Abstract
The 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition reaction of bis-hydrazonyl chlorides with methyl propiolate afforded dimethyl 1,1¢-aryl-3,3`-bipyrazole-4,4`-dicarboxylates (5a,b). Heating the later compound 5a with a mixture of HCl/AcOH gave 3,3`-bipyrazole-5,5`-dicarboxylic acid derivative 6. Treatment of the hydrazonoyl chloride (1a) and 3,3`-bipyrazole-5,5`-dicarboxylic acid (6) with palladium(II) chloride gave the corresponding Pd-complexes 7 and 8, respectively. The catalytic activity of the prepared Pd-complexes was examined in the Suzuki cross-coupling reaction of phenylboronic acid with activated and deactivated aryl(hetaryl) bromides. The catalyst system provides very good to excellent yields, 85-94%. The structures of the obtained products were established from their elemental analysis, spectral data, XPS, EDX, and single crystal X-ray crystallography. Crystal data for C10H7N2O2 (6): triclinic, space group P-1 (no. 2), a = 3.9956(10) Å, b = 9.8917(18) Å, c = 10.810(3) Å, α = 94.167(15)°, β = 94.979(19)°, γ = 98.953(15)°, V = 418.83(16) Å3, Z = 2, T = 296.(2) K, μ(Cu Kα) = 0.887 mm-1, Dcalc = 1.484 g/cm3, 5469 reflections measured (11.72° ≤ 2Θ ≤ 133.24°), 1420 unique (Rint = 0.0633, Rsigma = 7.24%) which were used in all calculations. The final R1 was 0.1055 (>2sigma(I)) and wR2 was 0.3620 (all data).

Abstract
AbstractNew pyrazoles have been synthesized and evaluated as breast cancer cell growth inhibitors. Condensation of the substituted pyrazole-4-carbaldehyde1with acetophenone and chloroacetophenone afforded α, β-unsaturated ketones2and3, respectively. Compounds2and3were subjected to different reactions using hydrazine hydrate, substituted hydrazine hydrate, hydroxylamine,o-phenylenediamine, malononitrile under different conditions affording 4-substituted pyrazole derivatives4–28. Structure elucidation of these compounds was conducted using IR,1H NMR,13C NMR, mass spectral data and elemental analysis. Antitumor activity of target compounds was tested against MCF-7 cell line (human breast cancer). Compounds4,10and20show significant antitumor activity against breast cancer. Docking was performed with protein 1UYK to study the binding mode of the designed compounds.

Abstract
In search of potential therapeutics for cancer, we described herein the synthesis, characterization, and in vitro anticancer activity of a novel series of curcumin analogues. The anticancer effects were evaluated on a panel of 60 cell lines, according to the National Cancer Institute (NCI) screening protocol. There were 10 tested compounds among 14 synthesized compounds, which showed potent anticancer activity in both one-dose and 5-dose assays. The most active compound of the series was 3,5-bis(4-hydroxy-3-methylstyryl)-1H-pyrazole-1-yl(phenyl)methanone (10) which showed mean growth percent of −28.71 in one-dose assay and GI50 values between 0.0079 and 1.86 µM in 5-dose assay.

Abstract
In this work novel organic based compounds, acyl thiourea derivatives were synthesized and their anticancer activities were investigated. A new series of acyl thiourea derivatives containing pyrazole ring were prepared in good yield through one pot reaction of 4-benzoyl-1, 5-diphenyl-1H-pyrazole-3-carbonyl chloride with ammonium thiocyanate and various amines. The structures of the newly synthesized compounds were confirmed by IR, (1)H NMR, (13)C NMR and elemental analysis. Anticancer activities of synthesized compounds were evaluated on human colon, liver and leukemia cancer cell lines. Cell culture studies have demonstrated significant toxicity of the compounds on the cell lines, and the levels of toxicity have altered in the presence of various side groups. These results confirm that novel pyrazolyl acyl thioureas derived compounds may be utilized for cancer treatment. Furthermore, these compounds have a great potential and significance for further investigations.

Abstract
Pyrazolealdehydes (4a-d), Knoevenagel's condensates (5a-d) and Schiff's bases (6a-d) of curcumin-I were synthesized, purified and characterized. Hemolysis assays, cell line activities, DNA bindings and docking studies were carried out. These compounds were lesser hemolytic than standard drug doxorubicin. Minimum cell viability (MCF-7; wild) observed was 59% (1.0 μg/mL) whereas the DNA binding constants ranged from 1.4×10(3) to 8.1×10(5) M(-1). The docking energies varied from -7.30 to -13.4 kcal/mol. It has been observed that DNA-compound adducts were stabilized by three governing forces (Van der Wall's, H-bonding and electrostatic attractions). It has also been observed that compounds 4a-d preferred to enter minor groove while 5a-d and 6a-d interacted with major grooves of DNA. The anticancer activities of the reported compounds might be due to their interactions with DNA. These results indicated the bright future of the reported compounds as anticancer agents.
