Abstract
BACKGROUND Ocular sebaceous carcinoma (OSC) is a malignant and potentially lethal sebaceous gland tumor. Clinically, it masquerades as other benign and less malignant lesions, resulting in a delay in diagnosis. METHODS In the present study, we sought to evaluate the cytomorphology of this aggressive neoplasm diagnosed by fine-needle aspiration cytology (FNAC) last year at our institute. RESULTS/FINDINGS We report three cases of OSC diagnosed on aspiration cytology showed a cellular smear composed of sheets, 3D clusters, papillaroid, and singly scattered polygonal tumor cells having centrally located hyperchromatic pleomorphic nuclei and multiple microvacuolations in the cytoplasm. Necrosis and crushing artifact were also identified. Special stains such as Oil Red O stain on air-dried smears showed positivity, confirming the presence of lipid globules. Subsequently, the Cytological impression of sebaceous carcinoma was confirmed on histopathology. CONCLUSIONS The article highlights the role of FNAC in the early and correct diagnosis of aggressive tumors and subsequent appropriate management to prevent recurrence and metastasis.

Abstract
Sebaceous carcinoma of the ocular adnexa is a malignant neoplasm which has aggressive local behavior and can metastasize to regional lymph nodes and distant organs. It is a malignant neoplasm known to masquerade as other benign and less malignant lesions, resulting in delay in diagnosis and relatively high morbidity and mortality. Aspiration cytological features of this neoplasm have not been well characterized in the literature. We report a case of this tumor diagnosed on fine needle aspiration. Clinically, a diagnosis of chalazion was made and fine needle aspiration cytology (FNAC) was performed. Cytological diagnosis of a malignant tumor with closest resemblance to sebaceous carcinoma was suggested which was confirmed on histopathology. Eyelid reconstruction was done after histopathological confirmation of tumor-free margins. The article highlights the role of FNAC in early diagnosis and subsequent appropriate surgical management of eyelid sebaceous gland carcinoma to prevent recurrence and metastasis.

Abstract
Extra ocular Sebaceous Carcinoma is a rare malignancy when compared to Peri ocular variant and these are derived from sebaceous gland epithelium. The aggressive types of extra ocular sebaceous neoplasm are reported with lymph node and visceral metastasis associated with poor prognosis. Here we report a case of extensive cutaneous extra ocular sebaceous cell carcinoma confined to large area of scalp proven by Immunohistochemistry without intra cranial involvement, distant metastases or evidence of Muir-Torre syndrome.

Abstract
The low incidence and the non-specific clinical symptoms led us to conclude that the diagnosis of a sebaceous carcinoma of the eyelid often occurs very late. Sebaceous carcinoma of the ocular adnexa is a malignant neoplasm which can exhibit aggressive local behavior, can have pagetoid spread and can metastasize to regional lymph nodes and distant organs. The neoplasm is known to masquerade as other benign and less malignant lesions, and has relatively high morbidity and mortality. Scrape cytology was done in a 70-year-old female with a tumor in left upper lid. Cytological smears were suggestive of sebaceous carcinoma. Subsequently, histopathology confirmed the diagnosis of sebaceous gland carcinoma. The article highlights the role of scrape cytology in early diagnosis and subsequent appropriate surgical management of eyelid sebaceous gland carcinoma, to prevent recurrence and metastasis.

Abstract
Sebaceous carcinoma (SC) is a rare tumor with a high rate of local recurrence and metastasis to lymph nodes and organs. The majority of SCs occur in the periocular region frequently presenting as painless, round subcutaneous nodules with a high tendency of diffuse and invasive growth in the eyelid and conjunctiva. It frequently masquerades as inflammatory conditions or as other tumors leading to delay in diagnosis, inappropriate treatment and increased morbidity and mortality. Sebaceous carcinoma is associated with Muir-Torre syndrome, a genetic condition presenting with sebaceous skin tumors associated with internal malignancy. Therefore, SC patients must be carefully evaluated and referred to an internist or gastroenterologist when indicated. Surgery is the definitive therapy for SC. In recent years, less radical surgical strategies are being used with improved outcomes. Current studies demonstrate that Mohs micrographic surgery (MMS) provides maximal tissue conservation and lower recurrence rates. Greater awareness and understanding of SC and its behavior has led to earlier diagnosis and appropriate treatment.
