Abstract
Background As a fatal disease, cytokine storm has garnered research attention in recent years. Nonetheless, as the body of related studies expands, a thorough and impartial evaluation of the current status of research on cytokine storms remains absent. Consequently, this study aimed to thoroughly explore the research landscape and evolution of cytokine storm utilizing bibliometric and knowledge graph approaches. Methods Research articles and reviews centered on cytokine storms were retrieved from the Web of Science Core Collection database. For bibliometric analysis, tools such as Excel 365, CiteSpace, VOSviewer, and the Bibliometrix R package were utilized. Results This bibliometric analysis encompassed 6647 articles published between 2004 and 2022. The quantity of pertinent articles and citation frequency exhibited a yearly upward trend, with a sharp increase starting in 2020. Network analysis of collaborations reveals that the United States holds a dominant position in this area, boasting the largest publication count and leading institutions. Frontiers in Immunology ranks as the leading journal for the largest publication count in this area. Stephan A. Grupp, a prominent researcher in this area, has authored the largest publication count and has the second-highest citation frequency. Research trends and keyword evaluations show that the connection between cytokine storm and COVID-19, as well as cytokine storm treatment, are hot topics in research. Furthermore, research on cytokine storm and COVID-19 sits at the forefront in this area. Conclusion This study employed bibliometric analysis to create a visual representation of cytokine storm research, revealing current trends and burgeoning topics in this area for the first time. It will provide valuable insights, helping scholars pinpoint critical research areas and potential collaborators.

Abstract
Endothelial and epithelial barrier dysfunction due to increased permeability and heightened inflammatory reactions influences the emergence of acute lung injury (ALI) and acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS). Nevertheless, bibliometric research comparing endothelial and epithelial barriers is limited. Therefore, this bibliometric study analyzed the Web of Science Core Collection (WoSCC) of the Science Citation Index Expanded literature to explore present research priorities and development tendencies within this field. We conducted a comprehensive search (October 18, 2023) on WoSCC from January 1, 2010, to October 18, 2023, focusing on articles related to endothelial and epithelial barriers in ALI and ARDS. Retrieved data were visualized and analyzed using R-bibliometrix, VOS viewer 1.6.19, and CiteSpace 6.2. R4. Functional enrichment analysis of gene targets identified in the keyword list using Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes (KEGG) and Gene ontology databases, and based on the STRING database to construct a PPI network to predict core genes. A total of 941 original articles and reviews were identified. The United States had the highest number of publications and citations and the highest H-index and G-index. According to the Collaboration Network Analysis graph, the United States and China had the strongest collaboration. Birukova AA had the most publications and citations among all authors, while eight of the top ten institutions with mediator centrality were located in the United States. The American Journal of Physiology-Lung Cellular and Molecular Physiology was the leading journal and had the most well-established publication on endothelial and epithelial barriers in ALI and ARDS. Bibliometric analysis revealed that the most frequently used keywords were acute lung injury, ARDS, activation, expression, and inflammation. RHOA appeared most frequently among gene-related keywords, and the PI3K-AKT signaling pathway had the highest count in KEGG pathway enrichment. Research on endothelial versus epithelial barriers in ALI and ARDS remains preliminary. This bibliometric study examined cooperative network connections among countries, authors, journals, and network associations in the cited references. Investigation of the functions of the endothelial and epithelial barriers in ALI/ARDS associated with COVID-19 has recently gained significant attention.

Abstract
Tumor vascular normalization profoundly affects the advancement of cancer therapy. Currently, with the rapid increase in research on tumor vascular normalization, few analytical and descriptive studies have investigated the trends in its development, key research power, present research hotspots, and future outlooks. In this study, articles and reviews published between January 1, 2003, and October 29, 2022 were retrieved from Web of Science database. Subsequently, published research trends, countries/regions, institutions, authors, journals, references, and keywords were analyzed based on traditional bibliometric laws (such as Price's exponential growth, Bradford's, Lotka's, and Zipf's). Our results showed that the last two decades have seen an increase in tumor vascular normalization research. USA emerged as the preeminent contributor to the field, boasting the highest H-index and accruing the greatest quantity of publications and citations. Among institutions, Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard University made significant contributions, and Professor RK Jain was identified as a key leader in this field. Out of 583 academic journals, Cancer Research and Clinical Cancer Research published the most articles on vascular normalization. The research focal points in the field primarily include immunotherapy, tumor microenvironments, nanomedicine, and emerging frontier themes such as metabolism and mechanomedicine. Concurrently, the challenges of vascular normalization in cancer are discussed as well. In conclusion, the study presented a thorough analysis of the literature covering the past 20 years on vascular normalization in cancer, highlighting leading countries, institutions, authors, journals, and the emerging research focal points in this field. Future studies will advance the ongoing efforts in the field of tumor vascular normalization, aiming to enhance our ability to effectively manage and treat cancer.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Astragaloside IV has emerged as a pharmaceutical monomer with great medical applications and potential. Astragaloside IV has many effects such as improving myocardial ischemia, cerebral ischemia-reperfusion injury, anti-inflammatory, analgesic, antiviral, promoting lymphocyte proliferation, and antitumor effects. However, there are few bibliometric studies on astragaloside IV. OBJECTIVES We aim to visualize the hotspots and trends in astragaloside IV research through bibliometric analysis to further understand the future development of basic and clinical research. Methods The articles and reviews on astragaloside IV were screened from the Web of Science Core Collection, and knowledge maps were generated using CiteSpace software. Bibliometric analysis was performed on 971 articles published from 1998 to 2022. RESULTS The number of articles on astragaloside IV increased yearly. These publications came from 42 countries/regions, with China being the largest. The primary research institutions were Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Journal of Ethnopharmacology was the most studied journal and co-cited journal. A total of 473 authors were included, among which Hongxin Wang had the highest number of publications and Zhang Wd had the highest total citation frequency. After analysis, the most common keywords are astragaloside IV, expression, and oxidative stress. Cardiovascular disease, cerebral ischemia, cancer, and kidney disease are current and developing research fields. CONCLUSION This study used bibliometrics and visualization methods to analyze the research hotspots and trends of astragaloside IV. Astragaloside IV on ischemia-reperfusion injury, cancer, and tumor may become the focus of future research.

Abstract
Background In the pursuit of causal insights into neural circuit functionality, various interventions, including electrical, genetic, and pharmacological approaches, have been applied over recent decades. This study employs a comprehensive bibliometric perspective to explore the field of neural circuits. Methods Reviews and articles on neural circuits were obtained from the Web of Science Core Collection (WOSCC) database on Apr. 12, 2023. In this article, co-authorship analysis, co-occurrence analysis, citation analysis, bibliographic analysis, and co-citation analysis were used to clarify the authors, journals, institutions, countries, topics, and internal associations between them. Results More than 2000 organizations from 52 different countries published 3975 articles in the field of "neural circuit" were used to analysis. Luo liqun emerged as the most prolific author, and Deisseroth Karl garners the highest co-citations (3643). The Journal of Neuroscience leaded in publications, while Nature toped in citations. Chinese Academy of Science recorded the highest article count institutionally, with Stanford University ranking first with 14,350 citations. Since 2020, neurodynamic, anxiety-related mechanisms, and GABAergic neurons have gained prominence, shaping the trajectory of neural circuitry research. Conclusions Our investigation has discerned a paradigmatic reorientation towards neurodynamic processes, anxiety-related mechanisms, and GABAergic neurons within the domain of neural circuit research. This identification intimates a prospective trajectory for the field. In the future, it is imperative for research endeavors to accord priority to the translational application of these discernments, with the aim of materializing tangible clinical solutions.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Malignancy after kidney transplantation (MKT) remains a leading cause of death in transplant recipients and over the past few decades there have been many reports on this topic. However, the task of extracting crucial information from intricate events poses a significant challenge in guiding clinical work. Hence, bibliometrics was employed to summarize and predict the future in this study. MATERIAL AND METHODS Reviews and articles on MKT were extracted from the Web of Science Core Collection (WoSCC) and were analyzed by the software VOSviewer, CiteSpace, Scimago Graphica, and R package Bibliometrix for bibliometric analysis. RESULTS The analysis considered 5700 publications from 28 647 authors and 4924 institutions across 100 countries, spanning the years 1970-2022. Reference co-citation analysis showed that "renal cell carcinoma", "skin cancer", "post-transplant lymphoproliferative disorder" and "COVID-19 vaccine" were research hotspots. Keywords that co-occurred early were "immunosuppressant", "cancer", "Epstein-Barr virus", "squamous cell carcinoma", and "infection", etc., while "impact","risk factor", "outcomes", "mortality", "management" frequently co-occurred later. From 2020 to 2022, newly emerging keywords such as "SARS-CoV-2" and "COVID-19", together with citation bursts for "immune checkpoint inhibitors" and "ipilimumab," were observed. CONCLUSIONS The focus of MKT-related studies has evolved from exploring the spectrum, risk factors, and outcomes of MKT, to examining the pathogenesis, individualized screening, prevention, and treatment, including appropriate use of immune checkpoint inhibitors. Reports of renal transplant recipients infected with SARS-CoV-2 or COVID-19 have also gained attention since 2019. These suggest that individualized management remains a frontier for research and a future direction in MKT topics.

Abstract
Increasing evidence indicated that mitophagy might play a crucial role in the occurrence and progression of liver diseases. In order to enhance our understanding of the intricate relationship between mitophagy and liver diseases, a comprehensive bibliometric analysis of the existing literature in this field was conducted. This analysis aimed to identify key trends, potential areas of future research, and forecast the development of this specific field. We systematically searched the Web of Science Core Collection (WoSCC) for publications related to mitophagy in liver diseases from 2000 to 2022. We conducted the bibliometric analysis and data visualization through VOSviewer and CiteSpace. The analysis of publication growth revealed a substantial increase in articles published in this field over the past years, indicating mitophagy's growing interest and significance in liver diseases. China and USA emerged as the leading contributors in the number of papers, with 294 and 194 independent papers, respectively. Exploring the mechanism of mitophagy in the initiation and procession of liver diseases was the main content of studies in this field, and Parkin-independent mediated mitophagy has attracted much attention recently. "Lipid metabolism," "cell death," "liver fibrosis" and "oxidative stress" were the primary keywords clusters. Additionally, "nlrp3 inflammasome", "toxicity" and "nonalcoholic steatohepatitis" were emerging research hotspots in this area and have the potential to continue to be focal areas of investigation in the future. This study represents the first systematic bibliometric analysis of research on mitophagy in liver diseases conducted over the past 20 years. By providing an overview of the existing literature and identifying current research trends, this analysis sheds light on the critical areas of investigation and paves the way for future studies in this field.

Abstract
Background In recent years, new therapeutic options to overcome the mechanisms of tumor immune suppression be effective in the treatment of cutaneous melanoma. These approaches have also been applied in ocular melanoma. The aim of this study is to present the current status and research hotspots of immunotherapy for ocular melanoma from a bibliometric perspective and to explore the field of immunotherapy for malignant ocular melanoma research. Methods In this study, the Web of Science Core Collection database (WoSCC) and Pubmed were selected to search the literature related to immunotherapy of ocular melanoma. Using VOSviewer, CiteSpace, the R package "bibliometrix," and the bibliometric online platform through the construction and visualization of bibliometric networks, the country/region, institution, journal, author, and keywords were analyzed to predict the most recent trends in research pertaining to ocular melanoma and immunotherapy. Results A total of 401 papers and 144 reviews related to immunotherapy of ocular melanoma were included. The United States is the main driver of research in the field, ranking first in terms of the number of publications, total citations, and H-index. The UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS SYSTEM is the most active institution, contributing the most papers. Jager, Martine is the most prolific author, and Carvajal, Richard is the most frequently cited author. CANCERS is the most published journal in the field and J CLIN ONCOL is the most cited journal. In addition to ocular melanoma and immunotherapy, the most popular keywords were "uveal melanoma" and "targeted therapy". According to keyword co-occurrence and burst analysis, uveal melanoma, immunotherapy, melanoma, metastases, bap1, tebentafusp, bioinformatics, conjunctival melanoma, immune checkpoint inhibitors, ipilimumab, pembrolizumab, and other research topics appear to be at the forefront of this field's research and have the potential to remain a hot research topic in the future. Conclusion This is the first bibliometric study in the last 30 years to comprehensively map the knowledge structure and trends in the field of research related to ocular melanoma and immunotherapy. The results comprehensively summarize and identify research frontiers for scholars studying immunotherapy associated with ocular melanoma.

Abstract
Multimodal molecular imaging technologies have been widely used to optimize medical research and clinical practice. Bibliometric analysis was performed to identify global research trends, hot spots, and scientific frontiers of multimodal molecular imaging technology from 2012 to 2021. The articles and reviews related to multimodal molecular imaging were retrieved from the Web of Science Core Collection. A bibliometric study was performed using CiteSpace and VOSviewer. A total of 4169 articles and reviews from 2012 to 2021 were analyzed. An increasing trend in the number of articles on multimodal molecular imaging technology was observed. These publications mainly come from 417 institutions in 92 countries, led by the USA and China. K. Bailey Freund published the most papers amongst the publications, while R.F. Spaide had the most co-citations. A dual map overlay of the literature shows that most publications were specialized in physics/materials/chemistry, and molecular/biology/immunology. Synergistic therapy in cancer, advanced nanotechnology, and multimodal imaging in ophthalmology are new trends and developing areas of interest. A global bibliometric and visualization analysis was used to comprehensively review the published research related to multimodal molecular imaging. This study may help in understanding the dynamic patterns of multimodal molecular imaging technology research and point out the developing areas of this field.

Abstract
Background: In recent years, there has been an increasing interest in using extracellular vesicles (EVs) as potential therapeutic agents or natural drug delivery systems in kidney-related diseases. However, a detailed and targeted report on the current condition of extracellular vesicle research in kidney-related diseases is lacking. Therefore, this prospective study was designed to investigate the use of bibliometric analysis to comprehensively overview the current state of research and frontier trends on extracellular vesicle research in kidney-related diseases using visualization tools. Methods: The Web of Science Core Collection (WoSCC) database was searched to identify publications related to extracellular vesicle research in kidney-related diseases since 1999. Citespace, Microsoft Excel 2019, VOSviewer software, the R Bibliometrix Package, and an online platform were used to analyze related research trends to stratify the publication data and collaborations. Results: From 1 January 1999 to 26 June 2022, a total of 1,122 EV-related articles and reviews were published, and 6,486 authors from 1,432 institutions in 63 countries or regions investigated the role of extracellular vesicles in kidney-related diseases. We found that the number of articles on extracellular vesicles in kidney-related diseases increased every year. Dozens of publications were from China and the United States. China had the most number of related publications, in which the Southeast University (China) was the most active institution in all EV-related fields. Liu Bi-cheng published the most papers on extracellular vesicles, while Clotilde Théry had the most number of co-citations. Most papers were published by The International Journal of Molecular Sciences, while Kidney International was the most co-cited journal for extracellular vesicles. We found that exosome-related keywords included exosome, exosm, expression, extracellular vesicle, microRNA, microvesicle, and liquid biopsy, while disease- and pathological-related keywords included biomarker, microRNA, apoptosis, mechanism, systemic lupus erythematosus, EGFR, acute kidney injury, and chronic kidney disease. Acute kidney disease (AKI), CKD, SLE, exosome, liquid biopsy, and extracellular vesicle were the hotspot in extracellular vesicle and kidney-related diseases research. Conclusion: The field of extracellular vesicles in kidney-related disease research is rapidly growing, and its domain is likely to expand in the next decade. The findings from this comprehensive analysis of extracellular vesicles in kidney-related disease research could help investigators to set new diagnostic, therapeutic, and prognostic ideas or methods in kidney-related diseases.

Abstract
Background Osteoarthritis has the characteristics of degenerative changes in articular cartilage and secondary osteoporosis, and it is a common chronic irreversible joint disease. In addition to affecting articular cartilage, subchondral bone, joint capsule and synovial membrane also undergo pathological changes during the development of the disease. Multiple studies have revealed that patients with osteoarthritis were found to have a significantly increased risk of osteoporosis, which also contributes to the progression of osteoarthritis. However, in the current existing studies, we found that no scholars have used bibliometric analysis in the study of the relationship between osteoarthritis and osteoporosis. From the perspective of bibliometrics, this study summarizes in detail the degree of cooperation between countries, research institutions, authors, and related journals in the field of osteoarthritis and osteoporosis research and their respective influence. In this way, the evolution of knowledge structure, the change of research focus and the hot topics with research potential in the future can be further visualized and analyzed. Methods Search the Web of Science core collection in Science Citation Index Expanded for articles and reviews of research on osteoarthritis and osteoporosis from 1998 to 2021. Bibliometric tools such as VOSviewer, CiteSpace, were be frequently used in our study. They are mainly used to analyze collaborations between countries, research institutions, and publication authors. Meantime, co-citation analysis of journals, co-occurrence analysis of keywords and subject categories will also be reflected in the study. Results According to the search strategy, 1,078 publications were included during the period 1998-2021. And the number of annual publications on the relationship between osteoarthritis and osteoporosis is on the rise. The United States has achieved the most and contributed the most in this field and the Boston University was the most prolific institution. For the statistical analysis of published publications, Reginster JY had the highest number of publications, while Felson DT had the highest co-citation frequency. Respectively, Osteoarthritis And Cartilage was the most productive journal in this area of research. The keywords "inflammation," "expression," and "mesenchymal stem cells" may also be the development trend and research hotspot of the future research direction in this field. Conclusions In our study, the relationship between osteoarthritis and osteoporosis was analyzed by using literature measurement. These analysis results can lead researchers to learn more directly about the trend in this area and provide guidance for determining popular research directions.

Abstract
Transplantation is currently the treatment of choice for end-stage liver diseases but is burdened by the shortage of donor organs. Livers from so-called extended-criteria donors represent a valid option to overcome organ shortage, but they are at risk for severe post-operative complications, especially when preserved with conventional static cold storage. Machine perfusion technology reduces ischemia-reperfusion injury and allows viability assessment of these organs, limiting their discard rate and improving short- and long-term outcomes after transplantation. Moreover, by keeping the graft metabolically active, the normothermic preservation technique guarantees a unique platform to administer regenerative therapies ex vivo. With their anti-inflammatory and immunomodulatory properties, mesenchymal stem cells are among the most promising sources of therapies for acute and chronic liver failure, but their routine clinical application is limited by several biosafety concerns. It is emerging that dynamic preservation and stem cell therapy may supplement each other if combined, as machine perfusion can be used to deliver stem cells to highly injured grafts, avoiding potential systemic side effects. The aim of this narrative review is to provide a comprehensive overview on liver preservation techniques and mesenchymal stem cell-based therapies, focusing on their application in liver graft reconditioning.

Abstract
Background Osteoarthritis(OA) is one of the most common joint diseases, and signaling pathways play an essential role in the occurrence and development of OA, so it is significant to study OA with signaling pathways as an entry point. Purpose This study aims to visualize and map the knowledge of OA-related signaling pathway research between 2012 and 2022, summarise and analyze the current research status and potential development trends in the domain, and provide a reference for future OA-related research. Methods Retrieve relevant literature from the Web of Science database and use VOSviwer and CiteSpace software to visualize authors, institutions, country distribution, references, and keywords. The results are interpreted and analyzed in conjunction with the results obtained. Results According to the search strategy, a total of 4894 articles were published between January 2012 and January 2022; during these ten years, the number of reports increased annually, and the research became further intensive; through this analysis, it was found that China is the most prolific country in this field; The institution with the most articles was Xi'an Jiaotong University from China, and the most prolific author was Tang Chih Hsin; Among the cited references, the reports of Glyn-Jones S and Hunter DJ were ranked first and second respectively. In the keyword analysis, cartilage and expression were the popular keywords; Animal model, akt, and platelet-rich plasma had the highest centrality; Burst analysis revealed pi3k, senescence, Ampk, and exosomes had received more attention in recent years of research. Conclusion This study analyzes and summarizes the current research status and development trend of relevant signaling pathways in OA from the perspective of bibliometric and visual analysis, which can help researchers to keep track of hot topics and conduct more in-depth exploration of research hotspots and frontier knowledge areas.

Abstract
Objective Tumor necrosis factor (TNF), a crucial cytokine, has important research value in post-stroke neuroinflammation (PSN). We analyzed the studies that have been conducted in this area and used bibliometric methods to predict research hotspots and identify trends regarding TNF in PSN. Methods Publications were accessed at the Science Citation Index Expanded 1975-2021 (SCI expanded), Web of Science Core Collection (WoSCC), on May 1, 2022. Additionally, software such as CiteSpace and VOSviewer were utilized for bibliometric analyses. Results In total, 1391 original articles and reviews on TNF in PSN published from 2003 to 2021 were identified. An upward trend was observed in the number of publications on TNF in PSN. These publications were primarily from 57 countries and 1446 institutions, led by China and the United States with China leading the number of publications (NP) and the US with the number of citations (NC). The League of European Research Universities (LERU) and Journal of Neuroinflammation, respectively were the most prolific branches and journals. Zhang, John H. published the most papers and Finsen, Bente had the most cited papers. One paper by Kettenmann, H. published in 2011 reached the highest level of Global Citation Score (GCS). The keyword co-occurrence and reference co-citation analyses suggest that poststroke therapy and potential mechanistic pathways are important topics related to PSN in recent years. Reference burst detection suggests new burst hotspots after 2015, focusing on pathway modulation and discovery of therapeutic targets, suggesting a substantial development in the study of TNF in PSN research. Conclusion The present bibliometric analysis shows a continuous trend of increasing literature related to TNF in PSN, and shows that TNF plays an important role in PSN involves multiple immune mechanisms and may contribute as a potential target for neuroprotective therapeutics after stroke. Prior to 2011, most of the research was focused on discovering the specific role of TNF in PSN, and in recent years studies have mainly targeted the exploration of the signaling pathways. Future research prospects may lie in finding key therapeutic targets in pathway of TNF in PSN.

Abstract
Background In recent years, there has been an increasing number of publications on Meniere's disease. However, there are no bibliometric research on Meniere's disease. The purpose of this study was to find the focus and trends of Meniere's disease research through bibliometric approach. Methods Publications related to Meniere's disease in the Web of Science Core Collection (WOSCC) from 2002 to 2021 were collected. The bibliometric approach was used to estimate the searched data. Research foci of the studies were identified using VOSviewer and CiteSpace software. Results A total of 1,987 articles meet the inclusion criteria and are included in the study. In the past 20 years, the number of Meniere's disease publications is gradually increasing, especially in the past 3 years. The country with the largest contribution to Meniere's disease research is the United States, followed by Europe and Japan. High-frequency keywords included Meniere's disease, endolymphaic hydrops, vertigo, meniere-disease, inner ear, dizziness, symptoms, hearing, diagnosis, and tentamicin. The analyses of keyword burst direction indicate that evoked myogenic potential, MRI, and committee are emerging research hotspots. Conclusion This study provides an objective, systematic, and comprehensive analysis of Meniere's disease-related literature. In addition, we find a dramatic increase in studies in this field over the past 3 years. Evoked myogenic potentials and MRI may become the research hotspots of Meniere's disease in future. This study will help otolaryngologists, neurologists, and audiologists to clarify the research direction and potential hotspots of Meniere's disease and further help clinicians improve patients' prognosis.

Abstract
BackgroundThe treatment of myasthenia gravis (MG) has advanced from steroids and traditional immunosuppressants to targeted immunotherapy. Targeted immunotherapy has been successfully employed in clinical practice in recent years. This study aimed to explore the emerging trend of targeted immunotherapy in MG and summarize the knowledge structure through bibliometric methods.MethodsThe Web of Science Core Collection database (WoSCC) was chosen to retrieve the literature on targeted immunotherapy for MG. Two bibliometric analysis software, VOSviewer and CiteSpace, and bibliometric online platform were mainly used to evaluate the contributions from countries/regions, institutions, journals, and authors through the construction and visualization of bibliometric networks. By systematically reviewing a knowledge domain, future research developments were determined. The R version 4.1.2 and Microsoft Excel 365 were used for statistical analysis.ResultsA total of 562 original articles and 262 reviews relevant to MG targeted immunotherapy were included. The number of publications on targeted immunotherapy for MG exhibited a two-phase advancement. The first stage showed a steady growth trend from 1998 to 2016, with an annual number of no more than 35 publications. The second stage revealed an explosive growth trend from 2017, reaching a peak number of publications in 2020. The United States ranked first in the number of publications, citations, and h-index. The author with the highest citation and h-index was Vincent A. And 28.03% of the articles were published in the top 10 journals. In addition to “myasthenia gravis”, the keyword with the highest consideration was “rituximab”, followed by “double-blind”, which indicate research hotspots gradually from basic research to clinical research over time, especially in the field of targeted immunotherapy. The MG treatment has entered a personalized precision treatment phase. Exploration into new target molecules and conducting high-quality randomized controlled trials on existing biological agents are the further research direction.ConclusionThe current study summarized the global research trends concerning targeted immunotherapy for MG. Research interests gradually advanced from basic research to clinical research. MG treatment has entered a personalized precision treatment phase. Further investigations into new target molecules and high-quality randomized controlled trials on existing biological agents are required urgently to direct future immunotherapy research.
