Abstract
Mice with a loss-of-function mutation in the LAT adaptor (LatY136F) develop an autoimmune and type 2 inflammatory disorder called defective LAT signalosome pathology (DLSP). We analyzed via single-cell omics the trajectory leading to LatY136F DLSP and the underlying CD4+ T cell diversification. T follicular helper cells, CD4+ cytotoxic T cells, activated B cells, and plasma cells were found in LatY136F spleen and lung. Such cell constellation entailed all the cell types causative of human IgG4-related disease (IgG4-RD), an autoimmune and inflammatory condition with LatY136F DLSP-like histopathological manifestations. Most previously described T cell-mediated autoimmune manifestations require persistent TCR input. In contrast, following their first engagement by self-antigens, the autoreactive TCR expressed by LatY136F CD4+ T cells hand over their central role in T cell activation to CD28 costimulatory molecules. As a result, all subsequent LatY136F DLSP manifestations, including the production of autoantibodies, solely rely on CD28 engagement. Our findings elucidate the etiology of the LatY136F DLSP and qualify it as a model of IgG4-RD.

Abstract
A search for a long-lived, heavy neutral lepton (N) in 139 fb^{-1} of sqrt[s]=13 TeV pp collision data collected by the ATLAS detector at the Large Hadron Collider is reported. The N is produced via W→Nμ or W→Ne and decays into two charged leptons and a neutrino, forming a displaced vertex. The N mass is used to discriminate between signal and background. No signal is observed, and limits are set on the squared mixing parameters of the N with the left-handed neutrino states for the N mass range 3 GeV

Global survival trends for brain tumors, by histology: analysis of individual records for 556,237 adults diagnosed in 59 countries during 2000-2014 (CONCORD-3). Neuro Oncol 2023; 25:580-592. Abstract
BACKGROUND Survival is a key metric of the effectiveness of a health system in managing cancer. We set out to provide a comprehensive examination of worldwide variation and trends in survival from brain tumors in adults, by histology. METHODS We analyzed individual data for adults (15-99 years) diagnosed with a brain tumor (ICD-O-3 topography code C71) during 2000-2014, regardless of tumor behavior. Data underwent a 3-phase quality control as part of CONCORD-3. We estimated net survival for 11 histology groups, using the unbiased nonparametric Pohar Perme estimator. RESULTS The study included 556,237 adults. In 2010-2014, the global range in age-standardized 5-year net survival for the most common sub-types was broad: in the range 20%-38% for diffuse and anaplastic astrocytoma, from 4% to 17% for glioblastoma, and between 32% and 69% for oligodendroglioma. For patients with glioblastoma, the largest gains in survival occurred between 2000-2004 and 2005-2009. These improvements were more noticeable among adults diagnosed aged 40-70 years than among younger adults. CONCLUSIONS To the best of our knowledge, this study provides the largest account to date of global trends in population-based survival for brain tumors by histology in adults. We have highlighted remarkable gains in 5-year survival from glioblastoma since 2005, providing large-scale empirical evidence on the uptake of chemoradiation at population level. Worldwide, survival improvements have been extensive, but some countries still lag behind. Our findings may help clinicians involved in national and international tumor pathway boards to promote initiatives aimed at more extensive implementation of clinical guidelines.

Abstract
We report a chelating hydrazone amide as a protecting group for carboxylic acids. Unlike most esters, 2-picolinaldehyde hydrazone amides are stable under acidic or basic hydrolytic conditions. However, hydrazone amides can be easily converted to the corresponding carboxylic acids via Ni-mediated hydrolysis. Orthogonal reactivities of the hydrazone amides and representative protecting groups were verified by control experiments and peptide synthesis, demonstrating that chelating hydrazone amides are highly useful protecting groups.

Abstract
This Letter reports the observation of WWW production and a measurement of its cross section using 139 fb^{-1} of proton-proton collision data recorded at a center-of-mass energy of 13 TeV by the ATLAS detector at the Large Hadron Collider. Events with two same-sign leptons (electrons or muons) and at least two jets, as well as events with three charged leptons, are selected. A multivariate technique is then used to discriminate between signal and background events. Events from WWW production are observed with a significance of 8.0 standard deviations, where the expectation is 5.4 standard deviations. The inclusive WWW production cross section is measured to be 820±100 (stat)±80 (syst) fb, approximately 2.6 standard deviations from the predicted cross section of 511±18 fb calculated at next-to-leading-order QCD and leading-order electroweak accuracy.

Abstract
We exploited traceable gene tagging in primary human T cells to establish the composition and dynamics of seven canonical TCR-induced protein signaling complexes (signalosomes) using affinity purification coupled with mass spectrometry (AP-MS). It unveiled how the LAT adaptor assembles higher-order molecular condensates and revealed that the proximal TCR-signaling network has a high degree of qualitative and quantitative conservation between human CD4+ and CD8+ T cells. Such systems-level conservation also extended across human and mouse T cells and unexpectedly encompassed protein–protein interaction stoichiometry. Independently of evolutionary considerations, our study suggests that a drug targeting the proximal TCR signaling network should behave similarly when applied to human and mouse T cells. However, considering that signaling differences likely exist between the distal TCR-signaling pathway of human and mouse, our fast-track AP-MS approach should be favored to determine the mechanism of action of drugs targeting human T cell activation. An opportunity is illustrated here using an inhibitor of the LCK protein tyrosine kinase as a proof-of-concept.

Abstract
C-type lectin receptors (CLRs) elicit immune responses upon recognition of glycoconjugates present on pathogens and self-components. While Dectin-1 is the best-characterized CLR recognizing β-glucan on pathogens, the endogenous targets of Dectin-1 are not fully understood. Herein, we report that human Dectin-1 is a ligand for CLEC-2, another CLR expressed on platelets. Biochemical analyses revealed that Dectin-1 is a mucin-like protein as its stalk region is highly O-glycosylated. A sialylated core 1 glycan attached to the EDxxT motif of human Dectin-1, which is absent in mouse Dectin-1, provides a ligand moiety for CLEC-2. Strikingly, the expression of human Dectin-1 in mice rescued the lethality and lymphatic defect resulting from a deficiency of Podoplanin, a known CLEC-2 ligand. This finding is the first example of an innate immune receptor also functioning as a physiological ligand to regulate ontogeny upon glycosylation.

Abstract
A search for lepton-flavor-violating Z→eτ and Z→μτ decays with pp collision data recorded by the ATLAS detector at the LHC is presented. This analysis uses 139 fb^{-1} of Run 2 pp collisions at sqrt[s]=13 TeV and is combined with the results of a similar ATLAS search in the final state in which the τ lepton decays hadronically, using the same data set as well as Run 1 data. The addition of leptonically decaying τ leptons significantly improves the sensitivity reach for Z→ℓτ decays. The Z→ℓτ branching fractions are constrained in this analysis to B(Z→eτ)<7.0×10^{-6} and B(Z→μτ)<7.2×10^{-6} at 95% confidence level. The combination with the previously published analyses sets the strongest constraints to date: B(Z→eτ)<5.0×10^{-6} and B(Z→μτ)<6.5×10^{-6} at 95% confidence level.

Abstract
Superparamagnetic iron oxide (SPIO)-enhanced MRI at 1.5 T with fat-suppression sequence is useful for the detection of metastases in sentinel nodes localized by CT lymphography in patients with breast cancer. SPIO-enhanced MRI may offer an alternative to sentinel node biopsy and avoid axillary surgery itself for patients with breast cancer who have negative sentinel nodes on SPIO-enhanced MRI.

Abstract
A search for new phenomena is presented in final states with two leptons and one or no b-tagged jets. The event selection requires the two leptons to have opposite charge, the same flavor (electrons or muons), and a large invariant mass. The analysis is based on the full run-2 proton-proton collision dataset recorded at a center-of-mass energy of sqrt[s]=13 TeV by the ATLAS experiment at the LHC, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 139 fb^{-1}. No significant deviation from the expected background is observed in the data. Inspired by the B-meson decay anomalies, a four-fermion contact interaction between two quarks (b, s) and two leptons (ee or μμ) is used as a benchmark signal model, which is characterized by the energy scale and coupling, Λ and g_{*}, respectively. Contact interactions with Λ/g_{*} lower than 2.0 (2.4) TeV are excluded for electrons (muons) at the 95% confidence level, still far below the value that is favored by the B-meson decay anomalies. Model-independent limits are set as a function of the minimum dilepton invariant mass, which allow the results to be reinterpreted in various signal scenarios.

Abstract
To determine the respective contribution of the LAT transmembrane adaptor and CD5 and CD6 transmembrane receptors to early TCR signal propagation, diversification, and termination, we describe a CRISPR/Cas9-based platform that uses primary mouse T cells and permits establishment of the composition of their LAT, CD5, and CD6 signalosomes in only 4 mo using quantitative mass spectrometry. We confirmed that positive and negative functions can be solely assigned to the LAT and CD5 signalosomes, respectively. In contrast, the TCR-inducible CD6 signalosome comprised both positive (SLP-76, ZAP70, VAV1) and negative (UBASH3A/STS-2) regulators of T cell activation. Moreover, CD6 associated independently of TCR engagement to proteins that support its implication in inflammatory pathologies necessitating T cell transendothelial migration. The multifaceted role of CD6 unveiled here accounts for past difficulties in classifying it as a coinhibitor or costimulator. Congruent with our identification of UBASH3A within the CD6 signalosome and the view that CD6 constitutes a promising target for autoimmune disease treatment, single-nucleotide polymorphisms associated with human autoimmune diseases have been found in the Cd6 and Ubash3a genes.

Abstract
A search for charged leptons with large impact parameters using 139 fb^{-1} of sqrt[s]=13 TeV pp collision data from the ATLAS detector at the LHC is presented, addressing a long-standing gap in coverage of possible new physics signatures. Results are consistent with the background prediction. This search provides unique sensitivity to long-lived scalar supersymmetric lepton partners (sleptons). For lifetimes of 0.1 ns, selectron, smuon, and stau masses up to 720, 680, and 340 GeV, respectively, are excluded at 95% confidence level, drastically improving on the previous best limits from LEP.

Abstract
211At, an α-particle emitter, has recently attracted attention for radioimmunotherapy of intractable cancers. However, our sodium dodecyl sulfate polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis and flow cytometry analyses revealed that 211At-labeled immunoconjugates are easily disrupted. Luminol assay revealed that reactive oxygen species generated from radiolysis of water caused the disruption of 211At-labeled immunoconjugates. To retain their functions, we explored methods to protect 211At-immunoconjugates from oxidation and enhance their stability. Among several other reducing agents, sodium ascorbate most safely and successfully protected 211At-labeled trastuzumab from oxidative stress and retained the stability of the 211At-labeled antibody and its cytotoxicity against antigen-expressing cells for several days.

Abstract
Mast cells (MCs) are present in various organs including the skin, peritoneal cavity, lung, and intestine and involved in the development of allergic diseases and host defense against infection. However, the regulatory mechanism of mast cell activation remains incompletely understood. We found in a database that Clec12b encoding a C-type lectin receptor Clec12b is preferentially expressed in skin MCs in mice. However, neither MCs in other tissues such as trachea, tongue, esophagus, or peritoneal cavity nor most lymphocytes and myeloid cells express Clec12b. To analyze the protein expression of Clec12b, we newly generated a monoclonal antibody (named TX109), which recognizes both mouse and human Clec12b. Consistent with the gene expression profile, flow cytometry analysis demonstrated that Clec12b is expressed only on MCs in the skin, but not on any other immune cell types in various tissues, in mice. Similarly, Clec12b is also expressed on skin MCs, but not on circulating lymphocytes and myeloid cells, in humans. Our results suggest that Clec12b plays an important role in the regulation of MCs activation in the skin.

Abstract
Tissue factor (TF), the trigger protein of the extrinsic blood coagulation cascade, is abundantly expressed in various cancers including gastric cancer. Anti-TF monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) capable of targeting cancers have been successfully applied to armed antibodies such as antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs) and molecular imaging probes. We prepared an anti-TF mAb, clone 1084, labeled with astatine-211 (211 At), as a promising alpha emitter for cancer treatment. Alpha particles are characterized by high linear energy transfer and a range of 50-100 µm in tissue. Therefore, selective and efficient tumor accumulation of alpha emitters results in potent antitumor activities against cancer cells with minor effects on normal cells adjacent to the tumor. Although the 211 At-conjugated clone 1084 (211 At-anti-TF mAb) was disrupted by an 211 At-induced radiochemical reaction, we demonstrated that astatinated anti-TF mAbs eluted in 0.6% or 1.2% sodium ascorbate (SA) solution were protected from antibody denaturation, which contributed to the maintenance of cellular binding activities and cytocidal effects of this immunoconjugate. Although body weight loss was observed in mice administered a 1.2% SA solution, the loss was transient and the radioprotectant seemed to be tolerable in vivo. In a high TF-expressing gastric cancer xenograft model, 211 At-anti-TF mAb in 1.2% SA exerted a significantly greater antitumor effect than nonprotected 211 At-anti-TF mAb. Moreover, the antitumor activities of the protected immunoconjugate in gastric cancer xenograft models were dependent on the level of TF in cancer cells. These findings suggest the clinical availability of the radioprotectant and applicability of clone 1084 to 211 At-radioimmunotherapy.

Abstract
The first measurement of longitudinal decorrelations of harmonic flow amplitudes v_{n} for n=2-4 in Xe+Xe collisions at sqrt[s_{NN}]=5.44 TeV is obtained using 3 μb^{-1} of data with the ATLAS detector at the LHC. The decorrelation signal for v_{3} and v_{4} is found to be nearly independent of collision centrality and transverse momentum (p_{T}) requirements on final-state particles, but for v_{2} a strong centrality and p_{T} dependence is seen. When compared with the results from Pb+Pb collisions at sqrt[s_{NN}]=5.02 TeV, the longitudinal decorrelation signal in midcentral Xe+Xe collisions is found to be larger for v_{2}, but smaller for v_{3}. Current hydrodynamic models reproduce the ratios of the v_{n} measured in Xe+Xe collisions to those in Pb+Pb collisions but fail to describe the magnitudes and trends of the ratios of longitudinal flow decorrelations between Xe+Xe and Pb+Pb. The results on the system-size dependence provide new insights and an important lever arm to separate effects of the longitudinal structure of the initial state from other early and late time effects in heavy-ion collisions.

Abstract
Several extensions of the Standard Model predict the production of dark matter particles at the LHC. An uncharted signature of dark matter particles produced in association with VV=W^{±}W^{∓} or ZZ pairs from a decay of a dark Higgs boson s is searched for using 139 fb^{-1} of pp collisions recorded by the ATLAS detector at a center-of-mass energy of 13 TeV. The s→V(qq[over ¯])V(qq[over ¯]) decays are reconstructed with a novel technique aimed at resolving the dense topology from boosted VV pairs using jets in the calorimeter and tracking information. Dark Higgs scenarios with m_{s}>160 GeV are excluded.

Abstract
The yield of charged particles opposite to a Z boson with large transverse momentum (p_{T}) is measured in 260 pb^{-1} of pp and 1.7 nb^{-1} of Pb+Pb collision data at 5.02 TeV per nucleon pair recorded with the ATLAS detector at the Large Hadron Collider. The Z boson tag is used to select hard-scattered partons with specific kinematics, and to observe how their showers are modified as they propagate through the quark-gluon plasma created in Pb+Pb collisions. Compared with pp collisions, charged-particle yields in Pb+Pb collisions show significant modifications as a function of charged-particle p_{T} in a way that depends on event centrality and Z boson p_{T}. The data are compared with a variety of theoretical calculations and provide new information about the medium-induced energy loss of partons in a p_{T} regime difficult to measure through other channels.

Abstract
Maturation of human-induced pluripotent stem cells (hiPSCs)-derived hepatocytes-like cells (HLCs) toward a complete hepatocyte phenotype remains a challenge as primitiveness patterns are still commonly observed. In this study, we propose a modified differentiation protocol for those cells which includes a prematuration in Petri dishes and a maturation in microfluidic biochip. For the first time, a large range of biomolecular families has been extracted from the same sample to combine transcriptomic, proteomic, and metabolomic analysis. After integration, these datasets revealed specific molecular patterns and highlighted the hepatic regeneration profile in biochips. Overall, biochips exhibited processes of cell proliferation and inflammation (via TGFB1) coupled with anti-fibrotic signaling (via angiotensin 1-7, ATR-2, and MASR). Moreover, cultures in this condition displayed physiological lipid-carbohydrate homeostasis (notably via PPAR, cholesterol metabolism, and bile synthesis) coupled with cell respiration through advanced oxidative phosphorylation (through the overexpression of proteins from the third and fourth complex). The results presented provide an original overview of the complex mechanisms involved in liver regeneration using an advanced in vitro organ-on-chip technology.

Abstract
The observation of forward proton scattering in association with lepton pairs (e^{+}e^{-}+p or μ^{+}μ^{-}+p) produced via photon fusion is presented. The scattered proton is detected by the ATLAS Forward Proton spectrometer, while the leptons are reconstructed by the central ATLAS detector. Proton-proton collision data recorded in 2017 at a center-of-mass energy of sqrt[s]=13 TeV are analyzed, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 14.6 fb^{-1}. A total of 57 (123) candidates in the ee+p (μμ+p) final state are selected, allowing the background-only hypothesis to be rejected with a significance exceeding 5 standard deviations in each channel. Proton-tagging techniques are introduced for cross-section measurements in the fiducial detector acceptance, corresponding to σ_{ee+p}=11.0±2.6(stat)±1.2(syst)±0.3(lumi) and σ_{μμ+p}=7.2±1.6(stat)±0.9(syst)±0.2(lumi) fb in the dielectron and dimuon channel, respectively.

Abstract
This Letter presents a search for the production of new heavy resonances decaying into a Higgs boson and a photon using proton-proton collision data at sqrt[s]=13 TeV collected by the ATLAS detector at the LHC. The data correspond to an integrated luminosity of 139 fb^{-1}. The analysis is performed by reconstructing hadronically decaying Higgs boson (H→bb[over ¯]) candidates as single large-radius jets. A novel algorithm using information about the jet constituents in the center-of-mass frame of the jet is implemented to identify the two b quarks in the single jet. No significant excess of events is observed above the expected background. Upper limits are set on the production cross-section times branching fraction for narrow spin-1 resonances decaying into a Higgs boson and a photon in the resonance mass range from 0.7 to 4 TeV, cross-section times branching fractions are excluded between 11.6 fb and 0.11 fb at a 95% confidence level.

Abstract
A search for Higgs boson decays into a Z boson and a light resonance in two-lepton plus jet events is performed, using a pp collision dataset with an integrated luminosity of 139 fb^{-1} collected at sqrt[s]=13 TeV by the ATLAS experiment at the CERN LHC. The resonance considered is a light boson with a mass below 4 GeV from a possible extended scalar sector or a charmonium state. Multivariate discriminants are used for the event selection and for evaluating the mass of the light resonance. No excess of events above the expected background is found. Observed (expected) 95% confidence-level upper limits are set on the Higgs boson production cross section times branching fraction to a Z boson and the signal resonance, with values in the range 17-340 pb (16_{-5}^{+6}-320_{-90}^{+130} pb) for the different light spin-0 boson mass and branching fraction hypotheses, and with values of 110 and 100 pb (100_{-30}^{+40} and 100_{-30}^{+40} pb) for the η_{c} and J/ψ hypotheses, respectively.

Abstract
This Letter describes a search for narrowly resonant new physics using a machine-learning anomaly detection procedure that does not rely on signal simulations for developing the analysis selection. Weakly supervised learning is used to train classifiers directly on data to enhance potential signals. The targeted topology is dijet events and the features used for machine learning are the masses of the two jets. The resulting analysis is essentially a three-dimensional search A→BC, for m_{A}∼O(TeV), m_{B},m_{C}∼O(100 GeV) and B, C are reconstructed as large-radius jets, without paying a penalty associated with a large trials factor in the scan of the masses of the two jets. The full run 2 sqrt[s]=13 TeV pp collision dataset of 139 fb^{-1} recorded by the ATLAS detector at the Large Hadron Collider is used for the search. There is no significant evidence of a localized excess in the dijet invariant mass spectrum between 1.8 and 8.2 TeV. Cross-section limits for narrow-width A, B, and C particles vary with m_{A}, m_{B}, and m_{C}. For example, when m_{A}=3 TeV and m_{B}≳200 GeV, a production cross section between 1 and 5 fb is excluded at 95% confidence level, depending on m_{C}. For certain masses, these limits are up to 10 times more sensitive than those obtained by the inclusive dijet search. These results are complementary to the dedicated searches for the case that B and C are standard model bosons.

Abstract
It has been well-known that tissue factor (TF), the trigger protein of the extrinsic blood coagulation cascade, is overexpressed in various cancers including gastric cancer, pancreatic cancer and malignant gliomas. So far, we produced anti-TF monoclonal antibodies for targeting overexpressed TF in tumor site. Moreover, among them, we found that the clone 1084 possessed deep penetration property leading to more homogenous distribution in tumor than others.
Currently, we are focusing on developing clone 1084 antibody armed with alpha emitters for cancer treatment, because alpha-particles are characterized by higher liner energy transfer (LET) and shorter range in tissue than other types of radiation, resulting in efficient deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) double-strand breaks in cancer cells and minor effects on normal cells adjacent to tumor.
In this study, we synthesized astatine-211, one of the most promising alpha-particle emitters, in the 209Bi(α,2n)211At reaction using the RIKEN Azimuthally Varying Field (AVF) cyclotron and labeled humanized clone 1084 with this radionuclide. First, we chemically attached a linker containing organic tin compound to the antibody and then labeled the liker-antibody complex with astatine-211 via a halogen-exchange reaction. Thin-layer chromatography (TLC) and sodium dodecyl sulfate-polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis (SDS-PAGE) studies showed that we successfully labeled the antibody with astatine-211 and purified the radioactive antibody.
We evaluated binding activity and in vitro cytocidal effect of the radioactive antibody by flow cytometry and water-soluble tetrazolium salt (WST-8) assay, respectively. The radioactive antibody specifically bound to TF expressed on cell membrane of gastric cancer cells and showed potent cell killing activity depending on TF expression of the cancer cells. Single photon emission computed tomography/computed tomography (SPECT/CT) study revealed that astatine-211 alone selectively accumulated in stomach and thyroid such as radioactive iodine. On the other hand, radioactive antibody showed similar pharmacokinetics to the naked 1084 antibody. Moreover, we confirmed in vivo anti-tumor effects of the radioactive antibody in a TF-overexpressing gastric cancer xenograft model.
In conclusion, we successfully created astatine-211-conjugated anti-TF antibody and confirmed its anti-tumor effects.

Abstract
A study of the charge conjugation and parity (CP) properties of the interaction between the Higgs boson and top quarks is presented. Higgs bosons are identified via the diphoton decay channel (H→γγ), and their production in association with a top quark pair (tt[over ¯]H) or single top quark (tH) is studied. The analysis uses 139 fb^{-1} of proton-proton collision data recorded at a center-of-mass energy of sqrt[s]=13 TeV with the ATLAS detector at the Large Hadron Collider. Assuming a CP-even coupling, the tt[over ¯]H process is observed with a significance of 5.2 standard deviations. The measured cross section times H→γγ branching ratio is 1.64_{-0.36}^{+0.38}(stat)_{-0.14}^{+0.17}(sys) fb, and the measured rate for tt[over ¯]H is 1.43_{-0.31}^{+0.33}(stat)_{-0.15}^{+0.21}(sys) times the Standard Model expectation. The tH production process is not observed and an upper limit on its rate of 12 times the Standard Model expectation is set. A CP-mixing angle greater (less) than 43 (-43)° is excluded at 95% confidence level.

Abstract
A search for heavy neutral Higgs bosons is performed using the LHC Run 2 data, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 139 fb^{-1} of proton-proton collisions at sqrt[s]=13 TeV recorded with the ATLAS detector. The search for heavy resonances is performed over the mass range 0.2-2.5 TeV for the τ^{+}τ^{-} decay with at least one τ-lepton decaying into final states with hadrons. The data are in good agreement with the background prediction of the standard model. In the M_{h}^{125} scenario of the minimal supersymmetric standard model, values of tanβ>8 and tanβ>21 are excluded at the 95% confidence level for neutral Higgs boson masses of 1.0 and 1.5 TeV, respectively, where tanβ is the ratio of the vacuum expectation values of the two Higgs doublets.

Abstract
T-cell receptor (TCR) ligation-mediated protein phosphorylation regulates the activation, cellular responses, and fates of T cells. Here, we used time-resolved high-resolution phosphoproteomics to identify, quantify, and characterize the phosphorylation dynamics of thousands of phosphorylation sites in primary T cells during the first 10 min after TCR stimulation. Bioinformatic analysis of the data revealed a coherent orchestration of biological processes underlying T-cell activation. In particular, functional modules associated with cytoskeletal remodeling, transcription, translation, and metabolic processes were mobilized within seconds after TCR engagement. Among proteins whose phosphorylation was regulated by TCR stimulation, we demonstrated, using a fast-track gene inactivation approach in primary lymphocytes, that the ITSN2 adaptor protein regulated T-cell effector functions. This resource, called LymphoAtlas, represents an integrated pipeline to further decipher the organization of the signaling network encoding T-cell activation. Abstract
The prevalence of hadronic jets at the LHC requires that a deep understanding of jet formation and structure is achieved in order to reach the highest levels of experimental and theoretical precision. There have been many measurements of jet substructure at the LHC and previous colliders, but the targeted observables mix physical effects from various origins. Based on a recent proposal to factorize physical effects, this Letter presents a double-differential cross-section measurement of the Lund jet plane using 139 fb^{-1} of sqrt[s]=13 TeV proton-proton collision data collected with the ATLAS detector using jets with transverse momentum above 675 GeV. The measurement uses charged particles to achieve a fine angular resolution and is corrected for acceptance and detector effects. Several parton shower Monte Carlo models are compared with the data. No single model is found to be in agreement with the measured data across the entire plane.

Abstract
Paclitaxel has been considered to cause OATP1B-mediated drug-drug interactions at therapeutic doses; however, its clinical relevance has not been demonstrated. This study aimed to elucidate in vivo inhibition potency of paclitaxel against OATP1B1 and OATP1B3 using endogenous OATP1B biomarkers. Paclitaxel is an inhibitor of OATP1B1 and OATP1B3, with Ki of 0.579 ± 0.107 and 5.29 ± 3.87 μM, respectively. Preincubation potentiated its inhibitory effect on both OATP1B1 and OATP1B3, with Ki of 0.154 ± 0.031 and 0.624 ± 0.183 μM, respectively. Ten patients with non-small cell lung cancer who received 200 mg/m2 of paclitaxel by a 3-hour infusion were recruited. Plasma concentrations of 10 endogenous OATP1B biomarkers-namely, coproporphyrin I, coproporphyrin III, glycochenodeoxycholate-3-sulfate, glycochenodeoxycholate-3-glucuronide, glycodeoxycholate-3-sulfate, glycodeoxycholate-3-glucuronide, lithocholate-3-sulfate, glycolithocholate-3-sulfate, taurolithocholate-3-sulfate, and chenodeoxycholate-24-glucuronide-were determined in the patients with non-small cell lung cancer on the day before paclitaxel administration and after the end of paclitaxel infusion for 7 hours. Paclitaxel increased the area under the plasma concentration-time curve (AUC) of the endogenous biomarkers 2- to 4-fold, although a few patients did not show any increment in the AUC ratios of lithocholate-3-sulfate, glycolithocholate-3-sulfate, and taurolithocholate-3-sulfate. Therapeutic doses of paclitaxel for the treatment of non-small cell lung cancer (200 mg/m2) will cause significant OATP1B1 inhibition during and at the end of the infusion. This is the first demonstration that endogenous OATP1B biomarkers could serve as surrogate biomarkers in patients. SIGNIFICANCE STATEMENT: Endogenous biomarkers can address practical and ethical issues in elucidating transporter-mediated drug-drug interaction (DDI) risks of anticancer drugs clinically. We could elucidate a significant increment of the plasma concentrations of endogenous OATP1B biomarkers after a 3-hour infusion (200 mg/m2) of paclitaxel, a time-dependent inhibitor of OATP1B, in patients with non-small cell lung cancer. The endogenous OATP1B biomarkers are useful to assess the possibility of OATP1B-mediated DDIs in patients and help in appropriately designing a dosing schedule to avoid the DDIs.

Abstract
The elliptic flow of muons from the decay of charm and bottom hadrons is measured in pp collisions at sqrt[s]=13 TeV using a data sample with an integrated luminosity of 150 pb^{-1} recorded by the ATLAS detector at the LHC. The muons from heavy-flavor decay are separated from light-hadron decay muons using momentum imbalance between the tracking and muon spectrometers. The heavy-flavor decay muons are further separated into those from charm decay and those from bottom decay using the distance-of-closest-approach to the collision vertex. The measurement is performed for muons in the transverse momentum range 4-7 GeV and pseudorapidity range |η|<2.4. A significant nonzero elliptic anisotropy coefficient v_{2} is observed for muons from charm decays, while the v_{2} value for muons from bottom decays is consistent with zero within uncertainties.

Abstract
A search for magnetic monopoles and high-electric-charge objects is presented using 34.4 fb^{-1} of 13 TeV pp collision data collected by the ATLAS detector at the LHC during 2015 and 2016. The considered signature is based upon high ionization in the transition radiation tracker of the inner detector associated with a pencil-shape energy deposit in the electromagnetic calorimeter. The data were collected by a dedicated trigger based on the tracker high-threshold hit capability. The results are interpreted in models of Drell-Yan pair production of stable particles with two spin hypotheses (0 and 1/2) and masses ranging from 200 to 4000 GeV. The search improves by approximately a factor of 5 the constraints on the direct production of magnetic monopoles carrying one or two Dirac magnetic charges and stable objects with electric charge in the range 20≤|z|≤60 and extends the charge range to 60<|z|≤100.

Abstract
To address the most appropriate endogenous biomarker for drug–drug interaction risk assessment, eight healthy subjects received an organic anion transporting polypeptide 1B (OATP1B) inhibitor (rifampicin, 150, 300, and 600 mg), and a probe drug cocktail (atorvastatin, pitavastatin, rosuvastatin, and valsartan). In addition to coproporphyrin I, a widely studied OATP1B biomarker, we identified at least 4 out of 28 compounds (direct bilirubin, glycochenodeoxycholate‐3‐glucuronide, glycochenodeoxycholate‐3‐sulfate, and hexadecanedioate) that presented good sensitivity and dynamic range in terms of the rifampicin dose‐dependent change in area under the plasma concentration‐time curve ratio (AUCR). Their suitability as OATP1B biomarkers was also supported by the good correlation of AUC0‐24h between the endogenous compounds and the probe drugs, and by nonlinear regression analysis (AUCR−1 vs. rifampicin plasma Cmax (maximum total concentration in plasma)) to yield an estimate of the inhibition constant of rifampicin. These endogenous substrates can complement existing OATP1B‐mediated drug–drug interaction risk assessment approaches based on agency guidelines in early clinical trials.

Abstract
We report expanded porphyrins with pyridine rings and two neighboring carbonyl groups, which allow NiII ions to coordinate to the tripyrrinone-type NNNO coordination structure with Ni-O bonds. The selectivity of tripyrrinone is superior to other pyrrolic or pyridinic cavities of expanded porphyrins. Introduction of α-carbonyl pyridine next to the tripyrrolic conjugated structure is a powerful strategy for regioselective metalation of flexible expanded porphyrinoids.

Abstract
This Letter presents the observation and measurement of electroweak production of a same-sign W boson pair in association with two jets using 36.1 fb^{-1} of proton-proton collision data recorded at a center-of-mass energy of sqrt[s]=13 TeV by the ATLAS detector at the Large Hadron Collider. The analysis is performed in the detector fiducial phase-space region, defined by the presence of two same-sign leptons, electron or muon, and at least two jets with a large invariant mass and rapidity difference. A total of 122 candidate events are observed for a background expectation of 69±7 events, corresponding to an observed signal significance of 6.5 standard deviations. The measured fiducial signal cross section is σ^{fid}=2.89_{-0.48}^{+0.51}(stat)_{-0.28}^{+0.29}(syst) fb.

Background
Although transplantation of human Adipose-derived Mesenchymal stem cell (hADSC) shows efficacy in the treatment of ischemic cardiomyopathy, its therapeutic mechanisms have not been fully elucidated. It has been already reported that mitochondria transfer to recipient cells have impact on resistance to injury and tissue regeneration, however this phenomenon has not been elucidated in the damaged heart. Therefore, we hypothesized that ADSC transfer own mitochondria to cardiomyocytes in-vivo and in-vitro under ischemic condition, resulting in the functional recovery of cardiomyocyte.
Method and result
Transplantation of hADSC (group A) to the heart surface or sham operation (group C) was performed in rats that were subjected to LAD ligation 2 weeks prior to the treatment (n=10 each). The number of transplant cell was 1x106/body. Three days after transplantation, transferred hADSCs' mitochondria were observed in recipient cardiomyocytes histologically (Figure). Quantitative PCR analysis revealed that mitochondrial genome of recipient myocytes increased over time. The cardiac function assessed with echocardiography was significantly better in group A. Furthermore, live-imaging of hADSC transplantation revealed the suspected transfer of mitochondria to beating heart.
In-vitro, the co-culture of rat cardiomyocytes (rCM) and hADSC was observed with time-lapse photography and demonstrated mitochondrial transfer under the hypoxic condition. The measuring the oxygen consumption rate (OCR) of these cells showed that OCR of rCM was reinforced by co-culture with hADSC conspicuously.

Mitochondrial transfer from hADSC to rCM was suggested in-vivo and in-vitro ischemic condition and suspected to be related to functional recovery of ischemic cardiomyocyte.

Abstract
This Letter describes the observation of the light-by-light scattering process, γγ→γγ, in Pb+Pb collisions at sqrt[s_{NN}]=5.02 TeV. The analysis is conducted using a data sample corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 1.73 nb^{-1}, collected in November 2018 by the ATLAS experiment at the LHC. Light-by-light scattering candidates are selected in events with two photons produced exclusively, each with transverse energy E_{T}^{γ}>3 GeV and pseudorapidity |η_{γ}|<2.4, diphoton invariant mass above 6 GeV, and small diphoton transverse momentum and acoplanarity. After applying all selection criteria, 59 candidate events are observed for a background expectation of 12±3 events. The observed excess of events over the expected background has a significance of 8.2 standard deviations. The measured fiducial cross section is 78±13(stat)±7(syst)±3(lumi) nb.

Abstract
Charged-particle fragmentation functions for jets azimuthally balanced by a high-transverse-momentum, prompt, isolated photon are measured in 25 pb^{-1} of pp and 0.49 nb^{-1} of Pb+Pb collision data at 5.02 TeV per nucleon pair recorded with the ATLAS detector at the Large Hadron Collider. The measurements are compared to predictions of Monte Carlo generators and to measurements of inclusively selected jets. In pp collisions, a different jet fragmentation function in photon-tagged events from that in inclusive jet events arises from the difference in fragmentation between light quarks and gluons. The ratios of the fragmentation functions in Pb+Pb events to that in pp events are used to explore the parton color-charge dependence of jet quenching in the hot medium. In relatively peripheral collisions, fragmentation functions exhibit a similar modification pattern for photon-tagged and inclusive jets. However, photon-tagged jets are observed to have larger modifications than inclusive jets in central Pb+Pb events.

Abstract
Dark matter particles, if sufficiently light, may be produced in decays of the Higgs boson. This Letter presents a statistical combination of searches for H→invisible decays where H is produced according to the standard model via vector boson fusion, Z(ℓℓ)H, and W/Z(had)H, all performed with the ATLAS detector using 36.1 fb^{-1} of pp collisions at a center-of-mass energy of sqrt[s]=13 TeV at the LHC. In combination with the results at sqrt[s]=7 and 8 TeV, an exclusion limit on the H→invisible branching ratio of 0.26(0.17_{-0.05}^{+0.07}) at 95% confidence level is observed (expected).

Abstract
This Letter presents a search for the production of a long-lived neutral particle (Z_{d}) decaying within the ATLAS hadronic calorimeter, in association with a standard model (SM) Z boson produced via an intermediate scalar boson, where Z→ℓ^{+}ℓ^{-} (ℓ=e, μ). The data used were collected by the ATLAS detector during 2015 and 2016 pp collisions with a center-of-mass energy of sqrt[s]=13 TeV at the Large Hadron Collider and correspond to an integrated luminosity of 36.1±0.8 fb^{-1}. No significant excess of events is observed above the expected background. Limits on the production cross section of the scalar boson times its decay branching fraction into the long-lived neutral particle are derived as a function of the mass of the intermediate scalar boson, the mass of the long-lived neutral particle, and its cτ from a few centimeters to one hundred meters. In the case that the intermediate scalar boson is the SM Higgs boson, its decay branching fraction to a long-lived neutral particle with a cτ approximately between 0.1 and 7 m is excluded with a 95% confidence level up to 10% for m_{Z_{d}} between 5 and 15 GeV.
