Abstract
BACKGROUND Internet searches offer an indicator of public attention and possible demand for certain things. Studying the spatiotemporal characteristics of the public's concern for vaccination can determine the spatiotemporal distribution of demand for vaccines in China, and capture the changes in the health awareness of the Chinese population, thus informing future vaccination strategies. METHODS Based on the collection of Baidu search indices for vaccination-related keywords in 363 cities in China, This paper seeks to explore the spatiotemporal changes and regional differences in public attention toward vaccination in China by using the seasonal index, seasonal concentration index, Herfindahl index, Moran index, and Dagum Gini coefficient. RESULTS The following findings are presented. First, there are significant seasonal fluctuations and unbalanced monthly distributions of vaccination-related public attention in China. Second, the public attention in Chinese cities shows the spatial characteristics of "leading in the east, followed by the central, western and northeastern regions". The spatial correlation of attention has been strengthened, and the high-high clusters are mainly distributed in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei (BTH), Yangtze River Delta (YRD), and Greater Bay Area (GBA) urban agglomerations. Third, regional differences in overall public attention narrowed in China, with intra-regional differences narrowing in seven regions (Northwest China, Central China, and so on), and intra-regional differences increasing in East China. The dominant role in the Gini coefficient changes from transvariation intensity to inter-regional differences. CONCLUSION Major public health emergencies stimulate the public's attention to health topics. Although the short-term increase in vaccination-related public attention was not observed to translate into a long-term increase in public vaccine literacy, the seasonal and regional differences in vaccination-related public attention in China have significantly narrowed before and after COVID-19, suggesting that the imbalance between public health literacy levels has improved.

Abstract
Chinese population suffers severe health risk from dietary methylmercury (MeHg) exposure. However, the temporal change of such risk and socioeconomic driving factors remain unknown. This study investigates this issue by compiling time-series inventory of China's MeHg-related health risk at the provincial scale and revealing critical socioeconomic influencing factors through structural decomposition analysis. Results show that the per-fetus IQ decrements from dietary MeHg exposure have declined by 60% nationally during 2004-2019. Such decline results from the joint effects of dietary shifts (contributing 44%) and the decrease of MeHg concentrations in foods consumed (contributing 56%). However, the declining trend has slowed down since 2014 and even leveled off after 2016, which is mainly affected by dietary pattern changes. Especially, the increased intake level and proportion of fishes in underdeveloped provinces of China have dominated the slowdown of declining trend after 2016. Moreover, the affluence and education levels have significantly negative associations with per-fetus IQ decrements. Rich and well-educated people have higher ability of risk perception, which indicates the importance of rational consumption patterns. Our findings can help develop socioeconomic regulatory policies on reducing per-fetus IQ decrements from dietary MeHg exposure in China.

Abstract
In recent years, . the rapid development of the Yangtze River Delta in China has led to increasingly serious regional eco-environmental problems. Therefore, it is of great significance for the construction of ecological civilization to study the ecosystem health in the Yangtze River Delta. In this paper, the assessment framework of "Vigor-Organization-Resilience" was used to assess the ecosystem health index (EHI) of the Yangtze River Delta from 2000 to 2020, and then the spatial autocorrelation method was used to analyze the agglomeration of EHI in 314 counties in this region. Finally, the eXtreme Gradient Boosting (XGBoost) model and the SHapley Additive exPlanation (SHAP) model were combined to explore the synergistic impact of EHI driving factors. The results show that (1) from 2000 to 2020, the EHI in the Yangtze River Delta is at the level of ordinary health, and gradually decreased; (2) the EHI has significant spatial positive correlation and aggregation; (3) the driving factors in descending order of importance are urbanization level (UL), precipitation (PRE), PM2.5 (PM), normalized difference vegetation index (NDVI), and temperature (TEMP); and (4) the relationship between UL and EHI is logarithmic; PRE and EHI are quartic polynomial; PM, NDVI, TEMP, and EHI are quadratic polynomial. The results of this paper are of great significance to the management and restoration of the ecosystem in this region.

Abstract
The construction of the New Western Land-Sea Corridor is crucial to the economic development of western China and even Southeast Asia. Research analyzes the evolution of urban economic spatial pattern of the New Western Land-Sea Corridor in different years and discusses the coordinated development between economic connection and accessibility and its influencing factors. The research results show that: First, the influence of labor force on the urban centrality of the New Western Land-Sea Corridor is gradually increasing, and the spatial pattern of the urban network has gradually shifted from a unipolar attraction type to a spatial pattern of "one main and multiple subordinates." Second, urban accessibility presents a "core-periphery" spatial pattern, and the coupling coordination degree presents the spatial characteristics of "centro-periphery." The economic correlation strength, spatial accessibility, and the coordinated distribution of the two all have obvious spatial agglomeration characteristics. Third, there are spatial differences in the influencing factors of the coupling coordination degree. Based on this, the research puts forward the development mode of "growth pole," "area," and "axis," attaches importance to the problems of labor force in urban development, and strengthens the level of coupling coordination between regional transportation and economy, to promote the integration of regional transportation, logistics, and economy.

Abstract
As the basic support of regional economic and social development, land transportation is one of the important engines to promote regional development, and its construction and improvement will have an important impact on the regional economic pattern. Based on the road network of Shandong Province, China, in 2020, according to the Medium and Long-term Development Plan of Comprehensive Transportation Network of Shandong Province (2018-2035), this paper uses the GIS network analysis method, weighted average travel time, modified gravity model and other methods to study the land traffic accessibility and economic relation intensity of prefecture-level cities in Shandong Province, China, in 2020 and 2035. The results show that the distribution of land traffic accessibility in Shandong Province, China, shows a certain regional main road pointing characteristic in 2020, and the urban accessibility level gradually decreases along the Beijing-Shanghai high-speed railway and Jinan-Qingdao high-speed railway to the periphery. In 2035, the land traffic accessibility of Shandong Province, China, will be more spatially distributed as "concentric circles". From 2020 to 2035, the urban land traffic accessibility and the balance of economic contact in Shandong Province, China, will be improved significantly. The research results can provide a theoretical reference for optimizing the traffic network pattern and promoting urban economic contact in Shandong Province, China.

Abstract
The environmental effects of national new areas have been an important topic but received little attention in academia. This study conducts a quasi-natural experiment using panel data of China's 282 prefecture-level cities from 2006 to 2019, and evaluates the establishment of national new areas on urban ecological efficiency using the staggered difference-in-difference (DID) method, tests the robustness, and further examines the influential mechanism and urban heterogeneity of the empirical results. The results show that the establishment of national new areas has significantly improved urban eco-efficiency. Moreover, the mechanism analysis of the influences shows that national new areas improve urban eco-efficiency by improving urbanization level and urban transportation infrastructure. In addition, the heterogeneity analysis of cities shows that national new areas of cities in eastern and central regions are both significantly improving urban eco-efficiency, while those in western and northeastern regions are not. Furthermore, the promotion effect in the regions of "one new area in one city" model is better than that in "one new area in two cities" model; national new areas in non-resource-based cities show more positive effects on promoting urban eco-efficiency than those in resource-based cities. The conclusions reliably evaluate the results of the current construction of national new areas and provide feasible suggestions for further implementation of the related policy to balance economic development and environmental protection.

Abstract
Rapid urbanisation in global urban agglomerations has caused serious disturbances to the structure, function, and health state of ecosystems. Investigating the driving mechanisms behind the impact of urbanisation level (UL) on ecosystem health index (EHI) is important for constructing ecological civilisation and developing superior urban agglomerations in China. However, no in-depth studies exist on these mechanisms in various urban agglomerations, which makes formulation and implementation of effective ecosystem management and control policies difficult. In this study, we estimated UL and EHI based on multisource data, and a set of spatial regression models were then used to analyse the driving mechanisms at global and local scales in the Middle Reaches of the Yangtze River urban agglomeration (MRYRUA) in China between 1995 and 2015. Our results demonstrated that EHIs in the MRYRUA were 0.627, 0.613, and 0.610 in 1995, 2005, and 2015, respectively, with 2.71% decreases during the study period. The EHI in the surrounding mountainous regions was considerably higher than that in the plains. There was a significant spatial dependence between the UL and EHI. Low UL and high EHI, high UL and low EHI, and low UL and low EHI were the dominant relationship types in the MRYRUA (25.61%, 11.83%, and 11.27%, respectively). A 10% increase in UL resulted in 1.79%, 2.50%, and 2.99% decrease in EHI for each reference year in the spatial error model with lag dependence model. A U-shaped relationship was identified between UL and EHI in different urban agglomerations and cities of different administrative levels. Therefore, the results of this study can provide a scientific basis for the formulation of macro-control policies and locally specific control policies for ecosystem protection in the MRYRUA.

Abstract
Unbalanced regional development is often accompanied by a heterogeneity in regional transportation. The relationship between the interrelation of regional transportation and economic connections among cities remains unclear. This study attempts to explicate the structural characteristics of the spatial interrelation network of road transportation in Guangdong province. This study analyzes road traffic data in Guangdong province from 2015 to 2020 using a gravity model, social network analysis, and the quadratic assignment procedure (QAP). The results indicate that the spatial network of road transportation interrelations in Guangdong province have obvious core–periphery features. The intercity transportation interrelation in Guangdong province is significantly correlated with the differences in population density, vehicle population, and tourism resources, as well as the distance between cities; however, the effects of these factors vary across different regions. To promote balanced regional development, Guangdong province should strengthen the transportation interrelation between peripheral cities and other cities to raise the position of peripheral cities in the network. Introducing the required personnel and developing tourism resources with regional features would help develop peripheral cities that have a low population density and abundant tourism resources. This provincial transportation development strategy should consider balancing the development of mega metropolitan areas and non-coastal, small- and medium-sized cities to balance regional development.

Abstract
With the progress of urbanization and urban-rural integration (URI), the interaction between URI and urban-rural transport network is becoming stronger, thus it is necessary to investigate the interactive relationship between URI and transport network. By assuming certain functions and principles, evolution model was proposed to explain the relationship between URI space development scale and urban-rural transport network scale, and then by considering the interaction between URI and transport network, dynamic evolution model was presented. Stability analysis was performed to verify the interaction relations with three patterns and elasticity simulation provided the optimal value of urban-rural transport network scale configuration. The results may provide potential insights on URI development and transport network.

Abstract
The Chinese government regards the night-time economy as one of the essential means to expand domestic demand and enhance sustainable economic development. Scientifically choosing the night-time economic development path of the suburban counties of the Chinese metropolis (SCCM) and proposing a reasonable spatial matching planning strategy is an urgent problem for Chinese local governments. This study takes Anning county, a suburban Kunming metropolitan area, as the research area. Using Python to capture multi-spatial data, such as POI and Baidu heatmap, we use ArcGIS spatial analysis and statistical tools to show the spatial distribution characteristics of the night-time economic formats in Anning County. At the same time, the spatial coupling coordination model is used to calculate the coupling coordination degree of the night-time economic formats distribution and comprehensive traffic distribution (D1), night-time economic formats distribution and night-crowd vitality (D2), and the spatial coupling coordination of the three (D3). It is divided into five spatial matching levels and analyzes the shortage of night-time economic development in each subdistrict. The research results show that the spatial development of the night-time economy in Anning county is unbalanced at the current stage. The northern part of the county has a good development trend, and the Lianran subdistrict has the highest coupling coordination degree (0.995). In contrast, the southern part of the county has the lowest coupling coordination degree due to a lack of economic formats and traffic restrictions (0.115). According to the subdistricts’ differences, the sustainable development strategy of the county’s night-time economy should be formulated from the perspective of the long-term development of metropolitan areas. We hope that this research can provide valuable inspiration and a development reference for relevant countries and regions to stimulate the sustainable power of the night-time economy.

Abstract
To optimize the accessibility algorithm and quantify the potential relationship between human development index and traffic comprehensive accessibility system, this paper analyzed the spatial distribution pattern of urban accessibility and human development index of highway, railway, and aviation transportation systems using data on highway, railway, and aviation schedules based on GIS spatial analysis method. Furthermore, the coupling degree between human development index and accessibility and its influence mechanism on the city level in China were explored based on the super-efficiency data envelopment analysis model. Results showed as follows: (1) Spatial distribution of human development index from high to low was gradually changing from east to west. The spatial distribution of urban accessibility of the three traffic systems had an evident "Hu Huanyong Line" effect. (2) The coordination degree of urban accessibility and human development index spread in a ladder mode. High coordination of cities in North and East China and the central Yangtze River region forms the spatial distribution of urban development circles connecting an urban development belt. (3) Railway connectivity and control value were highly sensitive to human development index in cities where serious imbalance between accessibility and human development index. Highway connectivity and control value were highly sensitive to human development index in cities where high coordination between accessibility and human development index. The results would provide scientific references for spatial planning of transportation, economic, and social development of cities and coordinated development of urban agglomeration in China.
