Abstract
Gastric duplication cyst (GDC) is a rare gastrointestinal malformation that frequently occurs in the greater curvature of the gastric antrum or corpus. Herein, we reported a case of intrapancreatic GDC found as a result of recurring pancreatitis. A 15-year-old man experienced repeated episodes of acute pancreatitis and was found to have a cystic lesion in the pancreatic tail. Contrast-enhanced computed tomography revealed a 20-mm cystic lesion with an enhanced thick wall. Endoscopic ultrasonography revealed an anechoic cyst with a three-layered wall. Magnetic resonance cholangiopancreatography and endoscopic retrograde pancreatography (ERP) revealed a connection between the cyst and the main pancreatic duct (MPD), and the duplication of the MPD. ERP showed the pancreatic duct stenosis downstream of the cyst. Although preoperative diagnosis was difficult, distal pancreatectomy was performed to prevent recurrence of pancreatitis. Pathological examination revealed that the cystic lesion was circumferentially surrounded by the pancreatic parenchyma. The epithelial lining of the cyst was crypt epithelium containing the fundic or pyloric glands and surrounded by a smooth muscle layer. The final diagnosis was intrapancreatic GDC.

Abstract
We present a series of patients with recurrent acute pancreatitis caused by a duplicated pancreatic head connected to a gastric duplication and successfully treated by conservative surgery. This retrospective study included consecutive adult patients referred to our institution for recurrent acute pancreatitis. All patients underwent a preoperative non-invasive imaging examination including contrast-enhanced computed tomography and magnetic resonance cholangiopancreatography (MRCP). The final diagnosis of this developmental anomaly was based on surgical and pathological examinations. The four patients in this study had the same typical imaging pattern including a duplicated duct. There was no recurrent acute pancreatitis after surgical treatment, which involved atypical resection of the duplicated pancreatic head and segmental gastric resection, without a Whipple procedure. The discovery of an accessory pancreatic head with a duct terminating in a cyst identified on MRCP in a patient with recurrent acute pancreatitis could suggest this rare and surgically treatable cause of acute pancreatitis.

Abstract
BACKGROUND The combination of a gastric duplication cyst and duplicated part of the pancreas is an extremely rare developmental defect. The incidence in the population, or the clinical impact thereof, has not been uncovered. Symptoms are unspecific. Surgery is the treatment of choice. Timely diagnostics are of utmost importance, albeit they might be challenging at times. Being so rare, case reports are currently the only relevant source of information about the condition. Therefore each published finding is of a clinical impact.
CASE SUMMARY Our work describes the case of a 22 year-old patient, who developed idiopathic acute pancreatitis. A computed tomography scan discovered liquid collection between the antrum of the stomach and the head of the pancreas. Initially, the collection was thought to be a pancreatic pseudocyst. Endoscopic ultrasound-guided transgastric drainage showed to have only a temporary therapeutic effect. Magnetic resonance cholangiopancreatography showed an accessory pancreatic lobe with a separate duct system. The accessory pancreatic lobe exited the body of the pancreas and was in contact with the cystic collection. The patient was indicated for surgical resection. Within the surgery, an en bloc resection of the accessory pancreatic lobe was performed with the antrum of the stomach containing the gastric duplication cyst. No complications were observed in the surgery or thereafter. In the five months follow-up period, the patient was completely symptom free. Histopathological findings confirmed the gastric duplication cyst communicating to accessory pancreatic lobe.
CONCLUSION This developmental defect is extremely rare. It can cause recurrent acute pancreatitis. Diagnostics are challenging. Surgery is treatment of choice.

Abstract
Pancreas-associated enteric duplication cysts are rare developmental anomalies that communicate with the main pancreatic duct and may be associated with recurrent acute and chronic abdominal pain in children. In adults, these lesions may masquerade as pancreatic pseudocysts or pancreatic cystic neoplasms. An adult patient with a pancreas-associated enteric duplication is described which represents the first reported instance of association with both chronic calcific pancreatitis and pancreatic cancer. The clinical spectrum of pancreas-associated enteric duplication cyst, including diagnostic and therapeutic options, is reviewed.

Abstract
We report a rare case of a gastric duplication cyst in the tail of the pancreas in a child presenting with chronic abdominal pain which was cured by excision of the cyst and adjacent pancreas. This case report highlights the role of sonography as an excellent imaging tool for depiction of the bowel wall and, hence, in aiding diagnosis even when clinical picture and findings of other modalities are nonspecific.

Abstract
Though congenital anomalies of the pancreas and pancreatic duct are relatively uncommon and they are often discovered as an incidental finding in asymptomatic patients, some of these anomalies may lead to various clinical symptoms such as recurrent abdominal pain, nausea and vomiting. Recognition of these anomalies is important because these anomalies may be a surgically correctable cause of recurrent pancreatitis or the cause of gastric outlet obstruction. An awareness of these anomalies may help in surgical planning and prevent inadvertent ductal injury. The purpose of this article is to review normal pancreatic embryology, the appearance of ductal anatomic variants and developmental anomalies of the pancreas, with emphasis on magnetic resonance cholangiopancreaticography and multidetector computed tomography.

Abstract
An 11-day-old neonate presents with worsening nonbilious emesis and radiographic findings suggestive of pyloric stenosis. Using a laparoscopic approach, a slightly asymmetric and hypertrophied pylorus was visualized. The unusual age of presentation and appearance of the pylorus led to the decision to perform an open exploration for suspicion of a pyloric duplication. An incision of the pyloric muscle exposed and confirmed a duplication cyst. Further exposure revealed accessory pancreatic tissue communicating from the cyst to the main body of the pancreas. The duplication cyst and accessory pancreas were resected, and the patient had an uneventful recovery. Pyloric duplication is a rare cause of congenital extrinsic obstruction in the newborn. Even rarer is a communication of the duplication cyst with the pancreas. Resection of the duplication cyst and the aberrant pancreatic tissue and duct is recommended.
