Abstract
INTRODUCTION Ameloblastoma is a slow-growing benign odontogenic tumor of the jaws. The objectives of this study were to evaluate the epidemiological data of ameloblastoma in Kedah, to identify the clinicopathological characteristics that predict the outcome of the treatment and recurrence rate. METHODOLOGY A retrospective cohort study was conducted for patients who underwent treatment for ameloblastoma from 2007 to 2021. All patients with histopathologically proven ameloblastoma and underwent at least 2 years of follow-up were included in the study. RESULTS Fifty-one patients met the study's inclusion criteria. The mean age was 39.8 +/- 18.8 years old, and the mean follow-up period was 80 +/- 51 months. A recurrence was observed in 10 patients out of 51 patients (19.6%). There was significant association between histologic pattern and tumor recurrence ( P <0.05). Most of the recurrence cases showed mixed histologic subtypes with the predominant variant lead by acanthomatous-follicular subtypes. DISCUSSION The recurrence rate in our study, 19.6% was in line with other studies. (17.2%-24.0%) Conventional ameloblastoma with mixed acanthomatous and follicular subtypes were the most common histologic variant in recurrence cases of our study. In our study, the recurrence rate for enucleation with peripheral ostectomy was 26.7% in conventional ameloblastoma, which was lower than the reported rates, 33.3%. CONCLUSIONS Our data indicate that the conservative treatment can preserve the appearance and function well, at the same time keeping the risk of recurrence lower than currently published figures.

Abstract
Background: The most common odontogenic tumor is the solid ameloblastoma. This is concerning due to the progressive bone destruction in its intraosseous variant; this type of pathology often gets a delayed diagnosis due to the asymptomatic characteristic it has. Objective: The aim of the article is to propose a conservative treatment for multicystic ameloblastoma, reviewing the latest concepts, controversies, and treatment options described in the literature. Case Report: A patient arrives to our department with a diagnosis of unicystic ameloblastoma, so decompression and subsequent enucleation were decided as treatment. However, the new histopathological result was a multicystic ameloblastoma; with this result, we decided to continue with the initial treatment, which in fact had an adequate response. A 5-month radiographic follow-up was performed in which a decrease in size was evident and enucleation was decided. The postoperative results were favorable after a 2.5-year follow-up. Conclusion: The solid ameloblastoma may have a cystic component, in which there is the possibility of diagnostic errors when studying an incisional biopsy; for this reason, the definitive diagnosis should be established until complete enucleation of the lesion is performed. This characteristic in a solid ameloblastoma makes possible a positive response to decompression, making it easier to perform the enucleation subsequently, avoiding other aggressive treatments that can dramatically affect the patient's quality of life and also avoiding costly reconstruction bills.

Abstract
Ameloblastoma is a rare, benign, but locally aggressive odontogenic tumor that originates from the epithelial cells involved in tooth development. The surgical approach to treating an ameloblastoma depends on the type, size, location, and extent of the tumor, as well as the patient's age and overall health. This umbrella review's aim is to summarize the findings from systematic reviews (SRs) and meta-analyses on the effect of radical or conservative treatment of ameloblastoma on the recurrence rate and quality of life, to evaluate the methodological quality of the included SRs and discuss the clinical management. Three electronic databases (PubMed, Scopus, The Cochrane Library) were checked. The primary outcome was the recurrence rate after surgical treatment, while the secondary outcomes were the post-operative complications, quality of life, esthetic, and functional impairment. The methodological quality of the included SRs was assessed using the updated version of "A Measurement Tool to Assess Systematic Review" (AMSTAR-2). Eighteen SRs were included. The quality of the included reviews ranged from critically low (three studies) to high (eight studies). Four studies were included in meta-analysis, and they revealed that the recurrence rate is about three-times more likely in the conservative treatment group compared to the radical treatment group, and this result is statistically significant. Despite the high recurrence rate, the latter was more appropriate in the case of smaller lesions and younger patients, due to better post-operative quality of life and reduced functional and esthetic impairments. Based on the results of this overview, conservative treatment may be recommended as the first-line approach for intraosseous ameloblastoma not involving soft tissue. However, given the expectation of a higher recurrence rate, it is advisable to reduce the interval between follow-up visits. However, further prospective studies are needed to establish the best treatment choice and follow-up period.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE Aim: To study the specifics of the impact of immediate intraoperative loading with a splinting component on supporting tissues during a one-stage implantation protocol. PATIENTS AND METHODS Materials and Methods: In the course of the study, orthopedic treatment was carried out for 55 patients aged 29 to 60 years. The following were performed: cone-beam computed tomography, software planning and intraoral scanning with an optical scanner, one-stage implantation protocol, assessment of implant stability with the Osstell ISQ device, microcirculation study in the peri-implant area using laser Doppler flowmetry (LDF). RESULTS Results: It was established that around loaded implants there is an increase in blood flow and vasomotor activity of the microcirculatory channel of the supporting tissues, an increase in the volume of bone tissue and an increase in torque, which is the optimal forecast for the acceleration of the pace of osseointegration. CONCLUSION Conclusions: The use of a splinting component during immediate intraoperative functional masticatory load accelerates the dynamics of bone tissue remodeling processes around the implant, which is an optimal prediction of osseointegration rates in various dental implantation protocols and is consistent with high values of the implant stability coefficient.

Abstract
Introduction The aim of this study was to evaluate the influence of different implant morphologies and immediate provisionalization options on the change of implant stability. Methods 94 Patients were randomized to receive implants from Straumann® BL/Straumann® BLT/Astra OsseoSpeed® TX, meanwhile having the same opportunity to receive healing abutment or immediate provisionalization. Implant stability quotient (ISQ) and marginal bone loss (MBL) were recorded at following timepoints. Parametric statistic was used for data analysis. Results Data showed that ISQ and MBL values of conical/straight/straight with micro-thread neck implants had no significant difference. Discussion Immediate provisionalization options could move the dip point of ISQ values ahead or delayed around one week, which were also relevant to implant systems. MBL values were proved to be unaffected by both two factors mentioned above.

Abstract
ABSTRACT Intravascular papillary endothelial hyperplasia (IPEH) is a lesion characterized by the proliferation of endothelial cells within the lumen of the vessel, it was first described by Masson in 1923.The pathogenesis of Masson's tumor is still unknown, currently the most accredited hypothesis is the reactive 1. Clinically and symptomatologically it can have different presentations, it is, therefore, of fundamental importance to make a correct differential diagnosis. Diagnosis is mainly based on histological criteria. Intravascular papillary endothelial hyperplasia usually occurs in the skin and subcutaneous tissues, less commonly in the skeleton. The present is the fifth case of intravascular papillary endothelial hyperplasia of the mandible.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Odontogenic keratocyst (OKC) can be classified as an oral lesion representing the third most common cyst of the jaws characterized by a high rate of recurrence. OKC was accepted as a neoplastic lesion in the 2005 WHO classification and it was called keratocystic odontogenic tumor (KCOT). However, in the 2017 classification of odontogenic tumors, OKC was moved back into the cyst category. This study aimed to evaluate clinically, radiographically and through the histological examination, the healing of a patient with OKC who underwent surgery with a marsupialization approach. METHODS A 83-year-old female patient, presented deformation of the right hemi-mandibular region and paresthesia of the right hemi-labium. During intraoral examination it was possible to detect an eggshell crackle on palpation of the anterior edentulous mandible; moreover, the patient reported a growth of the lesion over time that prevented her from using the removable prosthesis. At the OPT it was possible to appreciate a unilocular area that extended from the parasymphyseal region to the right hemi-mandible. The CT scan showed massive erosion that only partially spared the lower cortex and involvement of the mental foramen. RESULTS Checks following surgery show healing also confirmed by instrumental check-ups. CONCLUSIONS Surely this study offers a valid alternative to more invasive and debilitating surgical treatments.
