Abstract
Introduction The outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic has disrupted the provision of healthcare services, forcing health systems, governments, and other public health stakeholders to embark on alternative means to deliver care. Method This scenario has fueled the adoption of digital health technologies in the healthcare industry to enhance the management of the COVID-19 pandemic. This study aimed to investigate the effect of using health information technologies (HITs) in managing the COVID-19 pandemic in Saudi Arabia from the health information technology professionals' perspectives. In addition, the study aimed to evaluate the usefulness of using HITs interventions to manage COVID-19, assess HITs information exchange capability and quality, and measure practitioners' satisfaction with HITs. Results The present study used a primary analysis and cross-sectional design. Data were collected using survey questionnaires and analyzed. A total of 371 participants (n = 371) responded to the questionnaire that was administered online, in March 2022. The study found that HITs significantly influenced the management of the COVID-19 pandemic in various areas, including consulting, screening, and monitoring. However, technical issues, among other challenges, hindered the realization of the desired outcomes. Discussion In addition, the study found HITs helpful in managing COVID-19, adding that these technologies improved providers' satisfaction concerning access to and value of information. The study found the need to address the challenges associated with HITs that prevent the effective deployment of HITs to manage COVID-19 and future pandemics.

Abstract
Supporting refugee and migrant health has become a critical focus of healthcare policy. Developing and designing health literacy interventions that meet the needs of refugees and migrants is core to achieving this objective. This literature review sought to identify antecedents and consequences of health literacy among refugees and migrants during the first two years of the COVID-19 pandemic. We systematically searched nine electronic databases and numerous grey literature sources to identify studies published between December 2019 and March 2022. The antecedents (societal and environmental determinants, situational determinants, and personal determinants) and consequences of health literacy among refugees and migrants were mapped to a validated integrated health literacy model. Social and environmental determinants (n = 35) were the most reported antecedent influencing health literacy among refugees and migrants during the first two years of COVID-19. Language (n = 26) and culture (n = 16) were these determinants' most frequently reported aspects. Situational determinants (n = 24) and personal determinants (n = 26) were less frequently identified factors influencing health literacy among refugees and migrants. Literacy (n = 11) and socioeconomic status (n = 8) were the most frequently reported aspects of personal determinants. Media use (n = 9) and family and peer influence (n = 7) were the most cited situational determinants reported. Refugees and migrants with higher levels of health literacy were more likely to use healthcare services, resulting in better health outcomes. The findings of this review reveal personal and situational factors that impacted health literacy among refugees and migrants during COVID-19 that require attention. However, the inadequate adaptation of health literacy interventions for linguistic and cultural diversity was a greater problem. Attention to this well-known aspect of public health preparedness and tailoring health literacy interventions to the needs of refugees and migrants during pandemics and other public health emergencies are paramount.

Abstract
COVID-19 mitigation strategies, including shelter-in-place orders, masking, and social distancing combined with the widespread "infodemic" may interact synergistically to worsen already compromised mental health outcomes of people living with HIV (PLWH). We developed a three-part microgame intervention, "Latino Unidos," targeting media health literacy education that could be mobilized to protect the mental health of Latinx PLWH as well as promote HIV care during the pandemic. We utilized a community-based approach by working with two local community partners and conducted interviews and focus groups from three perspectives: Latino PLWH, ID providers, and community health workers. Participants evaluated three microgame modules for literacy objectives, acceptability, and feasibility. Feedback offered from each round of module review indicated that each of the game experiences supported the aim of addressing health mis/disinformation. Results indicated relative success demonstrated by positive responses on module literacy goals, acceptability, and feasibility. Our approach illuminates the intersection between content development around media literacy and microgame modality as a novel mHealth resource. Study outcomes offer suggestions and strategies for optimizing content effectiveness and intervention material dissemination.

Abstract
Introduction: Telemedicine, which is the provision of remote clinical services via telecommunication technology, has undergone an upsurge since the COVID-19 pandemic. To capture this paradigm, this study surveyed telemedicine literature, including postpandemic publications, to identify dominant research themes and temporal trends and suggest directions for future research. Methods: A corpus of 56,445 telemedicine studies is sourced from PubMed. Latent Dirichlet allocation (LDA) topic modeling performed using the Konstanz Information Miner platform. The textual data for topic modeling were processed by following standard procedures for natural language processing. Moreover, the term frequency-inverse document frequency approach was used to capture the importance of words within the corpus. We assessed perplexity, coherence, and the elbow method to determine the optimal number of topics for modeling. Results: The findings confirm the surge in telemedicine research after 2020, signifying its prominence. LDA topic modeling reveals seven distinct research themes, with the most prominent topic being "patient satisfaction" (21.38%) followed by "perspectives and challenges" (17.95%), and "smartphone apps" (14.32%). Furthermore, the results demonstrate a noticeable shift in topics from screening to therapeutic applications of telemedicine. Conclusions: This study serves as a guide for a broad range of telemedicine research topics. This synthesis of themes reflects the commitment of scholars to address the changing dynamics and health care needs, such as the COVID-19 pandemic, aging in place, smartphone usage, and technological advancement. The analysis also reveals flexible research responses to policy and contextual shifts, highlighting the collective drive to broaden the application of telemedicine in community health care.

Abstract
The impact of the pandemic on hypertension management is unknown, particularly regarding changes in demographic risk factors. We conducted a comprehensive study between 1998 and 2021 on the long-term trends in hypertension prevalence in South Korea, including a comparison of the pre-pandemic and pandemic eras. Data from 1998 to 2021 of 108,687 Korean adults were obtained through a nationwide, large-scale, and serial study. We conducted a weighted complex sampling analysis on the estimates of national prevalence and compared the slope of hypertension prevalence before and during the pandemic to determine the trend dynamics. We included 108,687 participants over 24 years, 1998-2021. While the prevalence of patients with hypertension consistently increased before the pandemic from 25.51% [95% CI: 24.27-26.75] in 1998-2005 to 27.81% [95% CI: 26.97-28.66] in 2016-2019, the increasing slope in hypertension prevalence slowed during the pandemic period (28.07% [95% CI: 26.16-29.98] for 2021; βdiff, -0.012 [-0.023 to 0.000]). Hypertension awareness, treatment, control, and control rates among patients receiving treatment followed similar trends. Compared to the pre-pandemic era, individuals aged 19-59 years or male had significantly increased control rates among the treated patients during the pandemic. This study investigated long-term trends in hypertension prevalence, awareness, treatment, and control among Korean adults. The absence of a reduction in the health indicators associated with hypertension during the pandemic implies that medical services for individuals with hypertension remain unaffected.
