Abstract
OBJECTIVE The values of a field are reflected in the science it publishes. The goal of this study was to present a historical analysis of the extent to which the field of clinical neuropsychology publishes journals with titles that address culture in the context of brain function and behavior between 2010 and 2020. METHODS Titles from articles published in 13 neuropsychology journals from 2010-2020 were collected and coded with regard to culture and multicultural content. The aims of the study were to (1) determine how often cultural or multicultural topics were represented in journal titles, (2) determine if cultural or multicultural content in neuropsychology journal publication titles increased over time, and (3) to explore other neuropsychological content that was most and least likely to appear in publications pertaining to culture or multicultural issues. RESULTS Results indicated that titles for publications in clinical neuropsychology journals with content relevant to cultural or multicultural neuropsychology represented 1.1% to 13.4% of titles across the 13 journals. The number of cultural/multicultural titles increased over time. The number of cultural/multicultural titles per journal was not significantly correlated with the journal impact factor. Normative data were addressed significantly more often in cultural/multicultural titles versus non-cultural/multicultural titles, whereas psychiatric issues were addressed significantly less often. CONCLUSIONS There are many actions that clinical neuropsychologists can take to increase the field's attention to the effects of culture on brain function and behavior. It is vital to update our data from 2021 to the present, given the substantial increase in awareness of social justice issues that occurred since 2020.

Abstract
Cognitive intra-individual variability (IIV) is a sensitive marker of neuropathology and is increased in people with HIV (PWH). In a sample of PWH from the United States Deep South, we examined the relationship of cognitive IIV with cognitive impairment and social determinants of health (SDoH). This secondary analysis included 131 PWH from a larger cognitive training protocol. Our primary outcome measure was the coefficient of variation (CoV). We also included the individual standard deviation (iSD), with both calculated from demographically adjusted T-scores and unadjusted sample-based scores. Mixed-effects models investigated the relationship between IIV and cognitive impairment severity (i.e., Global Rating Score), SDoH, and clinical variables. Bivariate correlations were used to further explore these relationships. Greater cognitive IIV was associated with greater cognitive impairment in PWH, when accounting for demographic factors. When IIV is calculated from the sample, then IIV is no longer associated with cognitive impairment, but is associated with race (>IIV in Black and African American participants). Demographically adjusted IIV is associated with global cognition, Wide Range Achievement Test-Fourth Edition reading score, and viral load (iSD only). No correlations were significant when using the unadjusted sample-based IIV metrics. In PWH from the Deep South, greater cognitive variability is seen in those with greater cognitive impairment, in Black participants, and in those with lower reading scores. Further research on the psychometric properties of IIV in HIV and other populations is needed, as results varied depending on the normative adjustments.

Abstract
PURPOSE Despite advances in screening and awareness, Black and multiracial families continue to experience challenges when seeking an autism diagnosis for their children. METHODS We surveyed 400 Black and multiracial families of young children with autism from an existing research database in the United States about their retrospective diagnostic experiences. We gathered quantitative and qualitative data and engaged in iterative coding to understand timing and content of first concerns, families' experiences of care providers and systems, and the impact of race and culture on accessing care. RESULTS Families provided examples of early developmental concern and described provider, systemic, and cultural barriers and facilitators to care. Families also provided insight into the influence of culture and made recommendations on how the medical system could better care for Black and multiracial families of children with autism. CONCLUSIONS Results add to a growing body of literature supporting the need for culturally sensitive and accessible care related to developmental monitoring, diagnosis, and follow-up care for Black and multiracial children.

Abstract
Objective: Ethnic minorities comprise approximately 18% of the UK population and are at high risk of developing neurological conditions. Despite this, there is little information regarding their access to neuropsychology services. This study evaluated whether ethnic minorities were proportionally represented in a tertiary neuropsychology department in the UK in accordance with census data for the region. We also aimed to highlight which ethnic groups were over- and underrepresented. Method: Anonymised demographic data of 3429 outpatient and 3304 inpatient referrals to an adult UK neuropsychology department was collected. These data were compared to the 2021 UK census data for the region. Results: Ethnicities in both the outpatient referrals (χ2(15) = 24066.55, p < .001) and inpatient referrals (χ2(15) = 35940924.75, p < .001) are significantly different from the Census. All ethnic minorities were underrepresented in adult neuropsychology referral data for both outpatient settings (-0.06% to -4.66%) and inpatient settings (-0.01% to -4.99%). Pakistani individuals were the most underrepresented across all settings, followed by individuals from an African background. Conversely, individuals of White British ethnicity were overrepresented in both outpatient settings (+10.73%) and inpatient settings (+15.68%). Conclusions: The UK ethnic minorities were not referred to a neuropsychology service relative to regional population prevalence. This contradicts their increased susceptibility for risk of neurological conditions but may also indicate the inaccessibility of neuroscience services for ethnic minorities. Replicating this study across different regions and gathering data on prevalence rates for different neurological conditions across ethnicity is recommended. Additionally, improving accessibility of neuropsychology services for British ethnic minorities should be prioritised.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE To identify cognitive phenotypes in late-life depression (LLD) and describe relationships with sociodemographic and clinical characteristics. DESIGN Observational cohort study. SETTING Baseline data from participants recruited via clinical referrals and community advertisements who enrolled in two separate studies. PARTICIPANTS Non-demented adults with LLD (n = 120; mean age = 66.73 ± 5.35 years) and non-depressed elders (n = 56; mean age = 67.95 ± 6.34 years). MEASUREMENTS All completed a neuropsychological battery, and individual cognitive test scores were standardized across the entire sample without correcting for demographics. Five empirically derived cognitive domain composites were created, and cluster analytic approaches (hierarchical, k-means) were independently conducted to classify cognitive patterns in the depressed cohort only. Baseline sociodemographic and clinical characteristics were then compared across groups. RESULTS A three-cluster solution best reflected the data, including "High Normal" (n = 47), "Reduced Normal" (n = 35), and "Low Executive Function" (n = 37) groups. The "High Normal" group was younger, more educated, predominantly Caucasian, and had fewer vascular risk factors and higher Mini-Mental Status Examination compared to "Low Executive Function" group. No differences were observed on other sociodemographic or clinical characteristics. Exploration of the "High Normal" group found two subgroups that only differed in attention/working memory performance and length of the current depressive episode. CONCLUSIONS Three cognitive phenotypes in LLD were identified that slightly differed in sociodemographic and disease-specific variables, but not in the quality of specific symptoms reported. Future work on these cognitive phenotypes will examine relationships to treatment response, vulnerability to cognitive decline, and neuroimaging markers to help disentangle the heterogeneity seen in this patient population.
