Abstract
Urinary bladder carcinoma accounts for 3% of overall cancer deaths worldwide. Low-grade urothelial carcinomas are the commonest of the bladder tumours followed by high-grade urothelial tumours. Non-urothelial tumours account for less than 5% of bladder tumours and frequently present a diagnostic and therapeutic challenge. The common non-urothelial neoplasms seen in other reports are squamous cell carcinoma, adenocarcinoma, and neuroendocrine tumours. The present study enumerates the types of urinary bladder tumours seen in our centre in a span of 7 years with their clinical, histology, and immunohistochemistry findings, emphasising the findings of seven types of non-urothelial tumours few of which were very unusual. These include inflammatory myofibroblastic tumour, mature teratoma, angiomyofibroblastoma, metastatic carcinoma from prostate, primitive neuroectodermal tumour, and squamous cell carcinoma. Angiomyofibroblastoma in our series is the first reported case seen in urinary bladder. It is important to identify these uncommon tumours as few of them may behave more aggressively than urothelial neoplasms, have poorer prognosis, and are often diagnosed in late stage.

Abstract
Renal inflammatory myofibroblastic tumor (IMT) is an exceptionally uncommon occurrence. This report presented the first documented case of renal IMT coexisting with hemophilia A carrier status. A 52-year-old asymptomatic female was incidentally discovered to have a kidney mass during a routine computed tomography (CT) scan spanning a 5-month period. Ultrasonography and contrast-enhanced CT scan raised suspicion of a potential renal malignant tumor. Over 2 decades ago, the patient experienced significant bleeding during childbirth, and she possessed a 5-year history of rheumatoid arthritis. Following a radical surgical procedure, intravenous supplementation of factor VIII was administered during the perioperative period. Subsequent to strenuous defecation, the patient encountered hematuria. Continued coagulation factor supplementation led to alleviation of hematuria symptoms. The underlying causes and pathogenesis responsible for IMT remain unclear. IMT is often associated with rheumatoid arthritis, possibly suggesting a connection to its etiology. Surgical excision stands as the primary approach to treatment, with recurrence being an exceedingly rare event. In instances where hemophilia is a complicating factor, vigilant monitoring of coagulation function and appropriate coagulation factor supplementation is imperative.

Abstract
Inflammatory myofibroblastic tumors (IMTs) of the lung are a rare type of mesenchymal tumors that tend to occur more in the lungs of children. They are extremely rare in adults. IMTs require extensive pulmonary resection because they are commonly locally invasive. The key to preventing recurrence is complete resection, and the prognosis is excellent after surgery. We report a case of a patient with an inflammatory pseudotumor of the lung. The patient is a 27-year-old female who presented with a dry cough. A chest radiograph and computed tomography showed a lesion in the left main bronchus and near-total left lung collapse. As surgery was necessary to establish the diagnosis, left pneumonectomy was performed followed by a histological examination of the surgical specimen which confirmed inflammatory pseudotumor.

Abstract
INTRODUCTION AND IMPORTANCE Inflammatory myofibroblastic tumor (IMT) is an infrequent, generally non-cancerous mesenchymal growth. IMT can affect individuals across various age groups, with a higher prevalence in children and adolescents. While it can emerge in any bodily region, it has a tendency to develop more often in the lungs and mesentery. IMT occurrence in the small bowel is exceptionally uncommon. It's a rare cause of intussusception and has unpredictable recurrence rate. CASE PRESENTATION This report highlights a unique clinical presentation involving a mesenteric IMT, which presented as small intestine intussusception in a 2-year-old child. Additionally, the patient was found to have an asymptomatic mass in the right upper quadrant, later identified as a recurrent IMT 10 months after surgical intervention for intussusception caused by the same tumor. CLINICAL DISCUSSION IMTs originate from mesenchymal tissues and encompass a blend of fibroinflammatory conditions. They exhibit a diverse combination of inflammatory and spindle cells. Diagnosing IMTs prior to surgery is intricate, as they can mimic malignant growths. Histopathology following surgery is usually needed for confirmation. Complete removal with a clear margin is the favored treatment approach. CONCLUSION Intestinal IMT is an infrequent and often overlooked condition, but it should be taken into account when diagnosing small bowel intussusception. The best chance of preventing recurrence in cases of intestinal IMT is through complete surgical removal with a negative margin. Nonetheless, the most effective approach for managing local recurrence and metastasis is still uncertain and necessitates ongoing long-term observation.

Abstract
RATIONALE Pulmonary inflammatory myofibroblastic tumor (IMT) is a rare borderline tumor, which has the potential of malignant including invasion of surrounding tissues, distant metastasis and recurrence. However, the preoperative diagnosis is difficult and it can also be difficult to distinguish from malignancy in small tissue samples. Preoperative accurate diagnosis has important clinical significance for patients to choose treatment measures and improve the quality of rehabilitation. We was examined by computed tomography (CT) plain scan plus enhanced scan, magnetic resonance diffusion-weighted imaging (DWI) and apparent diffusion coefficient (ADC) imaging technology in an adult female, compared with lung cancer and pulmonary cryptococcus infection for diagnosis of pulmonary IMT. PATIENT CONCERNS A 32-year-old female patient was admitted to the hospital "physical examination revealed nodules in the right upper lung for 1 week". DIAGNOSES The patient was diagnosed with Pulmonary inflammatory myofibroblastic tumor. INTERVENTIONS Single-port thoracoscopic lobectomy was performed after multidisciplinary consultation. OUTCOMES DWI and ADC improves the accuracy of preoperative diagnosis and well guides the formulation of treatment measures. The combined CT, DWI, and ADC magnetic resonance imaging technology has more important significance in the diagnosis and differential diagnosis of IMT and lung malignant tumors. LESSONS Although accurate preoperative diagnosis of pulmonary IMT is difficult. Chest CT examination combined with DWI and ADC imaging technology has high clinical significance for the diagnosis of IMT.

Abstract
INTRODUCTION AND IMPORTANCE An inflammatory myofibroblastic tumor (IMT) is an uncommon solid neoplasm of mesenchymal origin. They are usually seen in children and adolescents and commonly affect the lung, but they can nearly arise from every organ. The prevalence of IMT in the small bowel is very rare. The tumors have generally a benign clinical course, with some risk of local recurrence or distant metastasis. PRESENTATION OF CASE This is a 55-year-old male patient who presented with intermittent abdominal pain, vomiting of ingested matter and loss of appetite for 2 weeks duration. On physical examination, he had stable vital signs and the abdominal examination was non-revealing. Abdominal CT scan with contrast showed a long segment jejunojejunal intussusception. He underwent en-bloc resection of the mass and end-to-end anastomosis of the jejunum. CLINICAL DISCUSSION IMTs have a mesenchymal origin and are grouped into a mixture of fibroinflammatory disorders. They show a variable mix of inflammatory cells with spindle cells. The diagnosis of IMT preoperatively is challenging often mimicking malignant lesions. The diagnosis is often confirmed by histopathology after surgery. Complete excision with a negative margin is the preferred treatment. We report a rare case of jejunal IMT presenting with intussusception. CONCLUSION An intestinal IMT is a rare and an underdiagnosed entity, and should be considered in the differential diagnosis of small bowel intussusception. Surgery is still the most favored and effective treatment for intestinal IMT. Complete surgical excision with a negative margin has the least chance of disease recurrence.

Abstract
Inflammatory myofibroblastic tumors (IMTs) are rare benign tumors that can occur anywhere in the body, most commonly in the pediatric and young adult populations. The gold standard treatment is surgical resection, possibly along with chemotherapy and/or radiotherapy. IMTs have a high recurrence rate and may present with secondary symptoms, such as hemoptysis, fever, and stridor. We present a 13-year-old male patient with hemoptysis for one month who was subsequently diagnosed with an obstructing IMT of the trachea. The preoperative assessment showed the patient was not in acute distress and could protect his airway, even when lying flat. The treatment plan was discussed with the otolaryngologist, to keep the patient spontaneously breathing throughout the case. Anesthesia was induced with boluses of midazolam, remifentanil, propofol, and dexmedetomidine. Doses were adjusted as needed. Glycopyrrolate was also given to limit the patient's secretions before initiating the surgical procedure. The FiO2 was kept under 30% as tolerated to reduce the risk of airway fire. During surgical resection, the patient was kept spontaneously breathing, and paralytics were avoided. Due to high tumor vascularity and inability to obtain hemostasis, the patient was kept intubated and on ventilation post-operatively until definitive treatment could be performed. On postoperative day 3, the patient returned to the operating room due to a worsening condition. He was found to have a partial obstruction of the right mainstem bronchus by the tumor. More of the tumor was debulked, and he remained intubated above the level of the debulked mass. The patient was then transferred to a higher acuity institution for advanced care. After the transfer, the patient underwent a carinal resection on cardiopulmonary bypass. This case provides insight into successfully sharing the airway during tracheal tumor resection, emphasizing minimizing the risk of airway fire and constant communication with the surgeon.

Abstract
ABSTRACT We report a case of granulocyte colony-stimulating factor (G-CSF)-producing inflammatory myofibroblastic tumor of the pleura in a 71-year-old man. Contrast-enhanced CT demonstrated multiple pleural masses with pulmonary hilar lymph nodes swelling. 18F-FDG PET/CT demonstrated marked focal FDG uptake in the thoracic masses with diffuse uptake in the bone marrow. Based on the pathological findings and elevated serum G-CSF level, the patient was diagnosed as G-CSF-producing inflammatory myofibroblastic tumor. Because G-CSF-producing tumors demonstrate aggressive clinical course, early and accurate diagnosis is important.

Abstract
Metastases to the kidney are rare and were historically described in autopsy series, and the incidence ranged between 2.36% and 12.6%. However, in the contemporary literature with the improvements in imaging modalities (computed tomography scan and magnetic resonance imaging) and other health care screening services, metastatic tumors to the kidney are being diagnosed more frequently in surgical specimens. The utility of needle core biopsies in the primary evaluation of renal masses has also increased the number of sampled metastases, and as a result, only limited histologic material is available for evaluation in some cases and may potentially lead to diagnostic pitfalls. In the last decade, a few large clinical series have been published. In these series, the majority of metastatic tumors to the kidney are carcinomas, with the lung being the most common primary site. A significant number of the various tumor types with metastasis to the kidney are also associated with widespread metastases to other organs, and the renal metastasis may present several years after diagnosis of the primary tumor. The majority of secondary tumors of the kidney are asymptomatic, incidentally discovered, and solitary. There should be a high index of suspicion of metastasis to the kidney in patients with an associated enlarging renal lesion with minimal to no enhancement on imaging and tumor progression of a known high-grade nonrenal malignancy. Secondary tumors of the kidney can be accurately diagnosed by correlating histopathologic features with clinical and radiographic findings and the judicious use of ancillary studies.

Abstract
Inflammatory myofibroblastic tumor (IMT) is a rare mesenchymal tumor that can develop in numerous organs, most commonly in the lungs and rarely in the brain. Here, we reported a 55-year-old patient with nasopharyngeal IMT and the recurrence in the skull base, slope and pterygoid sinus who underwent cranial base and slope tumor resection. Postoperative magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and multiplex immunohistochemistry (mIHC) showed tumor recurrence and metastasis to the intracalvarium. While genetic testing revealed no significant related gene mutations, tertiary mutations in NSD1 and SOX9 genes were identified in the tumor tissues. The patient achieved partial remission after receiving 7 cycles of immunotherapy (toripalimab 240 mg for 1 cycle followed by 6 cycles of sintilimab 200 mg), and MRI examination indicated an almost complete remission of intracranial IMT after 16 cycles of immunotherapy. In summary, the novel class of immune-targeted agents may be effective in clinical management of rare intracranial IMT.

Abstract
Background Inflammatory myofibroblastic tumor (IMT) of the lung is a rare lung tumor, accounting for 0.7% of all lung tumors. They are usually benign, but can invade surrounding structures, undergo malignant transformation, recur, or even metastasize. Case report We report a 44-year-old adult diabetic male from Saudi Arabia who had been suffering from cough with severe sputum and left shoulder pain for 2 weeks. Chest radiography (X-ray and computed tomography (CT)) revealed the presence of a mass lesion in the left lower upper lobe with central cavitation. The diagnosis of inflammatory myofibroblast lung tumor was confirmed by histological and immunohistochemical examination of the CT guided lung biopsy. The patient was successfully treated with surgical resection of the tumor by left limited thoracotomy with safety margin, and IMT was also documented. Conclusion A high degree of suspicion of a solitary pulmonary mass is required for diagnosis and management of an inflammatory myofibroblastic lung tumor. The clinical and radiologic presentation of an inflammatory myofibroblastic tumor is nonspecific and the diagnosis is rarely made before surgical biopsy. Histologic and immunohistochemical examination is usually required to confirm the diagnosis and prevent recurrence.

Abstract
INTRODUCTION Inflammatory myofibroblastic tumor (IMT) of the trachea is rare tumor mostly found in children and young adults. CASE REPORT We report a case of a 28 year-old woman who presented chronic isolated coughing. Chest CT scan showed a tracheal tumor. Rigid bronchoscopy allowed the complete removal of the tumor, and histology confirmed the diagnosis of IMT. 12 months follow-up found no recurrence. DISCUSSION IMT is a rare tumor exhibiting both benign and aggressive behaviour. The endoscopic approach of tracheal should be considered when there is a minimal tracheal wall invasion. CONCLUSION Through this case, we want to emphasise the role of rigid bronchoscopy in the complete removal of endotracheal IMT.

Abstract
Inflammatory myofibroblastic tumors (IMTs) are mesenchymal solid tumors, in which anaplastic lymphoma kinase (ALK) gene rearrangement might be detected. A 48-year-old female presented with IMT of lung, treated with surgery. After a 39-month disease-free survival metastatic recurrence was occurred involving soft tissues both infra- and supradiaphragmatic regions. The biopsies obtained from metastatic regions confirmed the recurrence with ALK rearrangement in immunohistochemistry. Initial partial response observed early in treatment course remained as a stable disease with crizotinib treatment. Although an excellent outcome with overall survival of 57 months was observed in our case, there is not enough information about survivals with crizotinib and the treatment options beyond progression. Therefore, every individual case has a unique value paving the way for more effective treatment.

Abstract
To investigate the clinical and pathological characteristics in patients with pulmonary inflammatory pseudotumors (PIP).This retrospective study included 31 patients with PIP from 2001 to 2019. Preoperative computed tomography scan was performed in all patients. Clinical and pathological characteristics were collected and analyzed.Thirty-one patients (16 female and 15 male) were recruited, with a median age of 57 years (range, 11-72 years). Eight (25.8%) patients were asymptomatic, and the others had symptoms characterized by cough with sputum, chest and back pain, dry cough, fever and blood in sputum, or hemoptysis. All cases were single lesions, including 23 cases in the right lung, and 8 cases in the left lung. Computed tomography scan demonstrated irregular lobulated nodules or masses in 14 patients, and regular round or oval nodules or masses in 11 cases. The blurred edge of tumors and spiculation was found in 12 cases. Microscopic results were characterized by the collection of inflammatory mesenchymal cells. Immunohistochemical examination showed vimentin, smooth muscle actin, and anaplastic lymphoma kinase positive. Complete tumor resection was obtained in all cases. No recurrence or metastasis was observed during the follow-up period.PIP has a variety of manifestations. Preoperative diagnosis is difficult to reach. The final diagnosis still depends on the pathological and immunohistochemical examination. Complete surgical resection is the main treatment at present, and the overall prognosis is good.

Abstract
Inflammatory myofibroblastic tumor (IMT) is a rare mesenchymal tumor usually seen within the first and second decade. They are extremely rare in adults, constituting less than 1% of adult lung tumors. It's usually benign, but it had a tendency for local recurrence. We report a case of asymptomatic inflammatory myofibroblastic tumor of lung in a 46-year-old non-smoker woman.

Abstract
Inflammatory myofibroblastic tumor (IMT) of the lung is a rare neoplasm that commonly behaves in an indolent fashion and is generally treated with complete surgical excision. The management of unresectable IMT presents a significant challenge, especially in cases with multiple comorbidities, and a consensus has yet to be reached on the most appropriate first-line modality. We present a case of unresectable IMT causing severe stenosis of the left pulmonary artery in a patient on immunosuppressive therapy for perinuclear antineutrophil cytoplasmic antibody vasculitis. The patient was successfully treated with localized radiotherapy to a total dose of 45 Gy in five weeks, and has been followed for more than seven years since treatment. In this case report, we review the pertinent literature and illustrate the difficulties in diagnosing and treating rare neoplasms in a patient with significant medical comorbidities.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Inflammatory myofibroblastic tumor (IMT) is a rare mesenchymal tumor that is characterized by spindle cells differentiated from muscle fibroblasts and infiltration of various types of inflammatory cells. IMT can occur at any age and at any anatomic site. The most common location of IMT is the bladder in the genitourinary tract. Only scarce cases of kidney IMT have been reported in the literature.
CASE SUMMARY A 77-year-old woman, with a history of bilateral renal calculus for 15 years, was admitted to the Department of Urology of our hospital complaining of recurrent painless gross hematuria for one month. The treatment with cephalosporin was ineffective. Computed tomography imaging showed a mixed density and slightly heterogeneously enhanced lesion in the middle pole of the left kidney and ipsilateral adrenal enlargement. The patient underwent surgical treatment by retroperitoneoscopic left radical nephrectomy plus adrenalectomy. A large number of typical spindle cells surrounded by plasma cells and lymphocytes were observed microscopically. Immunohistochemical analyses indicated that these spindle cells were positive for vimentin, cytokeratin (CK), Ki-67, CK7, CD34, and CD31 and were focally positive for CD10 and anaplastic lymphoma kinase (ALK-1). Thus, a diagnosis of IMT was made definitively. The patient recovered well after operation, and no recurrence or metastasis was noted during the 22-mo follow-up.
CONCLUSION Since kidney IMT is very rare and lacks characteristic clinical manifestation, it is easily misdiagnosed as a malignant tumor before operation. Surgery remains the best choice for diagnosis and treatment, and such cases must be followed carefully because of the uncertain biological behavior of this tumor. This report suggests that renal calculus may be one of the causes of IMT, but further investigation is necessary to prove it.

Abstract
INTRODUCTION Malignant diseases are well-known complications after lung transplantation (LT). Among these, inflammatory myofibroblastic tumor (IMT) is a rare neoplasm with a not well-known and often aggressive biological behavior. MATERIAL AND METHODS We hereby describe 2 cases of cystic fibrosis patients who underwent bilateral sequential LT (BSLT) complicated by IMT. RESULTS A 26-year-old man presented a right endobronchial lesion 6 months after BSLT. Two consecutive fiber bronchoscopic biopsies showed granulation tissue. For the persistent lesion growth, the patient underwent a transthoracic biopsy showing histologic diagnosis of IMT. Therefore, he underwent to right pneumonectomy that was unfortunately complicated after 6 months with a late bronchopleural fistula and empyema with exitus 6 months later. A 31-year-old woman 1 year after BSLT presented with a left voluminous pleural-parenchymal lesion; the histologic examination after biopsy revealed an IMT. She underwent a removal of the lesion with a macroscopic R0 resection. Histologic, immunophenotypic, and cytogenetic examinations showed a strong overexpression of anaplastic lymphoma kinase requiring biological adjuvant therapies; however, the patient refused it. Four years later, she presented a recurrence treated with debulking procedure and adjuvant radiotherapy. At last follow-up, the patient was alive with stable disease and optimal graft function. CONCLUSIONS Although IMT is a rare complication after lung transplant, to obtain a careful diagnosis, an early and aggressive treatment is mandatory.

Abstract
Chest wall or pleural-based tumours represent a heterogeneous group of lesions that are infrequent in children and infants; however, a large proportion of these lesions are malignant in nature. Categorising them on the basis of primary versus secondary, site of origin (osseous and cartilage, or soft tissue) and tissue composition may assist in narrowing the differential diagnosis. We present a case of a 7-year-old boy with a progressive history of dyspnoea. The initial chest radiograph (CXR) demonstrated complete opacification of the left hemithorax with no air bronchograms. This was associated with the cut-off of the left main bronchus and mediastinal shift to the right. The post-contrast computed tomography (CT) of the chest showed multiple left-sided enhancing pleural-based masses with collapse of the left lung. These lesions were locally invasive as demonstrated by the intra and extra-thoracic extension. There were no associated erosions of the adjacent ribs or intra-tumoural calcifications. Based on the imaging findings, the diagnosis of extra-skeletal Ewing sarcoma (ES-EWS) of the chest wall was made with a differential diagnosis of rhabdomyosarcoma. A core biopsy was performed of the pleural-based mass, and histology with immunohistochemistry confirmed the diagnosis of a malignant small round blue cell tumour; subtype Ewing sarcoma family tumour (ESFT). The child was subsequently commenced on chemotherapy. The diagnosis of ES-EWS should be considered when a child or adolescent presents with an ill-defined, eccentric, chest wall mass in the absence of a lesion with a primary osseous origin. Imaging plays a key role in tumour staging, therapeutic planning and follow-up of patients.
