Abstract
BACKGROUND The mapping technique significantly influences the detection rate of sentinel lymph nodes in cervical cancer. This study aims to evaluate the clinical efficacy of carbon nanoparticle suspensions (CNSs) in guiding sentinel lymph node biopsy (SLNB) for cervical cancer patients. METHODS Systematic search of China National Knowledge Infrastructure, Cqvip, Wanfang, PubMed, EMBASE, Web of Science, and the Cochrane Library from inception until June 2024. Studies on cervical cancer patients receiving SLNB with CNSs are included. An individual participant data meta-analysis was conducted. The protocol was prospectively registered on the International Prospective Register of Systematic Reviews (PROSPERO: CRD42024569290). RESULTS In total, 26 publications involving 1671 patients were analyzed. The overall detection rate of CNSs in SLNB for cervical cancer was 0.92, with bilateral and unilateral detection rates of 0.74 and 0.20, respectively. This detection rate exhibited a correlation with lesion size and the administration of neoadjuvant chemotherapy. The pooled sensitivity, specificity, positive likelihood ratio, and negative likelihood ratio were 0.93 (95% CI: 0.88-0.96, I2 = 35.89%), 1.00 (95% CI: 0.98-1.00, I2 = 90.01%), 216.84 (95% CI: 40.47-1161.85, I2 = 77.68%), and 0.07 (95% CI: 0.05-0.12, I2 = 54.96%), respectively. The area under the curve of the summary receiver operating characteristic curve was 0.97. No significant differences were found in subgroup analyses based on the method, time, and dose of CNS injection. However, significant publication bias was detected among the included studies based on Deeks' funnel plot [Slope (Bias) = -15.61, P = .001]. Nonetheless, sensitivity analysis confirmed the reliability and stability of the results. CONCLUSIONS This meta-analysis highlights the accuracy and feasibility of using CNSs for SLNB in patients with cervical cancer, particularly for lesions <2.0 cm and patients untreated with neoadjuvant chemotherapy.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE To compare the detection rates and diagnostic accuracy of sentinel lymph node (SLN) mapping using carbon dye and indocyanine green (ICG) in patients with early-stage endometrial cancer. METHODS The present study was a dual-center, prospective cohort study conducted between September 2021 and August 2022 involving patients with early-stage endometrial cancer. For SLN mapping, one center exclusively used carbon dye, while the other solely used ICG. Subsequently, all patients underwent complete systematic pelvic lymphadenectomy. The detection rates, sensitivity, and negative predictive value of SLN mapping were analyzed. RESULTS This study included 179 patients, of whom 89 (49.7%) were mapped using carbon dye and 90 (50.3%) were mapped using ICG laparoscopically. Unilateral detection rates of SLNs were similar, 94.4% (84/89) for carbon dye and 97.8% (88/90) for ICG (p = .25). In contrast, bilateral detection rates were significantly higher with carbon dye compared to ICG (82.0% [73/89] vs 64.4% [58/90], p = 0.008). The sensitivity and negative predictive value were both 100% for ICG and 83.3% and 98.8% for carbon dye, respectively. The empty node packet rate was 5.6% (5/90) for ICG and 0% (0/89) for carbon dye (p = .17). Although this difference did not reach statistical significance, all cases of empty node packets were observed in patients with successful unilateral but failed bilateral detection. CONCLUSIONS Carbon dye is a safe and effective agent for SLN mapping, demonstrating adequate detection rates, satisfactory sensitivity, and a high negative predictive value in patients with early-stage endometrial cancer. The use of carbon dye might reduce the rate of empty node packets, thereby enhancing the accuracy of nodal evaluation. While carbon dye may be a promising alternative tracer, particularly in low-resource settings, further comparative studies are needed to evaluate its cost-effectiveness relative to other widely used tracers, including blue dyes.

Abstract
Intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma (ICC) ranks as the second most primary liver cancer that often goes unnoticed with a high mortality rate. Hepatectomy is the main treatment for ICC, but only 15% of patients are suitable for surgery. Despite advancements in therapeutic approaches, ICC has an unfavorable prognosis, largely due to lymph node metastasis (LNM) that is closely linked to the elevated recurrence rates. Consequently, the identification of precise and suitable techniques for the detection and staging of LNM assumes paramount importance for ICC therapy. While preoperative imaging plays a crucial role in ICC diagnosis, its efficacy in accurately diagnosing LNM remains unsatisfactory. The inclusion of lymph node dissection as part of the hepatectomy procedures is significant for the accurate pathological diagnosis of LNM, although it continues to be a topic of debate. The concept of sentinel lymph node in ICC has presented a novel and potentially valuable approach for diagnosing LNM. This review aims to explore the current state and prospects of LNM in ICC, offering a promising avenue for enhancing the clinical diagnosis and treatment of ICC to improve patient prognosis.

Abstract
Objective Carbon nanoparticle (CNP)-guided sentinel lymph node biopsy (SLNB) has been extensively adopted as a cost-effective and highly efficient method for tracing malignant tumors except for those associated with vulvar cancer. The current study aimed to validate the feasibility and efficacy of CNPs in tracking sentinel lymph nodes (SLNs) in patients with early vulvar cancer. Methods We retrospectively reviewed patients with vulvar cancer at our institution from January 2016 to April 2022 who were pathologically diagnosed and underwent SLNB or inguinofemoral lymphadenectomy (IFLND). CNPs were the only lymphatic tracer used in SLNB. Patient demographics, perioperative outcomes and follow-up results, including overall survival (OS) and progression-free survival (PFS), were compared between the SLNB and IFLND groups. Results Data from 52 patients were collected and investigated. Forty groins of 22 patients who underwent SLNB with CNP tracing were included. Black-stained SLNs were detected in 32 groins of 19 patients, and the rates of CNP detection by patient and by groin were 86.4 % and 80 %, respectively. Patients who underwent SLNB had better perioperative outcomes than those who underwent IFLND in certain aspects (groin drainage rate: 41.2 % and 80 %, respectively, p < 0.05; daily drainage volume (ml): 12.49 and 36.4, respectively, p < 0.05; and inguinal wound healing rate: 100 % and 80 %, respectively, p < 0.05). The results of survival analysis indicated similar prognoses for node-negative patients who underwent CNP-guided SLNB or IFLND. Conclusions Sentinel lymph node mapping with CNPs in vulvar cancer is feasible and demonstrates considerable biosecurity. With a satisfactory SLN detection rate achieved expediently, CNPs are a promising lymphatic tracer worthy of further utilization in vulvar cancer and could be an alternative option to canonical tracers.

Abstract
We evaluated the efficacy of indocyanine green fluorescence imaging compared to that of traditional nanocarbon dyes in assessing peri-intestinal lymph node metastasis in patients with colorectal cancer, which is a key prognostic factor. The relationship between indocyanine green fluorescence imaging and histopathological outcomes in patients with colon cancer has also been explored. A retrospective analysis was conducted on 30 patients with colon cancer (from May to October 2023) confirmed by surgical pathology. Tumors were marked with indocyanine green (ICG) or nanocarbon via colonoscopy 16 to 24 hours before surgery. Within 15 minutes after surgery, peri-intestinal lymph node fluorescence imaging and hematoxylin and eosin staining were used to assess the distribution of cancer foci. The correlation between cancer foci distribution, fluorescence intensity, and area under the receiver operating characteristic curve was measured. Among 243 metastatic lymph nodes from 30 patients, 18 were found. After the patients were divided into metastatic and nonmetastatic groups, significant differences in tumor differentiation and stage were noted (P < .001). The fluorescence intensity was strongly correlated with the presence and proportion of metastasis (area under the receiver operating characteristic curve = 0.931), whereas nanocarbon staining showed no significant correlation (P = .81). All P values were two-sided, with P < .05 indicating statistical significance. Lymph nodes with malignant intestinal tumor metastasis displayed weaker ICG fluorescence than did nonmetastatic nodes. Combining ICG and nanocarbon staining techniques enhances intraoperative lymph node dissection and postoperative analysis, indicating their potential utility in colorectal cancer surgery.

Abstract
Background Lymphatic dyes are commonly used to map the drainage path from tumor to lymphatics, which are biopsied to determine if spread has occurred. A blue dye in combination with technetium-99 is considered the gold standard for mapping, although many other dyes and dye combinations are used. Not all of these substances have the same detection efficacy. Methods A systematic review of PubMed, SCOPUS, Web of Science, and Medline was performed. The predefined search terms were (indocyanine green OR isosulfan blue OR lymphazurin OR patent blue OR methylene blue OR fluorescein OR technetium-99) AND combination AND dye AND (sentinel lymph node biopsy OR lymphedema OR lymphatics OR lymph OR microsurgery OR cancer OR tumor OR melanoma OR carcinoma OR sarcoma). Results The initial search returned 4267 articles. From these studies, 37 were selected as candidates that met inclusion criteria. After a full-text review, 34 studies were selected for inclusion. Eighty-nine methods of sentinel lymph node (SLN) detection were trialed using 22 unique dyes, dye combinations, or other tracers. In total, 12,157 SLNs of 12,801 SLNs were identified. Dye accuracy ranged from 100% to 69.8% detection. Five dye combinations had 100% accuracy. Dye combinations were more accurate than single dyes. Conclusions Combining lymphatic dyes improves SLN detection results. Replacing technetium-99 with ICG may allow for increased access to SLN procedures with comparable results. The ideal SLN tracer is a low-cost molecule with a high affinity for lymphatic vessels due to size and chemical composition, visualization without specialized equipment, and no adverse effects.

Abstract
PURPOSE Depiction of pelvic lymph node metastasis (LNM) sites among patients with cervical cancer facilitates accurate determination of the extent of dissection and radiotherapy regimens. METHODS A retrospective study of 1182 cervical cancer patients who underwent radical hysterectomy and pelvic lymph node dissection between 2008 and 2018 was performed. The number of removed pelvic lymph nodes and metastasis status in different anatomical regions was analyzed. The prognostic difference of patients with lymph node involvement stratified by various factors was analyzed by Kaplan-Meier method. RESULTS The median number of pelvic lymph nodes detected was 22, mainly from obturator (29.54%) and inguinal (21.14%) sites. Metastatic pelvic lymph nodes were found in 192 patients, with obturator accounting for the highest percentage (42.86%). The patients with lymph node involvement in single site had better prognosis that those in multiple sites. The overall- (P = 0.021) (OS) and progression-free (P < 0.001) survival (PFS) curves of patients with inguinal lymph node metastases were worse compared to those with obturator site. There was no difference in the OS and PFS among patients with 2 and more than 2 lymph nodes involvement. CONCLUSION An explicit map of LNM in patients with cervical cancer was presented in this study. Obturator lymph nodes tended to be involved. The prognosis of patients with inguinal lymph node involvement was poor in contrast to that with obturator LNM. In patients with inguinal lymph node metastases, clinical staging needs to be reconsidered and extended radiotherapy to the inguinal region needs to be strengthened.

Abstract
Cervical diseases such as lymph node disease and tubal obstruction have threatened women's health. However, the traditional diagnostic methods still have shortcomings. NIR-II fluorescence imaging with advantages of low scattering, negligible autofluorescence, and high spatial resolution could be an ideal option. To obtain high quality NIR-II fluorescence imaging, selecting appropriate nanoprobes becomes the important issue. As a small molecular photothermal agent, extensive applications of ICG are rather limited because of its drawbacks. Herein, natural silk fibroin (SF) was synthesized and encapsulated ICG molecules to form SF@ICG nanoparticles (NPs). After detailed analysis, SF@ICG NPs showed excellent stability and long circulation time, as well as strong NIR-II fluorescence emission, well photo-stability, biocompatibility and well photothermal property under 808 nm laser irradiation. Furthermore, SF@ICG NPs were utilized for NIR-II fluorescence imaging of lymph node/lymphangiography and angiography of fallopian tubes. The process of fallopian tubes could be detected with high resolution and high sensitivity.

Abstract
INTRODUCTION This retrospective study aims to investigate the feasibility of using carbon nanoparticles to detect sentinel lymph nodes (SLNs) in cervical cancer. METHODS This study involved 174 patients with cervical cancer. Cervix tissues adjacent to the cancer were injected with 1 mL of carbon nanoparticles (CNPs) at the 3 and 9 o'clock positions according to the instructions. The pelvic lymph nodes were then dissected, and the black-stained sentinel lymph nodes were sectioned for pathological examination. RESULTS Of 174 cases, 88.5% of patients (154/174) had at least 1 sentinel lymph node, and 131 patients (75.29%) had bilateral pelvic sentinel lymph nodes. The left pelvic lymph node was the most common sentinel lymph node (34.16%). At least 1 sentinel lymph node was observed in 285 out of 348 hemipelvises, with a detection rate of a side-specific sentinel lymph node of 81.89%. In total, 47 hemipelvises had metastasis of the lymph node, and 33 involved the sentinel lymph node, with a sensitivity of 70.21% and a false-negative rate of 29.79%. There were 238 hemipelvises with no metastasis of the lymph node, as well as negative sentinel lymph nodes, with a specificity of 100% and a negative predictive value of 94.44%. The univariate analysis demonstrated that risk factors included tumor size (OR .598, 95% CI: .369-.970) and deep stromal invasion (OR .381, 95% CI: .187-.779). The deep stromal invasion was the only variable for the false-negative detection of a sentinel lymph node. CONCLUSION Sentinel lymph node mapping with carbon nanoparticles might be applied to predict the metastasis of pelvic lymph nodes in cervical cancer. However, tumor size and deep stromal invasion might negative influence the detection rate of SLN.

Abstract
PURPOSE OF REVIEW This article discusses recent developments towards less radical surgical treatment for early-stage cervical cancer. RECENT FINDINGS Surgery is the standard treatment for early-stage cervical cancer. In the last decades, new treatment strategies have been developed aiming to reduce morbidity, without hampering oncological safety. We provide an update of the latest knowledge on safety and morbidity following less radical surgical procedures in early-stage cervical cancer. In cervical cancer with a tumour size of 2 cm or less, radical surgery (simple hysterectomy or fertility-sparing conisation) may be a well tolerated option. For patients with larger lesions (>2 cm) and wishing to preserve fertility, administration of neoadjuvant chemotherapy followed by less extensive surgery appears to be a feasible and well tolerated alternative to abdominal trachelectomy. With regard to lymph node assessment, increasing evidence shows the feasibility of the sentinel lymph node procedure instead of full pelvic lymphadenectomy. Prospective trials reporting on oncological safety are awaited.It is important to exercise caution when new surgical strategies are introduced. Despite promising retrospective data, prospective randomized studies may present unexpected results, for instance, minimally invasive radical hysterectomy showed inferior results compared to laparotomy. SUMMARY There is a shift towards less radical treatment for early-stage cervical cancer. This review explores whether and when less is really more.

Abstract
Gynecologic cancers are one of the main health concerns of women throughout the world, and the early diagnosis and effective therapy of gynecologic cancers will be particularly important for the survival of female patients. As a current hotspot, carbon nanomaterials have attracted tremendous interest in tumor theranostics, and their application in gynecologic cancers has also been developed rapidly with great achievements in recent years. This Overview Article summarizes the latest progress in the application of diverse carbon nanomaterials (e.g., graphenes, carbon nanotubes, mesoporous carbon, carbon dots, etc.) and their derivatives in the sensing, imaging, drug delivery, and therapy of different gynecologic cancers. Important research contributions are highlighted in terms of the relationships among the fabrication strategies, architectural features, and action mechanisms for the diagnosis and therapy of gynecologic cancers. The current challenges and future strategies are discussed from the viewpoint of the real clinical application of carbon-based nanomedicines in gynecologic cancers. It is anticipated that this review will attract more attention toward the development and application of carbon nanomaterials for the theranostics of gynecologic cancers.

Abstract
The sentinel lymph nodes (SLNs) is a group of lymph nodes initially involved in the metastatic spread of cancer cells. SLN mapping refers to intraoperative localization and biopsy of SLNs with specific tracers to assess lymph node metastases. It is widely used in a variety of tumor surgeries for its high sensitivity and high negative predictive value. In the evaluation of the status of lymph node metastases in gynecological malignancies, it has received increasingly more attention due to its minor invasiveness, few complications, and high diagnosis rate. The National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN) guidelines provide an excellent introduction to the indications and methods of SLN techniques in vulvar, cervical, and endometrial cancers, but they provide little explanation about some specific issues. In this review, we summarize different dyes and injection methods and discuss the indications of application and the clinical trials of SLN mapping in gynecological malignant tumors, aiming to provide a reference for the rational application of sentinel techniques in gynecology malignant tumors before relevant guidelines are updated.

Abstract
Sentinel node navigation surgery (SNNS) is used in clinical practice for the treatment of cervical cancer. This study aimed to elucidate the appropriate sentinel lymph node (SLN) mapping method and assess the safety and benefits of SNNS. We searched the PubMed, Ichushi, and Cochrane Library databases for randomized controlled trials (RCT) and studies on SLN in cervical cancer from January 2012 to December 2020. Two authors independently assessed study quality and extracted data. We quantitatively analyzed the detection rate, sensitivity/specificity, and complications and reviewed information, including the survival data of SLN biopsy (SLNB) without pelvic lymphadenectomy (PLND). The detection rate of SLN mapping in the unilateral pelvis was median 95.7% and 100% and in the bilateral pelvis was median 80.4% and 90% for technetium-99 m (Tc) with/without blue dye (Tc w/wo BD) and indocyanine green (ICG) alone, respectively. The sensitivity and specificity of each tracer were high; the area under the curve of each tracer was 0.988 (Tc w/wo BD), 0.931 (BD w/wo Tc), 0.966 (ICG), and 0.977 (carbon nanoparticle). Morbidities including lymphedema, neurological symptoms and blood loss were associated with PLND. One RCT and five studies all showed SNNS without systematic PLND does not impair recurrence or survival in early-stage cervical cancer with a tumor size ≤ 2-4 cm. Both Tc w/wo BD and ICG are appropriate SLN tracers. SNNS can reduce the morbidities associated with PLND without affecting disease progression in early-stage cervical cancer.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Carbon nanoparticle suspension (CNS) was applied to locate the lymphatic leakage in chylous ascites (CA). However, the flow speed and distance of the CNS were particularly decreased in the following two cases (patient 5 and 6). This study aimed to investigate and improve the flow speed and distance of the CNS via a rat model. METHODS Seven patients with CA were accepted for surgery in the past two years. Clinical data were recorded. Rats were divided into two groups to confirm the hypothesis regarding whether accepting milk or orally administered food before surgery was the key factor in CA surgery with CNS. The animals were divided into 2 groups: experimental group of 5 rats receiving fat emulsion injection (2 g/kg) 30 min before the operation and control group of 5 rats receiving saline. We analyzed flow speed and distance of the CNS in two groups of rats. The hypothesis established was that CNS movements pattern differ depending on the degree of capillary lymph duct filling. Finally, the late case reconfirmed the hypothesis again. RESULTS In animal experiments, the CNS in the preoperative high-fat feeding group moved faster and over a longer distance than that in the control group (0.51 ± 0.09 cm vs. 0.19 ± 0.10 cm, respectively; p < 0.05). Based on this, the CNS was applied to the seventh patient, who had been given a diet with a slightly higher fat content 3 days before the operation, and marked improvement with a complete cure was recorded. CONCLUSIONS The capillary lymph duct was beginning to swell after dietary intake. The dilation of the lymph vessel could make it easier for the CNS to move and reach the leakage.

Abstract
IMPORTANCE Carbon nanoparticle suspension injection (CNSI) can be used to visualize lymph node (LN) drainage in gastric cancer. The tracing and diagnostic value of carbon nanoparticle suspension lymphography-guided distal gastrectomy for gastric cancer has not been thoroughly reported. OBJECTIVE To compare the number of lymph nodes identified in patients with gastric cancer receiving a CNSI vs no injection. DESIGN, SETTING, AND PARTICIPANTS This is a retrospective cohort study including patients with clinical T1 to T4 disease who underwent laparoscopic or robotic distal gastrectomy. Data from a cohort of 1225 patients at the Fourth Hospital of Hebei Medical University (Shijiazhuang, China) from November 2019 to February 2021 were analyzed. Patients were divided into the CNSI group and conventional group after 1:1 propensity matching analysis. The mean number of LNs detected was compared between groups, and the diagnostic role of CNSI was analyzed in the CNSI group. Statistical analysis was performed from May to July 2021. EXPOSURE CNSI was peritumorally injected under an endoscope 1 day before surgery in the CNSI group, and the conventional group did not receive any treatment before surgery. MAIN OUTCOMES AND MEASURES The main outcome was the number of LNs detected. Gastrectomy with systematic D1+ (ie, stations 1, 3, 4sb, 4d, 5, 6, and 7) or D2 (ie, all D1 stations, plus 8a, 9, 11p, and 12a) lymphadenectomy was performed. Black-stained LNs and nonblack-stained LNs were examined separately in the CNSI group. RESULTS A total of 312 consecutive patients (mean [SD] age, 56.7 [10.4] years; 216 [69.2%] men) who underwent distal gastrectomy were enrolled, including 78 patients in the CNSI group, and another 78 patients determined from 1:1 propensity score matching, making an overall cohort size of 156 patients. The mean (SD) number of LNs detected in the CNSI group was 59.6 (21.4), which was significantly higher than that in the conventional group (30.0 [11.3] LNs; P < .001). In the CNSI group, the mean (SD) number of LNs detected at black-stained LN stations was significantly higher than that at nonstained LN stations (9.2 [6.1] LNs per station vs 3.5 [3.2] LNs per station; P < .001). For black-stained LN stations, the sensitivity was 97.8% (95% CI, 91.6%-99.6%), specificity was 38.1% (95% CI, 34.2%-42.3%), positive predictive value was 20.1% (95% CI, 16.6%-24.2%), and negative predictive value was 99.1% (95% CI, 96.4%-99.8%); for the black-stained LNs, sensitivity was 97.6% (95% CI, 95.3%-98.8%), specificity was 35.4% (95% CI, 33.9%-36.8%), positive predictive value was 11.6% (95% CI, 10.5%-12.8%), and negative predictive value was 99.4% (95% CI, 98.8%-99.7%). CONCLUSIONS AND RELEVANCE These findings suggest that CNSI was associated with facilitating the dissection of all positive LNs, which could improve surgical quality. Carbon nanoparticle suspension-guided lymphography may be an alternative to conventional systematic lymphadenectomy for distal gastrectomy.

Abstract
Lymphatic metastasis plays an important role in malignant tumor invasion. Efficient identification of sentinel lymph node (SLN) is extremely significant for designing therapeutic strategies and assessing prognosis. In this work, we developed a natural cuttlefish melanin nanoprobe for the preoperative and intraoperative evaluation of lymphatic metastasis. The cuttlefish melanin nanoparticle could improve the water-solubility and biocompatibility of the near-infrared-II (NIR-II) dye, and extend the retention time of small molecule dye. The NIR-II imaging results verified that the nanoparticles have a high accumulation, high sensitivity, and high signal-to-noise ratio in the lymphatic system. Moreover, the nanoparticles have obvious naked-eye identification potential due to their natural brownish-black color. Additionally, the nanoparticles can combine with Gd ions to achieve preoperative lymphatic magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). The results of this study provide a unique approach to effectively identify and accurately remove lymph nodes before operation and during surgery, exhibiting tremendous potential in clinical translation.

Abstract
Background Distant metastasis to vital organs is the major contributor to breast cancer mortality, and regional lymph node metastasis is an important facilitator of distant metastasis and recurrence in this cancer. The early diagnosis and precise treatment of lymph node metastasis are crucial for staging and prognosis in breast cancer. Herein, we report a visualized precision medicine nanoplatform of metastatic lymph nodes for ultrasonic/photoacoustic (US/PA) dual modal imaging-guided in situ targeted hyperthermia-combined chemotherapy. Results Carbon nanoparticles (CNs), approved by the China Food and Drug Administration, were loaded with docetaxel and rationally combined with anti-hypoxia-inducible factor 1α antibody-modified poly (lactic-co-glycolic acid) (PLGA) nanoparticles to achieve the combination of passive targeting at the lymph nodes and intracellular targeting at HIF 1α factor. The accumulation and retention of nanoparticles in metastatic lymph nodes via lymphatic delivery were enhanced. Docetaxel could be effectively offloaded by CNs that have active carbon nanoparticles, and the PLGA membrane prevented drug leakage. The nanoparticles exhibited excellent photothermal performance with a photothermal conversion efficiency of 28.9%, killing tumor cells in metastatic lymph nodes through hyperthermia. In vitro and in vivo systematic evaluations revealed that hyperpyrexia triggered the rupture of nanoparticles caused by the phase transition of perfluorohexane, resulting in docetaxel release for achieving in situ hyperthermia-combined chemotherapy. Conclusions The laser-triggered highly efficient in situ chemotherapy nanosystem achieves targeted synergistic chemo-hyperthermia treatment of metastatic lymph nodes, and lymphatic delivery represents a strategy to avoid additional injury caused by drugs entering the blood circulation.
