Abstract
Lobular capillary hemangioma (LCH), previously known as pyogenic granuloma, is a benign vascular lesion commonly found within the oral and nasal cavities. However, it is rarely encountered within the trachea, especially in pediatric patients, where it manifests as hemoptysis, cough, and wheeze, and is frequently misdiagnosed as bronchitis or asthma. There is limited literature on the presentation, behavior, and management of tracheal LCH. Herein, we describe a rare case of tracheal LCH in an 11-year-old boy with a history of hemoptysis, which was successfully managed with arterial embolization followed by electrocautery loop snaring via flexible bronchoscopy. No complications occurred during and after the procedure. A review of the relevant literature is also provided. Our case is unique, given the therapeutic strategy utilized for pediatric tracheal LCH, and reminds physicians to be aware of tracheal LCH in the differential diagnosis for hemoptysis.

Abstract
Tracheal hemangioma is a very rare benign vascular tumor. Few cases of tracheal hemangioma in children are reported in the literature. Chronic cough is the main symptom of the disease; however, hemoptysis is rarely reported as a symptom of tracheal hemangioma in children. Here, we report a case of tracheal hemangioma in an eight-year-old girl admitted to our pediatric department for recurrent hemoptysis. Routine biological and radiological investigations were normal. Diagnosis was made using computed tomography and bronchoscopy. Beta-blocker therapy was not efficient. Bronchoscopic treatment by electrical excision enables complete recovery. Tracheal hemangioma should be considered a cause of recurrent hemoptysis when routine biological and radiological investigations are negative.

Abstract
Lobular capillary hemangioma is a rare benign lesion found within the tracheobronchial tree. Patients usually present with recurrent hemoptysis, chronic cough, and rarely, with airway obstruction. We present a case of tracheal lobular capillary hemangioma in a 70-year-old man who presented with stridor and chronic cough. Bronchoscopy showed a 2-cm polypoidal lesion below the vocal cords, which was resected with an electrocautery snare using a rigid bronchoscope. Clinicians should be aware of this entity as one of the differentials for stridor. Bronchoscopic excision of the tumor is feasible and is a minimally invasive therapeutic option for management of these tumors.

Abstract
Tracheal hemangioma is a rare benign vascular tumor in adults. We reported a case of massive hemoptysis caused by a cavernous hemangioma in a 75-year-old man. This is the first report, to our knowledge, of a tracheal cavernous hemangioma that presented with massive hemoptysis. The lesion was removed with a CO2 laser under rigid laryngoscopy. Endovascular tumors, such as tracheobronchial hemangiomas, should be considered a diagnostic option in cases of massive hemoptysis without a significant underlying lung lesion.

Abstract
Background Lobular Capillary Hemangioma (LCH) is a benign tumour that is known to be hormone responsive and have a relatively high incidence during pregnancy, the most common site being the gingival surfaces. A tracheal origin for this tumour is extremely rare, with no case reported so far in this patient population, and the only reported clinical presentation of tracheal LCH in the literature is with haemoptysis. Case presentation We describe a case of a 23-year-old known asthmatic who presented at 32 weeks gestation with life-threatening respiratory failure resembling acute severe asthma, requiring invasive ventilation which was extremely difficult. This was subsequently found to be due to a large tracheal LCH producing a ball-valve phenomenon and predominantly expiratory airflow limitation similar to acute asthma. The endotracheal tube was advanced past the lesion under bronchoscopic guidance, and urgent Caesarean section performed due to foetal distress. The tumour was subsequently debulked and the trachea stented, facilitated by bi-femoral veno-venous extra-corporeal membrane oxygenation with relatively low dose of heparin. Conclusion To our knowledge, this is the first report of a unique presentation and management of largest tracheal LCH so far occurring during pregnancy. Pulmonary and critical care physicians should be aware of this unique differential of refractory asthma, the aggressive nature of this benign tumour due to hormonal influences during pregnancy, and feasibility of using bi-femoral veno-venous extra-corporeal membrane oxygenation with low dose heparin as a rescue, given the high risk of bleeding.

Abstract
Pyogenic granuloma (PG), also known as lobular capillary hemangioma, is a common, acquired, non-neoplastic, vascular lesion that is often found on the skin and oral mucosa. The term "pyogenic granuloma" is a misnomer, as the lesion does not contain purulent material and is not a granuloma. Lesions have also been reported in the gastrointestinal tract and during pregnancy. PG is a smooth or lobulated, red lesion on a sessile or pedunculated base that varies in size from a few millimeters and rarely exceeds 2.5 cm. The etiology of PG remains unclear but they are thought to develop spontaneously or after local minor trauma where excess production of angiogenic growth factors have been implicated. Trachea PG lesion is rare and there is only 1 known report in the literature. Our case is unique, given the location of the lesion and our treatment using bronchoscopic cryosurgery.

Abstract
Lobular capillary hemangiomas (LCH) have been cited in the literature as a rare potential cause for recurrent hemoptysis. They are mostly associated with cutaneous and mucosal surfaces. Rarely do they affect the trachea and associated airways in adults. Lobular capillary hemangiomas can be associated with previous trauma to the airway; however, drugs, hormonal shifts, viral oncogenes, production of angiogenic factors, and cytogenetic clonal deletion abnormalities can also influence these lesions. We document a case of a posterior wall tracheal hemangioma with associated recurrent hemoptysis in a 22-year-old male on testosterone therapy. An LCH attached to the posterior tracheal wall can be technically difficult to remove due to risk of perforation and bleeding. There have been no cases documented of posterior wall LCH.

Abstract
A benign lesion also known as pyogenic granuloma, lobular capillary hemangioma (LCH) is relatively common a cutaneous and mucosal lesion. Earlier reports of LCH within the larynx and trachea have been reviewed and determined to be granulation tissue with an earlier history of airway trauma. Histopathologic review varies over time in this vascular lesion. Earlier, there is an extensive inflammatory infiltrate similar to granulation tissue; however, this becomes fibromyxoid as the lesion matures. An appropriate history is therefore mandatory to exclude any potential trauma, which would lead to granulation tissue as a result of injury. There is only one case reported earlier in the literature of LCH in the trachea.

Abstract
A 66-year-old man with mitral stenosis on coumadin presents with hemoptysis caused by a capillary hemangioma of the proximal airways. Argon plasma coagulation was utilized to treat the lesions resulting in resolution of hemoptysis. Tracheobronchial capillary hemangiomas are rare in adults, but are easily discovered and treated with bronchoscopic intervention. The literature to date is reviewed pertaining to adult tracheobronchial capillary hemangiomas.
