Abstract
This study aimed to explore the distribution, characteristics and prognostic value of baseline peripheral blood lymphocyte subsets in patients with extranodal NK/T-cell lymphoma (NKTCL). We conducted this cross-sectional study of 205 newly-diagnosed NKTCL patients receiving first-line chemotherapy and radiation at our institute between 2010 and 2020. Baseline peripheral blood lymphocytes were detected using flow cytometry, and the clinical value was analyzed. Compared with healthy controls, patients with NKTCL presented with a distinct peripheral immunity with higher levels of cytotoxic CD8+ T cells (33.230 ± 12.090% vs. 27.060 ± 4.010%, p < 0.001) and NKT cells (7.697 ± 7.219% vs. 3.550 ± 2.088%, p < 0.001) but lower proportions of suppressive regulatory T cells (Treg, 2.999 ± 1.949% vs. 3.420 ± 1.051%, p = 0.003) and CD4+ helper T cells (Th, 33.084 ± 11.361% vs. 37.650 ± 3.153%, p < 0.001). Peripheral lymphocytes were differentially distributed according to age, stage, and primary site in patients with NKTCL. The proportion of Th cells/lymphocytes was associated with tumor burden reflected by stage (p = 0.037), serum lactate dehydrogenase (p = 0.0420), primary tumor invasion (p = 0.025), and prognostic index for NK/T-cell lymphoma (PINK) score (p = 0.041). Furthermore, elevated proportions of T cells (58.9% vs. 76.4%, p = 0.005), Th cells (56.3% vs. 68.8%, p = 0.047), or Treg cells (49.5% vs. 68.9%, p = 0.040) were associated with inferior 5-year progression-free survivals (PFS) via univariable survival analysis. Multivariate cox regression revealed elevated Th cells as an independent predictor for unfavorable PFS (HR = 2.333, 95% CI, 1.030-5.288, p = 0.042) in NKTCL. These results suggested the proportion of Th cells positively correlated with tumor burden and was a potential non-invasive biomarker for inferior survival for patients with NKTCL.

Abstract
INTRODUCTION Diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) is the most common subtype of non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. Nearly 40% of patients will die of relapsed disease despite the use of rituximab plus cyclophosphamide, doxorubicin, vincristine, and prednisone (R-CHOP) chemotherapy. Many prognostic markers established in the chemotherapy era are no longer valid in the rituximab era. OBJECTIVES We aim to identify whether we can add absolute lymphocyte count (ALC), absolute monocyte count (AMC), and lymphocyte-to-monocyte ratio (LMR) as new prognostic factors for DLBCL treated with R-CHOP. We also aim to find whether a correlation exists between these variables and the revised International Prognostic Index (R-IPI) score. METHODS This is an observational retrospective study done from 2005 to 2015 in Rafic Hariri University Hospital (RHUH), Lebanon, on 42 patients treated with R-CHOP. Patients' data were obtained from medical records. We used receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve for establishing cutoff values. The chi-square test was used to analyze associations between variables. RESULTS Patients were followed for a median of 42 months (24-96 months). Patients with LMR < 2.53 had a significantly worse outcome than those with LMR ≥ 2.53 (p < 0.0001). This was also true for patients with ALC < 1.47 × 109/L (p = 0.0163) and AMC > 0.603 × 109/L (p = 0.0053). LMR was also able to risk-stratify patients within each R-IPI category into high- and low-risk patients. CONCLUSION ALC, AMC, and LMR, surrogate markers of the host immune system and tumor microenvironment, have prognostic significance in DLBCL patients treated with R-CHOP.

Abstract
Signal regulatory protein-α (SIRPα) is a key member of the “do-not-eat-me” signaling pathway, but its biological role and clinical relevance in B-cell NHL is relatively unknown. Using biopsy specimens from follicular lymphoma (FL), we identified three subsets (CD14+SIRPαhi, CD14−SIRPαlow, and CD14−SIRPαneg) of monocyte/macrophages (Mo/MΦ) based on CD14 and SIRPα expression. CD14+SIRPαhi cells expressed common Mo/MΦ markers; exhibited characteristic differentiation, migration, and phagocytosis; and suppressed T-cell function. CD14−SIRPαlow cells expressed fewer typical Mo/MΦ markers; migrated less and phagocytosed tumor cells less efficiently; and stimulated rather than suppressed T-cell function. Interestingly, the CD14−SIRPαneg subset expressed distinct Mo/MΦ markers compared to the other two subsets; had limited ability to migrate and phagocytose; but stimulated T-cell function. When using SIRPα-Fc to block the interaction between SIRPα and CD47, alone or in combination with rituximab, phagocytosis of tumor cells was differentially increased in the three Mo/MΦ subsets. Clinically, increased numbers of CD14+SIRPαhi cells were associated with an inferior survival in FL. In contrast, increased numbers of the CD14−SIRPαlow subset appeared to correlate with a better survival. Taken together, our results show that SIRPα expression delineates unique subsets of intratumoral Mo/MΦs with differing prognostic importance.

Abstract
Peripheral T-cell lymphomas-not otherwise specified (PTCL-NOS) generally have poor patient outcomes, with a 5-year survival rate of ∼32%. The most common prognostic system for patients with PTCL-NOS, the PTCL-U score, is often inadequate because it does not take into consideration the role of host immunity or the microenvironment induced by the tumor. In this paper we aimed to determine the correlation between the Absolute Lymphocyte Count/Absolute Monocyte Count (ALC/AMC) ratio and the prognosis of PTCL-NOS. Retrospective data from 58 patients diagnosed with PTCL-NOS were analyzed. We found that PTCL-NOS patients with lower ALC/AMC ratios (ALC/AMC < 2) had shorter overall survival (OS) and progression-free survival (PFS) periods (OS: P < 0.001; PFS: P = 0.001) compared with other patients (ALC/AMC ≥ 2). When we combined ALC/AMC ratio and PTCL-U scores, patients could be clearly divided into 3 groups with significantly different prognoses. This study suggests that the ALC/AMC ratio may be a simple, effective, and independent prognostic factor for OS and PFS, and may be helpful to identify high-risk PTCL-NOS patients. Since the ALC/AMC ratio is related to host immunity and tumor microenvironment and reflects immune status and individual differences, combining ALC/AMC with PTCL-U may be a better prognostic guide for PTCL-NOS patients.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Impaired T cell reconstitution remains a major deterrent in the field of bone marrow (BM) transplantation (BMT) due to pre-conditioning-induced damages inflicted to the thymi of recipient hosts. Given the previously reported thymo-stimulatory property of interleukin (IL)-21, we reasoned that its use post-BMT could have a profound effect on de novo T cell development. METHODS To evaluate the effect of IL-21 on de novo T cell development in vivo, BM derived from RAG2p-GFP mice was transplanted into LP/J mice. Lymphocyte reconstitution was first assessed using a hematological analyzer and a flow cytometer on collected blood samples. Detailed flow cytometry analysis was then performed on the BM, thymus, and spleen of transplanted animals. Finally, the effect of human IL-21 on thymopoiesis was validated in humanized mice. RESULTS Using a major histocompatibility complex (MHC)-matched allogeneic BMT model, we found that IL-21 administration improves immune reconstitution by triggering the proliferation of BM Lin-Sca1+c-kit+ (LSK) subsets. The pharmacological effect of IL-21 also culminates in the recovery of both hematopoietic (thymocytes) and non-hematopoietic (stromal) cells within the thymi of IL-21-treated recipient animals. Although T cells derived from all transplanted groups proliferate, secrete various cytokines, and express granzyme B similarly in response to T cell receptor (TCR) stimulation, full regeneration of peripheral naïve CD4+ and CD8+ T cells and normal TCRvβ distribution could only be detected in IL-21-treated recipient mice. Astonishingly, none of the recipient mice who underwent IL-21 treatment developed graft-versus-host disease (GVHD) in the MHC-matched allogeneic setting while the graft-versus-tumor (GVT) effect was strongly retained. Inhibition of GVHD onset could also be attributed to the enhanced generation of regulatory B cells (B10) observed in the IL-21, but not PBS, recipient mice. We also tested the thymopoiesis-stimulating property of human IL-21 in NSG mice transplanted with cord blood (CB) and found significant improvement in de novo human CD3+ T cell development. CONCLUSIONS In sum, our study indicates that IL-21 represents a new class of unforeseen thymopoietin capable of restoring thymic function following BMT.

Abstract
The purpose of this study was to evaluate prediction of prognosis after first-line radioimmunotherapy (RIT) of advanced follicular non-Hodgkin lymphoma (FL), by imaging with fluorine-18-fluorodeoxyglucose positron emission tomography with computed tomography (18F-FDG-PET/CT) three months after induction treatment by Iodine-131-rituximab (131I-rituximab). Objective response was determined using the Deauville 5-point scale in 68 prospective clinical trial patients. Baseline 18F-FDG-PET/CT studies were used to calculate total-metabolic-tumor-volume (TMTV). Non-imaging studies included the Follicular lymphoma international prognostic index (FLIPI) and absolute baseline monocyte and lymphocyte counts. Patients were monitored for over ten years (median follow-up 59 months), and no patient was lost to follow-up. Complete response (CR) of 88% predicted excellent prognosis with median time-to-next-treatment (TTNT) not yet reached. Those patients (12%) who failed to achieve CR (Deauville ≤ 3) on 18F-FDG-PET/CT at three months had significantly poorer outcomes (p < 0.0001) with a median TTNT of 41 months. Requirement for re-treatment was predicted by FLIPI and absolute baseline monocyte count but not lymphocyte count. The TTNT was accurately predicted by 18F-FDG-PET/CT Deauville response at three months following first-line therapy of FL with RIT. Early response demonstrated by imaging does, therefore, foretell prognosis in the individual FL patients.

Abstract
The biological role of monocytes and macrophages in B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL) is not fully understood. We have previously reported that monocytes from patients with B-cell NHL have an immunosuppressive CD14+HLA-DRlow/− phenotype that correlates with a poor prognosis. However, the underlying mechanism by which CD14+HLA-DRlow/− monocytes develop in lymphoma is unknown. In the present study, we found that interleukin (IL)-10, which is increased in the serum of patients with B-cell NHL, induced the development of the CD4+HLA-DRlow/− population. Using peripheral blood samples from patients with B-cell NHL, we found that absolute numbers of CD14+ monocytic cells with an HLA-DRlow/− phenotype were higher than healthy controls and correlated with a higher International Prognostic Index score. IL-10 serum levels were elevated in lymphoma patients compared with controls and were associated with increased peripheral monocyte counts. Treatment of monocytes with IL-10 in vitro significantly decreased HLA-DR expression and resulted in the expansion of CD14+HLA-DRlow/− population. We found that lymphoma B cells produce IL-10 and supernatants from cultured lymphoma cells increased the CD14+HLA-DRlow/− population. Furthermore, we found that IL-10-induced CD14+HLA-DRlow/− monocytes inhibited the activation and proliferation of T cells. Taken together, these results suggest that elevated IL-10 serum levels contribute to increased numbers of immunosuppressive CD14+HLA-DRlow/− monocytes in B-cell NHL.

Abstract
Host immune responses influence follicular lymphoma (FL) outcomes. To test our hypothesis that immune cells in blood reflect that response, we assessed by peripheral blood flow cytometry in 75 untreated FL patients the absolute counts of: lymphocytes (ALC), CD4(+)T (ACD4C), CD8(+)T (ACD8C) and natural killer (ANKC) cells. Low ANKC was the only parameter associated with inferior overall survival by univariate analysis (p=0.02), and trended to significance in multivariable analysis with ACD4C (p=0.08). Five (24%) patients with low initial ANKC died, while one (2%) with normal/high ANKC has died. In conclusion, evaluation of blood ANKC may be a useful indicator of outcome in previously untreated FL patients.

Abstract
Background Extranodal natural killer/T-cell lymphoma (ENKL) has heterogeneous clinical manifestations and prognosis. This study aims to evaluate the prognostic impact of absolute monocyte count (AMC) in ENKL, and provide some immunologically relevant information for better risk stratification in patients with ENKL. Methods Retrospective data from 163 patients newly diagnosed with ENKL were analyzed. The absolute monocyte count (AMC) at diagnosis was analyzed as continuous and dichotomized variables. Independent prognostic factors of survival were determined by Cox regression analysis. Results The AMC at diagnosis were related to overall survival (OS) and progression-free survival (PFS) in patients with ENKL. Multivariate analysis identified AMC as independent prognostic factors of survival, independent of International Prognostic Index (IPI) and Korean prognostic index (KPI). The prognostic index incorporating AMC and absolute lymphocyte count (ALC), another surrogate factor of immune status, could be used to stratify all 163 patients with ENKL into different prognostic groups. For patients who received chemotherapy followed by radiotherapy (102 cases), the three AMC/ALC index categories identified patients with significantly different survivals. When superimposed on IPI or KPI categories, the AMC/ALC index was better able to identify high-risk patients in the low-risk IPI or KPI category. Conclusion The baseline peripheral monocyte count is shown to be an effective prognostic indicator of survival in ENKL patients. The prognostic index related to tumor microenvironment might be helpful to identify high-risk patients with ENKL.

Abstract
Background: Anaplastic lymphoma kinase (ALK)-positive anaplastic large cell lymphoma (ALCL) is a rare peripheral T-cell lymphoma, accounting for approximately 3% of adult non-Hodgkin lymphomas (NHL). In this report we describe an unusual case of an ALK(+) ALCL, which presented as an aggressive mass involving upper nasal cavity and anterior skull base. The pathogenesis, histopathology with radiologic correlations, and management of this case are reviewed. Case Description: A 28-year-old Asian female presented with a 3-month history of nasal congestion culminating in epistaxis. Physical examination was notable for a tissue mass obstructing nasal cavity and the sphenoid sinus. Computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance (MR) imaging revealed a lesion primarily involving the upper nasal cavity extending intracranially through the cribriform plates into the anterior cranial fossa. Histologic and immunohistochemical analysis of the specimen obtained through a transnasal biopsy revealed an ALK(+) ALCL. The patient underwent two cycles of chemotherapy and focal radiation therapy, achieving minimal residual disease. The patient remained neurologically unchanged with stable minimal residual disease at the 1-year follow-up. Conclusions: To the best of our knowledge, this is the first case of an ALK(+) ALCL that presented as an aggressive upper nasal cavity and anterior skull base lesion. This case report highlights the importance of multi-modality approaches including preoperative imaging and tissue biopsy for definitive diagnosis.

Abstract
Background Recent research has shown a correlation between immune microenvironment and lymphoma biology. This study aims to investigate the prognostic significance of the immunologically relevant lymphocyte-to-monocyte ratio (LMR), in diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) in the rituximab era. Methodology/Principal Findings We analyzed retrospective data from 438 newly diagnosed DLBCL patients treated with rituximab plus cyclophosphamide, doxorubicin, vincristine, and prednisone (R-CHOP) therapy. We randomly selected 200 patients (training set) to generate a cutoff value for LMR by receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve analysis. LMR was then analyzed in a testing set (n = 238) and in all patients (n = 438) for validation. The LMR cutoff value for survival analysis determined by ROC curve in the training set was 2.6. Patients with low LMR tended to have more adverse clinical characteristics. Low LMR at diagnosis was associated with worse survival in DLBCL, and could also identify high-risk patients in the low-risk IPI category. Multivariate analysis identified LMR as an independent prognostic factor of survival in the testing set and in all patients. Conclusions/Significance Baseline LMR, a surrogate biomarker of the immune microenvironment, is an effective prognostic factor in DLBCL patients treated with R-CHOP therapy. Future prospective studies are required to confirm our findings.

Abstract
The B7 homologues and their receptors regulate both peripheral tolerance and adaptive immunity. This field is rapidly evolving as new ligands and receptors are being identified. Much of the work supporting their role in the regulation of host anti-tumor immunity has been derived from experimental models and clinical trials in solid malignancies. However, a growing body of evidence demonstrates that the B7-H family has important immunologic and non-immunologic functions in a variety of hematologic malignancies. Herein, we will review recent evidence that supports the therapeutic targeting of the B7 homologues in hematologic malignancies.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Besides International Prognostic Index, many parameters have proven prognostic significance in aggressive lymphoma. However, the most appropriate system of risk stratification in diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) is not yet clear. In this study, we attempt to clarify the prognostic value of platelet count at the onset of lymphoma. MATERIALS AND METHODS Between January 2000 and December 2009, 100 patients with DLBCL receiving R-CEOP (rituximab, cyclophosphamide, epirubicin, vincristine, and prednisolone) in a single institution were enrolled. Patient characteristics and survival outcomes were retrospectively analyzed. RESULTS Before front-line treatment, 17 patients with thrombocytopenia (< 150 × 10(9)/L) and 83 patients without thrombocytopenia were enrolled. Thrombocytopenic patients initially presented with more B symptoms (P = .040), more bone marrow involvement (P = .001), later staging (P = .001), and higher International Prognostic Index (P < .001). Thrombocytopenia was shown to be an independently poor prognostic factor in the multivariate analysis of overall survival (hazard ratio [HR], 3.405; 95% confidence interval [CI], 1.431-8.101; P = .006) and progression-free survival (HR, 4.299; 95% CI, 1.786-10.343; P = .001). CONCLUSION Platelet count at diagnosis is a simple but useful indicator for predicting survival outcomes of DLBCL. Although the mechanisms of thrombocytopenia may be complex in lymphoma, further investigations are warranted to illustrate the predictive merit.

Abstract
PURPOSE Patients with high-grade gliomas (HGG) routinely receive radiation, temozolomide, and glucocorticoids. As each of these is immunosuppressive, we conducted a prospective, multicenter study to follow CD4 counts over time and determine whether low CD4 counts were associated with adverse outcomes. EXPERIMENTAL DESIGN Patients with newly diagnosed HGG had CD4 counts drawn before initiating standard therapy and monthly thereafter for 1 year. Information on hospitalizations, infections, glucocorticoid use, survival, and cause of death were also collected. RESULTS Ninety-six evaluable patients were accrued [85% glioblastoma, median age of 57, median Karnofsky performance status (KPS) = 90]. The median CD4 count before radiation and temozolomide treatment was 664 cells/mm(3). The CD4 count nadir occurred 2 months after initiating therapy when 73% of patients had CD4 counts less than 300 cells/mm(3) and 40% had less than 200 cells/mm(3). CD4 counts remained low throughout the year of follow-up. Patients with CD4 counts less than 200 cells/mm(3)at 2 months had shorter survival than those with higher counts (median: 13.1 vs. 19.7 months, P = 0.002). Median survival was related to CD4 toxicity grades (I = 23.8 months, II = 19.7 months, III-IV = 13.1 months, P = 0.009). The adjusted HR for death attributable to 2-month CD4 count below 200 was 1.66 (P = 0.03). Eighty-eight percent of deaths resulted from disease progression, whereas only 2.5% were due to infection. CONCLUSIONS Severe reductions in CD4 counts in patients with newly diagnosed HGG treated with radiation and temozolomide treatment are common, treatment-related, long-lasting, and associated with early death from tumor progression.

Abstract
Immunosuppression is a known risk factor for B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL), yet mechanisms of tumor-associated immunosuppression remain to be fully characterized. We examined the immunophenotype of 40 NHL patients and 27 age-matched healthy volunteers to better understand systemic immune suppression. NHL peripheral blood mononuclear cells had significantly decreased interferon-γ production and proliferation. This suppression was not the result of regulatory T cells, interleukin-6 or interleukin-10, as these factors were not different between NHL and healthy volunteers (controls). We were able to restore T-cell proliferation by removing NHL monocytes, suggesting that these monocytes are suppressive. This suppression was mediated in part through arginine metabolism as exogenous arginine supplementation partially overcame monocytes' suppression of T-cell proliferation in vitro and NHL patients had elevated arginase I in their plasma. NHL monocytes had impaired STAT1 phosphorylation and interferon-α production to CpG stimulation and a dendritic cell differentiation deficiency. Further studies demonstrated that monocytes from NHL patients had decreased HLA-DR and Tumor necrosis factor-α receptor II (CD120b) expression compared with controls (CD14(+)HLA-DR(low/-)CD120b(low)). Patients with increased ratios of CD14(+)HLA-DR(low/-) monocytes had more aggressive disease and suppressed immune functions. In summary, we report that CD14(+)HLA-DR(low/-) monocytes are a major and multifactorial contributor to systemic immunosuppression in NHL.

Abstract
Keratinocyte growth factor (KGF), which is given exogenously to allogeneic bone marrow transplantation (allo-BMT) recipients, supports thymic epithelial cells and increases thymic output of naive T cells. Here, we demonstrate that this improved T-cell reconstitution leads to enhanced responses to DNA plasmid tumor vaccination. Tumor-bearing mice treated with KGF and DNA vaccination have improved long-term survival and decreased tumor burden after allo-BMT. When assayed before vaccination, KGF-treated allo-BMT recipients have increased numbers of peripheral T cells, including CD8(+) T cells with vaccine-recognition potential. In response to vaccination, KGF-treated allo-BMT recipients, compared with control subjects, generate increased numbers of tumor-specific CD8(+) cells, as well as increased numbers of CD8(+) cells producing interferon-gamma (IFN-gamma) and tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-alpha). We also found unanticipated benefits to antitumor immunity with the administration of KGF. KGF-treated allo-BMT recipients have an improved ratio of T effector cells to regulatory T cells, a larger fraction of effector cells that display a central memory phenotype, and effector cells that are derived from a broader T-cell-receptor repertoire. In conclusion, our data suggest that KGF can function as a potent vaccine adjuvant after allo-BMT through its effects on posttransplantation T-cell reconstitution.

Abstract
The prognostic value of absolute lymphocytic count (ALC), has been a recent matter of debate in non-Hodgkin-lymphoma (NHL). We assessed prospectively the value of ALC at diagnosis and also after the completion of immuno-chemotherapy in 101 diffuse-large-B-cell-lymphoma (DLBCL). Analysis of prognostic factors with respect to overall survival (OS), event free survival (EFS) and progression free survival (PFS) was done by two-tailed log-rank test. The ALC cut-off value was calculated as <0.84 x 10(9)/L at diagnosis: this was a strong negative prognostic factor for OS (p = 0.0004), EFS (p < 0.00001) and PFS (p < 0.00001) and in multivariate analysis was independent from the revised-international-prognostic-index (R-IPI). ALC after chemo-immunotherapy was not of prognostic value. As R-IPI and ALC < 0.84 x 10(9)/L, were the factors better discriminating poor prognosis, a new trichotomous score (ALC/R-IPI) was built up: (1) low risk: R-IPI = very good or good and ALC < 0.84 x 10(9)/L; (2) intermediate risk: patients with at least one risk factor (R-IPI = poor or ALC < 0.84 x 10(9)/L). (3) high risk: patients with both risk factors. This new prognostic score was highly significant in univariate analysis for OS (p = 0.0002), EFS (p < 0.00001) and PFS (p < 0.00001). In multivariate analysis ALC/R-IPI was the most predictive factor for OS (OR = 2.954; p = 0.002) and EFS (OR = 2.381; p < 0.00001) and the only predictive factor for PFS (OR = 4.018; p < 0.00001). Our data, show that ALC at diagnosis has a strong prognostic relevance and is independent from the R-IPI. The new score including both values proved the most powerful predictor at multivariate analysis.

Patients with chronic lymphocytic leukaemia (CLL) have a variable clinical course. The identification of modifiable characteristics related to CLL-specific survival may provide opportunities for therapeutic intervention. The absolute number of T-cell and natural killer (NK)-cells was calculated for 166 consecutive patients with CLL evaluated by flow cytometry at Mayo Clinic < or = 2 months of diagnosis. The size of the T-cell/NK-cell compartment relative to the size of the malignant monoclonal B-cell (MBC) compartment was evaluated by calculating NK:MBC and T:MBC ratios. Patients exhibited substantial variation in the absolute number of T- and NK-cells as well as T:MBC and NK:MBC ratios at diagnosis. Higher T:MBC and NK:MBC ratios were observed among patients with early stage and mutated IGHV genes (all P < or = 0.0003). As continuous variables, both T:MBC ratio (P-value = 0.03) and NK:MBC ratio (P-value = 0.02) were associated with time to treatment (TTT). On multivariate Cox modelling including stage, CD38, absolute MBC count, NK:MBC ratio and T:MBC ratio, the independent predictors of TTT were stage, T:MBC ratio and NK:MBC ratio. These findings suggest that measurable characteristics of the host immune system relate to the rate of disease progression in patients with newly diagnosed CLL. These characteristics can be modified and continued evaluation of immunomodulatory drugs, vaccination strategies and cellular therapies to delay/prevent disease progression are warranted.
