Abstract
Sonic hedgehog (SHH) and heat shock protein 90β (HSP90β) have been implicated in nonalcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH) but their molecular mechanisms of action remain elusive. We find that HSP90β is a key SHH downstream molecule for promoting NASH process. In hepatocytes, SHH reduces HSP90β ubiquitylation through deubiquitylase USP31, thus preventing HSP90β degradation and promoting hepatic lipid synthesis. HSP90β significantly increases in NASH mouse model, leading to secretion of exosomes enriched with miR-28-5p. miR-28-5p directly targetes and decreases Rap1b levels, which in turn promotes NF-κB transcriptional activity in macrophages and stimulates the expression of inflammatory factors. Genetic deletion, pharmacological inhibition of the SHH-HSP90β axis, or delivery of miR-28-5p to macrophages in the male mice liver, impairs NASH symptomatic development. Importantly, there is a markedly higher abundance of miR-28-5p in NASH patient sera. Taken together, the SHH-HSP90β-miR-28-5p axis offers promising therapeutic targets against NASH, and serum miR-28-5p may serve as a NASH diagnostic biomarker.

Abstract
MINCR (MYC-Induced Long Non-Coding RNA) is classified as an lncRNA. It has a significant correlation with MYC gene. MINCR has important roles in the carcinogenesis. It has been approved that this lncRNA can act as molecular sponge for miR-28-5p, miR-708-5p, miR-876-5p and miR-146a-5p. Dysregulated levels of MINCR has been observed in different types of cancer, especially hepatocellular carcinoma. In addition to malignant conditions, schizophrenia and neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer's disease and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis are associated with dysregulation of expression patterns of MINCR. This review outlines MINCR molecular mechanisms of action in different disorders.

Abstract
Long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) play vital roles in regulating epigenetic mechanisms and gene expression levels, and their dysregulation is closely associated with a variety of diseases such as cancer. Several studies have demonstrated that lncRNAs are dysregulated during tumor progression. Recently, the MYC-induced long non-coding RNA MINCR, a newly identified lncRNA, has been demonstrated to act as an oncogene in different cancers, including gallbladder cancer, hepatocellular cancer, colorectal cancer, non-small cell lung cancer, oral squamous cell carcinoma, nasopharyngeal cancer, and glioma. Moreover, MINCR has been reported to act as a biomarker in the prognosis of patients with different cancers. In this review, we summarize and analyze the oncogenic roles of MINCR in a variety of human cancers in terms of its clinical significance, biological functions, cellular activities, and regulatory mechanism. Our analysis of the literature suggests that MINCR has potential as a novel biomarker and therapeutic target in human cancers.

Abstract
Cervical cancer (CC) continues to be a major public health problem in Mexico, ranking second among cancers in women. A persistent infection with human papillomaviruses (HPV) is the main risk factor for CC development. In addition, a significant fraction of other cancers including those of the anus, oropharynx, and penis are also related to HPV infection. In CC, HPV-16 is the most prevalent high-risk HPV type, followed by HPV-18, both being responsible for 70% of cases. HPV intratype variant lineages differ in nucleotide sequences by 1–10%, while sublineages differ by 0.5–1%. Several studies have postulated that the nucleotide changes that occur between HPV intratype variants are reflected in functional differences and in pathogenicity. Moreover, it has been demonstrated that HPV-16 and -18 intratype variants differentially affect molecular processes in infected cells, changing their biological behavior that finally impacts in the clinical outcome of patients. Mexico has participated in providing knowledge on the geographical distribution of intratype variants of the most prevalent HPVs in premalignant lesions of the cervix and cervical cancer, as well as in other HPV-related tumors. In addition, functional studies have been carried out to assess the cellular effects of intratype variations in HPV proteins. This review addresses the state of the art on the epidemiology of HPV-16 and HPV-18 intratype variants in the Mexican population, as well as their association with persistence, precancer and cervical cancer, and functional aspects related to their biological behavior.
