Abstract
OBJECTIVE Continuity is considered essential for high-quality maternal and child health care services, but studies to show this effect on parental well-being are still rare. We studied whether receiving support from the same public health nurse has a beneficial effect on parental perceptions of health care professionals and the use of childcare support services. METHODS Maternal and child health care services were provided by different nurses in a Japanese municipality until March 2019. From April 2019, all families with infants received continuous support from the same assigned nurse. A questionnaire covering parental perception and the use of services was sent by postal mail to 1,341 families with infants. The data were analyzed using χ2-test, t-test and logistic regression producing odds ratios (OR) with 95% confidence intervals (CI). RESULTS Parental perceptions of the availability of professionals to discuss children's issues, the degree of understanding about available other childcare support services, the degree of utilizing other services, and satisfaction with health care services were higher in parents who received continuous support from the same assigned nurse compared to those who did not receive continuous support. Continuous support was associated with parental perceptions of the availability of professionals to discuss children's issues (OR = 1.97, 95% CI 1.34-2.91) and the degree of understanding about available other child-care support services (OR = 1.65, 95% CI 1.11-2.44) after adjusting the results for socioeconomic factors. CONCLUSIONS Continuous support from the same assigned nurse has benefits for parents. This offers a cost-effective way to improve parental well-being.

Abstract
OBJECTIVES While the association between pregestational obesity and perinatal complications has been established, it is necessary to update the current understanding of its impact on maternal and foetal health due to its growing prevalence. Thus, this study aimed to investigate the association between pregestational obesity with the leading perinatal complications during the last 6 years. STUDY DESIGN A cross-sectional study was performed in San Felipe, Chile. Anonymised data of 11,197 deliveries that occurred between 2015 and 2021 were included. METHODS Pregestational body mass index was defined according to the World Health Organisation during the first trimester of pregnancy. The association between pregestational obesity and perinatal complications was analysed by calculating the odds ratio (OR), which was adjusted for confounding variables. Statistical differences were considered with a P-value of <0.05. RESULTS The prevalence of pregestational obesity was 30.1%. Pregestational obesity was related to a high incidence of perinatal complications (≥3 complications; P < 0.0001). The main perinatal complications were caesarean section, large for gestational age (LGA), gestational diabetes (GD), macrosomia, hypertensive disorders of pregnancy (HDP), premature rupture of membranes (PROM), intrauterine growth restriction, and failed induction. Pregestational obesity was shown to be a risk factor for macrosomia (OR: 2.3 [95% confidence interval {95% CI}: 2.0-2.8]), GD (OR: 1.9 [95% CI: 1.6-2.1]), HDP (OR: 1.8 [95% CI: 1.5-2.1]), LGA (OR: 1.6 [95% CI: 1.5-1.8]), failed induction (OR: 1.4 [95% CI: 1.0-1.8]), PROM (OR: 1.3 [95% CI: 1.1-1.6]), and caesarean section (OR: 1.3 [95% CI: 1.2-1.4]). CONCLUSIONS Pregestational obesity has been shown to be a critical risk factor for the main perinatal complications in the study population. Pregestational advice is imperative not only in preventing pregestational obesity but also in the mitigation of critical perinatal complications once they arise.

Abstract
Our paper focuses on the issues of social health and psychological safety of university students involved in digital sustainable education during the COVID-19 pandemic. Currently, modern education is becoming inclusive due to the advancements in information and communication technologies (ICT), and it is important not only to stress the relevance of sustainable development and the use of digital technologies, but also their impact on students at schools and universities worldwide. Digital literacy is a newly emerging feature that results from the attitude of team members in the field of digital technologies. This paper explores the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on students' learning and well-being and outlines the potential considerations for educational systems as they support students through the recovery period and beyond. Our study is based on the results of our own survey that was administered using a snowball and convenient sample of 1524 respondents (aged 19-26 years; 56.2% females and 43.8% males) from the Czech Republic (N = 804) and Russia (N = 720). We employed the ANOVA and Dirichlet Process mixtures of Generalized Linear Models (DP-GLM) in order to explain the causes of stress and anxiety after grouping variables represented by gender and the study specializations. Our results demonstrate that more than 87% of the students in the sample expressed a medium to high vulnerability to stress, while 58% of the respondents were affected by severe anxiety during their online education engagement. The most important factors that emerged as significant were the fear of getting infected and social distancing, while the best strategy to cope with the stress was self-control. These results allow us to provide practical recommendations for effectively coping with and controlling stress and anxiety among students in the post-pandemic era. In addition, our findings might contribute considerably to the study of the overall long-term effect of the COVID-19 pandemic on the university students, in general, and the use of digital technologies in higher education, as well as on the public health.
