Abstract
PURPOSE
This report presents a simplified and quick surgical method for correction of the prominent car.
PATIENTS AND METHODS
Fifty otoplasties in 29 patients were performed to reshape the antihelix. The technique was based on the Stenstrom method plus use of the Kaye suture.
RESULTS
No major complications were observed while using this method, and good aesthetic results were obtained.
CONCLUSIONS
This surgical technique represents an easy, rapid, and safe method to reshape the antihelix.
