The complete plastid genome of Vincetoxicum junzifengense B.J. Ye and S.P. Chen (Apocynaceae)

Vincetoxicum junzifengense B.J. Ye and S.P. Chen 2022 is a newly described species which belongs to the genus Vincetoxicum in the family Apocynaceae. The complete plastid genome of Vincetoxicum junzifengense B.J. Ye and S.P. Chen 2022 was determined and analyzed in this study. The total chloroplast genome was 159,666 bp in length, consisting of a large single-copy region of 90,565 bp, a small single-copy region of 19,691 bp, and two inverted repeat regions of 24,705 bp. The genome contained 131 genes, including 85 protein-coding genes, 37 transfer RNA genes, and eight ribosomal RNA genes. Phylogenetic analysis indicated that V. junzifengense is sister to V. versicolor.

The complete chloroplast genome of Cryptomeria japonica var. sinensis (Cupressaceae)

The complete chloroplast genome of Cryptomeria japonica var. sinensis Miquel was assembled and analyzed. The chloroplast genome of C. japonica var. sinensis Miquel did not have a typical quadripartite structure with the inverted repeats (IR) absent, and the size of C. japonica var. sinensis is 131,412 bp. The overall GC content was 35.4%. The genome encoded a set of 119 genes, containing 83 protein-coding genes, 32 tRNA genes, and 4 rRNA genes. Phylogenomic analysis indicated that C. japonica var. sinensis is sister to C. japonica (Thunb. ex L. f.) D. Don.

The complete plastid genome of Thrixspermum tsii (Orchidaceae, Aeridinae)

The complete plastid genome of Thrixspermum tsii was determined and analyzed in this work. The plastome was 149,689 bp in length with 86,778 bp of the large single-copy (LSC) region, 12,129 bp of the small single-copy (SSC) region and 25,391 bp of the inverted repeat (IR) regions. The genome contained 120 genes, 74 protein-coding genes, 38 tRNA genes, and 8 rRNA genes. Phylogenetic analysis of 17 Aeridinae plastomes suggested four groups were divided, and T. tsii was sister to T. japonicum.
