Curcumin nanocochleates: Use of design of experiments, solid state characterization, in vitro apoptosis and cytotoxicity against breast cancer MCF-7 cells

Oral self-nanoemulsifying drug delivery systems for enhancing bioavailability and anticancer potential of fosfestrol: In vitro and in vivo characterization

PURPOSE

The objective of the current research work was to fabricate a fosfestrol (FST)-loaded self-nanoemulsifying drug delivery system (SNEDDS) to escalate the oral solubility and bioavailability and thereby the effectiveness of FST against prostate cancer.

METHODS

32 full factorial design was employed, and the effect of lipid and surfactant mixtures on percentage transmittance, time required for self-emulsification, and drug release were studied. The optimized solid FST-loaded SNEDDS (FSTNE) was characterized for in vitro anticancer activity and Caco-2 cell permeability, and in vivo pharmacokinetic parameters.

RESULTS

Using different ratios of surfactant and co-surfactant (Km) a pseudo ternary phase diagram was constructed. Thirteen liquid nano emulsion formulations (LNE-1 to LNE-13) were formulated at Km = 3:1. LNE-9 exhibited a higher % transmittance (99.25 ± 1.82 %) and a lower self-emulsification time (24 ± 0.32 s). No incompatibility was observed in FT-IR analysis. Within 20 min the solidified FST loaded LNE-9 (FSTNE) formulation showed almost complete drug release (98.20 ± 1.30 %) when compared to marketed formulation (40.36 ± 2.8 %), and pure FST (32 ± 3.3 %) in 0.1 N HCl. In pH 6.8 phosphate buffer, the release profiles are found moderately higher than in 0.1 N HCl. FSTNE significantly (P < 0.001) inhibited the PC-3 prostate cell proliferation and also caused apoptosis (P < 0.001) compared to FST. The in vitro Caco-2 cell permeability study results revealed 4.68-fold higher cell permeability of FSTNE than FST. Remarkably, 4.5-fold rise in bioavailability was observed after oral administration of FSTNE than plain FST.

CONCLUSIONS

FSTNE remarkably enhanced the in vitro anticancer activity and Caco-2 cell permeability, and in vivo bioavailability of FST. Thus, FST-SNEDDS could be utilized as a potential carrier for effective oral treatment of prostate cancer.

Curcumin and quercetin loaded nanocochleates gel formulation for localized application in breast cancer therapy

After surgical excision of breast cancer, chemotherapy is recommended to eradicate any undiagnosed cancer cells and lower the likelihood of the cancer recurring. Curcumin and quercetin are two old flavonoid medicines used to treat breast cancer. Besides ambient popularity, they possess poor water solubility and poor bioavailability, limiting their usefulness. Hence to overcome these limitations, the present research aims to formulate curcumin and quercetin-loaded nanocochleates and convert them into a gel for localized application to enhance the breast cancer treatment. In this research article, we have developed curcumin and quercetin-loaded nanocochleates gel for breast cancer adjuvant therapy. The particle size, zeta potential encapsulation efficiency, and drug release of quercetin nanocochleates were 327 nm, -16.8 mV, 83.28 %, and 80.23 %, respectively, and that of curcumin nanocochleates were 328.6 nm, -15.0 mV, 82.30 %, and 77.19 %, respectively. The quercetin and curcumin-loaded nanocochleates gel was further characterized for pH, spreadability, and viscosity. The in vitro drug release behaviour of gel is controlled compared to plain quercetin and quercetin nanocochleates. The release of quercetin and curcumin from nanocochleates gel was 78.19 %, and 77.19 %, respectively. The MTT assay results showed quercetin and curcumin-loaded nanocochleates have maximum inhibition compared to control, quercetin alone, quercetin liposomes, and quercetin nanocochleates. Thus the quercetin and curcumin combination nanocochleates gel formulation can be a better option for the localized application in the breast cancer treatment.

Nanostructured Lipid Carrier-Based Gel for Repurposing Simvastatin in Localized Treatment of Breast Cancer: Formulation Design, Development, and In Vitro and In Vivo Characterization

Simvastatin (SMV) is noticed as a repurposed candidate to be effective against breast cancer (BC). However, poor solubility, dose-limiting toxicities, and side effects are critical hurdles in its use against BC. The above drawbacks necessitate the site-specific (localized) delivery of SMV via suitable nanocarriers. Therefore, the present study intended to develop SMV nanostructured lipid carrier (NLC)-based gel using carbopol-934 as a gelling agent to achieve local delivery and improve patient compliance while combating BC. The SMV NLCs were fabricated by melt-emulsification ultrasonication technique using stearic acid as solid lipid, olive oil (OO) as liquid lipid, tween 20 as a surfactant, and PEG-200 as a co-surfactant, and optimized by Box-Behnken design. The optimized SMV-loaded NLCs displayed % entrapment efficiency of 91.66 ± 5.2% and particle size of 182 ± 11.9 nm. The pH of NLC-based gels prepared using a 2.0% w/v of carbopol-934 was found in the range of 5.3-5.6 while the viscosity was in the range of 5.1-6.6 Pa.S. Besides, NLC-based gels exhibited higher and controlled SMV release (71-76%) at pH 6.8 and (78-84%) at pH 5.5 after 48 h than SMV conventional gel (37%) at both pH 6.8 and 5.5 after 48 h. The ex vivo permeation of SMV from NLC-based gel was 3.8 to 4.5 times more than conventional gel. Notably, SMV-loaded NLCs displayed ameliorated cytotoxicity than plain SMV against MCF-7 and MDA-MB-231 BC cells. No substantial difference was noticed in the cytotoxicity of NLC-based gels and pure SMV against both cell lines. The SMV NLC-based gel exhibited the absence of skin irritation in vivo in the mice following topical application. In addition, the histopathological study revealed no alteration in the mice skin anatomy. Furthermore, the SMV-loaded NLCs and NLC-based gels were stable for 6 months at refrigerator conditions (4°C ± 2°C). Thus, the present research confirms that NLC-based gel can be a safe, efficacious, and novel alternative to treat BC.

Formulation Optimization and Evaluation of Nanocochleate Gel of Famciclovir for the Treatment of Herpes Zoster

BACKGROUND

Herpes zoster is a viral infection triggered due to the reactivation of the varicella- zoster virus in the posterior dorsal root ganglion. Herpes zoster infections occur mostly in the facial, cervical and thoracic regions of the body, beginning with pain and resulting in the vesicular eruption. Recently, this infection was observed during the COVID-19 pandemic and also after the induction of mRNA-based vaccine for coronavirus at an extended level. Nanocochleates are cylindrical (cigarshape) microstructure lipid-based versatile carriers for drug delivery systems. Famciclovir is an antiviral agent employed for the treatment of Herpes zoster infections.

OBJECTIVE

The current research patent aims to develop a novel nanocochleate gel of Famciclovir for the treatment of herpes zoster infections with higher efficacy.

METHODS

The interaction studies using FTIR were carried out and indicated no such interactions between the drug and lipids. The nanocochleates were developed using hydrogel, trapping, liposome before cochleate dialysis, direct calcium dialysis and binary aqueous-aqueous emulsion methods, respectively. The 3² Box-Behnken design was applied by considering the concentration of lipids (phosphatidylcholine and cholesterol) and speed of rotation as independent factors, whereas particle size and entrapment efficiency as dependable factors.

RESULTS

The developed nanocochleates were estimated for the particle size (276.3 nm), zeta potential (-16.7 mV), polydispersity index (0.241), entrapment efficiency (73.87±0.19%) and in vitro diffusion release (>98.8% in 10 h). The optimized batch was further converted into the topical gel using carbopol 940 as a gelling agent. The prepared gel was smooth, rapidly spreadable with a viscosity (5998.72 cp), drug content (95.3%) and remained stable during stability studies.

CONCLUSION

A novel nanocochleate gel of Famciclovir was successfully developed for the treatment of infections associated with Herpes Zoster with sustained release action.

A Comparative Study of Quercetin-Loaded Nanocochleates and Liposomes: Formulation, Characterization, Assessment of Degradation and In Vitro Anticancer Potential

Quercetin, a flavonoid, has antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties and the potential to inhibit the proliferation of cancer, but its therapeutic efficacy is lowered due to poor solubility and bioavailability. Quercetin-loaded nanocochleates (QN) were developed using a trapping method by the addition of calcium ions into preformed negatively charged liposomes (QL) prepared by a thin-film hydration method. Liposomes were optimized by varying the concentration of Dimyristoyl phosphatidyl glycerol and quercetin by applying D-optimal factorial design using Design-Expert^® software. Stable rods were observed using TEM with an average particle size, zeta potential and encapsulation efficiency of 502 nm, −18.52 mV and 88.62%, respectively, for QN which were developed from spherical QL showing 111.06 nm, −40.33 mV and 74.2%, respectively. In vitro release of quercetin from QN and QL was extended to 24 h. Poor bioavailability of quercetin is due to its degradation in the liver, so to mimic in vivo conditions, the degradation of quercetin released from QL and QN was studied in the presence of rat liver homogenate (S9G) and results revealed that QN, due to its unique structure, i.e., series of rolled up solid layers, shielded quercetin from the external environment and protected it. The safety and biocompatibility of QL and QN were provenby performing cytotoxicity studies on fibroblast L929 cell lines. QN showed superior anticancer activity compared to QL, as seen for human mouth cancerKB cell lines. Stability studies proved that nanocochleates were more stable than liposomal formulations. Thus, nanocochleates might serve as pharmaceutical nanocarriers for the improved efficacy of drugs with low aqueous solubility, poor bioavailability, poor targeting ability and stability.

Characterization of camptothecin by analytical methods and determination of anticancer potential against prostate cancer

Background

Objective of present research work is to develop and validate cost-effective analytical tool for determination of camptothecin (CPT) and determine its anticancer potential against prostate cancer LNCaP cell lines. Structural elucidation has been performed by mass spectrometry, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy, and MTT assay utilized for in vitro cytotoxicity where spectrometric method was used for estimation of camptothecin.

Results

Mass spectra showed peak at 349.2 which matches to standard molecular weight of camptothecin. FTIR and NMR spectra conformed functional moieties and structure of isolated camptothecin which was nearly equal to values mentioned in standard structure of camptothecin. IC50 values of CPT against LNCaP cell lines was found to be 3.561 μg/ml. Lambda max of CPT was found to be at 225 nm and calibration curve found to be linear over the concentration range from 2 to 70 μg/ml of camptothecin. Developed method was found to be linear, accurate, and precise. LOD and LOQ were found to be 0.0524 μg/ml and 0.1614 μg/ml, respectively. Developed method has % relative standard deviation less than one which is reproducible hence % recovery was found to be 99.80%.

Conclusions

FTIR, NMR, and mass spectrometry results conforms isolated compound was camptothecin; cytotoxicity study proves it has strong potential in treatment of prostate carcinoma as competent alternative to chemotherapy in the form of herbal medicine and the developed UV method proves to be valid, sensitive, and applicable for rapid, accurate, precise, and economical determination of camptothecin.

1, 2-Dihexadecanoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphoethanolamin (DPPE), doxorubicin and folic acid conjugated micelles for cancer management in tumor bearing BALB/c mice

Aim of the present investigation was to assess and compare the in-vitro and in-vivo cancer targeting propensity of DPPE-FA-DOX Micelles and free DOX in tumor bearing BALB/c mice. The DOX was conjugated with 1, 2-Dihexadecanoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphoethanolamin (DPPE) and folic acid using Di-cyclohexyl-carbodiimide, confirmed by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) and proton NMR. DPPE-FA-DOX micelles were prepared using thin film method and evaluated for zeta potential, particle size, surface morphology, in- vitro drug release study etc. In-vitro anticancer activity and apoptosis assay was evaluated in breast cancer (MCF-7) cells using MTT assay and flow cytometer respectively. In-vivo biodistribution and toxicity assessment were evaluated in rats whereas antitumor activity in tumor bearing BALB/c mice. Prepared micelles were spherical with size and zeta potential of 295.6 + 84.4 nm and 0.8 ± 0.24 mV respectively. Apoptosis assay for DPPE-FA-DOX micelles treated cells using Annexin V/PI staining demonstrated 56.2% apoptotic cells. Remarkably, DPPE-FA-DOX micelles improved DOX bioavailability by 7 fold and diminished plasma elimination with no sign of tissue toxicity compared to free DOX. In-vivo biodistribution studies revealed that micelles facilitated higher accumulation of DOX in tumor than free DOX. DPPE-FA-DOX micelles treated mice survived for 62 days than Free DOX (40 days), revealed by Kaplan-Meier survival curve analysis. Histopathological examination of liver, kidney and heart tissues of micelles treated rat's corroborated reduced systemic toxicity than free DOX. Conclusively, DPPE-FA-DOX micelles could potentially facilitate the targeted delivery of DOX to tumors.

Enhanced oral permeability of Trans-Resveratrol using nanocochleates for boosting anticancer efficacy; in-vitro and ex-vivo appraisal

Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is a prevalent liver cancer representing the fourth most lethal cancer worldwide. Trans-Resveratrol (T-R) possesses a promising anticancer activity against HCC. However, it suffers from poor bioavailability because of the low solubility, chemical instability, and hepatic metabolism. Herein, we developed T-R-loaded nanocochleates using a simple trapping method. Nanocarriers were optimized using a comprehensive in-vitro characterization toolset and evaluated for the anticancer activity against HepG2 cell line. T-R-loaded nanocochleates demonstrated monodispersed cylinders (163.27 ± 2.68 nm and 0.25 ± 0.011 PDI) and -46.6 mV ζ-potential. They exhibited a controlled biphasic pattern with minimal burst followed by sustained release for 72 h. Significant enhancements of Caco-2 transport and ex-vivo intestinal permeation over liposomes, with 1.8 and 2.1-folds respectively, were observed. Nanocochleates showed significant reduction of 24 h IC₅₀ values compared to liposomes and free T-R. Moreover, an efficient knockdown of anti-apoptotic (Bcl-2) and cancer stemness (NANOG) genes was demonstrated. To the best of our knowledge, we are the first to develop T-R loaded nanocochleates and scrutinize its potential in suppressing NANOG expression, 2-folds lower, compared to free T-R. According to these auspicious outcomes, nanocochleates represent a promising nanoplatform to enhance T-R oral permeability and augment its anticancer efficacy in the treatment of HCC.

Investigating the Antioxidant and Cytocompatibility of Mimusops elengi Linn Extract over Human Gingival Fibroblast Cells

Background-chlorhexidine (CHX) is most commonly used as a chemical plaque control agent. Nevertheless, its adverse effects, including teeth discoloration, taste alteration and calculus build-up, limit its use and divert us to medicinal herbs. The purpose of the study was to evaluate the phytochemical composition, antioxidant potential, and cytotoxic effects of Mimusops elengi Linn extract (ME) over normal human cultured adult gingival fibroblasts (HGFs). Methods-in vitro phytochemical screening, total flavonoid content, antioxidant potential by DPPH and Nitric Oxide (NO) radical scavenging activity, and cytotoxic effects of ME extracts over HGF were explored. The viability of HGF cells was determined using 3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2, 5-diphenyl tetrazolium bromide (MTT), neutral red uptake, and trypan blue assay after treatment with different concentrations of CHX and ME (0.3125 to 10 µg/mL). Results-ME showed some alkaloids, glycosides, saponins and flavonoids exhibited relatively moderate-to-good antioxidant potential. Increasing the concentration of CHX and ME from 0.3125 to 10 µg/mL reduced cell viability from 29.71% to 1.07% and 96.12% to 56.02%, respectively. At higher concentrations, CHX reduced the viability of cells by 52.36-fold compared to ME, revealed by MTT assay. At 10 µg/mL concentration, the mean cell viability of CHX and ME-treated cells was 2.24% and 57.45%, respectively, revealed by a neutral red assay. The viability of CHX- and ME-treated HGF cells estimated at higher concentrations (10 µg/mL) using trypan blue assay was found to be 2.18% and 47.36%, respectively. A paired t-test showed significance (p < 0.05), and one-way ANOVA difference between the mean cell viability of CHX- and ME-treated cells at different concentrations. One-way ANOVA confirmed the significant difference between the viability of CHX- and ME-treated cells. Conclusions-The cytoprotective and antioxidant effects of ME emphasize its potential benefits. Therefore, it could emerge as a herbal alternative and adjunct to conventional oral hygiene methods, that can diminish periodontal tissue destruction.

Current Trends in Drug Delivery System of Curcumin and its Therapeutic Applications

Curcumin is a poly phenolic compound extracted from turmeric. Over the past years, it has acquired significant interest among researchers due to its numerous pharmacological activities like anti- cancer, anti-alzheimer, anti-diabetic, anti-bacterial, anti-inflammatory and so on. However, the clinical use of curcumin is still obstructed due to tremendously poor bioavailability, rapid metabolism, lower gastrointestinal absorption, and low permeability through cell that makes its pharmacology thrilling. These issues have led to enormous surge of investigation to develop curcumin nano formulations which can overcome these restrictive causes. The scientists all across the universe are working on designing several drug delivery systems viz. liposomes, micelles, magnetic nano carriers, etc. for curcumin and its composites which not only improve its physiochemical properties but also enhanced its therapeutic applications. The review aims to systematically examine the treasure of information about the medicinal use of curcumin. This article delivers a general idea of the current study piloted to overwhelm the complications with the bioavailability of curcumin which have exhibited an enhanced biological activity than curcumin. This article explains the latest and detailed study of curcumin and its conjugates, its phytochemistry and biological perspectives and also proved curcumin as an efficient drug candidate for the treatment of numerous diseases. Recent advancements and futuristic viewpoints are also deliberated, which shall help researchers and foster commercial translations of improved nanosized curcumin combination for the treatment of various diseases.

Investigation of 1,2-Dimyristoyl-sn-Glycero-3-Phosphoglycerol-Sodium (DMPG-Na) Lipid with Various Metal Cations in Nanocochleate Preformulation: Application for Andrographolide Oral Delivery in Cancer Therapy

This study aimed at carrying out a preformulation investigation of nanocochleates (NCs) and develop andrographolide-loaded nanocochleates. Preformulation study comprised of exploring the effect of trivalent and divalent ions on transition temperature (TT) of lipid (DMPG-Na), on particle size (PS), entrapment efficacy (EE), zeta potential (ZP) of NCs, and effect of NCs on change in lipid solubility post-NC formation. Further, the andrographolide-loaded nanocochleates made with CaCl₂ (ANDNCs) were characterized for ZP, PS, EE, X-ray powder diffraction (PXRD), differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), transition electron microscopy (TEM), in vitro release studies, in vitro anticancer potential on the cell line of human breast cancer (MCF-7), in vivo oral pharmacokinetic studies, and tissue distribution in female Wistar rats. Nanocochleates developed with CaCl₂ had a significant reduction in PS (1.78-fold) and ZP (1.38-fold), and elevation of EE (1.17-fold) as compared to AlCl₃ developed NCs. Trivalent ions demonstrated elevation of TT as compared to divalent ions. Spiral-shaped ANDNCs demonstrated ZP, PS, and EE of - 121.46 ± 15.12 mV, 360 ± 47 nm, and 68.12 ± 3.81% respectively. In vitro release study of ANDNCs showed a strong pH-dependent release profile due to hydrogen bonding between NCs and andrographolide (AND). Formulated ANDNCs demonstrated 26.99-fold decrease in IC50 value as compared to free AND. Additionally, the oral bioavailability of AND from ANDNCs improved by 1.81-fold as compared to free AND. Furthermore, ANDNCs showed minimum accumulation within the vital organs such as liver, kidney, and spleen. Briefly, the preformulation study laid a platform for better understanding the NCs and its components. Further, developed ANDNCs revealed superior physiochemical properties to be used as an alternative for a clinical setting.

Design and characterization of camptothecin gel for treatment of epidermoid carcinoma

Background

The objective of present research work is to design and characterize camptothecin gel using Carbopol-934 for the treatment of epidermoid carcinoma. Optimized herbal gel formulations were evaluated for homogeneity and appearance, viscosity, extrudability, spreadability, drug content, drug release, pH, and in vitro skin cancer activity on A431 cell lines.

Results

Mass and Infrared Spectra respectively conforms molecular weight and functional groups present in camptothecin. All the formulations F1 to F5 showed good homogeneity, pH from 6.68 to 6.90, spreadability in the range of 15.81–23.37 gm.cm/s, extrudability 85.51–90.45% w/w, drug content 89.12–96.64%, and in vitro diffusion 88.36–98.40%, respectively. The drug release study showed that all the formulations followed a diffusion-controlled, zero-order release mechanism. Anticancer activity results indicate that camptothecin gel induce cell death in A-439 cells having IC50 48.03 μg and % apoptosis 54.67 ± 4.58.

Conclusion

Topical delivery of camptothecin alleviates the side effects caused by systemic chemotherapy; hence, the developed herbal gel formulation can be effectively useful to deliver camptothecin in the treatment of epidermoid carcinoma on A-431 cells.

Bioactive Compounds: Natural Defense Against Cancer?

Cancer is a devastating disease that has claimed many lives. Natural bioactive agents from plants are gaining wide attention for their anticancer activities. Several studies have found that natural plant-based bioactive compounds can enhance the efficacy of chemotherapy, and in some cases ameliorate some of the side-effects of drugs used as chemotherapeutic agents. In this paper, we have reviewed the literature on the anticancer effects of four plant-based bioactive compounds namely, curcumin, myricetin, geraniin and tocotrienols (T3) to provide an overview on some of the key findings that are related to this effect. The molecular mechanisms through which the active compounds may exert their anticancer properties in cell and animal-based studies also discussed.

Optimization and characterization of poly(lactic-co-glycolic acid) nanoparticles loaded with astaxanthin and evaluation of anti-photodamage effect in vitro

Astaxanthin is a xanthophyll carotenoid with high beneficial biological activities, such as antioxidant function and scavenging oxygen free radicals, but its application is limited because of poor water solubility and low bioavailability. Here, we prepared and optimized poly(lactic-co-glycolic acid) (PLGA) nanoparticles loaded with astaxanthin using the emulsion solvent evaporation technique and investigated the anti-photodamage effect in HaCaT cells. The four-factor three-stage Box-Behnken design was used to optimize the nanoparticle formulation. The experimental determination of the optimal nanoparticle size was 154.4 ± 0.35 nm, the zeta potential was 22.07 ± 0.93 mV, encapsulation efficiency was 96.42 ± 0.73% and drug loading capacity was 7.19 ± 0.12%. The physico-chemical properties of the optimized nanoparticles were characterized by dynamic light scattering, scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy, Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction, differential scanning calorimetry and thermo-gravimetric analyser. In vitro study exhibited the excellent cell viability and cellular uptake of optimized nanoparticles on HaCaT cells. The anti-photodamage studies (cytotoxicity assay, reactive oxygen species content and JC-1 assessment) demonstrated that the optimized nanoparticles were more effective and safer than pure astaxanthin in HaCaT cells. These results suggest that our PLGA-coated astaxanthin nanoparticles synthesis method was highly feasible and can be used in cosmetics or the treatment of skin diseases.

Inhibitory Traits of Dendrosome Curcumin (DNC) on Breast Cancer Compared to Curcumin Single Compound

PURPOSE

Vast therapeutic traits and very low toxicity of curcumin compound have made it and related formulations promising for treatment purposes. The aim of this study was the assessment of dendrosome curcumin (DNC) inhibitory effects on breast cancer therapy compared to single curcumin compound.

METHODS

DNC was synthesized and MCF-7 cells were prepared. The cultured cells were treated with 20 μg/ml and 25 μg/ml of DNC. Real-time quantitative PCR (RT-qPCR) was performed to measure the expression of FOXCUT and MEG3 genes. Additionally, flow cytometry was applied to measure cell death rate and apoptosis.

RESULTS

The results outlined that DNC enhanced the MEG3 gene expression significantly higher than the control. Furthermore, DNC was associated with a significant decrease in the expression of FOXCUT gene as compared to the control. The application of DNC in the MCF7 cell line enhanced cell death and reduced necrosis.

CONCLUSIONS

The rate of apoptosis (programmed cell death) was enhanced, but necrosis was decreased in treated cancer cells compared to those treated with single curcumin. Accordingly, the DNC can be applied to hinder the growth and dissemination of cancer cells as a preferred approach to reduce the complications of other strategies such as chemotherapy and radiation therapy. Indeed, we concluded that DNC enhanced the expression of MEG3, a tumor suppressor, at 25 μm dose, but reduced the expression of the FOXCUT gene, possibly via the methylation of the gene. Thereby, DNC exerted a promising tumor inhibitory growth potential for the eradication of cancer cells.
