Abstract
Primary lymphoma of liver is a rare malignancy with non-specific clinical features and tumor markers. The presentation and imaging features may be indistinguishable from other hepatic malignant lesions. Pathological diagnosis is the gold standard, and early detection is essential to choose the treatment modality. Here, we share an interesting case of Primary Diffuse Large B cell lymphoma of liver and its imaging findings on Computed tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) and F-18 FDG PET/CT.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Primary hepatic lymphoma (PHL) is a lymphoproliferative disorder confined to the liver without peripheral lymph node involvement and bone marrow invasion. PHL is extremely rare in clinical practice. The etiology and pathogenesis of PHL are largely unknown. There are no common standard protocols or guidelines for the treatment of PHL. CASE SUMMARY We report the case of a 66-year-old man who presented with fever and abdominal pain for three weeks. Computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging scans showed a pyogenic liver abscess. The patient underwent a right posterior hepatectomy. The surgical pathology revealed aggressive B-cell lymphoma, with a primary consideration of diffuse large B-cell lymphoma of non-germinal center origin. CONCLUSION This article reviews the characteristics, mechanism and treatment of PHL and provides insight into the diagnosis of PHL.

Abstract
RATIONALE Primary hepatic lymphoma is a rare extranodal non-Hodgkin lymphoma that is primarily localized in the liver. It predominantly affects elderly males and presents with nonspecific laboratory findings, imaging results, and clinical symptoms, making diagnosis challenging. Histopathological examination serves as the gold standard for diagnosis, and treatment options include chemotherapy or surgical intervention combined with chemotherapy. PATIENT CONCERNS A 50-year-old male patient came to our hospital for treatment after finding a mass in his liver. DIAGNOSES Laboratory tests and clinical symptoms lack specificity for primary hepatic lymphoma, and imaging findings can be difficult to differentiate. Pathology is the gold standard. OUTCOMES The patient was dead. CONCLUSION A definitive diagnosis primarily relies on histopathological examination, and surgical resection combined with chemotherapy yields better treatment outcomes.

Abstract
Primary hepatic lymphoma is a rare disease, and primary hepatic mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue (MALT) lymphoma accounts for only 0.3% of all primary hepatic lymphomas. Herein, we report a case of primary hepatic MALT lymphoma in a male patient in his mid-40 s with chronic hepatitis B infection. The patient visited our department for further examination of a hepatic nodule initially visualized through abdominal pelvic computed tomography (CT). Based on imaging studies and elevated levels of tumor markers, the tumor was suspected to be hepatocellular carcinoma. A laparoscopic inferior sectionectomy (segment 5 and 6) was performed, and immunohistochemical staining revealed that the tumor was positive for CD20, B-cell lymphoma 2, pan-cytokeratin (CK), and CK19 markers. Pathological findings revealed it to be a primary hepatic MALT lymphoma. After surgery, bone marrow biopsies and fluorodeoxyglucose-positron emission tomography integrated with CT scanning confirmed that there was no other involvement. The patient did not receive chemotherapy, and there was no recurrence during the 24-month follow-up period. Hepatocellular carcinoma is the most common malignancy in patients with chronic hepatitis B, but rare tumors such as primary MALT lymphoma can also occur, so a careful approach is required for their differentiation.

Abstract
Primary hepatopancreatobiliary lymphoma (PHPBL) is extremely rare, which is defined as a lympho-proliferative disease confined to the hepatobiliary system and pancreas without any involvement of lymph nodes, bone marrow, or other organs. The clinical and imaging manifestations of PHPBL are variable and non-special, which are akin to those of tumors of the hepatobiliary and pancreatic systems. The overall prognosis and management of PHPBL differ from those of other tumors in the hepatobiliary system and pancreas. Proper diagnosis and prompt treatment are essential for improving clinical outcomes. Due to its rarity, the optimal treatment has not been issued. However, combination chemotherapy is considered as a standard treatment for them. This review provides an overview of the pathogenesis, diagnosis, pathology, and management of PHPBL and offers clinicians the diagnosis and management schedule for PHPBL.

Abstract
We report a rare case of primary hepatic lymphoma (PHL) in a hepatitis B virus- (HBV-) infected young female patient who presented with right upper abdominal pain, nausea, and vomiting for a few days. The preoperative diagnosis was difficult due to the rarity of the disease and the presence of a solitary hypodense mass in the left lobe of the liver on contrast-enhanced computed tomography (CT) scan with a normal alpha-fetoprotein (AFP) and negative cytology. She underwent an uneventful extended left hemihepatectomy, and the surgical biopsy revealed a PHL-of diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) type-with negative resection margins. She received adjuvant combination chemotherapy and remained disease-free with normal serial radiology over a 2-year follow-up period.
