreased effectiveness of the immune system. These processes of aging lead to expected changes in the form and function of the respiratory system, most notably a loss of lung elasticity, decrease in respiratory muscle strength, increase in ventilation-perfusion mismatching, and stiffening of the vasculature. The astute clinician is aware of these expected findings and does not often attribute dyspnea to aging alone. Maintaining a low threshold to investigate for comorbid disease and understanding how pulmonary disease presents differently in the elderly than in younger adults can improve clinical outcomes. © 2022 American Physiological Society. Abstract
BACKGROUND Results from studies addressing age-related patterns of cancer care have found evidence of unjustified differences in management between younger and older patients. METHODS We examined associations between age and clinical presentation, management and mortality in patients diagnosed with non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) between 2002 and 2016. Analyses were adjusted for comorbidity and other factors that may have affected management decisions and outcomes. RESULTS The study population encompassed 40,026 patients with NSCLC. Stage at diagnosis did not differ between age groups ≤ 84. The diagnostic intensity was similar in age groups <80 years. In patients with stage IA-IIB disease and PS 0-2, surgery was more common in the youngest age groups and decreased with increasing age, and was rarely performed in those ≥ 85 years. The use of stereotactic body radiotherapy (SBRT) increased with age (≤69 years 5.4%; ≥85 years 35.8%). In patients with stage IIIA disease and PS 0-2, concurrent chemoradiotherapy was more common in younger patients (≤69 years 55.3%; ≥85 years 2.2%). In stage IA-IIIA disease, no major differences in treatment-related mortality was observed. In stage IIIB-IV and PS 0-2, chemotherapy was more common in patients <80 years. However, 58.1% of patients 80-84 years and 30.3% ≥ 85 years received treatment. In stage IA-IIIA, overall and cause-specific survival decreased with increasing age. No age-differences in survival were observed in patients with stage IIIB-IV NSCLC. CONCLUSION Treatments were readily given to older patients with metastatic disease, but to a lesser degree to those with early stage disease. Significant differences in cause specific survival were observed in early, but not late stage disease. Our findings underscore the importance of individualized assessment of health status and life expectancy. Our results indicate that older patients with early stage lung cancer to a higher extent should be considered for curative treatment.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Lung carcinoma is a common geriatric disease. The development of genotype-targeted therapies greatly improved the management of lung carcinoma. However, the treatment for old patients can be more complex than that for young individuals. RESULTS To investigate the benefits of genetic detection for older patients with lung carcinoma, we explored the genomic profiling of 258 patients with more than 55 years using a targeted next generation sequencing, and some of these patients were treated with targeted therapies based on the results of genomic detection. KRAS codon 61 mutations were found in 15.2% KRAS-mutated patients, which tend to be co-existing with other classical activating mutations other than codons 12/13. Acquired EGFR C797S mutations were identified in 2 cases and ERBB2 amplification was identified in 1 case. All these 3 cases developed resistance to EGFR tyrosine kinase inhibitors and showed expected results of their followed therapies. The median progression-free survival and median overall survival of patients treated with molecular targeted therapies were better than those of patients treated with chemoradiotherapy alone. CONCLUSIONS Our findings revealed the specific genomic profiles of patients older than 55 years with lung carcinoma and suggested that these old patients have been benefit from the genetic detection, which helped identify druggable mutations and distinguish resistance mechanisms.

Abstract
Simple Summary Genomic and immunologic tumor biomarker testing has dramatically changed the prognosis of patients treated for advanced/metastatic non-squamous non-small-cell lung cancer (aNSCLC). In older patients, targeted therapy and immunotherapy appear attractive considering better tolerance and increased survival. However, it remains unclear whether they have access to biomarker testing techniques in the same proportion as younger patients. The aim of our retrospective study was to compare the proportion of biomarker testing performed in non-squamous aNSCLC at diagnosis between patients aged ≥70 years old and their younger counterparts. There was no significant difference between the two age groups in terms of frequency of biomarker testing. Among old patients tested, 22% of them presented an EGFR mutation. Biomarker testing is a crucial diagnostic tool for older patients with aNSCLC in whom the newer anti-EGFR agents have shown clear benefits. It remains unclear whether older patients have access to therapy-predictive biomarker testing techniques in the same proportion as younger patients. This study aims to compare the proportion of biomarker testing performed in non-squamous aNSCLC at diagnosis between patients aged ≥70 years old and their younger counterparts. Methods: We conducted a retrospective analysis using the Epidemio-Strategy and Medical Economics (ESME) Advanced or Metastatic Lung Cancer Data Platform, a French multicenter real-life database. All patients with non-squamous aNSCLC diagnosed between 2015 and 2018 were selected. Biomarker testing corresponded to at least one molecular alteration and/or PD-L1 testing performed within 1 month before or 3 months after the aNSCLC diagnosis. Results: In total, 2848 patients aged ≥70 years and 6900 patients aged <70 years were included. Most patients were male. The proportion of current smokers at diagnosis was higher in the <70 years group (42% vs. 17%, p < 0.0001). There was no significant difference in the proportion of biomarker testing performed between the two groups (63% vs. 65%, p = 0.15). EGFR mutations were significantly more common in the older group (22% vs. 12%, p < 0.0001) and KRAS mutations significantly more frequent in the younger group (39% vs. 31% p < 0.0001). The distribution of other driver mutations (ALK, ROS1, BRAF V600E, HER2, and MET) was similar across age. In the multivariable analysis, factors independently associated with biomarker testing were gender, smoking status, history of COPD, stage at primary diagnosis, and histological type. Conclusions: Age is not a barrier to biomarker testing in patients with aNSCLC.

Abstract
Background The clinical outcomes of elderly patients with EGFR-mutated non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) who are treated with osimertinib have not been sufficiently evaluated. This study aimed to assess the efficacy and safety of osimertinib in elderly chemotherapy-naive patients with NSCLC harboring sensitive EGFR mutations. Patients and Methods We assessed the clinical effects of osimertinib as a first-line treatment for elderly NSCLC patients (≥75 years of age) with an exon 19 deletion or exon 21 L858R mutation in EGFR. All patients were administered 80 mg/day osimertinib as initial treatment. Results Forty-three patients (24 women and 19 men) with adenocarcinoma who were treated between August 2018 and July 2021 were included in this study; their median age was 79 years (range, 75-90 years). The overall objective response rate was 60.5%. The median progression-free survival (PFS) and time to treatment failure (TTF) of the entire patient population were 22.1 months and 14.6 months, respectively. The most common adverse event was rash acneiform (42%), followed by diarrhea (33%) and paronychia (28%); none of these were grades ≥3. Interstitial lung disease developed in 8 patients (18.6%); however, no treatment-related deaths occurred. Multivariate analysis identified performance status and disease stage as predictors of PFS and TTF. Conclusion Considering the findings of this study and despite an observed discordance between PFS and TTF, osimertinib appears to be an effective and safe treatment option in elderly patients with advanced NSCLC harboring sensitive EGFR mutations. To obtain conclusive results, further studies in a larger elderly population are warranted.

Abstract
Epidermal growth factor receptor tyrosine kinase inhibitors (EGFR-TKIs) are used for treating EGFR-mutated lung cancer, and osimertinib is effective in cases that acquired T790M mutations after treatment with the first- and second-generation EGFR-TKIs. However, no study has evaluated its safety and efficacy in older patients. This phase II trial (jRCTs071180002) evaluated osimertinib in T790M mutation-positive Japanese patients who were ≥75 years old and had experienced relapse or progression after previous EGFR-TKI treatment. Our previous report that enrolled 36 patients showed the overall response rate (58.3%) and disease control rate (97.2%), while this report describes the results for the progression-free survival (PFS), overall survival (OS), and safety analyses. The median PFS was 11.9 months (95% confidence interval (CI): 7.9-17.5), and the median OS was 22.0 months (95% CI: 16.0 months-not reached). The most frequent adverse events were anemia/hypoalbuminemia (27 patients, 75.0%), thrombocytopenia (21 patients, 58.3%), and paronychia/anorexia/diarrhea/neutropenia (15 patients, 41.7%). Pneumonitis was observed in four patients (11.1%), including two patients (5.6%) with Grade 3-4 pneumonitis. These results suggest that osimertinib was relatively safe and effective for non-small cell lung cancer that acquired T790M mutations after previous EGFR-TKI treatment, even among patients who were ≥75 years old.

Abstract
Aim: To determine real-world outcomes with first-line pembrolizumab monotherapy for metastatic non-small-cell lung cancer with PD-L1 tumor expression ≥50%. Methods: This retrospective study included adults with ECOG 0-1 initiating first-line pembrolizumab monotherapy on/after 24 October 2016 (EHR cohort) or from 1 December 2016 through 30 November 2017 (spotlight cohort) with ≥6-month follow-up. We estimated Kaplan-Meier overall survival (OS, both cohorts), and, for spotlight, real-world progression-free survival (rwPFS) by Kaplan-Meier and real-world tumor response (rwTR). Results: For 423 patients in the EHR cohort and 188 in spotlight, median OS was 18.9 months (95% CI: 14.9-25.5) and 19.1 months (12.6-not reached), respectively. For spotlight, median rwPFS was 6.8 months (5.3-8.1); rwTR of complete/partial response was 48% (41-56%). Conclusion: Observed OS, rwPFS and rwTR were consistent with clinical trial findings.

Abstract
PURPOSE OF REVIEW The process of aging involves biological changes that increases susceptibility for disease. In the aging lung disease IPF, GWAS studies identified genes associated with risk for disease. Recently, several of these genes were also found to be involved in risk for COPD or lung cancer. This review describes GWAS-derived risk genes for IPF that overlap with risk genes for lung cancer or COPD. RECENT FINDINGS Risk genes that overlap between aging lung diseases, include FAM13A, DSP and TERT. Most interestingly, disease predisposing alleles for IPF are opposite to those for COPD or lung cancer. Studies show that the alleles are associated with differential gene expression and with physiological traits in the general population. The opposite allelic effect sizes suggest the presence of trade-offs in the aging lung. For TERT, the trade-off involves cellular senescence versus proliferation and repair. For FAM13A and DSP, trade-offs may involve protection from noxious gases or tissue integrity. SUMMARY The overlap in risk genes in aging lung diseases provides evidence that processes associated with FAM13A, DSP and TERT are important for healthy aging. The opposite effect size of the disease risk alleles may represent trade-offs, for which a model involving an apicobasal gene expression gradient is presented.

Abstract
Respiratory diseases are common cause of disability in the elderly and are often concomitant with other non-respiratory medical conditions. Interventional pulmonology includes advanced diagnostic and therapeutic techniques, successfully employed for benign and malignant pulmonary diseases with a good safety profile. A few studies are available on the efficacy and the safety of these procedures (both bronchoscopic and pleural techniques) in the elderly. Paucity of data in these patients may support reluctant clinicians. We carried out a non-systematic review aimed at describing the scientific literature on interventional pulmonology techniques in elderly patients with comorbidities. We summarized indications, performance characteristics, and safety profile of bronchoscopic techniques in the elderly, comparing outcomes between older and younger patients. We explored the role of age on anesthesia and sedation protocols during endoscopic procedures and assessed the influence of comorbidities on bronchoscopic outcomes. This review underlines that older age is not a barrier for implementing interventional pulmonology for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes.

Abstract
MIR31HG, as the host gene of miR-31, has been suggested to involve in various cancer developments. However, little is known about the clinical significance and biological function of MIR31HG in lung adenocarcinoma. In our study, we found MIR31HG was highly expressed in lung adenocarcinoma tissues and cell lines, and associated with clinical staging, N classification, M classification and differentiated degree. Survival analysis showed MIR31HG high-expression was an independent unfavorable prognostic factor for lung adenocarcinoma patients. Loss-of-function studies suggested down-regulation of MIR31HG inhibited lung adenocarcinoma cells proliferation and blocked cell-cycle, but has no effect on cell apoptosis. There was no correlation between MIR31HG and miR-31 expression in lung adenocarcinoma tissues, down-regulation of MIR31HG had no effect on the expression of miR-31 in lung adenocarcinoma cells. In conclusion, MIR31HG high-expression is an independent unfavorable prognostic factor for lung adenocarcinoma patients, and serves an oncogenic role to modulate lung adenocarcinoma cells proliferation and cell-cycle.
