Abstract
A cascade phosphorylation cycloisomerization of readily accessible ynones and diphenylphosphine oxides facilitated by potassium phosphate is described, allowing for the straightforward synthesis of C4-phosphorylated quinoline scaffolds. The formation of a C-P bond and a C-N bond is achieved in a single procedure without the need for pre-assembled quinoline cores prior to phosphorylation. This transformation operates without the requirement for metals or oxidants and exhibits excellent compatibility with various functional groups. Furthermore, antimicrobial activity evaluation demonstrated that the synthesized C4-phosphorylated quinoline derivatives exhibited potent inhibitory activity against Staphylococcus aureus.

Abstract
Cyclodimerization of readily accessible acetylenic ketones facilitated by a phosphane-borane complex under basic conditions is achieved. This methodology allows one-pot synthesis of phosphorus-involved tetrasubstituted furans via the construction of a C-P bond and a furan ring within a single procedure. A plausible reaction mechanism is proposed.

Abstract
Structurally diverse 1,3-dienes are valuable building blocks in organic synthesis. Herein we report the iron-catalyzed coupling between α-allenyl esters and Grignard reagents, which provides a fast and practical approach to a variety of complex substituted 1,3-dienes. The reaction involves an inexpensive iron catalyst, mild reaction conditions, and provides easy scale up.

Abstract
An iron(II)-catalyzed bisphosphorylation cascade cycloisomerization of readily accessible γ-hydroxyl ynones and diphenylphosphine oxides is described. This strategy provides a variety of valuable polysubstituted bisphosphorylated dihydrofuran scaffolds via the construction of two C-P bonds and one C-O bond within a single procedure. This developed reaction system demonstrates good functional group compatibilities with considerably low catalyst consumption (as low as 1%), which could be further scaled up to gram quantities in satisfactory yields.

Abstract
The first facile, efficient, atom-economical and regioselective palladium-catalyzed direct C-P cross-coupling of unprotected allenic alcohols with H-phosphonates for the one-pot synthesis of structurally diverse multisubstituted 2-phosphinoyl-1,3-butadienes was developed. This strategy would enrich the allene chemistry and afford new scaffolds to construct complex molecular skeletons.

Abstract
Theoretical investigations have elucidated the mechanism of metal-free electrophilic phosphinative cyclization of alkynes reaction reported by Miura and coworkers. Two competitive mechanisms I and II were explored without or with 2,6-lutidine. Both of I and II involve transformation of P(V) to P(III), electrophilic addition, ring opening and cyclization/cyclization, hydrogen-transfer, and oxidation. The rate-determining step of mechanism I and competitive less-step II is electrophilic [2 + 1] cycloaddition and electrophilic addition via single CP bond formation with activation barrier of 13.5 and 10.6 kcal/mol, respectively. Our calculation results suggested that the cumulative effect of the isomer of 2,6-lutidine and Tf2 O as well as TfO- affects the title reaction to some extent, and simultaneously activates key reaction sites and reverses the polarities of them via the formation of abundant noncovalent interactions to decrease activation barriers of TSs. In addition, the effects of two series substituents on reactivity of phosphine oxide were investigated. Therefore, our study will serve as useful guidance for more efficient metal-free synthesis of organophosphorus compounds mediated by pyridine reagents.

Abstract
The first facile and efficient acid-catalyzed direct coupling of a wide range of unprotected 2,3-allenols with arylphosphine oxides was developed, offering a general, one-step approach for the synthesis of structurally diverse γ-ketophosphine oxides accompanied by concurrent C-P/C═O bond formation with remarkable functional group tolerance and complete atom-economy under metal- and additive-free conditions. Mechanistic studies showed that this transformation involved a rearrangement and a phospha-Michael reaction.

Abstract
