Abstract
De novo or acquired resistance to chemotherapy is ubiquitous in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC). SCO-101 is an oral compound that may counteract chemo-resistance by interacting with SRPK1, ABCG2 drug transporter, and liver enzyme UGT1A1. We first conducted preclinical experiments in paclitaxel-resistant PDAC cells to access the tumoricidal effects of SCO-101 or SRPK1-inhibitor alone or in combination with paclitaxel. Second, we enrolled 22 patients with non-resectable PDAC in a phase Ib trial to investigate safety and pharmaco-kinetics, and to establish maximum tolerated dose (MTD) by evaluation of dose-limiting toxicities (DLTs) during the first cycle of 80% dose gemcitabine (Gem) and nab-paclitaxel (Nab) together with increasing doses of SCO-101. In paclitaxel-resistant PDAC cells in vitro, a synergistic effect between SCO-101 and paclitaxel was demonstrated. In patients, daily doses for 6 days of SCO-101 resulted in a two- to threefold drug accumulation, and drug exposure was dose proportional. Treatment was well tolerated. Transiently increased blood bilirubin attributable to SCO-101 was observed in 12 cases (55%) and associated with jaundice in three patients. One and two DLTs, respectively, were observed at 150 and 250mg dosing-levels of SCO-101, and the MTD was determined to be 200 mg of SCO-101 daily for 6 days on a bi-weekly schedule together with 80% dose of Gem and Nab. Median progression-free and overall survival was 3.3 and 9.5 months, respectively. In PDAC, SCO-101 can be added to Gem and Nab with little and manageable toxicity. However, no clear added efficacy signal was observed of the combination. Trial registration number: NCT04652205 (Nov 29, 2020).

Abstract
BACKGROUND New onset diabetes (NOD) in people 50 years or older may indicate underlying pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC). The cumulative incidence of PDAC among people with NOD remains uncertain on a population-based level. METHODS This was a nationwide population-based retrospective cohort study based on the Danish national health registries. We investigated the 3-year cumulative incidence of PDAC in people 50 years or older with NOD. We further characterised people with pancreatic cancer-related diabetes (PCRD) in relation to demographic and clinical characteristics, including trajectories of routine biochemical parameters, using people with type 2 diabetes (T2D) as a comparator group. RESULTS During a 21-year observation period, we identified 353,970 people with NOD. Among them, 2105 people were subsequently diagnosed with pancreatic cancer within 3 years (0.59%, 95% CI [0.57-0.62%]). People with PCRD were older than people with T2D at diabetes diagnosis (median age 70.9 vs. 66.0 years (P < 0.001) and had a higher burden of comorbidities (P = 0.007) and more prescriptions of medications used to treat cardiovascular diseases (all P < 0.001). Distinct trajectories of HbA1c and plasma triglycerides were observed in PCRD vs. T2D, with group differences observed for up to three years prior to NOD diagnosis for HbA1c and up to two years for plasma triglyceride levels. CONCLUSIONS The 3-year cumulative incidence of PDAC is approximately 0.6% among people 50 years or older with NOD in a nationwide population-based setting. Compared to T2D, people with PCRD are characterised by distinct demographic and clinical profiles, including distinctive trajectories of plasma HbA1c and triglyceride levels.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma remains one of the major causes of cancer-related mortality globally. Unfortunately, current prognostic biomarkers are limited, and no predictive biomarkers exist. This study examined promoter hypermethylation of secreted frizzled-related protein 1 (phSFRP1) in cfDNA as a prognostic biomarker and predictor of treatment effect in patients with metastatic FOLFIRINOX-treated PDAC and locally advanced PDAC. METHODS We performed methylation-specific PCR of the SFRP1 genes' promoter region, based on bisulfite treatment. Survival was assessed as time-to-event data using the pseudo-observation method and analyzed with Kaplan-Meier curves and generalized linear regressions. RESULTS The study included 52 patients with FOLFIRINOX-treated metastatic PDAC. Patients with unmethylated (um) SFRP1 (n = 29) had a longer median overall survival (15.7 months) than those with phSFRP1 (6.8 months). In crude regression, phSFRP1 was associated with an increased risk of death of 36.9% (95% CI 12.0%-61.7%) and 19.8% (95% CI 1.9-37.6) at 12 and 24-months, respectively. In supplementary regression analysis, interaction terms between SFRP1 methylation status and treatment were significant, indicating reduced benefit of chemotherapy. Forty-four patients with locally advanced PDAC were included. phSFRP1 was associated with an increased risk of death at 24-months CONCLUSIONS: This indicates that phSFRP1 is a clinically useful prognostic biomarker in metastatic PDAC and possibly in locally advanced PDAC. Together with existing literature, results could indicate the value of cfDNA-measured phSFRP1 as a predictive biomarker of standard palliative chemotherapy in patients with metastatic PDAC. This could facilitate personalized treatment of patients with metastatic PDAC.

Abstract
BACKGROUND According to current evidence, the best treatment for fit patients with non-resectable pancreatic cancer (PC) is combination chemotherapy, whereas frail patients are recommended gemcitabine (Gem) monotherapy. Randomized controlled trials in colorectal cancer and a post-hoc analysis of gemcitabine and nab-paclitaxel (GemNab) in PC suggest, however, that reduced dose of combination chemotherapy may be feasible and more efficient compared to monotherapy in frail patients. The aim of this study is to investigate whether reduced dose GemNab is superior to full dose Gem in patients with resectable PC, who are not candidates for full dose combination chemotherapy in first line. METHODS The Danish Pancreas Cancer Group (DPCG)-01 trial is a national multicenter prospective randomized phase II trial. A total of 100 patients in ECOG performance status 0-2 with non-resectable PC, not candidate for full dose combination chemotherapy in first line, but eligible for full dose Gem, will be included. Patients are randomized 1:1 to either full dose Gem or GemNab in 80% of recommended dose. The primary endpoint is progression-free survival. Secondary endpoints are overall survival, overall response rate, quality of life, toxicity and rate of hospitalizations during treatment. The correlation between blood inflammatory markers, including YKL-40 and IL-6, circulating tumor DNA, and tissue biomarkers of resistance to chemotherapy and outcome will be explored. Finally, the study will include measures of frailty (G8, modified G8, and chair-stand-test) to assess whether scoring would enable a personalized allocation to different treatments or indicates a possibility for interventions. DISCUSSION Single-drug treatment with Gem has for frail patients with non-resectable PC been the main treatment option for more than thirty years, but the impact on outcome is modest. If improved results and sustained tolerability with reduced dose combination chemotherapy can be shown, this could change the future practice for this increasing group of patients. Abstract
Introduction Current prognostic blood-based biomarkers for pancreatic adenocarcinoma (PDAC) are limited. Recently, promoter hypermethylation of SFRP1 (phSFRP1) has been linked to poor prognosis in patients with gemcitabine-treated stage IV PDAC. This study explores the effects of phSFRP1 in patients with lower stage PDAC. Methods Based on a bisulfite treatment process, the promoter region of the SFRP1 gene was analyzed with methylation-specific PCR. Kaplan-Meier curves, log-rank tests, and generalized linear regression analysis were used to assess restricted mean survival time survival at 12 and 24 months. Results The study included 211 patients with stage I-II PDAC. The median overall survival of patients with phSFRP1 was 13.1 months, compared to 19.6 months in patients with unmethylated SFRP1 (umSFRP1). In adjusted analysis, phSFRP1 was associated with a loss of 1.15 months (95%CI -2.11, -0.20) and 2.71 months (95%CI -2.71, -0.45) of life at 12 and 24 months, respectively. There was no significant effect of phSFRP1 on disease-free or progression-free survival. In stage I-II PDAC, patients with phSFRP1 have worse prognoses than patients with umSFRP1. Discussion Results could indicate that the poor prognosis may be caused by reduced benefit from adjuvant chemotherapy. SFRP1 may help guide the clinician and be a possible target for epigenetically modifying drugs.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Pancreatic cancer has a 5-year survival of just 10%. Services such as palliative care and hospice are thus crucial in this population, yet their geographic accessibility and utilization remains unknown. AIM We studied the association between rurality of patient residence and the use of palliative care and hospice. DESIGN, SETTING, AND PARTICIPANTS Cohort study of continuously enrolled fee-for-service Medicare beneficiaries aged ≥65 diagnosed with incident pancreatic cancer between 04/01/2016-08/31/2018 and who died by 12/31/2018. RESULTS In this decedent cohort of 31,460 patients, 77% lived in metropolitan areas, 11% in micropolitan areas, 7% in small towns, and 5% in rural areas. Patient demographics were largely similar across rurality; however, the proportion of White, non-Hispanic patients and social deprivation was highest in rural areas and lowest in metropolitan areas. Overall, 33% of patients used any palliative care and 77% received hospice services. After risk adjustment, there were no statistically significant differences in the use of palliative care for patients residing in metropolitan versus micropolitan, small town, or rural areas. Patients in small town (OR = 0.77, 95% CI: 0.69-0.86) and rural areas (OR = 0.75, 95% CI: 0.66-0.85) had lower adjusted odds of receiving hospice care compared to patients in metropolitan areas. CONCLUSIONS The use of palliative care services captured in Medicare was low, representing either underutilization or failure to accurately measure the extent of services used. While the overall level of hospice enrollment was high, patients in rural communities had relatively lower use of hospice services compared to those in metropolitan areas.

Abstract
INTRODUCTION Although older adults aged ≥75 years comprise a substantial proportion of patients diagnosed with pancreatic cancer (PC), the effectiveness of chemotherapy in older adults with PC remains to be established. MATERIALS AND METHODS This retrospective study examined the effectiveness of chemotherapy according to age in older adult patients with metastatic PC. We used a large database that combined three data sources (the hospital-based cancer registry database, Osaka Cancer Registry, and Japan's Diagnosis Procedure Combination) and extracted data from patients pathologically diagnosed with metastatic PC between 2013 and 2015 in 31 designated cancer care hospitals in Japan. Propensity score matching (PSM) was used to identify a cohort of patients with similar backgrounds. The effect of chemotherapy on overall survival (OS) was analyzed using the log-rank test. RESULTS Compared with 687 younger patients (<75 years old), 276 older adult patients had significant impairments in activities of daily living and poorer prognoses (6.8 vs. 4.1 months, p < 0.001), with a lower frequency of chemotherapy (81.5% vs. 55.1%; p < 0.001). PSM of older adult patients showed that chemotherapy significantly contributed to a better prognosis (best supportive care, 2.6 months vs. chemotherapy, 5.8 months, p < 0.001). Age group analysis with PSM of five-year age ranges revealed that the median OS was significantly longer in the chemotherapy group among older adult patients aged <85 years. DISCUSSION Chemotherapy provides a survival benefit in older adult patients with metastatic PC, and patients aged <85 years could be promising candidates for chemotherapy.

Abstract
Background FOLFIRINOX chemotherapy is the current Dutch standard of care for locally advanced (LAPC) and metastatic pancreatic cancer (PDAC) patients with good performance status. The objective of this study was to evaluate real-world response rates and survival in advanced PDAC and to assess conditional survival after FOLFIRINOX. Methods A multicenter, retrospective cohort study was conducted in four hospitals in the Netherlands. Consecutive patients with LAPC or metastatic PDAC, treated with FOLFIRINOX, were included. Results Between 2012 and 2018, 284 patients were included: n = 136 with LAPC and n = 148 with metastatic PDAC. Objective response rates were similar in both the groups: 14.0% in LAPC and 18.2% in metastatic patients. The disease control rate was higher in LAPC patients (77.2%) compared to metastatic PDAC (51.4%, P < 0.001). Median overall survival (OS) in LAPC patients was 12.7 months (95% CI 11.4–14.1 months). Their 2-year survival probability increased from 14% to 26% one year after the completion of FOLFIRINOX. Median OS in metastatic PDAC patients was 8.1 months (95% CI 6.5–9.6 months); 2-year survival probability increased from 10% to 29% after one year. Discussion. Our study provides real-world estimates of response rates, survival, and conditional survival in patients with advanced PDAC treated with FOLFIRINOX. These results are useful for patient counseling and clinical decision making.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE To describe the use of healthcare prior to a diagnosis of pancreatic cancer in Denmark. DESIGN A population-based cohort study using prospectively recorded data from Danish National Health Registries. SETTING Danish general practice and hospitals. SUBJECTS A total of 5926 patients diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in 2012-2018 and 59,260 matched references without pancreatic cancer from the Danish general population. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES The monthly frequency of healthcare use (contacts and tests in general practice and contacts and diagnostic investigations in hospitals) during the 12 months preceding the pancreatic cancer diagnosis and a corresponding index date assigned to the references. RESULTS Compared to the references, the patients had increased contacts and diagnostic tests, especially blood glucose testing, in general practice from 7 to 12 months before diagnosis. Hospital contacts and diagnostic imaging increased from 5 months before the diagnosis. CONCLUSIONS The pattern of increasing healthcare contacts before a diagnosis of pancreatic cancer may represent a window of opportunity to diagnose pancreatic cancer earlier. The increased use of blood glucose test in general practice may represent an important sign of an underlying disease. Key pointsPancreatic cancer is a rapidly progressing and highly lethal disease. Focus on early diagnosis is essential to improve the prognosis.Patients with pancreatic cancer had increased number of healthcare contacts from 7 months before the diagnosis.Patients with pancreatic cancer had increased number of blood glucose tests taken throughout almost the entire year before the diagnosis.The results may indicate that a window of opportunity exists to diagnose pancreatic cancer earlier.

Abstract
AIM Academic and high volume hospitals have better outcome for pancreatic cancer (PC) surgery, but there are no reports on oncological treatment. We aimed to determine the influence of facility types on overall survival (OS) after treatment with chemotherapy for inoperable PC. MATERIAL AND METHODS 2,657 patients were treated in Denmark from 2012 to 2018 and registered in the Danish Pancreatic Cancer Database. Facilities were classified as either secondary oncological units or comprehensive, tertiary referral cancer centers. RESULTS The average yearly number of patients seen at the four tertiary facilities was 71, and 31 at the four secondary facilities. Patients at secondary facilities were older, more frequently had severe comorbidity and lived in non-urban municipalities. As compared to combination chemotherapy, monotherapy with gemcitabine was used more often (59%) in secondary facilities than in tertiary (34%). The unadjusted median OS was 7.7 months at tertiary and 6.1 months at secondary facilities. The adjusted hazard ratio (HR) of 1.16 (confidence interval 1.07-1.27) demonstrated an excess risk of death for patients treated at secondary facilities, which disappeared when taking type of chemotherapy used into account. Hence, more use of combination chemotherapy was associated with the observed improved OS of patients treated at tertiary facilities. Declining HR's per year of first treatment indicated improved outcomes with time, however the difference among facility types remained significant. DISCUSSION Equal access to modern combination chemotherapy at all facilities on a national level is essential to ensure equality in treatment results.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE This study aimed to investigate the first point of contact in patients diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, and to study factors associated with the GP's suspicion of cancer, Cancer Patient Pathway (CPP) referral and long diagnostic interval. DESIGN Cross-sectional study combining register and survey data. PATIENTS Patients with incident pancreatic cancer recorded in the Danish National Patient Register (n = 303). MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES The patient's first point of symptoms presentation, GP's cancer suspicion, CPP referral and diagnostic interval. RESULTS General practice was the first point of contact for 85.5% of the population. At the first consultation, cancer was suspected in 32.7% and 22.9% were referred to a CPP. The GPs were more likely to suspect cancer or serious illness in patients aged >70 years (prevalence rate ratio (PRR) 1.34, 95% CI 1.09-1.66) and among patients with high comorbidity (PRR 1.23, 95% CI 1.04-1.47). A CPP referral was less likely among patients with low education. The median diagnostic interval was 39 days (interquartile range: 15-72). When the GP initially did not suspect cancer, the likelihood of longer diagnostic interval increased. CONCLUSION The majority of patients with pancreatic cancer began their diagnostic route in general practice. Diagnosing pancreatic cancer swiftly in general practice was challenging; the GP did often not initially suspect cancer or refer to a CPP and several of the patient characteristics were associated with the GPs initial suspicion of cancer or CPP referral. Thus, there may be room for improvements in the diagnostics of pancreatic cancer in general practice.Key pointsPatients with pancreatic cancer have a poor prognosis, as pancreatic cancer is often diagnosed in late stage.The majority of patients with pancreatic cancer began their diagnostic process in general practice.General practitioners (GPs) suspected cancer at the first consultation in one out of three patients with pancreatic cancer; more often in older and comorbid patients.The GPs suspicion of cancer was associated with urgent referral and shorter time to diagnosis.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Despite national recommendations, disparities in specialised palliative care (SPC) admittance have been reported. The aims of this study were to characterize SPC admittance in patients with pancreatic cancer in relation to region of residence and age. METHOD The data sources were two nationwide databases: Danish Pancreatic Cancer Database and Danish Palliative Care Database. The study population included patients (18+ years old) diagnosed with pancreatic cancer from 2011 to 2018. We investigated admittance to SPC, and time from diagnosis to referral to SPC and first contact with SPC to death by region of residence and age. RESULTS In the study period (N = 5851) admittance to SPC increased from 44 to 63%. The time from diagnosis to referral to SPC increased in the study period and overall, the median time was 67 days: three times higher in Southern (92 days) than in North Denmark Region. The median number of days from diagnosis to referral to SPC was lower in patients ≥70 years (59 days) vs patients < 70 years (78 days), with regional differences between the age groups. Region of residence and age were associated with admittance to SPC; highest for patients in North Denmark Region vs Capital Region (OR = 2.03 (95%CI 1.67-2.48)) and for younger patients (< 60 years vs 80+ years) (OR = 2.54 (95%CI 2.05-3.15)). The median survival from admittance to SPC was 35 days: lowest in Southern (30 days) and highest in North Denmark Region (41 days). The median number of days from admittance to SPC to death was higher in patients < 70 years (40 days) vs ≥ 70 years (31 days), with a difference between age groups in the regions of 1-14 days. CONCLUSIONS From 2011 to 2018 more patients with pancreatic cancer than previously were admitted to SPC, with marked differences between regions of residence and age groups. The persistently short period of time the patients are in SPC raises concern that early integrated palliative care is not fully integrated into the Danish healthcare system for patients with pancreatic cancer, with the risk that the referral comes so late that the patients do not receive the full benefit of the SPC.

Abstract
Simple Summary Pancreatic adenocarcinoma (PDAC) is a disease with an incredibly grim prognosis. Most patients die within one year of receiving the diagnosis. There are currently very few tools to help the clinician decide between treatment options and evaluate prognosis at an individual level. The aim of the current study was to assess the effect of promoter hypermethylation of secreted frizzled-related protein 1 (phSFRP1) as an independent prognostic blood-based biomarker in gemcitabine-treated patients with advanced PDAC. The study was conducted as a combined discovery and validation study. Analysis in both cohorts confirmed that patients with phSFRP1 had overall poorer survival compared to those without hypermethylation. Thus, phSFRP1 shows promise as an independent prognostic biomarker in this patient group and can hopefully aid the clinician and patient find the correct balance between quantity and quality of life. Abstract No reliable predictive blood-based biomarkers are available for determining survival from pancreatic adenocarcinoma (PDAC). This combined discovery and validation study examines promoter hypermethylation (ph) of secreted frizzled-related protein 1 (SFRP1) in plasma-derived cell-free DNA as an independent prognostic marker for survival and Gemcitabine effectiveness in patients with stage IV PDAC. We conducted methylation-specific polymerase chain reaction analysis of the promoter region of the SFRP1 gene, based on bisulfite treatment. Survival was analyzed with Kaplan–Meier curves, log-rank test, and Cox regression. The discovery cohort included 40 patients, 25 receiving Gem. Gem-treated patients with phSFRP1 had a shorter median overall survival (mOS) (4.4 months) than unmethylated patients (11.6 months). Adjusted Cox-regression yielded a hazard rate (HR) of 3.48 (1.39–8.70). The validation cohort included 58 Gem-treated patients. Patients with phSFRP1 had a shorter mOS (3.2 months) than unmethylated patients (6.3 months). Adjusted Cox regression yielded an HR of 3.53 (1.85–6.74). In both cohorts, phSFRP1 was associated with poorer survival in Gem-treated patients. This may indicate that tumors with phSFRP1 are more aggressive and less sensitive to Gem treatment. This knowledge may facilitate tailored treatment of patients with stage IV PDAC. Further studies are planned to examine phSFRP1 in more intensive chemotherapy regimens.

Abstract
Background The prognosis of pancreatic cancer (PC) is extremely poor, and most patients with metastatic PC still receive palliative care. Here, we report the efficacy and safety of FOLFIRINOX (oxaliplatin, irinotecan, leucovorin, 5-fluorouracil) in the treatment of metastatic PC. Methods We searched PubMed, Web of Science, EBSCO, and Cochrane library databases for articles that described efficacy and safety of FOLFIRINOX in patients with metastatic PC, from January 1996 to July 2020. The primary outcomes targeted included overall survival (OS) and progression-free survival (PFS). Results We found that FOLFIRINOX could directly improve OS rate of patients with metastatic PC (HR 0.76, 95% Cl 0.67–0.86, p<0.001) but had no benefit on PFS. Results from subgroup analyses showed that FOLFIRINOX had superior benefits than monochemotherapy (HR 0.59, 95% Cl 0.52–0.67, p<0.001), followed by FOLFIRINOX versus combination chemotherapy (HR 0.76, 95% Cl 0.61–0.95, p<0.001). The result of FOLFIRINOX versus nab-paclitaxel + gemcitabine had no benefit (HR 0.91, 95% Cl 0.82–1.02, p>0.05). The main adverse events (AEs) targeted hematological toxicity and the gastrointestinal system, and included febrile neutropenia, a reduction in white blood cells and appetite, as well as diarrhea. Conclusion These findings indicated that FOLFIRINOX has potential benefits for the prognosis of patients with metastatic PC. Furthermore, there is no difference between the regimen of FOLFIRINOX and nab-paclitaxel + gemcitabine in this study. The application of FOLFIRINOX should be according to the actual situation of the patients and the experience of the doctors. Graphical abstract ![]()

Patterns of Palliative Chemotherapy and Survival in Patients With Pancreatic Cancer Focusing on Age: A Nationwide Real-World Danish Registry Study. Pancreas 2021; 50:685-695. Abstract
OBJECTIVES The aim of this study was to identify patterns of palliative chemotherapy (CTh) and the associated overall survival (OS) in patients with pancreatic cancer, with specific focus on age. METHODS Between May 1, 2011, and April 30, 2016, 4260 patients were registered in the Danish Pancreatic Cancer Database. The 1715 patients receiving palliative CTh were retrieved. Age was grouped into less than 70, 70 to less than 75, and 75 years or more. RESULTS Of the 1715 patients receiving first-line CTh, 586 (34%) underwent second-line CTh and 151 (9%) third-line CTh. First-line gemcitabine resulted in a significant worse survival compared with combination CTh, hazard ratio 1.51. For combination CTh, OS differed between the age groups, P < 0.01. The median OS in the less than 70 years (n = 547), 70 to less than 75 years (n = 163), and 75 years or more (n = 67) groups were 9.3, 9.6, and 7.2 months, respectively. No differences in survival were observed among patients receiving first-line gemcitabine (P = 0.35). CONCLUSIONS Our findings are useful in treatment-related decision making in patients with pancreatic cancer. A significant survival benefit was observed for all patients after first-line combination CTh. The effect of combination CTh was most prominent among patients aged less than 75 years. By age, no differences in survival were observed in those receiving gemcitabine.

Abstract
Capuramycin displays a narrow spectrum of antibacterial activity by targeting bacterial translocase I (MraY). In our program of development of new N-acetylglucosaminephosphotransferase1 (DPAGT1) inhibitors, we have identified that a capuramycin phenoxypiperidinylbenzylamide analogue (CPPB) inhibits DPAGT1 enzyme with an IC50 value of 200 nM. Despite a strong DPAGT1 inhibitory activity, CPPB does not show cytotoxicity against normal cells and a series of cancer cell lines. However, CPPB inhibits migrations of several solid cancers including pancreatic cancers that require high DPAGT1 expression in order for tumor progression. DPAGT1 inhibition by CPPB leads to a reduced expression level of Snail but does not reduce E-cadherin expression level at the IC50 (DPAGT1) concentration. CPPB displays a strong synergistic effect with paclitaxel against growth-inhibitory action of a patient-derived pancreatic adenocarcinoma, PD002: paclitaxel (IC50: 1.25 μM) inhibits growth of PD002 at 0.0024-0.16 μM in combination with 0.10-2.0 μM CPPB (IC50: 35 μM).
