Abstract
Profenofos (PFF) is a commonly used organophosphorus insecticide that requires strict monitoring due to its potential environmental, ecological, and human health risks originating from residues in soil and water systems, as well as accumulation in crops. In this study, a novel monoclonal antibody (mAb) specific to PFF was prepared for the first time and the recognition mechanism was investigated through molecular simulation. Subsequently, a mAb-based colloidal gold immunochromatographic assay (GICA) was developed for the rapid screening of PFF in fruit and vegetable samples. The mAb exhibited an IC50 value of 12.9 ng/mL, and limit of detection (LOD) of 4.6 ng/mL, respectively in indirect competitive immunosorbent enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ic-ELISA). After optimization, the developed GICA exhibited a visual limit of detection (vLOD) of 20 ng/mL and a quantitative of detection (qLOD) of 5.2 ng/mL, with a linear range from 10.0 to 83.8 ng/mL. Good correlation was observed between the results of GICA and standard Gas Chromatography-Tandem Mass Spectrometry (GC-MS/MS) in matrix and recovery test. The developed GICA can be used for rapid sample detection within 15 min, which is an excellent tool for screening PFF in foods and environmental samples.

Abstract
Bisphenol S (BPS) is a common pollutant in the environment and has posed a potential threat to aquatic animals and human health. To accurately assess the pollution level and ecological risk of BPS, there is an urgent need to establish simple and sensitive detection methods for BPS. In this study, BPS complete antigen was successfully prepared by introducing methyl 4-bromobutyrate and coupling bovine serum albumin (BSA). The monoclonal antibody against BPS (anti-BPS mAb) with high affinity (1: 256,000) was developed based on the BPS complete antigen, which showed low cross-reactivity with BPS structural analogues. Then, an electrochemical immunosensor was constructed to detect BPS using multi-walled carbon nanotubes and gold nanoflower composites as signal amplification elements and using anti-BPS mAb as the probe. The electrochemical immunosensor had a linear range from 1 to 250 ng⋅mL-1 and a limit of detection (LOD) down to 0.6 ng⋅mL-1. Additionally, a more stable and sensitive lateral flow immunoassay (LFIA) for BPS was developed based on iridium oxide nanoparticles, with a visual detection limit of 1 ng⋅mL-1, which was 10 times lower than that of classical Au-NPs LFIA. After evaluation of their stability and specificity, the reliability of these two methods were further validated by measuring BPS concentrations in the water and fish tissues. Thus, this study provides sensitive, robust and rapid methods for the detection of BPS in the environment and organisms, which can provide a methodological reference for monitoring environmental contaminants.

Abstract
Bisphenol A diglycidyl ether (BADGE) is widely present in the inner coating of metal food cans, from which it can migrate into food and generate harmful derivatives during storage, such as bisphenol A (2,3-dihydroxypropyl) glycidyl ether, bisphenol A (3-chloro-2-hydroxypropyl) glycidyl ether, and bisphenol A (3-chloro-2-hydroxypropyl) (2,3-dihydroxypropyl) glycidyl ether. Here, a gold-nanoparticle-based immunochromatographic strip assay based on a broad-spectrum polyclonal antibody was developed for the simultaneous detection of BADGE and its derivatives, which could be accomplished within 15 min. The quantitative analysis of the visualization results was performed using Adobe Photoshop CC 2021, and the detection limit, defined as the concentration causing 15% inhibition, was 0.97 ng/mL. The recoveries of BADGE and its derivatives at various spiking levels in canned food samples ranged from 79.86% to 93.81%. The detection results of the proposed immunochromatographic strip assay were validated via high-performance liquid chromatography, showing a good correlation coefficient (R2 = 0.9580).

Abstract
In the study, we discovered zoxamide hapten (ZOX-hapten) by introducing a carboxyl extension chain, combined it with protein to make a complete antigen to immunize mice, and generated a monoclonal antibody (mAb) against ZOX. To identify ZOX residues in grape, tomato, and cucumber samples, we used our anti-ZOX mAb to develop a lateral flow immunoassay (LFIA) strip. In grape, tomato, and cucumber samples, the calculated detection limit of the LFIA strip in grape, tomato and cucumber samples was 3.44, 4.78 and 3.53 ng/g, respectively. Using the LFIA strip, the recovery rate from grape samples was 96.4-106.8%, and that from tomato samples was 98.4-107.5%, while the recovery from cucumber samples was 99.4-111.3%. These results showed that our LFIA strip could be expected to achieve rapid screening of ZOX residues in fruits and vegetables.

Abstract
Bisphenol A (BPA) and its four analogues have been receiving considerable attention owing to their potential endocrine disrupting effects. The European Food Safety Authority has proposed 0.04 ng/kg·body weight/day of thetemporary tolerable daily intake for BPA. Therefore, a more sensitive analytical method was urgently needed for the necessity of the risk reassessment of bisphenols (BPs). The matrix effect of Chinese foods is a challenge for the analysis of ultra-trace analytes due to the presence of various spices. A multi-immunoaffinity column (mIAC) was prepared for the purification of BPA, BPB, BPF, BPS, and BPAF in Chinese foods following ultra-high-performance liquid chromatography tandem mass spectrometry detection (UHLPC-MS/MS). The recoveries of each of BPs were ranged from 84.6% to 116.7%, and the intra-day precision and inter-day precision were ranged from 1.6% to 12.4%, and from 4.1% to 14.0%, respectively. This is the first report on the mIACs for simultaneous clean-up and analysis of BPs in complex Chinese foods.

Abstract
Amanitin (AMA) is responsible for human fatalities after ingestion of poisonous mushrooms, thus, a rapid and accurate detection method is urgently needed. Here, gold nanoparticle-based immunosensor with monoclonal antibody against AMA was constructed for rapid detection of alpha- and beta-amanitin (α- and β-AMA) in mushroom, serum and urine samples. Under optimized conditions, the visual limits of detection (vLOD) and calculated LOD for α-AMA and β-AMA in mushroom were 10 ng/g, 20 ng/g, and 0.1 ng/g, 0.2 ng/g, respectively. Analysis of wild mushroom samples was also performed using a strip scan reader in the 10 min range. Furthermore, in mushrooms containing amatoxins results were confirmed and compared with those determined by liquid chromatography tandem mass spectrometry. Thus, this immunosensor provided a useful monitoring tool for rapid detection and screening of mushroom samples and in serum and urine from subjects who accidentally consumed AMA-containing mushrooms.

Abstract
In order to effectively control the excessive use of organic arsenic reagents in livestock and poultry products, there is an urgent need to develop a method for rapid detection of multiple organic arsenic reagents. In this study, two haptens were designed and derivatized around the structural formula of roxarsone, and a highly-sensitive group-selective mAb 3F2 was prepared, which can simultaneously detect roxarsone, 4-aminophenylarsonic acid, 2-aminophenylarsonic acid and phenylarsonic acid. We further developed a colloidal gold immunochromatographic test strip (ICS) and prepared a five-link card that can simultaneously detect four organic arsenics in chicken and pork samples. Its quantitative detection limits (LOQ) for the four compounds in chicken and pork samples were 0.06 and 0.32 ng/mL, 0.11 and 0.29 ng/mL, 0.34 and 0.99 ng/mL, and 0.88 and 1.5 ng/mL, respectively. This multi-ICS detection provides a powerful tool for the on-site detection and rapid screening of organic arsenic reagents in actual samples.

Abstract
This study evaluated the release of bisphenol S (BPS) from polyethersulfone (PES) and polyphenylsulfone microplastics (MPs) derived from baby bottles under UV irradiation. Released BPS fluctuates over time because it undergoes photolysis under UV254 irradiation. Under UV365 irradiation, the highest released concentration at 50 °C was 1.7 and 3.2 times that at 35 and 25 °C, respectively, as the activation energy of the photochemical reactions responsible for MP decay was reduced at high temperatures. Low concentrations of humic acid (HA, ≤10 mg·L-1) promote BPS release because HA acts as a photosensitizer. A high concentration of HA (10∼50 mg·L-1) decreases the BPS release because HA shields MPs from light and scavenges reactive radicals that are produced via photochemical reactions. For example, under UV irradiation, hydroxyl radicals (•OH) attack results in the breakage of ether bonds and the formation of phenyl radicals (Ph•) and phenoxy radicals (Ph-O•).The•OH addition and hydrogen extractions further produce BPS from the decayed MPs. A leaching kinetics model was developed and calibrated by the experimental data. The calibrated model predicts the equilibrium level of BPS release from MPs that varies with the surface coverage density of BPS and leaching rate constants. This study provides groundwork that deepens our understanding of environmental aging and the chemical release of MPs.

Abstract
To ensure food quality and prevent histamine (HA) toxicity, a rapid and direct method of detecting HA is required. In this work, we prepared a monoclonal antibody (mAb) against HA using a hapten produced by the introduction of a phenyl-containing linker. The novel mAb exhibited high sensitivity against HA as determined by ELISA, with a half-maximal inhibitory concentration of 21.51 ng/mL. A gold nanoparticle-based immunosensor was fabricated for rapid detection of HA in fish samples. After optimizing the immunosensor, a visual limit of detection (LOD) and a calculated LOD were 0.25 mg/kg and 10.48 μg/kg for HA, respectively. Recovery rates from the spiked fish samples ranged from 87.33% to 104.67% with the coefficient of variation below 10.82%. Concurrently, the whole process in testing real sample was completed within 15 min, and all results were well confirmed and comparable by liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry and the commercial test strip. These data revealed that the proposed immunosensor could be used as a monitoring tool for the rapid and direct detection of HA in fish samples.

Abstract
Based on the successful derivation of a hapten, we prepared and optimized a murine monoclonal antibody against imidocarb, with an IC50 of 2.22 ng/mL and a limit of detection (LOD) of 0.45 ng/mL. Cross-experiment results showed that the cross-over rate for 4,4'-dinitrocarbanilide was 18.12%, and the cross-reactivity with other analogues when using the ic ELISA was less than 0.1%. We used the developed ic-ELISA to detect the addition and recovery of imidocarb in milk and beef samples, and values were 86.0-93.5 and 84.5-101.2%, respectively. The preparation of an immunochromatographic test strip based on gold nanoparticles was used for the rapid identification of imidocarb in milk and beef samples. When assessed by the naked eye, the visual LOD for imidocarb in milk and beef samples was 5 and 10 ng/mL, and the cut-off values were 20 and 50 ng/mL, respectively. Because of its high sensitivity, specificity, and simplicity, the test strip can be used for on-site testing and rapid screening of imidocarb in food samples.
