Abstract
OBJECTIVE Type 1 diabetes (T1D) disease management and associated glycemic fluctuations can disrupt experiences of hunger and satiety, which may increase risk for disordered eating behaviors. Glycemic variability may be a useful trigger for just-in-time interventions for disordered eating behaviors. In this exploratory study, we hypothesized that two metrics of glycemic variability would be associated with greater hunger and predict eating behaviors for weight loss or maintenance in adolescents and young adults with T1D. METHODS Individuals with T1D were recruited from a university diabetes clinic (N = 34; 50% female, Mage = 19.53 years, MHbA1c = 7.98%; 29% Hispanic/Latinx; 79% White). Participants wore a blinded continuous glucose monitor for 5 days, and completed ecological momentary assessments (four prompts per day) that included measures of hunger and eating behaviors for weight loss or maintenance purposes. Generalized and linear mixed models were used to test hypotheses. RESULTS Approximately 30% of participants were at risk for an eating disorder based on Diabetes Eating Problem Survey-Revised scores. Greater glycemic variability did not predict hunger, but was associated with increased odds of endorsing any eating behavior for weight loss or maintenance purposes within-person (ps<.05). Greater hunger was associated with increased odds of endorsing disordered eating behavior within-person (p<.05). CONCLUSIONS This exploratory study provides some preliminary evidence that times of greater hunger and glycemic variability may be when individuals with T1D may be at higher risk of engaging in behaviors to lose or maintain weight.

Abstract
Eating disorders (EDs) are complex medical conditions that pose a considerable health burden for individuals with type 1 diabetes mellitus (T1DM). EDs in individuals with T1DM are linked to poor metabolic control, which heightens the risk of diabetes complications. Consequently, regular screening for EDs is essential. This study investigates the prevalence of EDs in adolescents with T1DM, investigating the associations with diabetes duration, pubertal stage, glycemic control, and diabetes-related complications. In this cross-sectional study, 350 adolescents (155 males, 195 females) with T1DM, aged 12-18, were recruited from Mansoura University Children's Hospital. Participants completed the Diabetes Eating Problem Survey-Revised (DEPS-R) questionnaire, with scores ≥ 20 prompting clinical interviews to confirm EDs. Clinical data, including HbA1c, BMI, and body composition, were analyzed. Socioeconomic status (SES) and family factors were assessed. The prevalence of EDs was 22.6%, including other specified feeding or eating disorders (OSFED) (68.4%), binge eating (11.4%), bulimia nervosa (7.6%), avoidant restrictive (7.6%), and anorexia nervosa (5.1%). Binary logistic regression analysis showed that the significant predictors of ED in the study cohort were diabetes duration (OR = 1.75 (1.66-1.84), p < 0.001), and HbA1c (OR = 5.94 (2.4-14.6), p < 0.001). Conclusions: Adolescents with EDs had higher (SES), more family conflicts, longer diabetes duration, and were more prone to diabetic nephropathy and poor glycemic control. Screening for EDs is recommended from pre-adolescence through early adulthood. What Is Known: • Adolescents with T1DM are more vulnerable to develop EDs compared to their peers without T1DM What Is New: • The DEPS-R and DSM-V were useful clinical tools for screening and for diagnosis of EDs respectively among adolescents with T1DM • We advise to screen for EDs in adolescents with T1DM who aged around 13.6 years, at Tanner stage 3, with duration of T1DM >5 years, and/or with HbA1c >7.5.

Abstract
BACKGROUND The number of older adults with type 1 diabetes (T1D) is increasing. Use of automated insulin delivery (AID) may influence nutrition and eating behaviors. We explored how three eating styles (restrained, external, emotional) differ between older adults with T1D who use and do not use AID. METHODS We administered a one-time electronic survey from September to November 2023 to adults ≥65 years with T1D receiving care through a university-affiliated hospital system. Clinical and demographic information was collected from medical records. Eating styles were characterized with the Dutch Eating Behavior Questionnaire. RESULTS Our sample (n = 77, 95% non-Hispanic white) had mean (SD) age: 71.8 (4.1) years, diabetes duration: 33 (18) years, hemoglobin A1c (HbA1c): 6.83 (1.12%), and body mass index (BMI): 27.3 (4.7) kg/m2. Respondents reported variable eating styles, with the highest median scores for external and restrained eating and lower scores for emotional eating. Older adults using AID systems had higher median scores for emotional and external eating, and more varied restrained eating scores compared to those not using AID systems. Weak correlations were found between eating styles and HbA1c (restrained: r = -0.14; external: r = 0.08; emotional: r = 0.15), as well as between restrained (r = 0.09) and external (r = 0.04) eating with BMI, with a small correlation between emotional eating and BMI (r = 0.27). CONCLUSIONS Eating styles may vary between older adult AID users and non-users. To our knowledge, this is the first study to characterize eating styles in this population, though generalizability is limited by a non-diverse and small sample with high technology use overall (eg, continuous glucose monitoring, insulin pumps).

Abstract
As diabetes technologies continue to advance, their use is expanding beyond type 1 diabetes to include populations with type 2 diabetes, older adults, pregnant individuals, those with psychiatric conditions, and hospitalized patients. This review examines the psychosocial outcomes of these technologies across these diverse groups, with a focus on treatment satisfaction, quality of life, and self-management behaviors. Despite demonstrated benefits in glycemic outcomes, the adoption and sustained use of these technologies face unique challenges in each population. By highlighting existing research and identifying gaps, this review seeks to emphasize the need for targeted studies and tailored support strategies to understand and optimize psychosocial outcomes and well-being.

Abstract
AIMS To determine the prevalence of disordered eating behaviors (DEB) in a population of Australian adolescents with T1D and to investigate clinical parameters, insulin pump therapy (IPT) and continuous glucose monitor (CGM) data trends, and psychological attributes associated with DEB. METHODS 50 participants (27 female, 23 male, average age 15.2 years, average duration of diabetes 6.2 years) were recruited. Diabetes Eating Problem Survey-Revised (DEPS-R) and Strengths and Difficulties Questionnaires were completed. Prevalence of disordered eating was reported, and associations with clinical parameters, insulin pump therapy (IPT) and continuous glucose monitor (CGM) metrics were assessed. RESULTS Twenty-four participants (48 %) had an elevated DEPS-R score. Participants with elevated DEPS-R were more likely to be female (75 % vs 31.6 %, p = 0.004), have a higher HbA1c (8.2 %/67 mmol/mol vs. 6.9 %/51 mmol/mol, p < 0.002) and BMI Z-score (+1.28 SD vs +0.76 SD, p = 0.040). They had lower time in range, 3.9-10 mmol/L (50.3 % vs. 63.8 %, p = 0.01) and higher mean glucose (10.0 mmol/L vs. 8.3 mmol/L, p = 0.005). Of the 60 % using IPT, participants with elevated DEPS-R had increased meal bolus overrides (7.9 % vs 3.8 %, p = 0.047). Reported difficulties on SDQ were higher in the elevated DEPS-R group (18.3 vs 10.5, p < 0.002). CONCLUSIONS DEB are common in Australian adolescents with T1D and associated with increased dysglycemia. Diabetes technology cannot be solely relied upon for detection of DEB and there remains a need for routine screening.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Many type 1 diabetes patients using continuous subcutaneous insulin infusion (CSII) suffer from the phenomenon of unexplained hypoglycemia or "site loss." Site loss is hypothesized to be caused by toxic excipients, for example, phenolic compounds within insulin formulations that are used as preservatives and stabilizers. Here, we develop a bioinspired polyelectrolyte-modified carbon electrode for effective electrooxidative removal of phenol from insulin and eventual incorporations into an infusion set of a CSII device. METHODS We modified a carbon screen printed electrode (SPE) with poly-L-lysine (PLL) to avoid passivation due to polyphenol deposition while still removing phenolic compounds from insulin injections. We characterized these electrodes using scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) and compared their data with data from bare SPEs. Furthermore, we performed electrochemical measurements to determine the extent of passivation, and high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) measurements to confirm both the removal of phenol and the integrity of insulin after phenol removal. RESULTS Voltammetry measurements show that electrode passivation due to polyphenol deposition is reduced by a factor of 2X. HPLC measurements confirm a 10x greater removal of phenol by our modified electrodes relative to bare electrodes. CONCLUSION Using bioinspired polyelectrolytes to modify a carbon electrode surface aids in the electrooxidation of phenolic compounds from insulin and is a step toward integration within an infusion set for mitigating site loss.

Abstract
Background and Aims: Disordered eating behaviors (DEB) are more common among individuals with type 1 diabetes (T1D) compared to those without, and for insulin pump users may be associated with higher hemoglobin A1c (HbA1c). We investigated DEB risk factors among insulin pump-treated individuals with T1D and clinical characteristics of hybrid closed-loop (HCL) systems' users by DEB level. Methods: An observational, cross-sectional study of 167 insulin pump-treated individuals with T1D, 13-21 years of age. Data were obtained from patients' medical charts with additional self-reported questionnaires, including assessment of DEB. Results: DEB were found in 71 (42.5%) individuals, and positively associated with female sex (β = 2.98 [standard error (SE) = 1.31], P = 0.025), body mass index (BMI)-Z-score (β = 2.12 [SE = 0.64], P = 0.001), HbA1c (β = 1.40 [SE = 0.45], P = 0.02), and higher rate of pump discontinuation (β = 4.48 [SE = 1.99], P = 0.026). The use of HCL systems compared to insulin pumps was associated with higher BMI-Z-score (odds ratio [OR]: 3.46 [95% confidence interval, CI: 1.52-7.87], P = 0.003) and tendency to lower HbA1c level (OR: 0.44 [95% CI: 0.18-1.09], P = 0.078) among individuals without DEB, and with lower HbA1c level (OR: 0.29 [95% CI: 0.10-0.83], P = 0.022) and higher socioeconomic status (OR: 1.73 [95% CI: 1.09-2.74], P = 0.020) among individuals with DEB. Conclusions: DEB are common among individuals with T1D treated with insulin pumps and are associated with higher HbA1c levels. Among T1D individuals with DEB, HCL system use is associated with lower HbA1c compared to insulin pump treatment. Our findings highlight the importance of regular screening for DEB and its risk factors to improve pump treatment and diabetes management. Moreover, individuals with DEB using HCL systems may benefit from reduced HbA1c levels.

Abstract
PURPOSE OF REVIEW Maintaining positive health behaviours promotes better health outcomes for people with type 1 diabetes (T1D). However, implementing these behaviours may also lead to additional management burdens and challenges. Diabetes technologies, including continuous glucose monitoring systems, automated insulin delivery systems, and digital platforms, are being rapidly developed and widely used to reduce these burdens. Our aim was to review recent evidence to explore the influence of these technologies on health behaviours and well-being among adults with T1D and discuss future directions. RECENT FINDINGS Current evidence, albeit limited, suggests that technologies applied in diabetes self-management education and support (DSME/S), nutrition, physical activity (PA), and psychosocial care areas improved glucose outcomes. They may also increase flexibility in insulin adjustment and eating behaviours, reduce carb counting burden, increase confidence in PA, and reduce mental burden. Technologies have the potential to promote health behaviours changes and well-being for people with T1D. More confirmative studies on their effectiveness and safety are needed to ensure optimal integration in standard care practices.

Abstract
Introduction: Automated insulin delivery (AID) systems reduce burden and improve glycemic management for people with type 1 diabetes (PwT1D) by automatically adjusting insulin as a response to measured glucose levels. There is a lack of evidence on AID and nutrition variables such as dietary intake, eating behaviors, and disordered eating. Objectives: This scoping review aims to provide a summary of the literature regarding AID and nutrition variables and to identify gaps that require further investigation. Methods: Two researchers conducted a blinded search of Medline (OVID) and PubMed for studies, including AID use (compared to non-AID use) and nutrition variables. Studies from January 2000 to July 2023 were included, as were PwT1D of all ages. Results: A total of 3132 articles were screened for appropriateness. After exclusions, 7 studies were included (2017-2023): 4 qualitative, 1 crossover, 1 randomized controlled, and 1 observational. Studies included adolescents (n = 1), adults (n = 3) or both (n = 2), and all ages (n = 1). In quantitative studies, AID was associated with lower eating distress (-0.43 ± 0.12, P = 0.004) and higher quality of life (3.1, 95% confidence interval [CI]: 0.8-5.4, P = 0.01), but not grams of carbohydrates at meals (1.0; 95% CI: -0.7 to 3.0; P = 0.24) and snacks (0.004; 95% CI: -0.8 to 0.8; P = 0.99) compared to non-AID use. In qualitative studies, AID increased the frequency and portions of food intake and led to less dietary control from parents. AID users reported eating foods higher in energy density. PwT1D were less worried about achieving accurate carbohydrate counting (CC) when using AID. Conclusions: AID use appears to influence eating behaviors, dietary patterns, and CC, although evidence was limited. AID may reduce food management burden due to the perception that AID can correct for CC inaccuracy. Significance: Further research needs to determine if AID allows for simplification of CC and improves eating behaviors while maintaining glycemic stability.

The American Diabetes Association (ADA) "Standards of Care in Diabetes" includes the ADA's current clinical practice recommendations and is intended to provide the components of diabetes care, general treatment goals and guidelines, and tools to evaluate quality of care. Members of the ADA Professional Practice Committee, an interprofessional expert committee, are responsible for updating the Standards of Care annually, or more frequently as warranted. Abstract
Objective Anorexia nervosa (AN) and atypical anorexia nervosa (AAN) are severe and complex eating disorders that can be prevalent among individuals with type 1 diabetes mellitus (T1DM). Insulin purging, characterized by the intentional underuse / omission of insulin to control weight, is under-recognized in medicine and is a purging strategy of patients with AN or AAN and comorbid T1DM. Often, this can lead to renal failure, necessitating a (pancreas-) kidney transplantation. This article presents a comprehensive overview of the interplay between AN/AAN and T1DM and summarizes the evidence in literature. Methods A narrative review is presented on basis of a detailed case study of a 32-year-old female with end-stage renal failure seeking (pancreas-) kidney transplantation displaying etiology, diagnosis, comorbidities, complications, and treatment of AN and AAN with emphasis on those patients with T1DM. Results Insulin purging in patients with AN/AAN and coexisting T1DM can exacerbate T1DM complications, including accelerating the onset of end-stage renal failure. A multidisciplinary approach including nutrition treatment and psychotherapeutic techniques was considered necessary for treatment, focusing on psychosomatic in-patient care before and after organ transplantation. Conclusion Insulin purging in patients with AAN and T1DM poses severe health risks, including accelerated renal complications. For those considering transplantation, insulin purging has explicitly to be diagnosed and a holistic treatment addressing both the renal condition and psychosomatic symptoms/disorders is crucial for successful post-transplant outcomes.

Abstract
AbstractMobile health (mHealth) systems are sipping into more and more healthcare functions with self-management being the foremost modus operandi. However, there has been challenges. This study explores challenges with mHealth self-management of diabetes and hypertension, two of the most comorbid chronic diseases. Existing literature present the challenges in fragments, certain subsets of the challenges at a time. Nevertheless, feedback from patient/users in extant literature depict very variegated concerns that are also interdependent. This work pursues provision of an encyclopedic, but not redundant, view of the challenges with mHealth systems for self-management of diabetes and hypertension.Furthermore, the work identifies machine learning (ML) and self-management approaches as potential drivers of potency of diabetes and hypertension mobile health systems. The nexus between ML and diabetes and hypertension mHealth systems was found to be under-explored. For ML contributions to management of diabetes, we found that machine learning has been applied most to diabetes prediction followed by diagnosis, with therapy in distant third. For diabetes therapy research, only physical and dietary therapy were emphasized in reviewed literature. The four most considered performance metrics were accuracy, ROC-AUC, sensitivity, and specificity. Random forest was the best performing algorithm across all metrics, for all purposes covered in the literature. For hypertension, in descending order, hypertension prediction, prediction of risk factors, and prediction of prehypertension were most considered areas of hypertension management witnessing application of machine learning. SVM averaged best ML algorithm in accuracy and sensitivity, while random forest averaged best performing in specificity and ROC-AUC.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Eating disorder diagnoses and disordered eating behaviours are more prevalent in people living with Type 1 Diabetes Mellitus, in particular in adolescents. The role of the dietitian in this setting is not clearly outlined in the literature. AIM This scoping review aims to outline the available information for the role of the dietitian in identifying and managing eating disorders in adolescents and adults with co-occurring Type 1 Diabetes Mellitus (T1DM) in a clinical setting. METHODS The Johanna Briggs Institute was utilised to guide this scoping review and to develop a search strategy for relevant databases. Relevant organisations and societies websites and professional magazines were reviewed as part of the grey literature search. RESULTS 38 peer reviewed journal articles, 5 professional articles, 5 book chapters and 11 clinical guidelines were included in this scoping review. Roles for the dietitian in identification, prevention and screening for eating disorders in Type 1 Diabetes Mellitus were identified and outlined in a visual workflow. The role of the dietitian in the management of eating disorder in both the outpatient/community and inpatient setting and as core member of the multidisciplinary team was detailed in the literature. CONCLUSION This scoping review mapped the available information in the current literature on the role of the dietitian in the identification and management of eating disorders and disordered eating in adolescents and adults with a dual diagnosis of T1DM. The reviewed literature suggests there is a strong reliance on expert opinion and practice to inform the role of the dietitian. Further research is required in order to ensure more robust evidence-based practice in this area.

Abstract
AIMS To assess the prevalence and disease-related risk factors for disordered eating behaviours among adolescents with type 1 diabetes and also to search for risk factors at disease diagnosis that can predict the development of disordered eating behaviours. METHODS A retrospective observational study of 291 adolescents aged 15-19 years with type 1 diabetes who completed the Diabetes Eating Problem Survey-Revised (DEPS-R) as is routine in our diabetes clinic. The prevalence of disordered eating behaviours and risk factors for their development was assessed. RESULTS In 84 (28.9%) adolescents, disordered eating behaviours were found. Disordered eating behaviours were positively associated with female sex (β = 3.01 [SE = 0.97], p = 0.002), higher BMI-Z score (β = 2.08 [SE = 0.49], p < 0.001), higher HbA1c (β = 0.19 [SE = 0.03], p < 0.001) and treatment with multiple daily injections of insulin (β = 2.19 [SE = 1.02], p = 0.032). At type 1 diabetes diagnosis, higher BMI-Z score (β = 1.54 [SE = 0.63], p = 0.016) for those diagnosed before age 13 years and increased weight gain at 3 months post-diagnosis (β = 0.88 [SE = 0.25], p = 0.001) in females diagnosed at age 13 years or older were found to be risk factors for disordered eating behaviours. CONCLUSIONS Disordered eating behaviours are common among adolescents with type 1 diabetes and are associated with various parameters, including BMI at diagnosis and the rate of weight gain at 3 months post-diagnosis in females. Our findings highlight the need for early preventive efforts for disordered eating behaviours and interventions to avoid late diabetes complications.

Abstract
AIM To evaluate predisposition to eating disorders (ED) or body dissatisfaction in adults with type 1 diabetes mellitus (T1DM); to further investigate any differences in ED predisposition between subjects with T1DM on multiple daily injections (MDI) or insulin pumps (CSII) and in respect to control healthy subjects. METHODS We conducted a monocentric, cross-sectional, observational study. We enrolled subjects with T1DM, aged ≥ 18 years, and healthy subjects (HS) as control group. All participants completed two questionnaires to detect possible predisposition to ED: 34-items Body Shape Questionnaire (BSQ) and Eating Disorder Inventory-3 (EDI-3). HS only filled BSQ. For subjects with T1DM data about glycated hemoglobin and duration of disease were also collected. RESULTS 162 subjects with T1DM (age 41 ± 12 years, 77 [47%] males) and 50 HS (age 38 ± 13 years, 18 (36%) males) were enrolled. 87 subjects with T1DM (54%) were on MDI and 75 (46%) were on CSII. No significant difference in the distribution of BSQ scores between subjects with T1DM and HS was observed (p = 0.551), although 16% of subjects with T1DM scored BSQ class 1 points while 8% of HS scored a BSQ class 1 points. No significant difference in BSQ scores was observed between subjects with T1DM on MDI or CSII. Between these two groups, no differences in EDI-3 scores were observed except for perfectionism score: subjects on MDI present more frequently a predisposition for perfectionism (p < 0.05) and, at a trend level, for bulimia. CONCLUSION A non -significant higher percentage of BSQ class 1 was detected in subjects T1DM compared to healthy controls. Among subjects with T1DM, no differences between MDI and CSII were observed in ED predisposition. A more perfectionist personality has been detected among subjects on MDI.

Abstract
AIM The aim of this study was to determine the prevalence of likely eating disorders and insulin misuse in a prospective cohort of adults with type 1 diabetes mellitus (T1DM) treated with insulin pump therapy. METHODS This prospective study was held at the participants' home. The participants completed the SCOFF questionnaire as well as a question related to insulin misuse. Information about lifestyle, medical history, insulin pump and Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) data were collected. RESULTS The analysis covered 198 participants with a median age of 51 [95% CI 38; 62] years. The prevalence of likely eating disorders was 21.7% (95% CI 16.3; 28.2) in the study population and 20.6% (95% CI 14.3; 28.6) and 24.2% (95% CI 14.6; 37.0) in males and females respectively. The prevalence of insulin misuse was 39.0% (95% CI 30.8; 47.7). There was no significant difference in prevalence between males and females for likely eating disorders and insulin misuse. The analysis of CGM data revealed no factors related to glycaemic control associated with likely eating disorders. CONCLUSION The results of this study indicate that the prevalence of likely eating disorders is high even in a middle-aged population with a T1DM and satisfactory glucose control.

The American Diabetes Association (ADA) "Standards of Care in Diabetes" includes the ADA's current clinical practice recommendations and is intended to provide the components of diabetes care, general treatment goals and guidelines, and tools to evaluate quality of care. Members of the ADA Professional Practice Committee, a multidisciplinary expert committee, are responsible for updating the Standards of Care annually, or more frequently as warranted. Abstract
In continuous subcutaneous insulin infusion and multiple daily injections, insulin boluses are usually calculated based on patient-specific parameters, such as carbohydrates-to-insulin ratio (CR), insulin sensitivity-based correction factor (CF), and the estimation of the carbohydrates (CHO) to be ingested. This study aimed to calculate insulin boluses without CR, CF, and CHO content, thereby eliminating the errors caused by misestimating CHO and alleviating the management burden on the patient. A Q-learning-based reinforcement learning algorithm (RL) was developed to optimise bolus insulin doses for in-silico type 1 diabetic patients. A realistic virtual cohort of 68 patients with type 1 diabetes that was previously developed by our research group, was considered for the in-silico trials. The results were compared to those of the standard bolus calculator (SBC) with and without CHO misestimation using open-loop basal insulin therapy. The percentage of the overall duration spent in the target range of 70-180 mg/dL was 73.4% and 72.37%, <70 mg/dL was 1.96 and 0.70%, and >180 mg/dL was 23.40 and 24.63%, respectively, for RL and SBC without CHO misestimation. The results revealed that RL outperformed SBC in the presence of CHO misestimation, and despite not knowing the CHO content of meals, the performance of RL was similar to that of SBC in perfect conditions. This algorithm can be incorporated into artificial pancreas and automatic insulin delivery systems in the future.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Disordered eating behaviour (DEB) represents a significant morbidity among people with type-1 diabetes (T1D). Continuous-subcutaneous insulin infusion (CSII) improves glycemic control and psychological wellbeing in those with T1D. However, its relation to DEB remains obscure. OBJECTIVES To compare DEB among adolescents with T1D on CSII versus basal-bolus regimen and correlate it with body image, HbA1C and depression. METHODS Sixty adolescents with T1D (30 on CSII and 30 on basal-bolus regimen), aged 12-17 years were studied focusing on diabetes-duration, insulin therapy, exercise, socioeconomic standard, hypoglycemic attacks/week and family history of psychiatric illness. Anthropometric measures, HbA1C, binge eating scale (BES), body image tool, patient health questionnaire-9 (PHQ9) and the Mini-KID depression scale were assessed. RESULTS Among the studied adolescents with T1D, six had DEB (10%), 14 had poor body-image perception (23.3%), 42 had moderate body-image perception (70%) and 22 had depression (36.7%). Adolescents with T1D on CSII had significantly lower BES (p = 0.022), Mini-KID depression (p = 0.001) and PHQ9 (p = 0.02) than those on basal-bolus regimen. BES was positively correlated to depression (p < 0.001), HbA1C (p = 0.013) and diabetes-duration (p = 0.009) and negatively correlated to body-image (p = 0.003). CONCLUSION DEB is a prevalent comorbidity among adolescents with T1D, with higher frequency in those on basal-bolus regimen than CSII.
