Abstract
The 1,2,3-triazole-based chemosensors, synthesized through Cu(I)-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition via 'click chemistry', offer a straightforward yet highly effective method for detecting metal cations and anions with remarkable accuracy, selectivity and sensitivity, making them invaluable across various fields such as chemistry, pharmacology, environmental science and biology. The selective recognition of these ions is crucial due to their significant roles in biological and physiological processes, where even slight concentration variations can have major consequences. The article reviews literature from 2017 to 2024, highlighting advancements in the synthesis of 1,2,3-triazole-based ligands and their application (along with sensing mechanism) for detection of various ions causing health and environmental hazards. The detection aspects have been discussed sequentially for the transition-, inner transition-, and the metals from the s or p block of the periodic table.

Abstract
'Click' derived 1,2,3-triazole appended scaffolds are intriguing candidates for selective metal ion recognition because of their stereospecificity and efficiency. The presented report uses the 'click' approach to introduce a glyoxal bis-(2-hydroxyanil)-based chemosensor probe (GT) via the CuAAC pathway, which can selectively detect Cu(II) and Pb(II) ions, both of which are among the most hazardous and perturbing environmental pollutants. NMR spectroscopy, IR spectroscopy, and mass spectrometry (LCMS) were used to successfully characterize the synthesized probe. The discerning recognition behaviour of the probe for Cu(II) and Pb(II) ions was established through a chemosensing investigation using fluorescence and UV-vis spectroscopy, wherein the fluorescence spectral analysis demonstrated the probe to mimic the IMPLICATION logic gate. Furthermore, the metal-ligand interaction was also validated by 1H NMR and IR spectroscopy of the synthesized GT-metal complex, and UV-vis spectroscopy was also employed to analyze the effect of time and temperature on the capacity of the probe to bind with Cu(II) and Pb(II) ions. Furthermore, the sensor's atherosclerosis-inhibition potential was investigated in silico utilizing docking analysis with tribbles-1 protein, and a density functional theory (DFT) study enhanced the understanding of its structure using the B3LYP functional and the 6311G++(d,p) basis set.

Abstract
Magnetic nanoparticles decorated with d-galactose and galactitol (Fe3O4@SiN-galactose and Fe3O4@SiN-galactitol) were synthesized and employed as sorbent in a magnetic solid phase extraction (MSPE) procedure prior the analysis of aminoglycosides (AGs) in honey samples by LC-MS/MS. AGs are broad spectrum antibiotics, characterized by aminosugars, widespread used in therapeutic and veterinary applications. AGs can be found in the environment and food of animal origin. Fe3O4@SiN-galactose and Fe3O4@SiN-galactitol were synthesized via copper catalyzed alkyne azide cycloaddition and the synthesis was efficiently followed by infrared spectroscopy. They were characterized by electron microscopy, thermogravimetric analysis and magnetization curves. The nature of the loading (acetonitrile:water, 50:50 v/v) and elution solution (formic acid 190 mM) were studied in order to optimize the MSPE. Quantitative difference between MSPE with Fe3O4@SiN-galactose and MSPE with Fe3O4@SiN-galactitol in terms of recovery was found. The final optimized method using Fe3O4@SiN-galactose and Fe3O4@SiN-galactitol was applied in the determination of AGs in honey. The MSPE performance of Fe3O4@SiN-galactitol was found to be superior to that of MSPE with Fe3O4@SiN-galactose. The limits of quantification were between 2 and 19 μg kg-1 for amikacin, dihydrostreptomycin, tobramicyn and gentamycin. A good correlation between predicted and nominal values of AGs in honey was found (trueness from 84% to 109%). This MSPE procedure not only requires a minimum amount of sorbent (1 mg) and sample (0.2 g), but it can also be accomplish in a rather short time.

Abstract
This report demonstrates the mimicking of an electronic circuit diagram towards Ce(iii) ion sensing response supported by molecular keypads. The probe naphthyl based triazole linked silatrane (NTS) was efficiently synthesized using a series of microwave mediated reactions. The luminescent sensor NTS was explored for the ion sensing response towards Ce(iii) ions using DMSO and DMSO : H2O 4 : 1 (v/v) as solvent media, respectively. The role of water in Ce(iii) ion sensing was detected as ‘turn-off’ response that contradicts the ‘turn-on’ with DMSO. Further, the sensing of NO3− ions by NTS–Ce(iii) ensemble was associated with blue shift on absorption maxima. These mimicking response studies were sketched as circuit diagrams assisted by molecular keypad behaviour as IMPLICATION output logic gate. This report demonstrates the mimicking of an electronic circuit diagram towards Ce(iii) ion sensing response supported by molecular keypads.![]()

Abstract
The efficient linkage of a conjugate chalcone to n-propyltriethoxysilanes via a 1,2,3-triazole is reported. The synthesis involves a Claisen–Schmidt condensation followed by a copper(i) catalyzed azide–alkyne cycloaddition (CuAAC) reaction.
