Abstract
(1) Background: As times change, the detection rate of hypertension is increasing in the young and middle-aged population due to prevalent sedentary behaviors. The purpose of this study was to conduct a scoping review to identify and summarize the research on sedentary behavior in this population by separating it into five stages: the relationship between sedentary behavior and health; measurement modalities; influencing factors; interventions; and translational research in young and middle-aged adults with hypertension. (2) Methods: Using a scoping review research approach, the PubMed, Web of Science Core Collection, and MEDLINE databases were used to search for the literature on this subject from the date of the database's creation to 14 June 2022, and the behavioral epidemiology framework was used to classify the retrieved articles. (3) Results: A total of eight articles were included. Among them, there were six articles on the relationship between behavior and health, which includes blood pressure, insulin resistance, and the cardiovascular system; one article on the study of measurement methods, which was used for clinical decision making through decision trees; one article on influencing factors, which was divided into intrinsic and extrinsic factors; and no articles on intervention program development or the translation of intervention programs to further practice in this population. (4) Conclusions: Sedentary behavioral studies of young and middle-aged adults with hypertension are scarce and are generally carried out in the early stages of the condition. In the future, in-depth studies can be conducted on the dose-response relationship between sedentary behavior and health in this population; the development of easier and targeted measurement tools; the exploration of more influencing factors; and the effectiveness and translation of intervention programs.

Abstract
INTRODUCTION Hypertension is a major threat to public health globally. Especially in sub-Saharan African countries, this coexists with high burden of other infectious diseases, creating a complex public health situation which is difficult to address. Tackling this will require targeted public health intervention based on evidence that well defines the at risk population. In this study, using retrospective data from two referral hospitals in Burundi, we model the risk factors of hypertension in Burundi. MATERIALS AND METHODS Retrospective data of a sample of 353 randomly selected from a population of 4,380 patients admitted in 2019 in two referral hospitals in Burundi: Military and University teaching hospital of Kamenge. The predictive risk factors were carried out by fixed effect logistic regression. Model performance was assessed with Area under Curve (AUC) method. Model was internally validated using bootstrapping method with 2000 replications. Both data processing and data analysis were done using R software. RESULTS Overall, 16.7% of the patients were found to be hypertensive. This study didn't showed any significant difference of hypertension's prevalences among women (16%) and men (17.7%). After adjustment of the model for cofounding covariates, associated risk factors found were advanced age (40-59 years) and above 60 years, high education level, chronic kidney failure, high body mass index, familial history of hypertension. In absence of these highlighted risk factors, the risk of hypertension occurrence was about 2 per 1000 persons. This probability is more than 90% in patients with more than three risk factors. CONCLUSION The relatively high prevalence and associated risk factors of hypertension in Burundi raises a call for concern especially in this context where there exist an equally high burden of infectious diseases, other chronic diseases including chronic malnutrition. Targeting interventions based on these identified risk factors will allow judicious channel of resources and effective public health planning.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE The aim of this study was to highlight the differences between the cardiometabolic effects and the cardiovascular risk of physical inactivity and sedentary behavior. METHODS A narrative bibliographic review was conducted. In the research, national and international articles were selected from the PubMed, SciELO, and LILACS databases using the descriptors "sedentary lifestyle, cardiovascular risk, physical inactivity, sedentary behavior, and cardiovascular risks." DISCUSSION Both physical inactivity and sedentary behavior are related to metabolic and organic changes, promoting a chronic proinflammatory state, cardiac remodeling, increased body adiposity, and skeletal muscle dysfunction. It is possibly stated that both of them result in a higher risk of developing chronic diseases, resulting in higher global and cardiovascular morbidity and mortality, with nuances in their intrinsic effects. CONCLUSIONS It is inferred that both physical inactivity and sedentary behavior are cardiovascular risk factors that can be modified with the correct clinical approach. It is necessary to differentiate physically inactive individuals from those with a high number of sedentary behaviors. These concepts need better clinical applicability to improve the prevention of primary and secondary cardiovascular risks.

Abstract
Hypertension causes a substantial burden to society. Some studies found that hypertension was associated with the working type and working hours. The purpose of the current study is to assess the dose-response relationship between working hours and hypertension.Data of 12,080 adults aged 18 to 65 years who attended the China Health and Nutrition Survey (CHNS) between 1989 and 2011 were analyzed. Hypertension was determined based on systolic and/or diastolic blood pressure measures, or having doctor-diagnosed hypertension. Multivariable Cox regression and restricted cubic spline to assess the dose-response relationship between working hours and hypertension.A total of 12,080 participants including 5852 females and 6228 males. By the last follow-up (2011), a total of 830 participants were hypertensive, with an incidence of 6.9%. After adjusting socio-demographic, lifestyle factors, as well as occupation type, compared with those who worked 35 to 49 hours per week, participants who worked no more than 34 hours per week (HR: 1.21, 95%CI: 1.03-1.41) and at least 56 hours per week (HR: 1.38, 95%CI: 1.19-1.59) had a higher risk of hypertension. The significant association between long working hours (at least 56 hours per week) and hypertension was observed among females (HR: 1.38, 95%CI: 1.16-1.64) and males (HR: 1.36, 95%CI: 1.04-1.78). Among manual workers, the relationship between long working hours and hypertension was observed (HR: 1.49, 95%CI: 1.10-2.02). The relationship between long working hours (HR: 1.21, 95%CI: 1.01-1.44) and short working hours (HR: 1.37, 95%CI: 1.16-1.61) and hypertension was observed among nonmanual workers. The hazard ratio of hypertension and working time displayed U-shape non-linear relationship (Ptrend < .001, non-linear P < .001). The non-linear response-dose relationship was found in manual worker, nonmanual worker, and male (Ptrend < .001, non-linear P < .001).The association between working time and hypertension showed U-shape relationship. Specifically, overtime work was an important occupational risk factors for adults, and short work time was related to hazard ratio of hypertension in nonmanual workers.
