Abstract
Obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) is the frequent occurrence of apnea and/or hypopnea during sleep, leading to intermittent hypoxia, hypercapnia, and disruption of sleep architecture, further resulting in multisystem damage. The pathophysiological mechanisms include abnormal anatomical structure, low arousal threshold, high loop gain, and poor muscle reactivity, etc. As there are individual differences in the underlying mechanisms of OSA (i.e. endotypes), the effectiveness of treatment and prognosis may also vary according to these characteristics. Understanding the endotype of OSA is critical to understanding which patients are most likely to benefit from non-invasive ventilation therapy. Quantification of endotypes is central to the precision treatment of OSA and may provide the basis for accurate clinical treatment of OSA based on endotypes.

Abstract
PURPOSE The efficacy and safety of local excision (LE) for small (< 1‒2 cm) colonic neuroendocrine tumors (NETs) is controversial due to the higher metastasis risk when compared with rectal NETs. The study aimed to evaluate the metastasis risk of T1 colonic NETs and compare patients' long-term prognosis after LE or radical surgery (RS). METHODS The Surveillance Epidemiology and End Results database was used to identify patients with T1 colonic NETs (2004‒2015). Multivariable logistic regression was performed to assess factors associated with metastasis risk. Propensity score matching was used to balance the variables. Cancer-specific survival (CSS) and overall survival (OS) were calculated to estimate the prognosis of patients with T1N0M0 colonic NETs who underwent LE or RS. RESULTS Of the 610 patients with colonic NETs, 46 (7.54%) had metastasis at diagnosis. Tumor size (11-20 mm) (OR = 9.51; 95% confidence interval (CI): 4.32‒21.45; P < 0.001), right colon (OR = 15.79; 95% CI 7.20‒38.56; P < 0.001), submucosal infiltration (OR = 2.08; 95% CI 0.84‒5.57; P = 0.125) were independent risk factors associated with metastasis. Of the 515 patients with T1N0M0 colonic NETs, the overall long-term prognosis of LE was as good as that of RS groups (after matching, 5-year CSS: 97.9% vs. 94.6%, P = 0.450; 5-year OS: 92.7% vs. 85.6%, P = 0.009). CONCLUSION Tumor size (11‒20 mm) and site (right colon) are associated with metastasis in T1 colonic NETs. In the absence of metastasis, LE could be a viable option for 0‒10 mm T1 colonic NETs with well/moderate differentiation in the left colon in terms of long-term survival.

Abstract
Oral leukoplakia (OLK) is a common type of potentially malignant disorder. Early identification of the malignancy potential leads to a better management of OLK and prediction of development of oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC). However, there has been no effective biomarker to assess the risk of malignancy in OLK. Genomic copy number alteration (CNA) is a complex chromosomal structural variation in the genome and has been identified as a potential biomarker in multiple cancers. This study aimed to develop a predictive model for the malignant transformation risk of OLK by copy number analysis. A total of 431 OLK samples with long-term follow-up (median follow-up of 67 mo) from multiple academic centers were analyzed for CNAs. CNA events increased with the severity of hyperplasia, mild dysplasia, moderate dysplasia, and severe dysplasia. More CNA events were present in patients with OLK who later developed OSCC than in those with OLK who did not. By multivariate Cox regression analysis, the OLK of the CNA scorehigh group showed an increased risk of malignant transformation than the CNA scorelow group (P < 0.001). A CNA score model was developed to accurately predict the prognosis (area under the receiver operating characteristic curve [AUC] = 0.879; 95% confidence interval [CI], 0.799-0.959) and was validated using data from 2 external centers (AUC = 0.836, 95% CI, 0.683-0.989; AUC = 0.876, 95% CI, 0.682-1.000), and all of them showed better prediction performances than histopathological grade in assessing the transformation risk of OLK. Furthermore, we performed CNA models among 4 subgroups of OLK with hyperplasia, mild dysplasia, moderate dysplasia, and severe dysplasia and found that CNA score can accurately predict malignant transformation of different subgroups. CNA score may be a useful biomarker to predict malignant transformation of OLK. Subtyping of OLK by the CNA score could contribute to better management of OLK and predicting development of OSCC.

Abstract
Objective: To analyze the hypoxic parameters in patients with obstructive sleep apnea (OSA), to explore the difference and association between different types of respiratory events and to construct predictive models for respiratory event types. Methods: Fifty patients [including 41 males and 9 females with age 18-74(45.72±13.39) years ] with OSA diagnosed by polysomnography (PSG) were selected for retrospective analysis, and all respiratory events with pulse oximetry (SpO2) desaturation in the recorded overnight data were divided into hypopnea group (Hyp, 3 316), obstructive apnea group (OA, 5 552), central apnea group (CA, 1 088) and mixed apnea group (MA, 1 369) according to the type of events, and all event records were exported separately from the PSG software as comma-separated variable (.csv) files, which were imported and analyzed using the in-house built Matlab software. A total of 13 hypoxic parameter differences were compared among the four groups, including minimum oxygen saturation of events (e-minSpO2), the depth of desaturation (ΔSpO2), the duration of desaturation and resaturation (DSpO2), the duration of desaturation (d.DSpO2), duration of resaturation (r.DSpO2), duration of SpO2<90% (T90), duration of SpO2<90% during desaturation (d.T90), duration of SpO2<90% during resaturation (r.T90), area under the curve of SpO2<90% (ST90), area under the curve of SpO2<90% during desaturation (d.ST90), area under the curve of SpO2<90% during resaturation (r.ST90), oxygen desaturation rate (ODR) and oxygen resaturation rate (ORR). Hyp model (H), OA model (O), CA model (C) and MA model (M) were constructed respectively; group differences for the different hypoxia parameters were assessed using single factor analysis and Kruskal-Wallis H test. For different categories of respiratory events, binary logistic regression was used to identify the variables included in the regression model. Receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curves were generated to assess and compare the sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value and negative predictive value of the four models, thereby gauging the predictive precision of each model. Abstract
Objective: To investigate the expressions of Nod-like receptor protein 3 (NLRP3), cysteine-aspartic acid protease 1 (Caspase-1), and Gasdermin D (GSDMD) in nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC), and their relationships with the recurrence and metastasis of NPC. Methods: A retrospective study was conducted on 421 patients diagnosed with NPC between December 2014 and January 2020. The expressions of NLRP3, Caspase-1, and GSDMD in pathological specimens were examined with immunohistochemistry and multiplex immunofluorescence staining. Univariate and multivariate Cox regression analyses were applied to identify the factors influencing NPC recurrence and metastasis. In vitro experiments with NPC cell line HNE-2 were used to explore the functional mechanisms of NLRP3, Caspase-1, and GSDMD. Results: Multivariate Cox analysis revealed that tumor staging of Ⅲ-Ⅳ(HRrecurrence=2.74, 95%CIrecurrence: 1.61-4.65; HRmetastasis=1.90, 95%CImetastasis: 1.04-3.49) and pre-treatment plasma EBV-DNA levels≥1 500 copies/ml (HRrecurrence=1.91, 95%CIrecurrence: 1.13-3.23; HRmetastasis=2.07, 95%CImetastasis: 1.23-3.50)were independent risk factors for NPC recurrence and metastasis, while positive expression of NLRP3(HRrecurrence=0.17, 95%CIrecurrence: 0.08-0.35; HRmetastasis=0.30, 95%CImetastasis: 0.15-0.59), Caspase-1(HRrecurrence=0.32, 95%CIrecurrence: 0.18-0.59; HRmetastasis=0.43, 95%CImetastasis: 0.25-0.76), and GSDMD(HRrecurrence=0.48, 95%CIrecurrence: 0.25-0.91; HRmetastasis=0.96, 95%CImetastasis: 0.53-1.74) served as independent protective factors. Age (HR=1.02, 95%CI: 1.01-1.04) and intensity-modulated radiotherapy (HR=0.51, 95%CI: 0.30-0.88) were independent factors for NPC recurrence, whereas chemotherapy (HR=0.50, 95%CI: 0.29-0.88) acted as an independent protective factor for NPC metastasis (all P<0.05). NPC patients with positive expressions of the three proteins had higher locoregional recurrence-free survival, distant metastasis-free survival, and overall survival compared to those with negative expressions (all P<0.05). In vitro experiments revealed that the overexpression of NLRP3 activated the NLRP3/Caspase-1/GSDMD signaling pathway, as evidenced by Western Blot analysis. Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay and scanning electron microscopy demonstrated that overexpression of NLRP3 promoted pyroptosis in HNE-2 cells. Cellular functional assays further confirmed that overexpression of NLRP3 significantly inhibited the proliferation, invasion, and migration of HNE-2 cells. Conclusion: Positive expressions of NLRP3, Caspase-1, and GSDMD serves as independent protective factors for recurrence and metastasis of NPC, potentially by promoting cell pyroptosis and thus inhibiting NPC cell proliferation, invasion, and migration.

Abstract
This Letter reports the observation of single top quarks produced together with a photon, which directly probes the electroweak coupling of the top quark. The analysis uses 139 fb^{-1} of 13 TeV proton-proton collision data collected with the ATLAS detector at the Large Hadron Collider. Requiring a photon with transverse momentum larger than 20 GeV and within the detector acceptance, the fiducial cross section is measured to be 688±23(stat) _{-71}^{+75}(syst) fb, to be compared with the standard model prediction of 515_{-42}^{+36} fb at next-to-leading order in QCD.

Abstract
This Letter reports the observation of τ-lepton-pair production in ultraperipheral lead-lead collisions Pb+Pb→Pb(γγ→ττ)Pb and constraints on the τ-lepton anomalous magnetic moment a_{τ}. The dataset corresponds to an integrated luminosity of 1.44 nb^{-1} of LHC Pb+Pb collisions at sqrt[s_{NN}]=5.02 TeV recorded by the ATLAS experiment in 2018. Selected events contain one muon from a τ-lepton decay, an electron or charged-particle track(s) from the other τ-lepton decay, little additional central-detector activity, and no forward neutrons. The γγ→ττ process is observed in Pb+Pb collisions with a significance exceeding 5 standard deviations and a signal strength of μ_{ττ}=1.03_{-0.05}^{+0.06} assuming the standard model value for a_{τ}. To measure a_{τ}, a template fit to the muon transverse-momentum distribution from τ-lepton candidates is performed, using a dimuon (γγ→μμ) control sample to constrain systematic uncertainties. The observed 95% confidence-level interval for a_{τ} is -0.057

Abstract
PURPOSE/OBJECTIVE(S) Maintenance therapy with alternative agents after chemotherapy was shown to improve the overall survival in some advanced cancers such as breast cancer, lung cancer, ovarian cancer and so on. However, maintenance therapy is not accepted as the standard treatment for recurrent/metastatic cervical cancer. Aim of this study is to elucidate the efficacy of maintenance therapy in cervical cancer and to explore the factors associated with the prognosis of recurrent or metastatic cervical cancer. MATERIALS/METHODS In this multicenter cohort study, we retrospectively collected patients with a diagnosis of either recurrent or stage IVB cervical cancer to receive first-line chemotherapy with or without maintenance therapy. Patients did not have disease progression with first-line chemotherapy and were divided into maintenance therapy group (Arm A) and conventional chemotherapy group (Arm B). Information on clinical characteristics, metastasis information, treatment outcome and survival of patients was collected using an electronic medical record system. The endpoints of the study were OS and PFS. Data were analyzed for general characteristics and survival using statistical software, and the results were considered statistically significant at P < 0.05. RESULTS Between January 2019 and July 2021, a total of 270 patients were enrolled from 6 institutions in China. 26 patients were excluded because of short treatment cycles (less than 3 cycles). Finally, a total of 66 patients in Arm A and 178 patients in Arm B were analyzed for survival. The addition of maintenance significantly prolonged overall survival. Overall survival at 3 year was 50.1% in Arm A and 27.8% in Arm B (median overall survival, ≥36 months vs. 22 months; P<0. 001). The median progression-free survival was 21 months in Arm A and 14 months in Arm B (P = 0.025). Univariate survival analysis showed that age, maintenance therapy, combined radiotherapy, and number of extra-pelvic metastases were associated with PFS. Further multifactorial analysis showed that maintenance therapy, combined radiotherapy, and number of extra-pelvic metastases were independent prognostic factors for patients with recurrent or metastatic cervical cancer. CONCLUSION The addition of maintenance therapy significantly prolonged overall survival as well as progression-free survival in patients with recurrent or metastatic cervical cancer and did not increase the incidence of serious adverse events. It is time to consider maintenance therapy as the standard treatment after conventional chemotherapy for recurrent or metastatic cervical cancer, rather than waiting for disease progression.

Abstract
Jet quenching is the process of color-charged partons losing energy via interactions with quark-gluon plasma droplets created in heavy-ion collisions. The collective expansion of such droplets is well described by viscous hydrodynamics. Similar evidence of collectivity is consistently observed in smaller collision systems, including pp and p+Pb collisions. In contrast, while jet quenching is observed in Pb+Pb collisions, no evidence has been found in these small systems to date, raising fundamental questions about the nature of the system created in these collisions. The ATLAS experiment at the Large Hadron Collider has measured the yield of charged hadrons correlated with reconstructed jets in 0.36 nb^{-1} of p+Pb and 3.6 pb^{-1} of pp collisions at 5.02 TeV. The yields of charged hadrons with p_{T}^{ch}>0.5 GeV near and opposite in azimuth to jets with p_{T}^{jet}>30 or 60 GeV, and the ratios of these yields between p+Pb and pp collisions, I_{pPb}, are reported. The collision centrality of p+Pb events is categorized by the energy deposited by forward neutrons from the struck nucleus. The I_{pPb} values are consistent with unity within a few percent for hadrons with p_{T}^{ch}>4 GeV at all centralities. These data provide new, strong constraints that preclude almost any parton energy loss in central p+Pb collisions.

Abstract
A search for a long-lived, heavy neutral lepton (N) in 139 fb^{-1} of sqrt[s]=13 TeV pp collision data collected by the ATLAS detector at the Large Hadron Collider is reported. The N is produced via W→Nμ or W→Ne and decays into two charged leptons and a neutrino, forming a displaced vertex. The N mass is used to discriminate between signal and background. No signal is observed, and limits are set on the squared mixing parameters of the N with the left-handed neutrino states for the N mass range 3 GeV

Abstract
A test of CP invariance in Higgs boson production via vector-boson fusion has been performed in the H→γγ channel using 139 fb^{-1} of proton-proton collision data at sqrt[s]=13 TeV collected by the ATLAS detector at the LHC. The optimal observable method is used to probe the CP structure of interactions between the Higgs boson and electroweak gauge bosons, as described by an effective field theory. No sign of CP violation is observed in the data. Constraints are set on the parameters describing the strength of the CP-odd component in the coupling between the Higgs boson and the electroweak gauge bosons in two effective field theory bases: d[over ˜] in the HISZ basis and c_{HW[over ˜]} in the Warsaw basis. The results presented are the most stringent constraints on CP violation in the coupling between Higgs and weak bosons. The 95% C.L. constraint on d[over ˜] is derived for the first time and the 95% C.L. constraint on c_{HW[over ˜]} has been improved by a factor of 5 compared to the previous measurement.

Abstract
Objective: To investigate the relationship between respiratory event-related arousal and increased pulse rate in patients with obstructive sleep apnea (OSA), and to evaluate whether elevated pulse rate can be used as a surrogate marker of arousal. Methods: A total of 80 patients [40 males and 40 females, age range (18-63 years), mean age (37±13) years] who attended the Sleep Center of the Department of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine, Tianjin Medical University General Hospital for polysomnography (PSG) from January 2021 to August 2022 were enrolled. Stable PSG recordings of non-rapid eye movement (NREM) sleep to compare the mean pulse rate (PR), the lowest PR 10 seconds before the onset of arousal, and the highest PR within 10 seconds after the end of arousal associated with each respiratory event. At the same time, the correlation between the arousal index and the pulse rate increase index (PRRI), as well as ΔPR1 (highest PR-lowest PR) and ΔPR2 (highest PR-mean PR), respectively, with the duration of respiratory events, the duration of arousal, the magnitude of pulse oximetry (SpO2) decline, and the lowest SpO2 was analyzed. Among the 53 patients, 10 events without arousal and 10 events with arousal (matched for the magnitude of SpO2 decline) were selected for NREM in each of the 53 patients, and ΔPR before and after termination of respiratory events in the two groups was compared. In addition, 50 patients were simultaneously subjected to portable sleep monitoring (PM) and divided into non-severe OSA group (n=22) and severe OSA group (n=28), and ΔPR≥3 times,≥6 times,≥9 times, and≥12 times after respiratory events were used as surrogate markers of arousal, and ΔPR was scored manually and integrated into the respiratory event index (REI) of PM. Then, we compared the agreement between REI calculated from the four PR cut-off points and the apnea-hypopnea index (AHIPSG) calculated by the gold standard PSG. Results: ΔPR1 [(13±7)times/min] and ΔPR2 [(11±6)times/min] were significantly higher in patients with severe OSA than in patients with non-OSA,mild and moderate OSA. The arousal index was positively correlated with the four PRRIs (r 0.968, 0.886, 0.773, 0.687, P<0.001, respectively), and the highest PR [(77±12) times/min] within 10 s after the end of arousal was significantly higher than the lowest PR [(65±10) times/min, t=113.24, P<0.001] and the mean PR [(67±11) times/min, t=103.02, P<0.001]. ΔPR1 and ΔPR2 were moderately correlated with the decrease in SpO2 (r=0.490, 0.469, P<0.001). After matching the magnitude of SpO2 decline, the ΔPR[(9±6)/min] before and after the termination of respiratory events with arousal was significantly higher than that of respiratory events without arousal [(6±5)/min, t=7.72, P<0.001]. The differences between REI+PRRI3 and REI+PRRI6 and AHIPSG in the non-severe OSA group were not statistically significant (P values 0.055 and 0.442, respectively), and REI+PRRI6 and AHIPSG showed good agreement (the mean difference was 0.7 times/h, 95%CI 8.3-7.0 times/h). The four indicators of PM in the severe OSA group were statistically different from AHIPSG (all P<0.05), and the agreement was poor. Conclusions: Respiratory event-related arousal in OSA patients is independently associated with increased PR, and frequent arousal may lead to increased frequency of PR fluctuations, and elevated PR may be used as a surrogate marker of arousal, especially in patients with non-severe OSA, where elevated PR≥6 times significantly improves the diagnostic agreement between PM and PSG.

Abstract
BACKGROUND The emergence of Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) and subsequent Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic has resulted in a significant global public health burden, leading to an urgent need for effective therapeutic strategies. Monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) are a potentially effective therapeutic option. We identified a potent antibody JMB2002 against the SARS-CoV-2 receptor binding domain. JMB2002 has demonstrated therapeutic efficacy in a SARS-CoV-2 infected rhesus macaque model. METHODS We conducted a randomized, double-blind, phase 1 trial to evaluate the JMB2002's safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics, and immunogenicity in healthy Chinese adults. Participants were randomly assigned to one of four cohorts with sequential dose, administrated intravenously with JMB2002 or placebo, and followed up for 85 ± 5 days. RESULTS 40 participants were recruited and completed in the study. Eight (25.0%) participants experienced 13 treatment emergent adverse events (TEAEs) that were drug-related. No serious adverse events (SAEs), dose limiting events (DLTs), or adverse events of special interest (AESIs), such as infusion related/allergic reactions, were observed, and no drop out due to adverse events (AEs) occurred. There was no significant safety difference observed between JMB2002 and the placebo, suggesting it was well tolerated. The AUC0-∞, AUC0 - t of JMB2002 infusion increased dose-dependently from 5 mg/kg to 50 mg/kg while there is also a linear trend between doses and Cmax. CONCLUSION Therefore, JMB2002 was well tolerated after administration of a single dose in the range of 5 mg/kg to 50 mg/kg in healthy Chinese adults. Abstract
The proton is one of the main building blocks of all visible matter in the Universe1. Among its intrinsic properties are its electric charge, mass and spin2. These properties emerge from the complex dynamics of its fundamental constituents-quarks and gluons-described by the theory of quantum chromodynamics3-5. The electric charge and spin of protons, which are shared among the quarks, have been investigated previously using electron scattering2. An example is the highly precise measurement of the electric charge radius of the proton6. By contrast, little is known about the inner mass density of the proton, which is dominated by the energy carried by gluons. Gluons are hard to access using electron scattering because they do not carry an electromagnetic charge. Here we investigated the gravitational density of gluons using a small colour dipole, through the threshold photoproduction of the J/ψ particle. We determined the gluonic gravitational form factors of the proton7,8 from our measurement. We used a variety of models9-11 and determined, in all cases, a mass radius that is notably smaller than the electric charge radius. In some, but not all cases, depending on the model, the determined radius agrees well with first-principle predictions from lattice quantum chromodynamics12. This work paves the way for a deeper understanding of the salient role of gluons in providing gravitational mass to visible matter.

Abstract
INTRODUCTION Severe Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) progresses with inflammation and coagulation, due to an overactive complement system. Complement component 5a (C5a) plays a key role in the complement system to trigger a powerful "cytokine and chemokine storm" in viral infection. BDB-001, a recombinant human immunoglobulin G4 (IgG4) that specially binds to C5a, has the potential to inhibit the C5a-triggered cytokine storm in treating COVID-19 patients and other inflammation diseases. Here, we have explored its safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics, and pharmacodynamics in healthy adults. This trial is registered with http://www.chinadrugtrials.org.cn/(CTR20200429 ). METHODS Thirty-two enrolled participants were randomized into three single-dose cohorts (2, 4, and 8 mg/kg) and 1 multi-dose cohort (4 mg/kg), and received either BDB-001 or placebo (3:1) double-blindly. The safety and tolerability after administration were evaluated for 21 days for single-dose cohorts and 28 days for the multi-dose cohort. The pharmacokinetics of BDB-001 in plasma and pharmacodynamics as free C5a in plasma were analyzed. RESULTS The incidence of drug-related adverse events (AEs) was low, and all AEs were mild or moderate: neither AEs ≥ 3 (NCI-Common Terminology Criteria For Adverse Events, CTCAE 5.0) nor serious adverse events (SAEs) were found. The area under the concentration-time curve from time zero to 480 h (AUC0-480h), that from time zero to infinity (AUCinf), and peak plasma concentration ©max) increased dose-dependently from 2 to 8 mg/kg in the single-dose cohorts and were characterized by a nonlinear pharmacokinetics of target-mediated drug disposal (TMDD). The accumulation index by AUC0-tau after five administrations (4 mg/kg) from the multi-dose cohort was 6.42, suggesting an accumulation effect. Furthermore, inhibition of C5a at the plasma level was observed. CONCLUSION The results of this phase I study supported that BDB-001 is a potent anti-C5a inhibitor with safety, tolerability, and no immunogenicity. TRIAL REGISTRATION NUMBER: CTR20200429.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Physical frailty and cognitive impairment are prevalent globally, particularly in China, which is experiencing an unprecedented aging of its large population. OBJECTIVES Examine the association between physical frailty and the level and rate of change of cognitive function, globally and by domain, among community-dwelling Chinese older adults, and quantify the mediation effects from activities of daily living (ADL) limitations and depressive symptoms. DESIGN Longitudinal. SETTING China Health and Retirement Longitudinal Study (2011-2018). PARTICIPANTS 5,431 eligible adults aged ≥ 60 years with valid information on physical frailty. MEASUREMENTS Physical frailty, cognitive function, ADL limitations, and depressive symptoms were respectively assessed by frailty phenotypes, the Telephone Interview for Cognitive Status (episodic memory, executive function, and orientation), performance in six daily tasks, and the eight-item Center for Epidemiological Studies Depression Scale. Latent growth curve models were used to address the objectives. RESULTS Compared to adults who were non-frail, those who were pre-frail (β = -0.06) and frail (β = -0.13) reported significantly worse global cognitive function and episodic memory (pre-frail: β = -0.05; frail: β = -0.14), executive function (pre-frail: β = -0.04, frail: β = -0.10), and orientation (pre-frail: β = -0.06; frail: β = -0.07) at baseline; those who were frail were more likely to experience faster decline in global cognitive function (β = 0.12) and episodic memory (β = 0.08). ADL limitations (β = -0.07) and depressive symptoms (β = -0.14) significantly mediated the association between physical frailty and the level of cognitive function, but not its rate of decline. CONCLUSIONS Intervention strategies that help maintain cognitive function may benefit from early screening and assessment of physical frailty. For pre-frail and frail older Chinese adults, programs designed to help improve or maintain activities of daily living and reduce number of depressive symptoms may contribute to better cognitive performance.

Abstract
Rosa (Rosaceae) is an important ornamental and medicinal plant genus worldwide, with several species being cultivated in China. Members of Sporocadaceae (pestalotioid fungi) are globally distributed and include endophytes, saprobes but also plant pathogens, infecting a broad range of host plants on which they can cause important plant diseases. Although several Sporocadaceae species were recorded to inhabit Rosa spp., the taxa occurring on Rosa remain largely unresolved. In this study, a total of 295 diseased samples were collected from branches, fruits, leaves and spines of eight Rosa species (R. chinensis, R. helenae, R. laevigata, R. multiflora, R. omeiensis, R. rugosa, R. spinosissima and R. xanthina) in Gansu, Henan, Hunan, Qinghai, Shaanxi Provinces and the Ningxia Autonomous Region of China. Subsequently 126 strains were obtained and identified based on comparisons of DNA sequence data. Based on these results 15 species residing in six genera of Sporocadaceae were delineated, including four known species (Pestalotiopsis chamaeropis, Pes. rhodomyrtus, Sporocadus sorbi and Spo. trimorphus) and 11 new species described here as Monochaetia rosarum, Neopestalotiopsis concentrica, N. subepidermalis, Pestalotiopsis tumida, Seimatosporium centrale, Seim. gracile, Seim. nonappendiculatum, Seim. parvum, Seiridium rosae, Sporocadus brevis, and Spo. spiniger. This study also represents the first report of Pes. chamaeropis, Pes. rhodomyrtus and Spo. sorbi on Rosa. The overall data revealed that Pestalotiopsis was the most prevalent genus, followed by Seimatosporium, while Pes. chamaeropis and Pes. rhodomyrtus were the two most prevalent species. Abstract
This Letter reports the observation of WWW production and a measurement of its cross section using 139 fb^{-1} of proton-proton collision data recorded at a center-of-mass energy of 13 TeV by the ATLAS detector at the Large Hadron Collider. Events with two same-sign leptons (electrons or muons) and at least two jets, as well as events with three charged leptons, are selected. A multivariate technique is then used to discriminate between signal and background events. Events from WWW production are observed with a significance of 8.0 standard deviations, where the expectation is 5.4 standard deviations. The inclusive WWW production cross section is measured to be 820±100 (stat)±80 (syst) fb, approximately 2.6 standard deviations from the predicted cross section of 511±18 fb calculated at next-to-leading-order QCD and leading-order electroweak accuracy.

Abstract
The standard model of particle physics1-4 describes the known fundamental particles and forces that make up our Universe, with the exception of gravity. One of the central features of the standard model is a field that permeates all of space and interacts with fundamental particles5-9. The quantum excitation of this field, known as the Higgs field, manifests itself as the Higgs boson, the only fundamental particle with no spin. In 2012, a particle with properties consistent with the Higgs boson of the standard model was observed by the ATLAS and CMS experiments at the Large Hadron Collider at CERN10,11. Since then, more than 30 times as many Higgs bosons have been recorded by the ATLAS experiment, enabling much more precise measurements and new tests of the theory. Here, on the basis of this larger dataset, we combine an unprecedented number of production and decay processes of the Higgs boson to scrutinize its interactions with elementary particles. Interactions with gluons, photons, and W and Z bosons-the carriers of the strong, electromagnetic and weak forces-are studied in detail. Interactions with three third-generation matter particles (bottom (b) and top (t) quarks, and tau leptons (τ)) are well measured and indications of interactions with a second-generation particle (muons, μ) are emerging. These tests reveal that the Higgs boson discovered ten years ago is remarkably consistent with the predictions of the theory and provide stringent constraints on many models of new phenomena beyond the standard model.

Abstract
To analyze the changes of coagulation function in severe fever with thrombocytopenia syndrome (SFTS) and its relationship with thrombocytopenia, and to explore its value as an early predictor of the severity of SFTS. The clinical data of 428 SFTS patients (70 deaths and 358 survivors) admitted to the Department of Infectious Disease at Wuhan Union Hospital from January 2014 to July 2020 were retrospectively analyzed. The differences of coagulation parameters and disseminated intravascular coagulation (DIC) scores between the two groups were compared. The results showed that abnormal coagulation function was commonly presented in SFTS patients. Bleeding was more frequent in mortality group (41.4% vs. 26.5%). The D-dimer levels in mortality patients were significantly higher above normal range. Activated partial thrombin time (APTT) and thrombin time (TT) were significantly prolonged. The levels of prothrombin time (PT), TT, APTT, international standardized ratio (INR) and D-dimer between mortality group and survival group started to separate from day 5-6. The difference of fibrinogen (FIB) level developed on day 7-8, while platelet counts between the two groups were significant different from day 9-10. The mortality rate increased according to the increase of baseline DIC score. When DIC score reached 6, the mortality rate surged to 66.67%. Excessive platelet consumption is mediated by significant coagulation abnormalities during disease course, and coagulation parameters are more sensitive than platelet count as an early predictor of severe SFTS.

Abstract
We report high-precision measurements of the deeply virtual Compton scattering (DVCS) cross section at high values of the Bjorken variable x_{B}. DVCS is sensitive to the generalized parton distributions of the nucleon, which provide a three-dimensional description of its internal constituents. Using the exact analytic expression of the DVCS cross section for all possible polarization states of the initial and final electron and nucleon, and final state photon, we present the first experimental extraction of all four helicity-conserving Compton form factors (CFFs) of the nucleon as a function of x_{B}, while systematically including helicity flip amplitudes. In particular, the high accuracy of the present data demonstrates sensitivity to some very poorly known CFFs.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE The aim of the study was to analyze the clinical data of newly diagnosed prostate cancer (PCa) patients with bone metastasis and to explore the relevant risk factors. PATIENTS AND METHODS The clinical data of 251 patients with PCa, who were initially diagnosed in our hospital from February 2015 to October 2021, were retrospectively analyzed. According to the whole-body bone scan results, patients were divided into the bone metastasis group (n = 66) and the non-bone metastasis group (n = 185). The patient's age, total prostate-specific antigen (TPSA), free PSA (fPSA), prostate volume, alkaline phosphatase (ALP), Gleason score, erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR), and pelvic lymph node metastasis were collected. Univariate correlation and multivariate regression analyses, together with receiver operating characteristic curve, were used to analyze PCa bone metastasis-related factors. RESULTS The incidence of bone metastasis in newly diagnosed PCa was about 26.29% (66/251). Among them, the incidence of pelvic metastasis was the highest, at 78.78% (52/251), and multiple bone metastases were significantly higher than single bone metastasis (80.31% vs. 19.69%). Univariate correlation analysis indicated that age, Gleason score, ESR, TPSA, ALP, fPSA/PSA, capsular infiltration, and pelvic lymph node metastasis (p < 0.05) were highly correlated with PCa bone metastasis. Multivariate Logistic regression analysis showed that TPSA (95% CI: 0.977-1.284, p = 0.007), ALP (95% CI: 1.008-1.080, p = 0.016), Gleasons core (95% CI: 2.110-82.349, p = 0.006), ESR (95% CI: 1.062-1.104, p = 0.003), and pelvic lymph node metastasis (95% CI: 1.537--33.239, p = 0.012) were independent risk factors for bone metastasis of PCa. The cut-off values for TPSA, ALP, Gleason score, and ESR were 33.78 ng/ml, 73.65 U/L, 7.5, and 23.5 mm/h, respectively. Additionally, the respective sensitivities for TPSA, ALP, Gleason score, and ESR were 81.8%, 75.8%, 68.2% and 77.3%, and the respective specificities was 90.3%, 98.9%, 98.4%, and 74.6%. CONCLUSIONS TPSA, ALP, Gleason score, ESR and pelvic lymph node metastasis are independent risk factors for bone metastasis of PCa.

Abstract
Objective: To verify the efficacy and safety of daily oral minodronate in postmenopausal women with established osteoporosis. Methods: In this randomized, double-blinded, placebo-controlled trial, 262 postmenopausal women were enrolled. Patients were randomized to receive daily oral minodronate 1 mg with supplements of 500 mg calcium and 200 U vitamin D3 (n=130) or placebo (n=132) with daily supplements of 500 mg calcium and 200 U vitamin D3, for 48 weeks. The primary endpoint was the average bone mineral density (BMD) change in the lumbar vertebrae 48 weeks post-treatment. Secondary outcome measures was the incidence of vertebral fractures. Safety assessments included the rate of adverse events. Results: At the end of 48 weeks treatment, the average BMD change rate from baseline were: full analysis set results: (3.52±4.82)% in the minodronate group and (2.00±5.74)% in the placebo group; per-protocol set results: (3.99±5.05)% in the minodronate group and (2.07±6.20)% in the placebo group; the differences were all significant (all P<0.05). Vertebral fracture occured in 3 patients (2.3%, 3/132) in the placebo group, and 1 case (0.8%, 1/130) in the minodronate group (P>0.05). The incidence of adverse events was 71.5% (93/130) in the minodronate group and 78.0% (103/132) in the placebo group (P>0.05). Conclusion: Minodronate is effective and safe in the treatment of postmenopausal osteoporosis without severe side effects.

Abstract
The current study aimed to investigate the efficacy and safety of carotid endarterectomy combined with endovascular therapy in hybrid operating room for patients with segmental atherosclerotic internal carotid artery occlusion, and share the experience of preoperative screening of patients suitable for vascular reconstruction. A total of 20 patients with internal carotid artery occlusion (ICAO) who were admitted to the Department of Neurosurgery, General Hospital of Tianjin Medical University from May 2018 to May 2020 were collected, and 15 patients met the inclusion criteria. All patients received hybrid surgery. The total success rate of recanalization was 14/15, and only 1 patient developed ICA re-occlusion at 1 year follow up.Therefore, carotid endarterectomy combined with endovascular treatment in hybrid operating room was an alternative treatment for patients with segmental atherosclerotic internal carotid artery occlusion.

Abstract
We present new precision measurements of the elastic electron-proton scattering cross section for momentum transfer (Q^{2}) up to 15.75 (GeV/c)^{2}. Combined with existing data, these provide an improved extraction of the proton magnetic form factor at high Q^{2} and double the range over which a longitudinal or transverse separation of the cross section can be performed. The difference between our results and polarization data agrees with that observed at lower Q^{2} and attributed to hard two-photon exchange (TPE) effects, extending to 8 (GeV/c)^{2} the range of Q^{2} for which a discrepancy is established at >95% confidence. We use the discrepancy to quantify the size of TPE contributions needed to explain the cross section at high Q^{2}.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Despite reports on neuroprotective effects of dietary theobromine intake, whether dietary theobromine has beneficial effects on cognitive function is unclear. OBJECTIVES To investigate the association between dietary theobromine and cognitive function. DESIGN A cross-sectional study. SETTING Data were collected from the 2011-2014 cycles of the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey conducted by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention of the USA. PARTICIPANTS A representative American population aged ≥60 years. MEASUREMENTS L-theobromine was treated as a log transform and dichotomous form (the highest quantile vs. others). Cognitive function was measured using four tests: Consortium to Establish a Registry for Alzheimer's Disease Word Learning tests, Consortium to Establish a Registry for Alzheimer's Disease delayed recall test, animal fluency test, and digit symbol substitution test. We conducted multiple regression analyses and subgroup analyses to study the association between theobromine and cognitive performance. Basic characteristics, lifestyle factors, disease history, and nutritional intake were adjusted for in these models. RESULTS A total of 2,845 participants were included in the study. The highest quantile of L-theobromine intake was positively associated with sores of delayed recall, animal fluency, and digit symbol substitution tests (β, 95% confidence interval, P: 0.11, -0.00-0.30, 0.049; 0.50, 0.02-0.99, 0.043; 1.55, 0.33-2.77, 0.015; respectively) in the fully adjusted model, but not with immediate recall score (β=0.13, 95% confidence interval -0.16-0.43, P=0.361). Subgroup analyses showed that L-theobromine intake was associated with cognitive performance in the highest quantile of caffeine intake. CONCLUSIONS Daily theobromine intake was associated with cognitive performance in a large nationally representative population. However, further research is needed to corroborate our findings.

Abstract
A search for lepton-flavor-violating Z→eτ and Z→μτ decays with pp collision data recorded by the ATLAS detector at the LHC is presented. This analysis uses 139 fb^{-1} of Run 2 pp collisions at sqrt[s]=13 TeV and is combined with the results of a similar ATLAS search in the final state in which the τ lepton decays hadronically, using the same data set as well as Run 1 data. The addition of leptonically decaying τ leptons significantly improves the sensitivity reach for Z→ℓτ decays. The Z→ℓτ branching fractions are constrained in this analysis to B(Z→eτ)<7.0×10^{-6} and B(Z→μτ)<7.2×10^{-6} at 95% confidence level. The combination with the previously published analyses sets the strongest constraints to date: B(Z→eτ)<5.0×10^{-6} and B(Z→μτ)<6.5×10^{-6} at 95% confidence level.

Abstract
Objective: To investigate the diagnosis, treatment and prognosis of ureteral endometriosis with hydronephrosis. Methods: A retrospective study was performed of 92 cases diagnosed as ureteral endometriosis with surgery confirmed in Peking University First Hospital from January 2000 to January 2021. Results: The incidence of ureteral endometriosis was 0.9% (92/10 222), with an average age of (40.0±6.0) years. Among 92 cases, urological symptoms and pelvic pain including dysmenorrheal, periodic abdominal pain were the main forms of clinical characteristics, while 11 patients (12%, 11/92) were asymptomatic. All patients with ureteral endometriosis had hydronephrosis and hydroureter before surgery, hydronephrosis were left sided in 48 (52%, 48/92) patients, right sided in 39 (42%, 39/92) patients, both sided in 5 (5%,5/92) patients. The distal and middle sections of ureteral obstructions existed in 73 (79%, 73/92) patients and 19 (21%, 19/92) patients, respectively. Out of the 92 ureteral lesions 71 (77%, 71/92) patients were extrinsic lesions, 21 (23%, 21/92) patients presented intrinsic lesions. Of the 38 cases who took preoperative radionuclide renal dynamic imaging examination, there were 6 (16%, 6/38) cases of mildly damaged, 7 (18%, 7/38) cases of moderately dameged, 14 (37%, 14/38) cases of severely damaged, and 11 (29%, 11/38) cases of normal renal function. Laparotomy was decided in 25 (27%, 25/92) patients, and laparoscopic surgery in 67 (73%, 67/92) patients. In cases of ureteral surgery, ureterolysis, partial ureteral resection and ureterocystoneostomy, partial ureteral resection and end-to-end ureteral anastomosis and nephroureterectomy were undertaken in 52 (57%, 52/92), 20 (22%, 20/92), 12 (13%, 12/92) and 8 (9%, 8/92) patients separately. The median follow up was 108 months (range: 6 to 240 months). During the follow-up period, 68 (87%, 68/78) patients took urinary ultrasound after surgery, and 60 (88%, 60/68) cases of hydronephrosis disappeared, and 8 (12%, 8/68) cases were better than before. Conclusion: Most of the patients with ureteral endometriosis are impaired with renal function, and early surgical treatment could effectively relieve urinary obstruction and promote the recovery of renal function.

Abstract Abstract: Objective To analyze the first epidemic spread of the novel coronavirus Delta variant in China based on public security forensic perspective, investigate its transmission characteristics, contributing factors, and epidemiologic research experience, and provide a reference for the prevention and control of the epidemic caused by the novel coronavirus variant. Methods Based on the information that public security forensic experts obtained from front-line epidemiologic research, the gender, age, place of residence, transmission route and infectivity of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) confirmed cases, asymptomatic infected persons and their close contacts in Guangzhou caused by the novel coronavirus Delta variant were analyzed. The basic reproduction number (R0) during this epidemic in Guangzhou was calculated. Results Among the 153 cases infected with novel coronavirus Delta variant in the epidemic, 63 cases were male and 90 cases were female, their age ranging from 1 to 92 years, with a median age of 49 years. The main route of transmission was close contact, including dining together, co-living, and close contact in the same residential building. There were 31 cases of family clusters, 25 of which were in Liwan District. The epidemic lasted from May 26 to May 29, and the R0 remained above 4.0. After May 30, R0 began to decline and remained below 1.0 from June 7. Conclusion The novel coronavirus Delta variant is highly infectious, the crowd is generally susceptible to infection and family cluster cases are easy to occur. So, it is necessary to precisely prevent and control this strain. Public security forensic experts have both medical literacy and criminal investigation capabilities, they can play a more professional role in epidemic prevention and control.

Abstract
We report measurements of the exclusive neutral pion electroproduction cross section off protons at large values of x_{B} (0.36, 0.48, and 0.60) and Q^{2} (3.1 to 8.4 GeV^{2}) obtained from Jefferson Lab Hall A experiment E12-06-014. The corresponding structure functions dσ_{T}/dt+εdσ_{L}/dt, dσ_{TT}/dt, dσ_{LT}/dt, and dσ_{LT^{'}}/dt are extracted as a function of the proton momentum transfer t-t_{min}. The results suggest the amplitude for transversely polarized virtual photons continues to dominate the cross section throughout this kinematic range. The data are well described by calculations based on transversity generalized parton distributions coupled to a helicity flip distribution amplitude of the pion, thus providing a unique way to probe the structure of the nucleon.

Abstract
A search for new phenomena is presented in final states with two leptons and one or no b-tagged jets. The event selection requires the two leptons to have opposite charge, the same flavor (electrons or muons), and a large invariant mass. The analysis is based on the full run-2 proton-proton collision dataset recorded at a center-of-mass energy of sqrt[s]=13 TeV by the ATLAS experiment at the LHC, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 139 fb^{-1}. No significant deviation from the expected background is observed in the data. Inspired by the B-meson decay anomalies, a four-fermion contact interaction between two quarks (b, s) and two leptons (ee or μμ) is used as a benchmark signal model, which is characterized by the energy scale and coupling, Λ and g_{*}, respectively. Contact interactions with Λ/g_{*} lower than 2.0 (2.4) TeV are excluded for electrons (muons) at the 95% confidence level, still far below the value that is favored by the B-meson decay anomalies. Model-independent limits are set as a function of the minimum dilepton invariant mass, which allow the results to be reinterpreted in various signal scenarios.

Abstract
Global warming results in high temperature stress (HTS), which presents severe challenges worldwide for modern agricultural production and will have significant impacts on the yield and quality of crops. Accumulation of photosynthetic products, activity of enzymes involved in sucrose-starch metabolism, phytohormone levels and metabolic profiling using LC-MS were analysed in the flag leaves and/or developing grains subjected to HTS during the grain-filling stage of an indica rice. HTS induced significant yield loss and reduced the grain quality, with lower amylose content. HTS reduced photosynthetic product accumulation in flag leaves and reduced starch accumulation in developing grains, compared to growth under normal temperatures. The activity of enzymes related to sucrose-starch metabolism were dis-regulated in developing grains grown under high temperature (HT). Moreover, phytohormone homeostasis in flag leaves and developing grains was also dramatically disturbed by HT. Metabolic profiling detected many metabolites with remarkably different relative fold abundances at different time points in the developing grain at HT versus normal temperatures, these metabolites were enriched in several HTS response pathways. The change in phytohormone ratio and auxin level might be associated with the reduction in photosynthetic products and their translocation, and ultimately with reduced starch accumulation in the developing grain. The detected metabolites might have different roles in response to the HTS in developing grain at different development stages. These results provide a theoretical reference and basis for future rice production towards higher quality and yield when grown under HTS.

Abstract
A search for charged leptons with large impact parameters using 139 fb^{-1} of sqrt[s]=13 TeV pp collision data from the ATLAS detector at the LHC is presented, addressing a long-standing gap in coverage of possible new physics signatures. Results are consistent with the background prediction. This search provides unique sensitivity to long-lived scalar supersymmetric lepton partners (sleptons). For lifetimes of 0.1 ns, selectron, smuon, and stau masses up to 720, 680, and 340 GeV, respectively, are excluded at 95% confidence level, drastically improving on the previous best limits from LEP.

Abstract
Intervertebral disc degeneration (IVDD) is one of the leading causes of low back pain and one of the most common health problems in the world. The nucleotide-binding oligomerization domain-like receptor family pyrin domain-containing-3 (NLRP3) inflammasome, as a pattern recognition receptor, has been shown to be associated with the pathological processes of many diseases in recent years. With the exploration of the mechanism of IVDD, recent studies have shown that activation of the NLRP3 inflammasome is associated with intervertebral disc (IVD) inflammation, pyroptosis, extracellular matrix degradation and apoptosis of IVD cells. In this review, we summarize the structural characteristics of NLRP3 inflammasome and the activation signalling mechanisms. We also describe the role of the NLRP3 inflammasome in the pathological process of IVDD and the application of the targeting the NLRP3 inflammasome in IVDD treatment.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE To develop a promising approach for tumor immunotherapy with G250 antigen-based DNA vaccine and to investigate its anti-tumor response in mice with renal cell carcinoma. MATERIALS AND METHODS G250 derived from human, monkey and mouse were prepared by PCR. The heterogeneous chimeric G250 gene was obtained by integrating different gene fragments of three species. Then, the chimeric G250 was inserted into a eukaryotic expression plasmid pVAX1-IRES-GM/B7 to obtain DNA vaccine (named pVAX1-tG250-GM/B7) which could express chimeric G250 antigen and immune adjuvants simultaneously. By transfecting into Cos7 cells, the expression of chimeric G250 antigen was tested using flow cytometry and immunofluorescence assay. The immunological response and protection against tumor were evaluated in vivo. RESULTS Recombinant plasmid DNA vaccine was constructed successfully through identification of PCR and gene sequencing. The chimeric G250 antigen was well expressed in Cos7 cells. A strong immune response can be detected through ELISPOT and ELISA induced by pVAX1-tG250-GM/B7. The mice vaccinated with pVAX1-tG250-GM/B7, balb/c showed significant inhibition of tumor and a longer time of survival compared with control group. CONCLUSIONS The experimental results of this study exhibited that the DNA vaccine based on heterogeneous chimeric antigen can produce efficient anti-tumor effect in vivo and they represent a promising strategy for tumor immunotherapy.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE CSE1L (human chromosomal segregation 1-like) is reported to be able to affect cell apoptosis, invasiveness, and migration. The purpose of this study was to uncover the regulatory effects of CSE1L on cell phenotypes of oral cancer and the underlying mechanism. MATERIALS AND METHODS CSE1L levels in oral cancer cells were determined by quantitative Real Time-Polymerase Chain Reaction (qRT-PCR) and Western blot. CSE1L overexpression and knockdown models were constructed in CAL-27 and HN6 cells, respectively. Changes in proliferative and migratory abilities in oral cancer cells affected by CSE1L and microphthalmia-associated transcription factor (MITF) were assessed by cell counting kit-8 (CCK-8), 5-Ethynyl-2'-deoxyuridine (EdU) and wound healing assay. Meanwhile, potential influences of CSE1L and MITF on relative levels of E-cadherin and Vimentin in oral cancer cells were detected. Finally, regulatory effects of CSE1L and MITF on the Akt/mTOR pathway were evaluated by detecting expression levels of p-Akt, Akt, p-mTOR, and mTOR. RESULTS CSE1L was upregulated in oral cancer cells. Knockdown of CSE1L in HN6 cells attenuated proliferative and migratory abilities, as well as downregulated Vimentin and upregulated E-cadherin. Overexpression of CSE1L in CAL-27 cells yielded the opposite results. MIFT level was positively regulated by CSE1L. Overexpression of MITF partially reversed regulatory effects of CSE1L on proliferative ability of oral cancer cells. Moreover, silence of CSE1L suppressed the Akt/mTOR pathway, which was reversed by overexpression of MITF. CONCLUSIONS CSE1L promotes the proliferative and migratory abilities in oral cancer cells by positively regulating MITF, thus activating the Akt/mTOR pathway.

Abstract
Several extensions of the Standard Model predict the production of dark matter particles at the LHC. An uncharted signature of dark matter particles produced in association with VV=W^{±}W^{∓} or ZZ pairs from a decay of a dark Higgs boson s is searched for using 139 fb^{-1} of pp collisions recorded by the ATLAS detector at a center-of-mass energy of 13 TeV. The s→V(qq[over ¯])V(qq[over ¯]) decays are reconstructed with a novel technique aimed at resolving the dense topology from boosted VV pairs using jets in the calorimeter and tracking information. Dark Higgs scenarios with m_{s}>160 GeV are excluded.

Abstract
The yield of charged particles opposite to a Z boson with large transverse momentum (p_{T}) is measured in 260 pb^{-1} of pp and 1.7 nb^{-1} of Pb+Pb collision data at 5.02 TeV per nucleon pair recorded with the ATLAS detector at the Large Hadron Collider. The Z boson tag is used to select hard-scattered partons with specific kinematics, and to observe how their showers are modified as they propagate through the quark-gluon plasma created in Pb+Pb collisions. Compared with pp collisions, charged-particle yields in Pb+Pb collisions show significant modifications as a function of charged-particle p_{T} in a way that depends on event centrality and Z boson p_{T}. The data are compared with a variety of theoretical calculations and provide new information about the medium-induced energy loss of partons in a p_{T} regime difficult to measure through other channels.

Abstract
The observation of forward proton scattering in association with lepton pairs (e^{+}e^{-}+p or μ^{+}μ^{-}+p) produced via photon fusion is presented. The scattered proton is detected by the ATLAS Forward Proton spectrometer, while the leptons are reconstructed by the central ATLAS detector. Proton-proton collision data recorded in 2017 at a center-of-mass energy of sqrt[s]=13 TeV are analyzed, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 14.6 fb^{-1}. A total of 57 (123) candidates in the ee+p (μμ+p) final state are selected, allowing the background-only hypothesis to be rejected with a significance exceeding 5 standard deviations in each channel. Proton-tagging techniques are introduced for cross-section measurements in the fiducial detector acceptance, corresponding to σ_{ee+p}=11.0±2.6(stat)±1.2(syst)±0.3(lumi) and σ_{μμ+p}=7.2±1.6(stat)±0.9(syst)±0.2(lumi) fb in the dielectron and dimuon channel, respectively.

Abstract
A strain NQ1, which showed efficient asymmetric reduction of 3,5-bis(trifluoromethyl) acetophenone (BTAP) to enantiopure (S)-[3,5-bis(trifluoromethyl)phenyl]ethanol ((S)-BTPE), which is the key intermediate for the synthesis of a receptor antagonist and antidepressant, was isolated from a soil sample. Based on its morphological and internal transcribed spacer sequence, the strain NQ1 was identified to be Rhodotorula mucilaginosa NQ1. Some key reaction parameters involved in the bioreduction catalyzed by whole cells of R. mucilaginosa NQ1 were subsequently optimized, and the optimized conditions for the synthesis of (S)-BTPE were determined to be as follows: 5·0 ml phosphate buffer (200 mmol l-1 , pH 7·0), 80 mmol l-1 of BTAP, 250 g (wet weight) l-1 of resting cell, 35 g l-1 of glucose and a reaction for 18 h at 30°C and 180 rev min-1 . The strain NQ1 exhibited a best yield of 99% and an excellent enantiomeric excess of 99% for the preparation of (S)-BTPE under the above optimal conditions, and could also asymmetrically reduce a variety of bulky prochiral carbonyl compounds to their corresponding optical hydroxyl compound with excellent enantioselectivity. These results indicated that R. mucilaginosa NQ1 had a good capacity to reduce BTAP to its corresponding (S)-BTPE, and might be a new potential biocatalyst for the production of valuable chiral hydroxyl compounds in industry.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE Prox1 is expressed in both lens epithelial cells and fiber cells and is essential for lens fiber cell elongation. This study aimed to explore the molecular mechanisms of how Prox1 mutations influence lens fiber cells development. MATERIALS AND METHODS Comparative transcriptomes analysis of Prox1 conditional knockout (cKO) lens and wild-type (WT) lens were performed using the data GSE69940 downloaded from the Gene Expression Omnibus database. Differentially expressed genes (DEGs) were determined by the R package "edgeR" of Trinity software. GO (Gene Ontology) enrichment analysis and KEGG (Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes databases) enrichment analysis were performed using the cluster Profiler R package. Then, the protein-protein interaction (PPI) network was predicted using Cytoscape, and the Module analysis of the PPI network was analyzed through the Cytoscape MCODE plugin. Moreover, MotifDb package in R was used to predict the transcription factors binding to Prox1 promoter regions. RESULTS In total, 2263 differentially expressed genes were identified between the two groups. GO and KEGG analysis showed that the down-regulated genes were enriched in camera-type eye term, nucleosome assembly, lens fiber cell differentiation, and cell modified and amino acid metabolism. The KEGG pathway of up-regulated genes was associated with lens development, including Hedgehog signaling pathway and MAPK signaling pathway. GO terms of up-regulated DEGs were mainly relevant to bone morphological development, muscle development, and sensory organ morphological development. Next, the PPI network of DEGs was constructed, and 4 modules were analyzed. Moreover, 30 transcription factors were predicted, which are likely to be downstream targets of Prox1 with potential roles in lens development in mice. CONCLUSIONS This study provides insights into the unique transcriptome profile of lens cells in Prox1 conditional knockout mice, which is a valuable resource for further study of mouse lens genomics.

Abstract
Objective: To evaluate the incidence of deeply infiltrating endometriosis (DIE) among patients of pelvic endometriosis confirmed by pathology and to make analysis of its clinical and pathological characteristics. Methods: From January 1, 2018 to December 31, 2018, clinical data of 240 cases of pelvic endometriosis diagnosed by laparoscopy and pathology hospitalized in Peking University First Hospital were analyzed retrospectively for the characteristics of symptoms, pelvic examination and anatomic distribution of endometriosis foci. Results: (1) Among 240 cases of pelvic endometriosis, 94 were diagnosed with DIE with an incidence of 39.2% (94/240); of them the diagnosis were made preoperatively in 44 cases (46.8%, 44/94). (2) Compared with those without DIE, patients with DIE had higher rates of secondary dysmenorrhea [53.2% (50/94) versus 38.4% (56/146), P=0.033], anal pain [43.6% (41/94) versus 28.1% (41/146), P=0.013], dyspareunea [39.4% (37/94) versus 18.5% (27/146), P=0.001] and frequent bowel movement [33.0% (31/94) versus 15.8%(23/146), P=0.002]. (3) Patients with DIE had higher rates of bad movement of uterus [21.3% (20/94) versus 6.8% (10/146), P=0.001], painful nodularity on uterosacral ligaments [26.6% (25/94) versus 6.2% (9/146), P<0.01], painful nodularity of posterior fornix [19.1% (18/94) versus 4.8% (7/146), P<0.01], blue nodule in vaginal wall [6.4% (6/94) versus 0 (0/146), P=0.003] by pelvic examination compared with those without DIE. (4) Ninety-four patients with DIE had a total of 162 nodules, of those 88 (54.3%, 88/162) located in uterosacral ligaments, 14 (8.6%, 14/162) in the rectum, 7 (4.3%, 7/162) in vaginal wall, 6 (3.7%, 6/162) in ureter, 4 in bladder (2.5%, 4/162), 2 (1.2%, 2/162) in Douglas pouch. Forty-three DIE patients (45.7%, 43/94) had more than one nodules. Patients with DIE had concomitant ovarian endometriosis in 69 cases (73.4%, 69/94), with a total of 103 endometrial cysts. (5) Patients with DIE had a higher rate of obliterated Douglas pouch [76.6% (72/94) versus 19.2% (28/146), P<0.01]. Conclusions: More than one third of patients with pelvic endometriosis have concomitant DIE with a lower rate of preoperative diagnosis. Pelvic pains, bad movement of uterus and painful nodulirity around cervix suggest the presence of DIE.
