Abstract
INTRODUCTION Clinical guidelines are crucial for assisting health professionals to make correct clinical decisions. However, manual clinical guidelines are not accessible, and this increases the workload. So, a mobile-based clinical guideline application is needed to provide real-time information access. Hence, this study aimed to assess health professionals' intention to accept mobile-based clinical guideline applications and verify the unified theory of acceptance and technology utilization model. METHODS Institutional-based cross-sectional study design was used among 803 study participants. The sample size was determined based on structural equation model parameter estimation criteria with stratified random sampling. Amos version 23 software was used for analysis. Internal consistency of latent variable items, and convergent and divergent validity, were evaluated using composite reliability, AVE, and a cross-loading matrix. Model fitness of the data was assessed based on a set of criteria, and it was achieved. P-value < 0.05 was considered for assessing the formulated hypothesis. RESULTS Effort expectancy and social influence had a significant effect on health professionals' attitudes, with path coefficients of (β = 0.61, P-value < 0.01), and (β = 0.510, P-value < 0.01) respectively. Performance expectancy, facilitating condition, and attitude had significant effects on health professionals' acceptance of mobile-based clinical guideline applications with path coefficients of (β = 0.37, P-value < 0.001), (β = 0.44, P-value < 0.001) and (β = 0.57, P-value < 0.05) respectively. Effort expectancy and social influence were mediated by attitude and had a significant partial relationship with health professionals' acceptance of mobile-based clinical guideline application with standardized estimation coefficients of (β = 0.22, P-value = 0.027), and (β = 0.19, P-value = 0.031) respectively. All the latent variables accounted for 57% of health professionals' attitudes, and latent variables with attitudes accounted for 63% of individuals' acceptance of mobile-based clinical guideline applications. CONCLUSIONS The unified theory of acceptance and use of the technology model was a good model for assessing individuals' acceptance of mobile-based clinical guidelines applications. So, enhancing health professionals' attitudes, and computer literacy through training are needed. Mobile application development based on user requirements is critical for technology adoption, and people's support is also important for health professionals to accept and use the application.

Abstract
Open AI's ChatGPT has emerged as a popular AI language model that can engage in natural language conversations with users. Based on a qualitative research approach using semistructured interviews with 32 ChatGPT users from India, this study examined the factors influencing users' acceptance and use of ChatGPT using the unified theory of acceptance and usage of technology (UTAUT) model. The study results demonstrated that the four factors of UTAUT, along with two extended constructs, i.e. perceived interactivity and privacy concerns, can explain users' interaction and engagement with ChatGPT. The study also found that age and experience can moderate the impact of various factors on the use of ChatGPT. The theoretical and practical implications of the study were also discussed.

Abstract
Global e-commerce is growing rapidly during the COVID pandemic. Previous research on customers' online shopping decisions rarely considered social distancing. To investigate customers' continued intention toward online purchases while socially isolated, we propose a framework based on the UTAUT model. A survey of 330 valid samples was collected through an online survey among internet users during a period of social distancing in Indonesia. Hypotheses were validated using a structural equation modeling approach. The results showed that social contingency is the most influential factor on customers' intention to repurchase online under social restriction conditions, followed by customer perceived value and other significant factors. The findings contribute to providing a new understanding of customers' online repurchase intentions when they are in a contingency situation.

Abstract
PurposeBased on the cognition–affect–conation pattern, this study explores the factors that affect the intention to use facial recognition services (FRS). The study adopts the driving factor perspective to examine how network externalities influence FRS use intention through the mediating role of satisfaction and the barrier factor perspective to analyze how perceived privacy risk affects FRS use intention through the mediating role of privacy cynicism.Design/methodology/approachThe data collected from 478 Chinese FRS users are analyzed via partial least squares-based structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM).FindingsThe study produces the following results. (1) FRS use intention is motivated directly by the positive affective factor of satisfaction and the negative affective factor of privacy cynicism. (2) Satisfaction is affected by cognitive factors related to network externalities. Perceived complementarity and perceived compatibility, two indirect network externalities, positively affect satisfaction, whereas perceived critical mass, a direct network externality, does not significantly affect satisfaction. In addition, perceived privacy risk generates privacy cynicism. (3) Resistance to change positively moderates the relationship between privacy cynicism and intention to use FRS.Originality/valueThis study extends knowledge on people's use of FRS by exploring affect- and cognitive-based factors and finding that the affect-based factors (satisfaction and privacy cynicism) play fully mediating roles in the relationship between the cognitive-based factors and use intention. This study also expands the cognitive boundaries of FRS use by exploring the functional condition between affect-based factors and use intention, that is, the moderating role of resistance to use.

Abstract
Introduction As the proportion of the world's elderly population continues to increase, wearable devices can provide ideas for solving a series of problems caused by population aging. Therefore, it is of great significance for the development of intelligent elderly care and the improvement of the quality of elderly care services to explore the factors that influence the intention of elderly users to accept wearable devices. Methods An improved unified theory of acceptance and use of technology (UTAUT) model is constructed from the perspective of elderly individuals, and new parameters are added, including four factors related to wearable devices, including performance expectancy, perceived cost, hedonic value and aesthetic appeal, and three factors related to elderly individuals, including personal physiological conditions, health anxiety and personal innovativeness in information technology. The data analysis was accomplished with the partial least square regression structural equation modeling. Results The findings of this study revealed that performance expectancy, perceived cost, hedonic value and aesthetic appeal all have significant impact on elderly users' intention to use wearable devices. Furthermore, personal innovativeness in information technology, personal physiological condition, and intention to use all have significant impact on elderly users' actual usage behavior of wearable devices. However, there is no obvious relationship between health anxiety and actual usage behavior. Discussion Elderly adults' attention to wearable devices plays an important role in the development of the wearable device-related industry chain, which provides management suggestions for stakeholders.

Abstract
An aging population is considered a major challenge for governments and healthcare planners. eHealth is perceived as a tool with the potential to ensure efficient healthcare. Moreover, eHealth services may help older adults to maintain longer life in good health. However, there are still several challenges to the large-scale implementation of these solutions among older adults. Therefore, the aim of this study was to explore determinants of the acceptance and use of eHealth by older adults in Poland. Data was collected by the questionnaire, and the UTAUT model was employed. This research covered older adults aged 60 to 69. The analysis of the results using nested regression analysis showed that performance expectancy has a strong significance on the older adults' acceptance and use of eHealth, followed by effort expectancy and social influence. In contrast, facilitating conditions do not have a significant influence on the acceptance and use of eHealth. These findings may also be beneficial for the government to provide relative policies to support the development and usage of eHealth services as well as for the healthcare devices industry to design more older adult-oriented products.

Abstract
In the information age, online teaching has become an essential field of educational development. The work aims to analyze the factors influencing learning intention of Overseas Students (OSs) during the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19). The work adopts the method of Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT), and implements the influencing factor model of open source software online Chinese learning (OCL). Specifically, the OSs of five colleges and universities in Fuzhou are taken as the research objects. The data is collected through questionnaire survey (QS) and Spss25.0 to analyze the reliability and validity of the data, and Amos23.0 is used to validate the model. The results present that autonomy and self-discipline have become the necessary factors affecting open source software OCL, and personal interests and hobbies are the main factors affecting open source software OCL. Meantime, perceived interest, self-learning management, effort expectation, community influence, performance expectation, and promotion conditions have a significant positive impact on the willingness to promote Chinese learning, and their influence degree increases in turn. The conclusion can provide a novel online teaching and learning strategy for open source software under the COVID-19 situation.

Abstract
This research adopted the unified theory of acceptance and use of technology (UTAUT) to emphasize the use of the PX Pay mobile payment app for PX Mart, the most popular supermarket in Taiwan, and examine the degree of involvement as a moderator. The influence of factors related to PX Mart's target customer groups on their shopping intentions and usage behaviors were discussed, with subsequent benefits and optimization directions. This study indicated the following results. First, performance expectations, ease-of-use expectations, and social impact enhance consumers' behavioral intention and behavioral intention significantly influence usage behavior. Second, gender has no significant moderating effect on the proposed model. Third, age has a moderating effect from performance expectations and ease-of-use expectations, social influence on behavioral intention. Fourth, use is more significantly affected by perceived stakeholders for customers over age 50 than for those age 30-39. Fifth, the degree of involvement significantly affects the relationship between behavioral intention and usage behavior in terms of social influence and facilitating conditions effects. Finally, we provided academic and practical implications and make contributions to both the online payment industry and academia.

Abstract
The COVID-19 pandemic has created a new reality for consumers all around the globe. To cope, users of digital technologies have faced the necessity of adopting and using specific technologies practically overnight. They are doing this under the condition of social isolation, all while facing the fear of catching the disease. The purpose of the paper is to study the way unexpected circumstances cause disruptions in existing theoretical models and their implications for the post-COVID-19 era. Therefore, the paper examines the unified theory of acceptance and use of technology (UTAUT) model under the circumstances of the COVID-19 pandemic and social isolation, and it identifies herd behavior as a possible new mechanism affecting behavioral intention under these unique decision-making circumstances. Behavioral intention toward online shopping was analyzed using data from 420 individuals aged 60 and older who present an increasingly important potential market for electronic commerce and who are particularly affected by COVID-19. The main results show that performance expectancy still has the most important influence on behavioral intention, whereas the impact of social influence was not supported under these conditions. Rather, herd behavior was identified as particularly influential for behavioral intention. Based on the study results, the option to reconsider the social influence factor in the UTAUT model and its possible complementary mechanisms are discussed.

Abstract
PurposeThe public sector use of the internet of Things (IoT) technology is an emerging field with a potential for a variety of institutional applications in the fields of information gathering and policy implementation to establish resilience for modern society. In this context, we aim to investigate the success factors which can positively influence the continuous usage intention of IoT service with the mediation effect of perceived public value.Design/methodology/approachA conceptual model based on the strong literature and theoretical background is tailored to provide factors for IoT services success in the public sector. A quantitative survey was conducted through 381 citizens using IoT services to validate the proposed conceptual model using structural equation modeling approach in order to examine the influence of identified constructs on the continuous usage intention.FindingsThe results highlighted that the proposed model successfully accounted for about 59% perceived variance in public value creation and 63% perceived variance in citizens' continuous usage intention. IoT services success is best dignified by the perceptions of citizens who use the services, therefore, this study identifies the positive role of digital society affinity in context of social sustainability and it climaxes that the real value of IoT in public sector comes from establishment of services on top of the service delivery and that's where the public value is going to be created.Practical implicationsThe use of IoT technology in public services will fetch much benefit to the citizens as well as to the government. The study findings are significant in identifying good practices for generating public value in digital society affinity.Originality/valueThe integrated conceptual model explores the driving factors of citizens' inclination towards IoT technology in a social context. Through this study, we can analyze the role of perceived public value in enhancing the citizens' engagement with IoT services. The government policymakers and ICT managers take help from this study to designing IoT public services with making the government more responsive to citizens.
