Abstract
We report herein a concise method for the construction of phosphinonyl-azaindoline and -azaoxindole derivatives via a palladium-catalyzed cascade cyclization with P(O)H compounds. Various H-phosphonates, H-phosphinates, and aromatic secondary phosphine oxides are all tolerated under the reaction conditions. Furthermore, the phosphinonyl-azaindoline isomer families such as 7-, 5-, and 4-azaindolines could be synthesized in moderate to good yields.

Abstract
A facile Pd-catalyzed cascade of intramolecular Heck cyclization/alkylpalladium activated dearomatization of aryl alkyne-tethered indole is described. In this single step two nonadjacent all-carbon quaternary centers, two nitrogen-containing heterocycles, and three C(sp2)-C(sp3) bonds are efficiently furnished. These products could also undergo 5-to-6 ring migration-expansion reaction under Brønsted-acid conditions to transform into the benzo[c]carbazole skeletons.

Abstract
A convenient Y(OTf)3-catalyzed cascade formal [4 + 2] cyclization approach for the formation of 1,4-benzoxazine scaffolds from benzoxazoles and propargyl alcohols through a ring-opening and regioselective ring-closure process has been developed. By using this mild and practical protocol, a broad range of aldehyde-containing 1,4-benzoxazine compounds were prepared in moderate to excellent yields with good functional group tolerance. Mechanistic studies indicated that an SN1 nucleophilic substitution of benzoxazole with a propargyl cation was involved in this transformation.

Abstract
We report herein a palladium-catalyzed domino cyclization/carbonylation to access ester-functionalized azaindolines, applying formates as a convenient carbonyl source. All four azaindoline isomers were constructed, exhibiting good functional group compatibility. On this basis, modifying the starting tether on the aminopyridine led to furoazaindolines via an intramolecular reductive cyclization after the palladium-catalyzed process.

Abstract
The application of a C(vinyl), C(aryl)-palladacycle from vinyl-containing substrates is challenging due to the interference of a reactive double bond in palladium catalysis. This Letter describes a [4 + 2] or [4 + 3] cyclization based on a C(vinyl), C(aryl)-palladacycle by employing α-oxocarboxylic acids as the insertion units under a palladium/air system. The reaction proceeded through the key vinyl C-H activation and dual decarboxylation sequence, forming phenanthrenes and cyclohepta[1,2,3-de]naphthalenes regioselectively in good yields. The synthetic versatility of this protocol is highlighted by the gram-scale synthesis and synthesizing functional material molecule.

Abstract
A palladium-catalyzed cascade allylative dicarbofunctionalization of aryl phenol-tethered alkynes with allyl iodides is described. A series of polysubstituted spirocyclo-containing skipped dienes with an all-carbon tetrasubstituted alkene unit are synthesized through this convenient process. The cascade reaction proceeds selectively through dearomative C-allylation instead of O-allylation of aryl phenols.

Abstract
A highly enantioselective Pd/Cu-catalyzed tandem C–C bond activation/Sonogashira reaction was developed with the aid of new TFSi-Phos, which provided chiral alkynyl indanones in good yields and enantioselectivities.
The Sonogashira-type cross-coupling reaction is one of the most significant alkynylation transformations in organic chemistry. However, highly enantioselective alkynylation via the Sonogashira-type cross-coupling reaction is rather limited, mainly due to the difficulties in matching the stereoselective induction of chiral ligands with the combinational behavior of Pd/Cu-based bimetallic catalysts. We herein report novel enantioselective palladium/copper-catalyzed alkyl alkynylation of cyclobutanones with terminal alkynes via tandem C–C bond activation/Sonogashira-type cross coupling reaction, in which a novel chiral TADDOL-derived phosphoramidite ligand bearing fluorine and silicon-based bulky groups simplified as TFSi-Phos is found to be an efficient ligand for both C(sp2)–C(sp3) bond cleavage and new C(sp3)–C(sp) bond formation. A wide range of chiral alkynylated indanones bearing an all-carbon quaternary stereocenter are obtained efficiently with up to 97.5 : 2.5 er.
