Abstract
Three distinctive end group-containing organotin (IV) carboxylates complexes (YDCOOSn, CLCOOSn and BZCOOSn) were designed and synthesized. Together with theoretical calculations, a thorough examination was carried out to investigate the photophysical properties of these compounds. The cytotoxicity of the synthesized compounds was tested using normal cell line GES-1 and was assessed against four cancer cell lines (A549, Hela, H1299 and HepG2). The outcomes of the experiments demonstrated that these complexes had superior selectivity than cisplatin towards cancerous cells, particularly in the A549 cell line. BZCOOSn was selected as a candidate compound for additional research because it exhibited the lowest IC50 value and the most impressive inducing effect on cell death and G2/M phase arrest. Increased caspase-3 and -9 enzyme activity, a decline in mitochondrial membrane potential (MMP), characteristic nuclear apoptotic morphology, and an accumulation of intracellular reactive oxygen species (ROS) were seen in A549 exposed to BZCOOSn. These findings demonstrated that BZCOOSn exhibited strong cytotoxicity by triggering cell death in A549 via the mitochondrial route. Furthermore, using the scratch wound healing assay, it was discovered that BZCOOSn reduced the migration of A549 cancerous cells. These data all pointed to BZCOOSn as a possible candidate for more research and development as a chemotherapeutic drug.

Abstract
Three triorganotin(IV) compounds, R3Sn(L), with R = CH3 (1), n-C4H9 (2) and C6H5 (3), and LH = 4-[(2-chloro-4-methylphenyl)carbamoyl]butanoic acid, were prepared and confirmed by various techniques. A five-coordinate, distorted trigonal-bipyramidal geometry was elucidated for tin(IV) centres both in solution and solid states. An intercalation mode was confirmed for the compound SS-DNA interaction by UV-visible, viscometric techniques and molecular docking. MD simulation revealed stable binding of LH with SS-DNA. Anti-bacterial investigation revealed 2 to be generally the most potent, especially against Sa and Ab, i.e. having the lowest MIC values (≤0.25 μg/mL) compared to the standard anti-biotics vancomycin-HCl (MIC = 1 μg/mL) and colistin-sulphate (MIC = 0.25 μg/mL). Similarly, the anti-fungal profile shows 2 exhibits 100% inhibition against Ca and Cn fungal strains and has MIC values (≤0.25 μg/mL) comparatively lower than standard drug fluconazole (0.125 and 8 μg/mL for Ca and Cn, respectively). Compound 2 has the greatest activity with CC50 ≤ 25 μg/mL and HC50 > 32 μg/mL performed against HEC239 and RBC cell lines. The anti-cancer potential was assessed against the MG-U87 cell line, using cisplatin as the standard (133 µM), indicates 2 displays the greatest activity (IC50: 5.521 µM) at a 5 µM dose. The greatest anti-leishmanial potential was observed for 2 (87.75 at 1000 μg/mL) in comparison to amphotericin B (90.67). The biological assay correlates with the observed maximum of 89% scavenging activity exhibited by 2. The Swiss-ADME data publicised the screened compounds generally follow the rule of 5 of drug-likeness and have good bioavailability potential.

Abstract
Due to the antitumor properties, Zn(II) complexes have attracted more and more attention. Herein, three novel tetranuclear Zn(II) complexes 1-3 based on dihydrazone pyrimidine derivatives H2L1-H2L3 were synthesized and characterized using IR spectroscopy, 1H NMR spectroscopy, single crystal X-ray diffraction analysis, XRD, TG and elemental analysis. Single crystal X-ray diffraction analysis revealed that 1-3 all displayed a [2 × 2] grid-like topology. The stability in solution, lipophilicity, confocal imaging and antitumor activities were investigated. Complexes 1-3 displayed high structural stability, membrane permeability and different lipophilicities. They can target mitochondria due to the cation charge. The MTT assay indicated that all of them exhibited stronger antiproliferative activity than the corresponding derivatives H2L1-H2L3 and the well-known cisplatin against all the selected tumor cells (BGC-823, BEL-7402, MCF-7 and A549), with IC50 values ranging from 2.83 μM to 7.97 μM. AO/EB double staining, flow cytometry and ROS detection suggested that complexes 1 and 2 could induce BGC-823 apoptosis in a dose-dependent manner. UV-Vis spectra, CD spectra, viscosity analysis and molecular docking revealed that complexes 1 and 2 interact with DNA mainly via partial intercalation and groove binding. Tetranuclear [2 × 2] grid-like Zn(II) complexes have the potential to be promising antitumor agents in the future.

Abstract
The present study aims to investigate the newly synthesized organotin (IV) complex (2E, 2′E) dibutylstannanediyl bis (4-(4-nitrophenyl) amino)-4-oxobut-2-enoate (DTN) for its anti-ulcer potential. Characterization performed by carbon nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy proved that all values are in the expected ranges of the new compound. Gastroprotective activity of DTN was evaluated through in-silico, anti-H. pylori, in-vitro, in-vivo, and ex-vivo proteomic analysis. In-silico analysis shows that DTN possess stable binding with protein targets involved in gastric ulcer pathophysiology. DTN exhibited an inhibitory effect against 2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl, H. pylori and hydrogen potassium ATPase (H+/K+-ATPase). The antiulcer activity was performed using an ethanol-induced gastric ulcer model in rats. Anti-oxidant profile of DTN showed a significant increase in glutathione-S-transferase, glutathione and catalase levels whereas lipid peroxidation levels were reduced. Histopathological findings confirmed that DTN protected the gastric mucosa of rats. Inflammatory markers tumor necrosis factor-alpha, nuclear factor kappa B, cyclooxygenase-2, interleukin 6 and interleukin-1β were reduced and prostaglandin-E2 restored expression of these cytokines in DTN pretreated animals when analyzed by using immunohistochemistry, enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay and western blot techniques. In real-time polymerase chain reaction technique, the expression of H+/K+-ATPase was downregulated in DTN pretreated group. DTN did not cause any mortality up to 400 mg/Kg. This study indicates that the newly synthesized compound DTN, possess stable binding against selected targets. DTN exhibits a gastro-protective effect, mediated via anti-H. pylori, H+/K+-ATPase inhibition, anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory pathways, exploring its therapeutic potential in gastric ulcer management.

Abstract
Compared to general fluorescent dyes, multi-photon fluorescent dyes exhibit deeper tissue penetration and lower auto-fluorescence in the bio-imaging field. Therefore, it is necessary to develop an efficient multiphoton imaging agent for deep tissue imaging. In this work, an organotin derivative (HSnBu3) has been designed and synthesized, which shows multiphoton absorption activity. In constrast to the ignorable three-photon activity of the ligand, the complex (HSnBu3) exhibits three-photon activity under NIR excitation (1500 nm). Results of chemical and biological tests confirmed that HSnBu3 was more easily activated by oxygen resulting in a higher level of 1O2, which could induce a decrease in mitochondrial membrane potential in HepG2 cells. It suggests that HSnBu3 has potential in photodynamic therapy.
