Abstract
Objective: To investigate hepatic perivascular epithelioid cell tumor (PEComa) diagnosis and treatment plan. Methods: 24 cases diagnosed with PEComa clinical manifestations, serum alpha fetoprotein (AFP), carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA), carbohydrate antigen 199 (CA199), imaging findings, surgical methods, postoperative hospital stay, pathological results and prognosis were analyzed retrospectively from September 2015 to September 2020. Results: Majority of patients were females (79.2%), aged 41.5±11.4 years. Tumors were predominantly located in the right liver (50.0%). 76.7% of the cases were mostly clinically asymptomatic. AFP, CEA and CA199 indices were all negative. CT mostly showed low density tumor in the plain scan phase, enhanced in the enhancement phase, and enhanced and weakened in portal venous and equilibrium phase (66.7%). MRI manifestations of most tumors were hypointense on T1WI and hyperintense on T2WI (72.7%). B-ultrasound mostly showed hyperechoic mass in the tumor area with punctate vascular shadow (52.9%). Postoperative hospital stay was 9.0±2.4 days for laparoscopic surgery patients (n=13), 13.4±6.3 days for traditional laparotomy (hereinafter referred to as laparotomy, n=10), and 3 days for 1 patient with microwave ablation. All postoperative pathological results were positive for HMB45 and Melan-A. Follow-up results: 21 cases survived normally, with no tumor recurrence in the recent physical examination; two cases had tumor recurrence and they died two and three years after surgery, and one case was lost to follow-up. Conclusion: Hepatic PEComa more commonly occurs in middle-aged women, with no specific features for tumor markers and clinical manifestations. Some imaging findings are specific, so its features can be combined as a basis for diagnosis. Postoperative pathological examination results can confirm the diagnosis. Therefore, surgery remains the initial treatment plan. Microwave ablation and laparoscopic surgery are recommended as the preferred option because of shorter hospital stays and less trauma than open surgery.

Abstract
Objective: To evaluate the efficacy and safety of laparoscopic surgery for perivascular epithelioid cell tumor (PEComa). Methods: The clinical data of 42 patients with hepatic PEComa diagnosed by pathology in Hunan Provincial People's Hospital from September 2012 to September 2021 were retrospectively analyzed. The patients were divided into the endoscopic group and the open group according to surgical methods. Statistical software was used to compare the differences in operation time, intraoperative blood loss, postoperative hospital stay, postoperative pathological data and incidence of complications between the two groups. Results: There were 27 cases in the endoscopic group and 15 cases in the open group. In the endoscopic group, there were 5 males and 22 females, aged (40.0±10.4) years. In the open group, there were 5 males and 10 females, aged (44.5±12.6) years. The operative time of the endoscopic group and the open group was (239±156.2) min and (348±103.0) min, and the postoperative hospital stay was (8.2±2.4) d and (13.7±4.9) d, respectively, the endoscopic group was significantly better than the open group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). There was no significant difference in intraoperative blood loss, tumor benign and malignant, tumor site, tumor diameter, Ki67 index, postoperative complications such as biliary leakage, incision infection and pleural effusion (P>0.05). During the follow-up period of 2-103 months, one case was lost to follow-up, two cases died in the endoscopic group, one case died in the open group. The 5-year overall survival rate (OS) and disease-free survival rate (DFS) were 80.8% and 83.0%, respectively. Meanwhile,. The 5-year OS and DFS were both 92.3%, the difference was not statistically significant (P>0.05). Conclusions: Laparoscopic treatment of hepatic PEComa has the advantages of short operation time and short postoperative hospital stay, and the incidence of complications, 5-year OS and DFS are not significantly different from that of the open group.

Abstract
The clinical manifestations, laboratory and imaging results, diagnosis and treatment and prognosis of 5 patients with mucinous adenocarcinoma of the gallbladder were analyzed. It was found that the clinical characteristics of mucinous adenocarcinoma of the gallbladder were very similar to that of gallbladder malignant tumor, and it was difficult to differentiate. Ultrasound guided gallbladder needle biopsy can confirm the diagnosis before surgery. Surgery is still the first choice of treatment. Since laparoscopic surgery has obvious advantages over open surgery, it is recommended to be preferentially used. If the tumor is under T2 stage and has no aggressive metastasis, the prognosis is generally good.

Abstract
Objective: To study serum HCV antibody (anti-HCV) with geographic distribution characteristics in Zhejiang Province. Methods: A stratified random cluster sampling method was used. Serum samples of the surveyed population were collected from selected hospitals, anti-HCV antibodies were examined, then hepatitis C infection rates among different genders, regions and age groups were analyzed. The anti-HCV rate was compared using the χ (2) test. Results: The average anti-HCV positive rate in Zhejiang Province was 0.24% [95% confidence interval (CI): 0.16% ~ 0.32%]. The antibody positive rate in the plain area was 0.32% (95% CI: 0.19% ~ 0.45%), which was significantly higher than the coastal islands 0.05%(95% CI: 0.00% ~ 0.12%, χ (2) = 7.638, P < 0.05). There was no significant difference between plain area and hilly area 0.22% (95% CI: 0.03% - 0.41%). There was no statistically significant difference in anti-HCV positive rates between males and females (χ (2) = 2.238, P = 0.135). The highest positive rate of anti-HCV (0.93%) was in the population aged 56-60 years and the lowest in the population aged less than 20 years. Anti-HCV positive rate of all age groups in 2017 was lower than that of 2006 seroepidemiological study of hepatitis C. Conclusion: Zhejiang Province is a region with low anti-HCV positive rate and the disease prevalence further reduced than 10 years ago. The positive rate of anti-HCV in plain areas is higher than islands. Middle-aged and elderly people are the age group with high prevalence, and the anti-HCV positive rate in people under 20 years old is exceptionally low. Gender differences in anti-HCV positive rate have little effect.

Abstract
Objective: To observe the therapeutic response of radiosynovectomy with p-32 colloid on hemophilic arthropathy, and to assess the effects of radiosynovectomy with Denver Score on hemophilic arthritis staging. Methods: Radiosynovectomy with p-32 colloid was performed on 326 hemophilic arthritis patients (405 joints) , and recorded bleeding before and after treatment. The MRI performance of 102 joints was evaluated by using Denver scoring system, then was divided into 0-6 and 7-10 groups. Finally, the differences between 2 groups were analyzed. Results: Average pain score of all hemophilic arthritis patients at 6 months, 1, 2 and 3 years post treatment decreased from 3.2±2.4 (n=326) to 1.2±0.6 (n=285, P=0.021) , 1.7±0.5 (n=242, P=0.032) , 2.1±1.1 (n=212, P=0.030) and 2.2±1.6 (n=176, P=0.037) , respectively. The frequency of bleeding in 405 joints at 1, 2 and 3 years post treatment decreased from 15.1±3.6 to 2.1±0.7, 4.3±0.6, and 4.8±0.8 times per year (P<0.01) , respectively; Meanwhile, the proportions of significantly ameliorated joints' activities were observed as of 68.50% (248/362) , 58.39% (181/310) , 55.67% (162/239) and 42.61% (75/176) , respectively. The frequencies of haemarthrosis at 1 and 2 years post treatment in patients with 0-6 Denver Score (45 target joints) reduced from 13.0±1.9 to 1.3±0.6 (P=0.002) and 3.1±0.9 (P=0.009) times per year, respectively, which also decreased in 7-10 group (57 target joints) from 16.6±2.1 to 3.1±0.9 (P=0.008) and 5.7±1.1 (P=0.004) times per year, respectively. There was no statistical difference between 0-6 and 7-10 groups before treatment in the terms of haemarthrosis frequency (P=0.773) . However, 7-10 group had higher haemarthrosis frequency at 1 and 2 years post treatment compare with 0-6 group (P=0.028 and 0.042, respectively) . Synovial volumes in 29 joints reduced after 6 month when compared with baseline [ (2 362.15±32.41) mm(3) vs (3 012.40±39.78) mm(3), t=7.621, P<0.001]. Conclusion: Radiosynovectomy with p-32 colloid on haemophilic synovitis was a safe and effective procedure. The patients with Denver Score of 0-7 had lower frequency of haemarthrosis.

Abstract
The antifungal activity of sodium silicate on Fusarium sulphureum and its inhibitory effect on dry rot of potato tubers were investigated. Sodium silicate strongly inhibited spore germination and mycelial growth. Morphological changes in sodium silicate-treated hyphae such as mycelium sparsity and asymmetry, hyphal swelling, curling, and cupped shape were observed by scanning electron microscopy. Ultrastructural alterations were also observed using transmission electron microscopy, including thickening of the hyphal cell walls, cell distortion, cavity, or electron-dense material in hyphal cells. Daughter hyphae and new daughter hyphae inside of the collapsed hyphal cells were often detected in the cytoplasm of sodium silicate-treated hyphae, although the septa of treated hyphae remained uniform. In vivo testing showed that sodium silicate at 100 and 200 mM effectively controlled dry rot of tubers that were challenged by inoculation with a F. sulphureum spore suspension. These findings suggest that sodium silicate has direct fungitoxic activity against the pathogen.

Abstract
The effect of sodium silicate (Si) for control of decay was tested in Hami melons (Cucumis melo L. var. inodorus Jacq.). Si significantly inhibited mycelial growth of Alternaria alternata, Fusarium semitectum, and Trichothecium roseum in vitro. Si at 100 mM was more effective than Si at 25 or 50 mM at controlling the diseases caused by the three pathogens, whereas Si at 200 mM was phytotoxic. Si treatments applied at 100 mM pre-inoculation with T. roseum had lower decay incidence and severity than treatments applied post-inoculation. The protection of Si was correlated with the activation of two families of defense-related enzymes, peroxidase and chitinase. Accumulation of both enzymes was induced in fruit treated with Si and challenged by T. roseum 24 h later, and was sustained for at least 9 days in 'New Queen' and 10 days in '8601' at room temperature. It appeared that induced resistance was an important mechanism of disease control in Hami melons treated with Si.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE To investigate the roles of mouse erythroid differentiation and denucleation factor (MEDDF), newly cloned in our laboratory, in erythroid terminal differentiation. METHODS Mouse erythroleukemia cells (MEL) were transfected with eukaryotic expression plasmid pcDNA-MEDDF. The changes of cell growth rate, mitotic index and colony-forming rate in semi-solid medium were investigated. The expressions of c-myc and beta-globin genes were analysed by semi-quantitative RT-PCR. RESULTS MEL cells transfected with pcDNA-MEDDF showed significant lower growth rate, mitotic index, and colony-forming rate in semisolid medium(P < 0.01). The percentage of benzidine-positive cells was 32.8% after transfection. The expression of beta-globin in cells transfected with pcDNA-MEDDF was 3.43 times higher than that of control (MEL transfected with blank vector, pcDNA3.1), and the expression of c-myc was decreased by 66.3%. CONCLUSIONS MEDDF can induce differentiation of MEL cell, and suppress its malignancy likely.

Abstract
Imageological data of 58 cases with chondroblastoma including plain radiographs in all cases, CT scan in 10 and scintigraphy of bone in 6 proved pathologically were reviewed and analysed. 33 cases were followed-up for 1 to 20 years after operation. The authors hold that plain radiograph is still the primary approach to assessment of this disorder. Position of the disease, calcification inside the focus, scalloping sclerotic rim and periosteal new bone formation frequently seen in metaphysis near the lesion are essential X-ray appearance. CT scan has some advantages in showing fine pathological fracture of cortex, subtel calcification, scope of involvement and recurrent signs in earlier stage, whereas bone scintigraphy is non-specific. The main factors of postoperative recurrence are incomplete curettage and more active biological behaviour of the tumor itself in part of cases. And some points for diagnosing chondroblastoma with atypical X-ray manifestations were also presented.
