Abstract
Anatomical variations of the right hepatic vein, especially large variant right hepatic veins (≥5 mm), have important clinical implications in liver transplantation and resection. This study aimed to evaluate anatomical variations of the right hepatic vein using quantitative three-dimensional visualization analysis. Computed tomography images of 650 patients were retrospectively analyzed, and three-dimensional visualization was applied using the derived data to analyze large variant right hepatic veins. The proportion of the large variant right hepatic vein was 16.92% (110/650). According to the location and number of the variant right hepatic veins, the configuration of the right hepatic venous system was divided into seven subtypes. The length of the retrohepatic inferior vena cava had a positive correlation with the diameter of the right hepatic vein (rs = 0.266, p = 0.001) and the variant right hepatic veins (rs = 0.211, p = 0.027). The diameter of the right hepatic vein was positively correlated with that of the middle hepatic vein (rs = 0.361, p < 0.001), while it was inversely correlated with that of the variant right hepatic veins (rs = -0.267, p = 0.005). The right hepatic vein diameter was positively correlated with the drainage volume (rs = 0.489, p < 0.001), while the correlation with the variant right hepatic veins drainage volume was negative (rs = -0.460, p < 0.001). The number of the variant right hepatic veins and their relative diameters were positively correlated (p < 0.001). The volume and percentage of the drainage area of the right hepatic vein decreased significantly as the number of the variant right hepatic vein increased (p < 0.001). The findings of this study concerning the variations of the hepatic venous system may be useful for the surgical planning of liver resection or transplantation.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Genetic polymorphism has been proven to have an important association with depression, which can influence the risk of developing depression, the efficacy of medications, and adverse effects via metabolic and neurological pathways. Nonetheless, aspects of the association between single nucleotide polymorphisms and depression have not been systematically investigated by bibliometric analysis. OBJECTIVE The aim of this study was to analyze the current status and trends of single nucleotide polymorphism research on depression through bibliometric and visual analysis. METHODS The Web of Science Core Collection was used to retrieve 10,043 articles that were published between 1998 and 2021. CiteSpace (6.1 R4) was used to perform collaborative network analysis, co-citation analysis, co-occurrence analysis, and citation burst detection. RESULTS The most productive and co-cited journals were the Journal of Affective Disorders and Biological Psychiatry, respectively, and an analysis of the references showed that the most recent research focused on the largest thematic cluster, "5-HT", reflecting the important research base in this area. "CYP2D6" has been in the spotlight since its emergence in 2009 and has become a research hotspot since its outbreak in 2019. However, "BDNF ", "COMT ", "older adults", "loci", and "DNA methylation" are also the new frontier of research, and some of them are currently in the process of exploration. CONCLUSION These findings offer a useful perspective on existing research and potential future approaches in the study of the association between single nucleotide polymorphisms and depression, which may assist researchers in selecting appropriate collaborators or journals.

Abstract
Background Late-onset depression (LOD) and early-onset depression (EOD) exhibit different pathological mechanisms and clinical phenotypes, including different extents of olfactory dysfunction. However, the brain abnormalities underlying the differences in olfactory dysfunction between EOD and LOD remain unclear. Objective The aim of this study was to compare the functional connectivity (FC) patterns of olfactory regions between EOD patients and LOD patients and examine their relationship with cognitive function. Methods One hundred and five patients with EOD, 101 patients with LOD and 160 normal controls (NCs) were recruited for the present study. Participants underwent clinical assessment, olfactory testing, cognitive assessments, and magnetic resonance imaging. Eight regions of the primary and secondary olfactory regions were selected to investigate olfactory FC. Results Patients with LOD exhibited decreased odor identification (OI) compared with patients with EOD and NCs. The LOD group exhibited decreased FC compared with the EOD and NC groups when primary and secondary olfactory regions were selected as the regions of interest (the piriform cortex, lateral entorhinal cortex, and orbital-frontal cortex). Additionally, these abnormal olfactory FCs were associated with decreased cognitive function scores and OI, and the FC between the left orbital-frontal cortex and left amygdala was a partial mediator of the relationship between global cognitive scores and OI. Conclusion Overall, patients with LOD exhibited decreased FC in both the primary and secondary olfactory cortices compared with patients with EOD, and abnormal olfactory FC was associated with OI dysfunction and cognitive impairment. The FC between the orbital-frontal cortex and amygdala mediated the relationship between global cognitive function and OI.

Abstract
Background Patients with anxious major depressive disorder (MDD) are more likely to have poorer outcomes than those with non-anxious MDD. However, the effect of esketamine on adolescents with anxious versus non-anxious MDD has remained unknown. Aims We compared the efficacy of esketamine in adolescents with MDD and suicidal ideation, both anxious and non-anxious. Methods Fifty-four adolescents with anxious (n=33) and non-anxious (n=21) MDD received three infusions of esketamine 0.25 mg/kg or active-placebo (midazolam 0.045 mg/kg) over 5 days, with routine inpatient care and treatment. Suicidal ideation and depressive symptoms were assessed using the Columbia Suicide Severity Rating Scale and the Montgomery-Åsberg Depression Rating Scale. Multiple-sample proportional tests were used to compare the differences between groups on treatment outcomes 24 hours after the final infusion (day 6, primacy efficacy endpoint) and throughout the 4-week post-treatment (days 12, 19 and 33). Results In subjects who received esketamine, a greater number of patients in the non-anxious group than the anxious group achieved antisuicidal remission on day 6 (72.7% vs 18.8%, p=0.015) and day 12 (90.9% vs 43.8%, p=0.013), and the non-anxious group had a higher antidepressant remission rate compared with the anxious group on day 33 (72.7% vs 26.7%, p=0.045). No significant differences in treatment outcomes were observed between the anxious and non-anxious groups at other time points. Conclusions Three infusions of esketamine as an adjunct to routine inpatient care and treatment had a greater immediate post-treatment antisuicidal effect in adolescents with non-anxious MDD than in those with anxious MDD; however, this benefit was temporary and was not maintained over time. Abstract
OBJECTIVE Late-life suicide is a vital public health concern. Though gerontological research suggested the young-old and old-old phases were heterogeneous, age differences in the elderly suicide have not been well studied due to the lack of comparable control groups and small samples. The study aimed to examine the age-specific suicidal characteristics and risk factors among the young-old (60-79) and old-old (over 80) elderly. METHODS Two hundred and forty two suicide decedents and 242 living comparisons were enrolled in a 1:1 matched case-control psychological autopsy study in rural China: 173 young-old and 69 old-old in each group. Suicidal characteristics, demographic characteristics, living arrangements, physical health, mental disorder, and psychosocial factors were collected. We used logistic regression models to assess risk factors of suicide and test for interactions between age and each risk factor. RESULTS Pesticide suicide was more prevalent among young-old suicides than old-old suicides (56.07% vs. 40.58%, p = 0.029). Non-currently married, unemployment, mental disorder, higher disability in physical activities of daily living, higher hopelessness and higher depressive symptom were significantly associated with suicide among older adults. The effect of poor function in physical activities of daily living on suicide was significantly greater during younger ages (p for interaction = 0.038). CONCLUSIONS Findings indicated that most suicidal characteristics and risk factors for completed suicide were generally similar among young-old and old-old adults. But poor function in physical activities of daily living predicted increase suicide risk only at younger ages. In addition to common risk factors, age-specific factors should also be noted in suicide prevention. CLINICAL TRIAL REGISTRATION According to the ICMJE, purely observational studies (those in which the assignment of the medical intervention is not at the discretion of the investigator) will not require registration. Our study was not registered because this is a case-control study. But all procedures of the study were carried out in accordance with the latest version of the Declaration of Helsinki. The study were approved by the Institutional Review Boards of the Central South University, Shandong University, and Guangxi Medical University.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Banana is a tropical fruit with a high economic impact worldwide. Cold stress greatly affects the development and production of banana. RESULTS In the present study, we investigated the functions of MaMAPK3 and MaICE1 involved in cold tolerance of banana. The effect of RNAi of MaMAPK3 on Dajiao (Musa spp. 'Dajiao'; ABB Group) cold tolerance was evaluated. The leaves of the MaMAPK3 RNAi transgenic plants showed wilting and severe necrotic symptoms, while the wide-type (WT) plants remained normal after cold exposure. RNAi of MaMAPK3 significantly changed the expressions of the cold-responsive genes, and the oxidoreductase activity was significantly changed in WT plants, while no changes in transgenic plants were observed. MaICE1 interacted with MaMAPK3, and the expression level of MaICE1 was significantly decreased in MaMAPK3 RNAi transgenic plants. Over-expression of MaICE1 in Cavendish banana (Musa spp. AAA group) indicated that the cold resistance of transgenic plants was superior to that of the WT plants. The POD P7 gene was significantly up-regulated in MaICE1-overexpressing transgenic plants compared with WT plants, and the POD P7 was proved to interact with MaICE1. CONCLUSIONS Taken together, our work provided new and solid evidence that MaMAPK3-MaICE1-MaPOD P7 pathway positively improved the cold tolerance in monocotyledon banana, shedding light on molecular breeding for the cold-tolerant banana or other agricultural species.

Abstract
A Gram-stain-negative, rod-shaped and aerobic bacterium, designated CL12T, was isolated from roots of Glycine max (Linn. Merr.) collected from an experimental field in the campus of South China Agricultural University, PR China (22°58'46″S, 110°51'10″E). Phylogenetic analysis based on 16S rRNA gene sequences revealed that strain CL12T belongs to the genus Rhizobium, closely related to Rhizobium wuzhouense W44T (99.3%), followed by Rhizobium rosettiformans W3T (98.0%) and Rhizobium ipomoeae Shin9-1T (97.9%). The results of analysis of sequences of four housekeeping genes (recA, atpD, rpoB and glnA) also revealed strain CL12T to be closely related to R. wuzhouense W44T with the similarities 91.0%, 95.0%, 94.2% and 90.5%, respectively. The major fatty acid of strain CL12T was Summed Feature 8 (C18:1ω7c and/or C18:1ω6c). Strain CL12T had not the nodulation genes (nodC and nodA) and nitrogenase reductase gene (nifH), and could not cause formation of nodule on soybean. The draft genome size of strain CL12T was 4.84 Mbp with a genomic DNA G + C content of 61.1 mol%. The digital DNA-DNA hybridization (dDDH) and average nucleotide identity (ANI) of strain CL12T and R. wuzhouense W44T were 27.4% and 84.7%, respectively. Based on genomic, phenotypic and phylogenetic analysis, strain CL12T is suggested to represent a new species of the genus Rhizobium, for which the name Rhizobium glycinendophyticum sp. nov. is proposed. The type strain is CL12T (=GDMCC 1.1597T = KACC 21281T).
