Anlotinib induces neuronal-like differentiation of neuroblastoma by downregulating CRMP5. Mol Carcinog 2024. Abstract
The therapeutic effect of anlotinib on neuroblastoma is still not fully understood. This study aims to explore the differentiation therapeutic effects of anlotinib on neuroblastoma and its potential association with the neural development regulatory protein collapsin response mediator protein 5 (CRMP5), both in vivo and in vitro. A patient-derived xenograft (PDX) model was established to observe the therapeutic effect of anlotinib. Neuroblastoma cell lines SK-N-SH and SK-N-AS were cultured to observe the morphological impact of anlotinib. Transwell assay was used to evaluate the cell invasion, and Western blot analysis and immunohistochemistry were employed to detect the expressions of neuronal differentiation-related proteins. Results indicate that anlotinib effectively inhibited tumor growth in the PDX model, modulated the expressions of neuronal differentiation markers. In vitro, anlotinib treatment induced neurite outgrowth in neuroblastoma cells and inhibited their invasive ability, reflecting a change in neuronal marker expression patterns consistent with the PDX model. Similarly, in the SK-N-AS mouse xenograft model, anlotinib demonstrated comparable tumor-suppressing effects and promoted neuronal-like differentiation. Additionally, anlotinib significantly downregulated CRMP5 expression in neuroblastoma both in vivo and in vitro. Overexpression of CRMP5 significantly reversed the differentiation therapy effect of anlotinib, exacerbating the aggressiveness and reducing the differentiation level of neuroblastoma. These findings highlight the potential of anlotinib as an anti-neuroblastoma agent. It may suppress tumor proliferation and invasion by promoting the differentiation of tumor cells towards a neuronal-like state, and this differentiation therapy effect involves the inhibition of CRMP5 signaling.

Abstract
Background Chemokines and chemokine receptors (CCRs) are involved in a variety of anti-tumour and pro-tumour immune processes in vivo, such as angiogenesis, metastasis, proliferation and invasiveness, and influence patient prognosis and response to therapy. Methods CCRs differentially expressed in HCC and associated with prognosis were extracted from TCGA and GEO databases, and the obtained CCRs were then used to construct signature genes, and the signature gene were selected for expression validation as well as functional experiments to explore the role of CCRs in the treatment and prognosis of HCC. Results We constructed a prognostic model including five CCRs (CCL20, CCL23, CCR3, CCR10, and CXCR3) and validated the expression of signature genes. The model's risk score is an independent prognostic factor for HCC. We have also developed prognostic model nomograms for clinical use. In addition, we validated that CCR3 expression is associated with poor prognosis in HCC, and the proliferation and migration ability of HCC cells was significantly inhibited after interfering with the expression of CCR3 in MHCC-LM3. We also looked at differences in pathway enrichment, immune infiltration and immune checkpoints. Finally, we found that risk scores were also correlated with drug sensitivity, the high-risk group had a better sensitivity to sorafenib. Conclusion The CCRs-related gene signature may better assess HCC prognosis and response to immunotherapy and tyrosine kinase inhibitors such as sorafenib in HCC, providing prospective solutions for diagnosis and treatment.

Abstract
In this study, we explored the therapeutic potential of everolimus, an mTOR inhibitor, in a patient-derived xenograft (PDX) of rhabdomyosarcoma, the most prevalent malignant pediatric sarcoma. In addition, rhabdoid tumor cell line A-204 and Ewings sarcoma cell line A-673 were cultured to assess the in vitro effect of everolimus. Furthermore, the cell-derived xenograft (CDX) of A-673 was established and treated with everolimus in vivo. IHC and Western blotting were performed to detect the expressions of pertinent proteins. Results showed that everolimus intervention had limited inhibitory effect on PDX tumor growth compared with cyclophosphamide. Nevertheless, everolimus treatment significantly influenced the phosphorylation levels of S6 kinase beta 1 (S6K1) and eIF4E-binding protein 1 (p-4E-BP1), resulting in the inhibition of angiogenesis in vitro and in vivo. Interestingly, everolimus led to an upregulation in the level of IL17A in sarcoma cells. Notably, when secukinumab, a mAb of IL17A, was combined with everolimus, it synergistically enhanced the inhibitory effect of everolimus on sarcoma cell proliferation in vitro and on the growth of PDX or CDX xenograft tumors in vivo. Importantly, this combination therapy did not affect the mTOR signaling. These results indicate that everolimus exerts an antipediatric sarcoma effect by inhibiting mTOR signal. However, everolimus induces sarcoma cells to produce IL17A, which promotes tumor cell survival and counteracts its antipediatric sarcoma effect. The combination of secukinumab effectively eliminates the effects of IL17A, thereby improving the therapeutic efficacy of everolimus in the context of pediatric sarcomas.

Abstract
Dyes contaminating the sewages have seriously threatened the living beings and their separation from wastewater in terms of potential resource recovery is of high value. Herein, both of metal node doping and ligand group grafting were taken into account to enhance the adsorption selectivity of Fe-MOFs towards cationic dyes. The positive correlation between copper doping amount and selective coefficient (∂MOMB) for methylene blue (MB) over methyl orange (MO) within a certain range was mainly attributed to the increased surface negative charges via partial replacement of Fe(III) with Cu(II). Moreover, the amount of surface negative charges was further increased after amino functionalization and there was a synergism between Cu(II) and -NH2 in selectivity enhancement. As a result, Fe0.6Cu0.4-BDC-NH2 exhibited a 22.5-times increase in ∂MOMB and other cationic dyes including malachite green (MG) and rhodamine B (Rh. B) could also be selectively separated from binary and quaternary mixed dye systems. Moreover, Fe0.6Cu0.4-BDC-NH2 showed many superiorities like a wide pH range of 4.0-8.0, strong anti-interference ability over various inorganic ions, good recyclability, and stability. The adsorption kinetics and isotherm suggested that the MB adsorption process was a homogeneous single-layer chemisorption. Additionally, the thermodynamics manifested that the overall process was exothermic and spontaneous. According to the FT-IR and XPS spectra analysis, the electrostatic interaction and hydrogen bonding were determined as the main driving forces, and π-π interaction also contributed to the adsorption process.

Abstract
Pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) is one of the most lethal human malignancies. Uncontrolled cell proliferation, invasion and migration of pancreatic cancer cells are the fundamental causes of death in PDAC patients. Our previous studies showed that KLF9 inhibits the proliferation, invasion and migration of pancreatic cancer cells. However, the underlying mechanisms are not fully understood. In this study, we found that platelet-activating factor acetylhydrolase IB3 (PAFAH1B3) is highly expressed in pancreatic cancer tissues and cells. In vitro and in vivo studies showed that overexpression of PAFAH1B3 promoted the proliferation and invasion of pancreatic cancer cells, while downregulation of PAFAH1B3 inhibited these processes. We found that KLF9 expression is negatively correlated with PAFAH1B3 expression in pancreatic cancer tissues and cells. Western blotting revealed that KLF9 negatively regulates the expression of PAFAH1B3 in pancreatic cancer tissues and cells. Rescue experiments showed that overexpression of PAFAH1B3 could partially attenuate the suppression of pancreatic cancer cell proliferation, invasion and migration induced by KLF9 overexpression. Finally, chromatin immunoprecipitation (ChIP) and dual-luciferase reporter assays were carried out, and the results showed that KLF9 directly binds to the promoter of PAFAH1B3 and inhibits its transcriptional activity. In conclusion, our study indicated that KLF9 can inhibit the proliferation, invasion, migration and metastasis of pancreatic cancer cells by inhibiting PAFAH1B3.

Abstract
Fe-enriched biochar has proven to be effective in reducing Cd uptake in rice plants by enhancing iron plaque formation. However, the effect of Fe on biochar, especially the biochar with high S content, for Cd immobilization in rice rhizosphere was not fully understood. To obtain eco-friendly Fe-loaded biochar at a low cost, garlic straw, bean straw, and rape straw were chosen as the feedstocks for Fe-enhanced biochar production by co-pyrolysis with Fe2O3. The resulting biochars and Fe-loaded biochars were GBC, BBC, BRE, GBC-Fe, BBC-Fe, and BRE-Fe, respectively. XRD and FTIR analyses showed that Fe was successfully loaded onto the biochar. The pristine and Fe-containing biochars were applied at rates of 0% (BC0) and 0.1% in pot experiments. Results suggested that BBC-Fe caused the highest reduction in Cd content of rice grain, and the reductions were 67.9% and 31.4%, compared with BC0 and BBC, respectively. Compared to BBC, BBC-Fe effectively reduced Cd uptake in rice roots by 47.5%. The exchangeable and acid-soluble fraction of Cd (F1-Cd) in soil with BBC-Fe treatment was 37.6% and 63.7% lower than that of BC0 and BBC, respectively. Compared to BC0, soil pH was increased by 0.53 units with BBC-Fe treatment. BBC-Fe significantly increased Fe oxides (free Fe oxides, amorphous Fe oxides, and complex Fe oxides) content in the soil as well. DGT study demonstrated that BBC-Fe could enhance the mobility of sulfate in the rhizosphere, which might be beneficial for Cd fixation in the rhizosphere. Moreover, BBC-Fe increased the relative abundance of Bacteroidota, Firmicutes, and Clostridia, which might be beneficial for Cd immobilization in the rhizosphere. This work highlights the synergistic effect of loaded Fe and biochar on Cd immobilization by enhancing Cd deposited with Fe oxides.

Abstract
BACKGROUND The incidence of preserved ejection fraction heart failure has significantly increased in persons with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM). Left ventricular (LV) diastolic dysfunction is an early and important manifestation of preserved ejection fraction heart failure. The onset of heart failure in persons with diabetes is associated with diabetic neuropathy. However, the relationship among sudomotor function, which is an early manifestation of small fiber neuropathy, and LV diastolic function remains unclear. This study aimed to explore the association between sudomotor function and LV diastolic function in persons with T2DM. METHODS In total, 699 persons with T2DM were enrolled and divided into three groups according to electrochemical skin conductance (ESC) assessed using the SUDOSCAN device: "no dysfunction" group (NSF), "moderate dysfunction" group (MDF), and "severe dysfunction" group (SDF). LV diastolic function was assessed using Doppler echocardiography. To evaluate the relationship between ESC and echocardiographic parameters, Pearson's correlation analysis was performed. Additionally, logistic regression analysis was used to determine the association between LV diastolic function and ESC. A receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve was constructed to evaluate the performance of sudomotor function indicators in detecting impaired cardiac diastolic function. RESULTS There were 301 persons (43.06%) in the NSF group, 232 (33.19%) in the MDF group, and 166 (23.75%) in the SDF group. Compared to the NSF group, the MDF and SDF groups had higher A and E/e' and lower e' values (all p < 0.05). Pearson's correlation analysis showed that A and E/e' were negatively associated with foot ESC (FESC) and hand ESC (HESC), whereas e' was positively associated with FESC and HESC (all p < 0.05). After adjusting for confounding factors, binary logistic regression analysis showed that ESC was independently associated with impaired LV diastolic function (p = 0.003). The area under the ROC curve values for FESC and HESC were 0.621 and 0.635, respectively (both p < 0.05). CONCLUSIONS Deteriorating sudomotor function was associated with reduced diastolic function indicators. ESC can be used as a biomarker for detecting LV diastolic impairment.

Abstract
This Letter presents the first study of Higgs boson production in association with a vector boson (V=W or Z) in the fully hadronic qqbb final state using data recorded by the ATLAS detector at the LHC in proton-proton collisions at sqrt[s]=13 TeV and corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 137 fb^{-1}. The vector bosons and Higgs bosons are each reconstructed as large-radius jets and tagged using jet substructure techniques. Dedicated tagging algorithms exploiting b-tagging properties are used to identify jets consistent with Higgs bosons decaying into bb[over ¯]. Dominant backgrounds from multijet production are determined directly from the data, and a likelihood fit to the jet mass distribution of Higgs boson candidates is used to extract the number of signal events. The VH production cross section is measured inclusively and differentially in several ranges of Higgs boson transverse momentum: 250-450, 450-650, and greater than 650 GeV. The inclusive signal yield relative to the standard model expectation is observed to be μ=1.4_{-0.9}^{+1.0} and the corresponding cross section is 3.1±1.3(stat)_{-1.4}^{+1.8}(syst) pb.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Temporal interference (TI) stimulation, an innovative non-invasive brain stimulation technique, has the potential to activate neurons in deep brain regions. The objective of this study was to evaluate the effects of repetitive TI stimulation targeting the lower limb motor control area (i.e., the M1 leg area) on lower limb motor function in healthy individuals, which could provide evidence for further translational application of non-invasive deep brain stimulation. METHODS In this randomized, double-blinded, parallel-controlled trial, 46 healthy male adults were randomly divided into the TI or sham group. The TI group received 2 mA (peak-to-peak) TI stimulation targeting the M1 leg area with a 20 Hz frequency difference (2 kHz and 2.02 kHz). Stimulation parameters of the sham group were consistent with those of the TI group but the current input lasted only 1 min (30 s ramp-up and ramp-down). Both groups received stimulation twice daily for five consecutive days. The vertical jump test (countermovement jump [CMJ], squat jump [SJ], and continuous jump [CJ]) and Y-balance test were performed before and after the total intervention session. Two-way repeated measures ANOVA (group × time) was performed to evaluate the effects of TI stimulation on lower limb motor function. RESULTS Forty participants completed all scheduled study visits. Two-way repeated measures ANOVA showed significant group × time interaction effects for CMJ height (F = 8.858, p = 0.005) and SJ height (F = 6.523, p = 0.015). The interaction effect of the average CJ height of the first 15 s was marginally significant (F = 3.550, p = 0.067). However, there was no significant interaction effect on the Y balance (p > 0.05). Further within-group comparisons showed a significant post-intervention increase in the height of the CMJ (p = 0.004), SJ (p = 0.010) and the average CJ height of the first 15 s (p = 0.004) in the TI group. CONCLUSION Repetitive TI stimulation targeting the lower limb motor control area effectively increased vertical jump height in healthy adult males but had no significant effect on dynamic postural stability.

Abstract
ATLAS measured the centrality dependence of the dijet yield using 165 nb^{-1} of p+Pb data collected at sqrt[s_{NN}]=8.16 TeV in 2016. The event centrality, which reflects the p+Pb impact parameter, is characterized by the total transverse energy registered in the Pb-going side of the forward calorimeter. The central-to-peripheral ratio of the scaled dijet yields, R_{CP}, is evaluated, and the results are presented as a function of variables that reflect the kinematics of the initial hard parton scattering process. The R_{CP} shows a scaling with the Bjorken x of the parton originating from the proton, x_{p}, while no such trend is observed as a function of x_{Pb}. This analysis provides unique input to understanding the role of small proton spatial configurations in p+Pb collisions by covering parton momentum fractions from the valence region down to x_{p}∼10^{-3} and x_{Pb}∼4×10^{-4}.

Abstract
Searches for new resonances are performed using an unsupervised anomaly-detection technique. Events with at least one electron or muon are selected from 140 fb^{-1} of pp collisions at sqrt[s]=13 TeV recorded by ATLAS at the Large Hadron Collider. The approach involves training an autoencoder on data, and subsequently defining anomalous regions based on the reconstruction loss of the decoder. Studies focus on nine invariant mass spectra that contain pairs of objects consisting of one light jet or b jet and either one lepton (e,μ), photon, or second light jet or b jet in the anomalous regions. No significant deviations from the background hypotheses are observed. Limits on contributions from generic Gaussian signals with various widths of the resonance mass are obtained for nine invariant masses in the anomalous regions.

Abstract
Objective: To investigate the prognostic value of the Second Revision of the International Staging System (R2-ISS) in patients with newly diagnosed multiple myeloma (NDMM) . Methods: The retrospective study was performed in 326 NDMM patients with immunomodulatory drugs and/or proteasome inhibitors as the first-line treatment attending the Department of Hematology, Nanjing Drum Tower Hospital Clinical College of Nanjing Medical University, Nanjing, China, from December 2012 to March 2022. The Kaplan-Meier method was used for the survival analysis, with the Log-rank test comparing the between-group differences and Cox proportional risk regression modeling A multifactorial analysis was performed. Results: ①326 patients were included in the study, 190 of whom were males. The median age was 63 years, and the median followup time was 37 months. R2-ISS can effectively predict prognosis, particularly for R-ISS Ⅱ patients. The median progression-free survival (PFS) time of R2-ISS Ⅰ, R2-ISS Ⅱ, R2-ISS Ⅲ, and R2-ISS Ⅳ was 52, 29, 20, and 15 months (P<0.001), while the median overall survival (OS) time was 91, 60, 44, and 36 months (P<0.001). Multifactor analysis revealed that ISS Ⅱ, ISS Ⅲ, del (17p), t (4;14), 1q+, LDH increased, and age >65 years old were independent negative prognostic factors for OS. ISS Ⅱ, ISS Ⅲ, del (17p), t (4;14), 1q+, and LDH were independent negative prognostic factors for PFS. ②The C-index score of R2-ISS was 0.724, higher than that of R-ISS (0.678), indicating high prediction efficiency. ③The median PFS for 1q+-related double-hit in R2-ISS Ⅲ and Ⅳ were 20, 15 months (P=0.084) and the median OS were 35, 36 months (P=0.786), respectively. In R2-ISS Ⅲ, there were twenty-seven cases of 1q+-related double-hit, sixty-one cases of 1q+ single abnormality, and sixty-eight cases with no 1q+. The median PFS for the three groups were 20, 18, and 21 months (P=0.974), while the median OS was 35, 47, and 56 months (P=0.042), respectively. Adjusting the assignment of 1q+ to 1, the median PFS and OS of different R2-ISS stages differed significantly after regrouping (P<0.001) . Conclusions: The prognostic stratification value of R2-ISS is higher than R-ISS, particularly in the highly heterogeneous R-ISS Ⅱ population. Adjusting the assignment of the 1q+-related double-hit can improve R2-ISS, which should be validated in future studies with multi-center and expanded cases.

Abstract
Everolimus, a known inhibitor of the mammalian target of rapamycin (mTOR), has shown uncertain efficacy in treating hepatoblastoma. This study delves into the potential anti-hepatoblastoma properties of everolimus and its intricate relationship with autophagy and ferroptosis, both in vitro and in vivo. In vivo, tumor tissue from hepatoblastoma patient and human hepatoblastoma cell line HuH-6 were xenografted into nude mice to establish xenograft models for observing the effect of everolimus on tumor growth. In vitro, HuH-6 cells were cultured to evaluate the anti-hepatoblastoma activity of everolimus. Transmission electron microscopy and microtubule-associated proteins 1 light chain 3 (LC3), beclin 1, and p62 protein expressions were employed to investigate autophagy. Additionally, indicators of cell apoptosis, reactive oxygen species (ROS) and proteins associated with ferroptosis were measured to evaluate ferroptosis. The results demonstrate that everolimus treatment effectively induced the formation of autophagosomes in hepatoblastoma cells, upregulated the LC3II/I ratio and beclin 1 expression, and downregulated p62 expression, indicating an enhanced autophagy level both in vitro and in vivo. Furthermore, everolimus treatment induced cell apoptosis, increased ROS level, elevated concentrations of malondialdehyde, 4-hydroxynonenal, and iron content, while reducing the ratio of glutathione/oxidized glutathione, and downregulating the protein expression of glutathione peroxidase 4 and solute carrier family 7 member 11, suggesting its ability to induce ferroptosis in hepatoblastoma cells. Importantly, the induction of ferroptosis by everolimus was significantly reversed in the presence of autophinib, an autophagy inhibitor, indicating the autophagy-dependent of everolimus-induced ferroptosis. Taken together, these findings suggest that everolimus holds promise as an effective anti-hepatoblastoma drug, with its mechanism of action potentially involving the induction of autophagy-dependent ferroptosis in hepatoblastoma cells.

Abstract
Transformation, fragmentation, dissolution, and oxidation of biochar are inevitable in the environment, which will undoubtedly accelerate the release of biochar-derived dissolved organic matter (BDOM) into various water bodies. In addition, biochar may affect disinfection by-products (DBPs) during water treatment and subsequent disinfection. In this study, biochars were derived at three selected pyrolysis temperatures (350 °C, 500 °C, and 650 °C) from rice husk, wheat straw, and shrimp shell, and BDOM was extracted from biochar-derived in artificial seawater and ultrapure water. The TOC analyzer results showed that the concentrations of three BDOM decreased with increasing pyrolysis temperature. The BDOM derived from rice husk biochar and wheat straw biochar in seawater was lower than that in ultrapure water, while that of shrimp shell biochar showed an opposite trend, being released in seawater at nearly twice the extent of that in ultrapure water at 350 °C. Moreover, BDOM showed a catalytic effect on chlorination, and GC analysis showed that the concentrations of its DBPs were affected by pH. The concentration of halogenated acetic acid reached the highest value (54.51 μg/L) in weak acidic environment, while the concentrations of trihalomethane and halogenated acetonitrile had the highest values (23.63 and 47.53 μg/L, respectively) in alkaline conditions. The concentrations of all the three DBPs were lowest under neutral pH conditions. In addition, the volatile halogenated DBPs such as dichloroacetone and trichloroacetone were easily hydrolyzed under alkaline conditions. Therefore, it is something be aware of the release of BDOM and the effects of chlorination DBPs when biochar is used for water treatment or water purification.

Abstract
This Letter reports the observation of WZγ production and a measurement of its cross section using 140.1±1.2 fb^{-1} of proton-proton collision data recorded at a center-of-mass energy of 13 TeV by the ATLAS detector at the Large Hadron Collider. The WZγ production cross section, with both the W and Z bosons decaying leptonically, pp→WZγ→ℓ^{'}^{±}νℓ^{+}ℓ^{-}γ (ℓ^{(^{'})}=e, μ), is measured in a fiducial phase-space region defined such that the leptons and the photon have high transverse momentum and the photon is isolated. The cross section is found to be 2.01±0.30(stat)±0.16(syst) fb. The corresponding standard model predicted cross section calculated at next-to-leading order in perturbative quantum chromodynamics and at leading order in the electroweak coupling constant is 1.50±0.06 fb. The observed significance of the WZγ signal is 6.3σ, compared with an expected significance of 5.0σ.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Long sedentary time and physical inactivity are negatively related to cognition, but the cut-off value remains unclear, and apolipoprotein E polymorphism ε4 (APOE ε4) is a known genetic risk factor of mild cognitive impairment (MCI). OBJECTIVES To explore longitudinal association of sedentary time and MCI, and to identify a cutoff value that increases the risk of developing MCI, taking into account APOE ε4 stratification and its interactions. DESIGN A prospective cohort study. SETTING Population-based study. PARTICIPANTS We included 4932 older adults from Tianjin Elderly Nutrition and Cognition (TENC) cohort study recruited from March 2018 to June 2021 with 3.11 years of median follow-up time. MEASUREMENTS The primary outcome was newly diagnosed MCI, which was diagnosed by a modified version of the Petersen's criteria. The information of sedentary time (hours/day) and physical activity (MET-h/week) were obtained by questionnaire. Cox proportional hazard regression models and restricted spline curve were conducted. RESULTS A total of 4932 participants were included (mean [SD] age, 67.85 [4.96] years; 2627 female [53.3%] and 2305 male [46.7%]), 740 newly onset MCI patients were identified. Longer sedentary time was associated with higher risk of MCI for all participants (HR:1.069, 95%CI: 1.034, 1.105), especially in APOE ε4 non-carriers (HR:1.083, 95%CI: 1.045, 1.123) whether adjusted potential confounders. Sedentary time had synergistic interactions with APOE ε4 (β:1.503, 95%CI: 1.163, 1.942) and physical activities (β: 1.495, 95%CI: 1.210, 1.846). Restricted spline curve showed a cut-off value of 3.03 hours/day. CONCLUSIONS Long sedentary time (≥3.03 hours/day) could increase MCI risk, especially in APOE ε4 non-carriers, people with higher PA, aged 65 and above.

Abstract
A measurement of the mass of the Higgs boson combining the H→ZZ^{*}→4ℓ and H→γγ decay channels is presented. The result is based on 140 fb^{-1} of proton-proton collision data collected by the ATLAS detector during LHC run 2 at a center-of-mass energy of 13 TeV combined with the run 1 ATLAS mass measurement, performed at center-of-mass energies of 7 and 8 TeV, yielding a Higgs boson mass of 125.11±0.09(stat)±0.06(syst)=125.11±0.11 GeV. This corresponds to a 0.09% precision achieved on this fundamental parameter of the Standard Model of particle physics.

Abstract
A search for events with a dark photon produced in association with a dark Higgs boson via rare decays of the standard model Z boson is presented, using 139 fb^{-1} of sqrt[s]=13 TeV proton-proton collision data recorded by the ATLAS detector at the Large Hadron Collider. The dark boson decays into a pair of dark photons, and at least two of the three dark photons must each decay into a pair of electrons or muons, resulting in at least two same-flavor opposite-charge lepton pairs in the final state. The data are found to be consistent with the background prediction, and upper limits are set on the dark photon's coupling to the dark Higgs boson times the kinetic mixing between the standard model photon and the dark photon, α_{D}ϵ^{2}, in the dark photon mass range of [5, 40] GeV except for the ϒ mass window [8.8, 11.1] GeV. This search explores new parameter space not previously excluded by other experiments.

Abstract
The development of preeclampsia (PE) is associated with the impaired trophoblast motility. MicroRNAs (miRs) contribute to the modulation of trophoblast invasion. In the current study, the role of miR-206/AGTR1 in the TNF-alpha-induced invasion defect of trophoblasts was explored. The levels of miR-206 and ATGR1 in clinical placenta tissues were investigated. Trophoblasts were treated with TNF-alpha, and the levels of miR-206 and ATGR1 were modulated. Changes in cell viability, invasion, and inflammation in trophoblasts were detected. The level of miR-206 was induced, while the level of AGTR1 was suppressed in placenta tissues. In in vitro assays, TNF-alpha suppressed viability, induced inflammatory response, inhibited invasion, upregulated miR-206, and down-regulated AGTR1. The inhibited expression of miR-206 or the overexpression of AGTR1 counteracted the effects of TNF-alpha, indicating the key role of the miR-206/AGTR1 in progression of PE. Collectively, miR-206 suppressed viability, induced inflammatory response, and decreased invasion of trophoblasts by inhibiting AGTR1.

Abstract
This study used machine learning techniques combined with routine blood cell analysis parameters to build preliminary prediction models, helping differentiate patients with depression from healthy controls, or patients with anxiety. A multicenter study was performed by collecting blood cell analysis data of Beijing Chaoyang Hospital and the First Hospital of Hebei Medical University from 2020 to 2021. Machine learning techniques, including support vector machine, decision tree, naïve Bayes, random forest and multi-layer perceptron were explored to establish a prediction model of depression. The results showed that based on the blood cell analysis results of healthy controls and depression group, the accuracy of prediction model reached as high as 0.99, F1 was 0.975. Receiver operating characteristic curve area and average accuracy were 0.985 and 0.967, respectively. Platelet parameters contributed mostly to depression prediction model. While, to random forest differential diagnosis model based on the data from depression and anxiety groups, prediction accuracy reached 0.68 and AUC 0.622. Age, platelet parameters, and average volume of red blood cells contributed the most to the model. In conclusion, the study researched on the prediction model of depression by exploring blood cell analysis parameters, revealing that machine learning models were more objective in the evaluation of mental illness.

Abstract
This Letter reports the observation of single top quarks produced together with a photon, which directly probes the electroweak coupling of the top quark. The analysis uses 139 fb^{-1} of 13 TeV proton-proton collision data collected with the ATLAS detector at the Large Hadron Collider. Requiring a photon with transverse momentum larger than 20 GeV and within the detector acceptance, the fiducial cross section is measured to be 688±23(stat) _{-71}^{+75}(syst) fb, to be compared with the standard model prediction of 515_{-42}^{+36} fb at next-to-leading order in QCD.

Abstract
A key open question in the study of multiparticle production in high-energy pp collisions is the relationship between the "ridge"-i.e., the observed azimuthal correlations between particles in the underlying event that extend over all rapidities-and hard or semihard scattering processes. In particular, it is not known whether jets or their soft fragments are correlated with particles in the underlying event. To address this question, two-particle correlations are measured in pp collisions at sqrt[s]=13 TeV using data collected by the ATLAS experiment at the LHC, with an integrated luminosity of 15.8 pb^{-1}, in two different configurations. In the first case, charged particles associated with jets are excluded from the correlation analysis, while in the second case, correlations are measured between particles within jets and charged particles from the underlying event. Second-order flow coefficients, v_{2}, are presented as a function of event multiplicity and transverse momentum. These measurements show that excluding particles associated with jets does not affect the measured correlations. Moreover, particles associated with jets do not exhibit any significant azimuthal correlations with the underlying event, ruling out hard processes contributing to the ridge.

Abstract
A search is made for potential ccc[over ¯]c[over ¯] tetraquarks decaying into a pair of charmonium states in the four muon final state using proton-proton collision data at sqrt[s]=13 TeV, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 140 fb^{-1} recorded by the ATLAS experiment at LHC. Two decay channels, J/ψ+J/ψ→4μ and J/ψ+ψ(2S)→4μ, are studied. Backgrounds are estimated based on a hybrid approach involving Monte Carlo simulations and data-driven methods. Statistically significant excesses with respect to backgrounds dominated by the single parton scattering are seen in the di-J/ψ channel consistent with a narrow resonance at 6.9 GeV and a broader structure at lower mass. A statistically significant excess is also seen in the J/ψ+ψ(2S) channel. The fitted masses and decay widths of the structures are reported.

Abstract
This Letter reports the observation of τ-lepton-pair production in ultraperipheral lead-lead collisions Pb+Pb→Pb(γγ→ττ)Pb and constraints on the τ-lepton anomalous magnetic moment a_{τ}. The dataset corresponds to an integrated luminosity of 1.44 nb^{-1} of LHC Pb+Pb collisions at sqrt[s_{NN}]=5.02 TeV recorded by the ATLAS experiment in 2018. Selected events contain one muon from a τ-lepton decay, an electron or charged-particle track(s) from the other τ-lepton decay, little additional central-detector activity, and no forward neutrons. The γγ→ττ process is observed in Pb+Pb collisions with a significance exceeding 5 standard deviations and a signal strength of μ_{ττ}=1.03_{-0.05}^{+0.06} assuming the standard model value for a_{τ}. To measure a_{τ}, a template fit to the muon transverse-momentum distribution from τ-lepton candidates is performed, using a dimuon (γγ→μμ) control sample to constrain systematic uncertainties. The observed 95% confidence-level interval for a_{τ} is -0.057

Abstract
AIM To predict progression within 6 months after chimeric antigen receptor-modified (CAR) T-cell therapy for relapsed/refractory (R/R) B-cell non-Hodgkin's lymphoma (B-NHL) patients by radiomic indexes derived from contrast-enhanced computed tomography (CECT) examinations. MATERIALS AND METHODS Seventy R/R B-NHL patients who underwent CECT before treatment with CAR T-cells were examined retrospectively. In total, 297 volumes of interest for lesions were segmented from CECT images. Patients without and with disease progression were assigned to groups 1 and 2, respectively. Radiomic and combined predictive models were constructed by three machine-learning algorithms using features from the training set, respectively. Furthermore, predictive models were constructed based on multi-lesion-based and largest-lesion-based radiomic features, respectively. RESULTS In the test set, no marked differences were observed between the areas under the curves (AUCs) of the combined and radiomic models for all three machine-learning algorithms (all p>0.05). Differences in machine-learning algorithms did not significantly affect the predictive performances of the models. Radiomics and combined models constructed with multi-lesion-based radiomic features showed better predictive performances than those applying largest-lesion-based radiomic features (all p<0.05 for comparisons between combined models). CONCLUSION CECT-based radiomic features may be applied to predict disease progression in R/R B-NHL patients within 6 months after CAR T-cell treatment, and radiomic features from multiple lesions may have better predictive efficacy. Different machine-learning algorithms may not show significant differences in prediction performance.

PURPOSE/OBJECTIVE(S) This study aimed to determine the relationship between tumor regression grading (TRG) and lymph node regression grading (LRG) after neoadjuvant chemoradiotherapy (nCRT) for locally advanced rectal cancer (LARC). MATERIALS/METHODS The study was a retrospective analysis of the clinical data of LARC patients who underwent preoperative nCRT at one institution. A total of 101 rectal cancer patients who received nCRT and underwent total rectal mesenteric excision (TME) were included. Pathologists independently assessed the pathological response of the primary tumor and lymph nodes (LN) to nCRT using TRG and LRG, respectively. The highest LRG score for each patient was defined as LRGmax, and LRGsum was the overall tumor burden of all LNs in the specimen. RESULTS The study included 101 LARC patients who underwent nCRT and TME. The patient population consisted of 65 males and 36 females with an average age of 54.86 years (range 20-81 years), of which 68 were aged 60 years or younger and 33 were older than 60. The radiotherapy treatment plan consisted of 1.8-2Gy per dose, administered 5 times per week for a total dose of 45-50.4Gy, along with oral capecitabine chemotherapy (825 mg/m2, bid) on the day of radiation therapy. The chemotherapy treatment plan included XELOX, mFOLFOX6, and FOLFOX4. The cTNM stage of the tumor before surgery was cT2 in 2 cases, cT3 in 63 cases, and cT4 in 36 cases. Eight cases were cN0 and 93 were cN+. After surgery, the ypTNM stage was T0 in 19 cases, T1 in 4 cases, T2 in 27 cases, T3 in 45 cases, and T4 in 6 cases. The N stage was N0 in 76 cases, N1 in 20 cases, and N2 in 5 cases. TRG was 0 in 17 cases (16.8%), 1 in 15 cases (14.9%), 2 in 61 cases (60.4%), and 3 in 8 cases (7.9%). LRGmax scores were 0 in 66 cases (65.3%), 1 in 17 cases (16.8%), 2 in 5 cases (5.0%), 3 in 3 cases (3.0%), 4 in 5 cases (5.0%), and 5 in 5 cases (5.0%). LRGsum scores were ≤3 in 85 cases (84.2%), 4-9 in 11 cases (10.9%), and ≥10 in 5 cases (5.0%). Correlation analysis showed that LRGmax was significantly correlated with TRG, ypT, and ypN (P = 0.038, P = 0.015, P < 0.01), with correlation coefficients of 0.184, 0.212, and 0.626, respectively. There was no significant correlation between LRGmax and cT and cN+. Similarly, LRGsum was significantly correlated with TRG, ypT, and ypN (P = 0.022, P = 0.002, P < 0.01) with correlation coefficients of 0.212, 0.276, and 0.707, respectively. There was no significant correlation between LRGsum and cT and cN. The results of our study indicate a significant correlation between LRG and TRG (P = 0.022). Additionally, LRG was found to be positively correlated with the ypT and ypN stages of the primary tumor and lymph nodes post-surgery, with correlation coefficients of 0.276 and 0.707, respectively (P = 0.002 and P<0.01). No significant correlations were observed between LRG and cT and cN+ stages. CONCLUSION Our findings demonstrate a significant association between LRG and TRG, as well as a positive correlation between LRG and the ypT and ypN stages of the primary tumor and lymph nodes following surgery.

Abstract
PURPOSE/OBJECTIVE(S) For patients with stage III epithelial ovarian cancer, there are limited studies on the effects of postoperative adjuvant radiotherapy (RT) after standard cytoreductive surgery (CRS) and full treatment of first-line adjuvant chemotherapy (CT). The aims of our study were to assess the therapeutic efficacy and toxicity of our special postoperative radiotherapy to abdominal and pelvic lymphatic drainage area for stage III epithelial ovarian cancer patients. MATERIALS/METHODS We retrospectively collected patients with stage III epithelial ovarian cancer after CRS and full-course adjuvant chemotherapy. The CT+RT group patients were treated with intensity modulated radiotherapy (IMRT) to abdominal and pelvic lymphatic drainage area (which has been shown to be an alternative to whole abdominal radiotherapy (WART) both on the basis of clinical result and dosimetric verification from our prior study). The CT group data was obtained from the PUMCH's electronic medical record analytical database between 2010 and 2020. A propensity score matching analysis was performed 1:2 between CT+RT group and CT group. RESULTS A total of 132 patients with median follow-up of 73.9 months (9.1-137.7 months) were included (44 and 88 for the CT+RT and CT groups, retrospectively). The baseline characteristics of age, histology, level of CA12-5, surgical staging, residual tumor, courses of adjuvant CT, and courses to reduce CA12-5 to normal were all balanced. The median disease-free survival (DFS) time, 5-year overall survival (OS), and local recurrence free survival (LRFS) of CT+RT group and CT group were 100.0 months versus 25.9 months (p = 0.020), 69.2% versus 49.9% (p = 0.002), 85.9% versus 50.5% (p = 0.020), respectively. Distant metastasis was still the primary reason (57.6%), and local failure rate was 42.3%, the local recurrence rate was significantly lower in CT+RT group, compared with CT group (13.6% versus 45.5%, p = 0.016). In terms of toxicity, CT+RT group mainly presented with acute hematological toxicities, with no statistically significant difference with CT group when compared with grade III intestinal adverse effects (3/44 versus 6/88, p = 0.480). CONCLUSION This report demonstrates that long-term disease-free survival could be achieved in stage III epithelial ovarian cancer patients treated with IMRT preventive radiation to abdominal and pelvic lymphatic area. Compared with CT group, DFS and OS were significantly prolonged and adverse effects were acceptable.

Abstract
Propargylamines are an important and valuable family of nitrogen-containing compounds with many applications in the fields of medical, industrial, and chemical processes. One-pot multicomponent A3 coupling reactions of aldehydes, amines, and alkynes in the presence of transition metals as catalysts is an efficient strategy for preparing propargylamines. In this study, we fabricated a novel magnetically reusable copper nanocatalyst [Fe3O4-BIm-Pyrim-CuI] through the immobilization of the copper(i) complex on the surface of the magnetic nanoparticles modified with benzimidazole-pyrimidine ligand and evaluated its catalytic activity in the preparation of propargylamines through one-pot multicomponent A3 coupling reactions of aldehydes, amines, and alkynes. Under this catalytic system, aryl substrates with both electron-donating and electron-withdrawing substituents also gave the desired products in excellent yields under standardized conditions. The Fe3O4-BIm-Pyrim-CuI catalyst was easily separated using an external magnet, and the recovered catalyst was reused in 8 cycles without significant loss of activity.

[Analysis of factors influencing the success rate of organoid culture in 1231 cases of colorectal cancer]. Abstract
Objective: To investigate the risk factors for organoid culture failure in colorectal cancer. Methods: This was a retrospective observational study. Tumor specimens were obtained from 1130 patients with colorectal cancer who had undergone surgery or biopsy and had no other concurrent malignancies at Nanfang Hospital of Southern Medical University from December 2021 to November 2022. Organoid culture was performed on 1231 tumor tissue samples. Univariate analysis and multivariate logistic regression were used to analyze the factors that might have influenced the rate of successful organoid culture of colorectal cancer tissue samples. Results: The median (range) duration of organoid culture was 7 (3-12) days. The overall rate of successful culture was 76.3% (939/1231). The rate of successful organoid cultures varied according to the sampling site, malignant ascites having the highest success rate (96.4%, 27/28), followed by liver metastases (83.1%, 54/65), lung metastases (8/10), primary tumors (76.0%, 816/1074), omental metastases (10/14), peritoneal metastases (61.5%, 16/26), ovarian metastases (3/5), and lymph node metastases (5/9). The difference in rates of successful organoid culture between primary tumors and malignant ascites was statistically significant (P=0.012), whereas none of the other rates of successful organoid culture success differed significantly (all P>0.05). The rate of successful organoid culture was 96.4% (27/28) for malignant ascites obtained by abdominal puncture, 76.5% (864/1130) for surgical specimens, and 65.8% (48/73) for endoscopic biopsies; these differences are statistically significant (χ2=10.773, P=0.005). The rate of successful organoid culture was 62.5% (40/64) in the neoadjuvant chemoradiotherapy group, which is significantly lower than in the non-adjuvant (76.9%, 787/1023) and chemotherapy groups (77.8%, 112/144) (χ2=7.134, P=0.028). Multivariate logistic regression analysis revealed that endoscopic biopsy (OR=0.557, 95%CI: 0.335-0.924, P=0.024) and neoadjuvant chemoradiotherapy (OR=0.483, 95%CI: 0.285-0.820, P=0.007) were independent risk factors for failure of organoid culture of colorectal cancer samples. Malignant ascites (OR=8.537, 95%CI:1.154-63.131,P=0.036) and abdominal puncture (OR=8.294, 95% CI: 1.112-61.882, P=0.039) were identified as independent protective factors. Conclusions: The rate of successful organoid culture was influenced by the sampling site, sampling method, and chemoradiotherapy. The rate of successful organoid culture was lower for endoscopic biopsies and in patients receiving preoperative neoadjuvant chemoradiotherapy, and higher for malignant ascites. We consider that culture of malignant ascites is preferable when peritoneal metastases are suspected.

Abstract
Jet quenching is the process of color-charged partons losing energy via interactions with quark-gluon plasma droplets created in heavy-ion collisions. The collective expansion of such droplets is well described by viscous hydrodynamics. Similar evidence of collectivity is consistently observed in smaller collision systems, including pp and p+Pb collisions. In contrast, while jet quenching is observed in Pb+Pb collisions, no evidence has been found in these small systems to date, raising fundamental questions about the nature of the system created in these collisions. The ATLAS experiment at the Large Hadron Collider has measured the yield of charged hadrons correlated with reconstructed jets in 0.36 nb^{-1} of p+Pb and 3.6 pb^{-1} of pp collisions at 5.02 TeV. The yields of charged hadrons with p_{T}^{ch}>0.5 GeV near and opposite in azimuth to jets with p_{T}^{jet}>30 or 60 GeV, and the ratios of these yields between p+Pb and pp collisions, I_{pPb}, are reported. The collision centrality of p+Pb events is categorized by the energy deposited by forward neutrons from the struck nucleus. The I_{pPb} values are consistent with unity within a few percent for hadrons with p_{T}^{ch}>4 GeV at all centralities. These data provide new, strong constraints that preclude almost any parton energy loss in central p+Pb collisions.

Abstract
A search for a long-lived, heavy neutral lepton (N) in 139 fb^{-1} of sqrt[s]=13 TeV pp collision data collected by the ATLAS detector at the Large Hadron Collider is reported. The N is produced via W→Nμ or W→Ne and decays into two charged leptons and a neutrino, forming a displaced vertex. The N mass is used to discriminate between signal and background. No signal is observed, and limits are set on the squared mixing parameters of the N with the left-handed neutrino states for the N mass range 3 GeV

Abstract
A test of CP invariance in Higgs boson production via vector-boson fusion has been performed in the H→γγ channel using 139 fb^{-1} of proton-proton collision data at sqrt[s]=13 TeV collected by the ATLAS detector at the LHC. The optimal observable method is used to probe the CP structure of interactions between the Higgs boson and electroweak gauge bosons, as described by an effective field theory. No sign of CP violation is observed in the data. Constraints are set on the parameters describing the strength of the CP-odd component in the coupling between the Higgs boson and the electroweak gauge bosons in two effective field theory bases: d[over ˜] in the HISZ basis and c_{HW[over ˜]} in the Warsaw basis. The results presented are the most stringent constraints on CP violation in the coupling between Higgs and weak bosons. The 95% C.L. constraint on d[over ˜] is derived for the first time and the 95% C.L. constraint on c_{HW[over ˜]} has been improved by a factor of 5 compared to the previous measurement.

Abstract
Objective: To detect the therapeutic efficacy of FGF21 analogues on the zebrafish model of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease. Methods: A zebrafish model of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease was established by providing the normal diet fed to wild-type zebrafish three times daily. PF-05231023 was administered exogenously at a final concentration of 0.5 μmol/L. Body length, body weight, triglycerides, and other indexes were measured after 20 days. Pathological changes were evaluated in liver tissue sections by HE staining. Quantitative PCR was used to identify expressional changes in genes related to lipid metabolism, endoplasmic reticulum stress, and inflammation. Results: QPCR and immunofluorescence staining results showed that FGF21 was highly expressed in the zebrafish model group. The addition of the FGF21 analogue PF-05231023 significantly reduced the body length and body weight (P < 0.01), and the triglyceride content (P < 0.05) in the zebrafish model group. The liver HE staining results showed that PF-05231023 had alleviated the large and tiny bullae fat, lesions, and others in the zebrafish model group. The quantitative PCR results demonstrated that PF-05231023 reduced the expression of lipogenic factors (P < 0.01), inflammatory-related factors (P < 0.001), and genes related to endoplasmic reticulum stress (P < 0.05), but raised lipid-oxidation-related factors (P < 0.05) in the zebrafish model group. The addition of PF-05231023 reduced oleic acid-induced lipid and triglyceride levels in HepG2 cells. Conclusion: FGF21 analogue addition can improve indexes in the zebrafish disease model of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease.

Abstract
We tested the effects of prolonged voluntary wheel running on the muscle function of mdx mice treated with one of two different microdystrophin constructs. At 7 weeks of age mdx mice were injected with a single dose of AAV9-CK8-microdystrophin with (gene therapy 1, GT1) or without (gene therapy 2, GT2) the nNOS-binding domain and were assigned to one of four gene therapy treated groups: mdxRGT1 (run, GT1), mdxGT1 (no run, GT1), or mdxRGT2 (run,GT2), mdxGT2 (no run, GT2). There were two mdx untreated groups injected with excipient: mdxR (run, no gene therapy) and mdx (no run, no gene therapy). A third no treatment group, Wildtype (WT) received no injection and did not run. mdxRGT1, mdxRGT2 and mdxR performed voluntary wheel running for 52 weeks; WT and remaining mdx groups were cage active. Robust expression of microdystrophin occurred in diaphragm, quadriceps, and heart muscles of all treated mice. Dystrophic muscle pathology was high in diaphragms of non-treated mdx and mdxR mice and improved in all treated groups. Endurance capacity was rescued by both voluntary wheel running and gene therapy alone, but their combination was most beneficial. All treated groups increased in vivo plantarflexor torque over both mdx and mdxR mice. mdx and mdxR mice displayed ∼3-fold lower diaphragm force and power compared to WT values. Treated groups demonstrated partial improvements in diaphragm force and power, with mdxRGT2 mice experiencing the greatest improvement at ∼60% of WT values. Evaluation of oxidative red quadriceps fibers revealed the greatest improvements in mitochondrial respiration in mdxRGT1 mice, reaching WT levels. Interestingly, mdxGT2 mice displayed diaphragm mitochondrial respiration values similar to WT but mdxRGT2 animals showed relative decreases compared to the no run group. Collectively, these data demonstrate that either microdystrophin construct combined with voluntary wheel running increased in vivo maximal muscle strength, power, and endurance. However, these data also highlighted important differences between the two microdystrophin constructs. GT1, with the nNOS-binding site, improved more markers of exercise-driven adaptations in metabolic enzyme activity of limb muscles, while GT2, without the nNOS-binding site, demonstrated greater protection of diaphragm strength after chronic voluntary endurance exercise but decreased mitochondrial respiration in the context of running.

Abstract
PURPOSE Currently there is a lack of effective treatment strategies for malignant superior vena cava syndrome (SVCS). We aim to investigate the therapeutic effect of intra-arterial chemotherapy (IAC) combined with the Single Needle Cone Puncture method for the 125I brachytherapy (SNCP-125I) in treating SVCS caused by stage III/IV Small Cell Lung Cancer (SCLC). MATERIALS AND METHODS Sixty-two patients with SCLC who developed SVCS from January 2014 to October 2020 were investigated in this study. Out of these 62 patients, 32 underwent IAC combined with SNCP-125I (Group A) and 30 patients received IAC treatment only (Group B). Clinical symptom remission, response rate, disease control rate, and overall survival of these two groups of patients were analyzed and compared. RESULTS The remission rate of symptoms including dyspnea, edema, dysphagia, pectoralgia, and cough of malignant SVCS in Group A was significantly higher than that in Group B (70.5 and 50.53%, P=0.0004, respectively). The disease control rates (DCR, PR+CR+SD) of Group A and B were 87.5 and 66.7%, respectively (P=0.049). Response rates (RR, PR+CR) of Group A and Group B were 71.9 and 40% (P=0.011). The median overall survival (OS) of Group A was significantly longer than that in Group B which was 18 months compared to 11.75 months (P=0.0360). CONCLUSIONS IAC treatment effectively treated malignant SVCS in advanced SCLC patients. IAC combined with SNCP-125I in the treatment of malignant SVCS caused by SCLC showed improved clinical outcomes including symptom remission and local tumor control rates than IAC treatment only in treating SCLC-induced malignant SVCS.

Abstract
Objective: To understand the performance of 2019-nCoV nucleic acid detection in screening of contacts of COVID-19 cases in same flights and provide evidence for the effective screening of persons at high risk for the infection in domestic flights. Methods: The information of passengers who took same domestic flights with COVID-19 cases in China from April 1, 2020 to April 30, 2022 were retrospectively collected,and χ2 test was used to analyze positive nucleic acid detection rates in the passengers in different times before the onsets of the index cases, in different seat rows and in epidemic periods of different 2019-nCoV variants. Results: During the study period, a total of 433 index cases were identified among 23 548 passengers in 370 flights. Subsequently, 72 positive cases of 2019-nCoV nucleic acid were detected in the passengers, in whom 57 were accompanying persons of the index cases. Further analysis of the another 15 passengers who tested positive for the nucleic acid showed that 86.67% of them had onsets or positive detections within 3 days after the diagnosis of the index cases, and the boarding times were all within 4 days before the onsets of the index cases. The positive detection rate in the passengers who seated in first three rows before and after the index cases was 0.15% (95%CI: 0.08%-0.27%), significantly higher than in the passengers in other rows (0.04%, 95%CI: 0.02%-0.10%, P=0.007),and there was no significant difference in the positive detection rate among the passengers in each of the 3 rows before and after the index cases (P=0.577). No significant differences were found in the positive detection rate in the passengers, except the accompanying persons, among the epidemics caused by different 2019-nCoV variants (P=0.565). During the Omicron epidemic period, all the positive detections in the passengers, except the accompanying persons, were within 3 days before the onset of the index cases. Conclusions: The screening test of 2019-nCoV nucleic acid can be conducted in the passengers took the same flights within 4 days before the onsets of the index cases on board. Passengers who seated within 3 rows from the index cases can considered as the close contacts at high risk for 2019-nCoV, for whom screening should be conducted first and special managements are needed. The passengers in other rows can be classified as general risk persons for screening and management.

Abstract
Pig manure could be an effective fertilizer source for soil, but with high concentrations of xic elements. It has been shown that the pyrolysis method could largely reduce the environmental risk of pig manure. However, the comprehensive analysis of both toxic metals immobilization effect and environmental risk of pig manure biochar applied as a soil amendment is rarely addressed. To address the knowledge gap, this study was carried out with pig manure (PM) and pig manure biochar (PMB). The PM was pyrolyzed at 450 ℃ and 700 ℃, the corresponding biochar was abbreviated as PMB450 and PMB700, respectively. The PM and PMB were applied in a pot experiment growing Chinese cabbage (Brassica rape L. ssp. Pekinensis) with clay-loam paddy soil. The application rates of PM were set at 0.5% (S), 2% (L), 4% (M) and 6% (H). With the equivalent mass principle, PMB450 and PMB700 were applied at 0.23% (S), 0.92% (L), 1.84% (M), 2.76% (H), and 0.192% (S), 0.7% (L), 1.4% (M), 2.1% (H), respectively. Parameters of Chinese cabbage biomass and quality, total and available concentrations of toxic metals in soil, and soil chemical properties were systemically measured. The main results of this study showed that compared with PM, PMB700 was more effective than PMB450, which induced the highest reductions of Cu, Zn, Pb, and Cd contents in cabbage by 62.6%, 73.0%, 43.9%, and 74.3%, respectively. Both PM and PMB increased the total contents of metals (Cu, Zn, Pb, and Cd) in soil, and PMB decreased the mobility of Cu, Zn, Pb, and Cd at high application rates (≥2%). Treatment with H-PMB700 reduced CaCl2 extractable Cu, Zn, Pb, and Cd by 70.0%, 71.6%, 23.3%, and 15.9%, respectively. For Cu, Zn, Pb, and Cd fractions with BCR extraction, PMB treatments, especially PMB700, were more effective than PM in decreasing the available fractions (F1 +F2 +F3) at high application rates (≥2%). Overall, pyrolysis with high temperature (e.g., 700 ℃) could significantly stabilize the toxic elements in PM and enhance PM's effect on toxic metals immobilization. The marked effects of PMB700 on toxic metal immobilization and cabbage quality improvement might be attributed to high ash contents and liming effect.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Hepatitis B virus (HBV)-associated hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) does not respond well to current treatment options like sorafenib, and there is an urgent need for developing therapeutical strategies for HBV + HCC. Brassicasterol has previously shown anti-cancer and anti-viral activities, however, its value against HBV + HCC remains to be explored. METHODS The inhibitory effect of brassicasterol and sorafenib was evaluated on HBV + HCC cell lines and xenograft mouse model. The cytotoxicity of brassicasterol on normal liver cells were measured by LDH assay. AKT agonist was used to identify the targeted signaling pathway by brassicasterol. RESULTS Brassicasterol induced HBV + HCC cell death in a both dose-dependent and time-dependent manner, and such inhibition was more potent than sorafenib. Brassicasterol did not show apparent cytotoxicity to normal liver cells. Xenograft mouse model further confirmed the inhibitory effect of brassicasterol on the growth of HBV + HCC. Furthermore, signaling pathway analysis showed that brassicasterol-treated HBV + HCC cells had decreased level of phosphor-AKT expression while the addition of AKT agonist could counteract the inhibitory effect of brassicasterol on HCC, indicating that brassicasterol suppressed AKT pathway to exhibit anti-cancer activity in HBV + HCC cells. In addition, brassicasterol showed similar levels of inhibition on HBV- and HBV + HCC cells. CONCLUSION Brassicasterol possesses anti-cancer activity against HCC through the downregulation of AKT pathway and such activity is independent of HBV infection.

Abstract
The foveal avascular zone (FAZ) is a retinal area devoid of capillaries and associated with multiple retinal pathologies and visual acuity. Optical Coherence Tomography Angiography (OCT-A) is a very effective means of visualizing retinal vascular and avascular areas, but its use remains limited to research settings due to its complex optics limiting availability. On the other hand, fundus photography is widely available and often adopted in population studies. In this work, we test the feasibility of estimating the FAZ from fundus photos using three different approaches. The first two approaches rely on pixel-level and image-level FAZ information to segment FAZ pixels and regress FAZ area, respectively. The third is a training mask-free pipeline combining saliency maps with an active contours approach to segment FAZ pixels while being trained on image-level measures of the FAZ areas. This enables training FAZ segmentation methods without manual alignment of fundus and OCT-A images, a time-consuming process, which limits the dataset that can be used for training. Segmentation methods trained on pixel-level labels and image-level labels had good agreement with masks from a human grader (respectively DICE of 0.45 and 0.4). Results indicate the feasibility of using fundus images as a proxy to estimate the FAZ when angiography data is not available.

Abstract
AIM To evaluate the utility of contrast-enhanced magnetic resonance angiography (CE-MRA) for identifying prostatic artery (PA) anatomy in patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) before PA embolisation (PAE), using digital subtraction angiography (DSA) as the reference standard. MATERIALS AND METHODS A total of 176 patients underwent pelvic CE-MRA at 3 T. DSA was performed within the following 7 days. Two interventional radiologists compared the CE-MRA findings with DSA findings to assess the anatomy of the PAs. The rates of correct identification of the origins and collaterals of the PAs by CE-MRA were calculated. The utility for predicting the optimal X-ray tube angle obliquity for visualising the origins of the PAs by CE-MRA was evaluated. An exact McNemar's test was used to compare the detection rates of the PAs and the collaterals with DSA versus CE-MRA. A two-sided p-value of <0.05 was considered statistically significant. RESULTS Of the 376 PAs identified by DSA, CE-MRA correctly identified the origins of 369 vessels (98.1%), with a 1.9% false-negative rate and no false-positive results. Of the 57 total collaterals identified by DSA, CE-MRA identified 50 vessels correctly (87.7%), with a 12.3% false-negative rate and no false-positive results. No significant differences were observed between CE-MRA and DSA in the identification of the PA origins (p=0.824) and the collaterals (p=0.327). The optimal degree for an oblique projection to visualise the origins of the PAs could be predicted accurately (100%) by pre-procedural CE-MRA. CONCLUSION CE-MRA before PAE can reliably predict the PA anatomy and facilitate procedural planning.

Abstract
N-doping for the preparation of functional carbon materials is a trending research topic. In this study, N-rich biochar (BC) was prepared by calcining naturally N rich shrimp shells under oxygen-limiting environment, and the calcining temperatures were controlled. BC were activated with 5% hydrochloric acid solutions and then post-modified with ball-milling to obtain a series of novel adsorbents (MBCs). All samples were characterized by SEM, BET, FT-IR, XRD, XPS, TG, and element analysis. Surface area, pore volume, and other surface functional groups were significantly improved after acidizing and ball-milling. The adsorption capacities for MB were MBC350 > MBC500 > MBC650 >BC350 > BC650 > BC500, and the equilibrium adsorption capacities were 575.01 mg/g, 506.52 mg/g, 424.59 mg/g, 113.31 mg/g, 93.53 mg/g and 86.25 mg/g, respectively. The excellent adsorption performance of MBCs for MB was ascribed to Lewis acid-base interaction, π-π interaction, electrostatic interaction and van der Waals, and the quinone group and pyridinic-N on the surface of the MBCs are identified as the major active sites. Taken together, ball-milled shrimp shell biochar is a promising material for cation dye adsorption.

Abstract
Visible-light-driven heterogeneous photo-Fenton process has emerged as the most promising Fenton-derived technology for wastewater decontamination, owing to its prominent superiorities including the potential utilization of clean energy (solar light), and acceleration of ≡Fe(II)/≡Fe(III) dynamic cycle. As the core constituent, catalysts play a pivotal role in the photocatalytic activation of H2O2 to yield reactive oxidative species (ROS). To date, all types of iron-based heterogeneous photo-Fenton catalysts (Fe-HPFCs) have been extensively reported by the scientific community, and exhibited satisfactory catalytic performance towards pollutants decomposition, sometimes even exceeding the homogeneous counterparts (Fe(II)/H2O2). However, the relevant reviews on Fe-HPFCs, especially from the viewpoint of catalyst-self design are extremely limited. Therefore, this state-of-the-art review focuses on the available Fe-HPFCs in literatures, and gives their classification based on their self-characteristics and modification strategies for the first time. Two classes of representative Fe-HPFCs, conventional inorganic semiconductors of Fe-containing minerals and newly emerging Fe-based metal-organic frameworks (Fe-MOFs) are comprehensively summarized. Moreover, three universal strategies including (i) transition metal (TMs) doping, (ii) construction of heterojunctions with other semiconductors or plasmonic materials, and (iii) combination with supporters were proposed to tackle their inherent defects, viz., inferior light-harvesting capacity, fast recombination of photogenerated carriers, slow mass transfer and low exposure and uneven dispersion of active sites. Lastly, a critical emphasis was also made on the challenges and prospects of Fe-HPFCs in wastewater treatment, providing valuable guidance to researchers for the reasonable construction of high-performance Fe-HPFCs.

Abstract
BACKGROUND This study aimed to investigate the association between fructose consumption and all-cause dementia, and Alzheimer's disease (AD) dementia. METHODS We used data from the Framingham Offspring Study (FOS) Cohort exams 5 through 9. Fructose consumption was quantified using a food-frequency questionnaire (FFQ) at cohort examinations 5 and participants were dementia-free at baseline. Surveillance for incident events commenced at examination 9 through 2014. Multivariable Cox proportional hazards regression was used to estimate the hazard ratios for the association between fructose consumption and incidence of all-cause dementia and AD dementia. RESULTS Over a mean follow-up of 15.2 (interquartile range, 12.3-17.1) years (31715.1 person-years), there were 233 dementia events of which 163 were AD dementia (70.0%). After multivariate adjustments, individuals with the highest consumption of fructose had a higher risk of all-cause dementia, and AD dementia when comparing daily cumulative consumption to 0 per week (reference), with HRs of 1.49 (95% 1.14-1.84, P for trend < 0.001) for all-cause dementia, and 1.60 (95%CI 1.22-2.01, P-trend < 0.001) for AD dementia. And the comparable results were shown in the subgroups for individuals with median consumption of fructose. CONCLUSION Fructose consumption was associated with a higher risk of all-cause dementia and AD dementia.

Abstract
Objective: To assess the risk of foodborne diseases caused by Cronobacter sakazakii in infant formula powder from retail to feeding and provide formulate suggestions for safe feeding of infants at home. Methods: This study used the special monitoring and risk monitoring data of infant formula powder in Heilongjiang Province and combined data at home and abroad. The @RISK software was used to evaluate the disease risk caused by Cronobacter sakazakii in the process of infant formula powder from retail to feeding. Results: According to the results of this quantitative risk assessment, the risk of foodborne diseases caused by Cronobacter sakazakii at the current consumption pattern in Heilongjiang Province was 5.158×10-5 persons/million (40.0 ℃ and 50.0 ℃), 1.072×10-7 persons/million (60.0 ℃), 5.544×10-14 persons/million (70.0 ℃). When the feeding time of infant formula powder was adjusted to 0-2 h and 2-3 h respectively, the above prediction results did not change. When it was adjusted to 3-4 h, the risk increased. If it was adjusted to 4-24 h, the number of Cronobacter sakazakii increased by 14-24 orders of magnitude at room temperature. If the initial pollution concentration (after flushing) was adjusted to 1 MPN/ml, the average disease risk per meal was 805.7 persons/million (40.0 ℃ and 50.0 ℃), 1.7 persons/million (60.0 ℃) and 9.1 × 10-7 persons/million (70.0 ℃). The results of sensitivity analysis showed that the water temperature (70.0 ℃), initial pollution concentration, room storage time and temperature were important factors of risk. Conclusion: Controlling the contamination level of Cronobacter sakazakii in infant formula powder, controlling the feeding time within 3 h, storing in refrigerator and mixing with water with temperature not lower than 70.0 ℃ are effective measures to prevent infants from eating infant formula powder infected by Cronobacter sakazakii.

Abstract
Objective: To study the clinicopathologic and genetic features of papillary cystic low-grade mucoepidermoid carcinoma (LG-MEC) and cystadenoma. Methods: A retrospective review was performed on salivary gland tumor patients with papillary cystic architecture who presented to department of oral pathology, Peking University School and Hospital of Stomatology between January 2010 and June 2022. Among this cohort, there were 17 males and 17 females with a range age of 23-82 years [(55.6±14.6) years]. Diagnosis was confirmed by histological, immunohistochemistry (IHC) and fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH) analysis. Finally, 15 papillary cystic LG-MEC and 19 cystadenoma patients were included in the present study. All patients were followed clinically and radiologically, and the duration of follow-up ranged from 1 to 141 months. Results: All neoplasms showed papillary proliferation with multilocular or giant cystic tumors. Papillary cystic LG-MEC was characterized by epidermoid cells, intermediate cell and mucous cells with multiple lining-layers. Papillary cystic LG-MEC had mild cellular atypia and a pushing infiltration. Cystadenoma was characterized by cuboidal, columnar and ciliated pseudostratified columnar lining epithelium. Squamous metaplasia, mucinous metaplasia and acidophilic degeneration could also be observed focally in cystadenoma. For IHC staining, papillary cystic LG-MEC showed diffusely and strongly positive for mucin 4 (MUC4) (15/15) and mucin 5 Subtype AC (MUC5AC) (4/15) in the epidermoid cells, intermediate cell and mucous cells. The epidermoid cells and intermediate cells were diffusely positive for p40 and p63. The Ki-67 index was about 10%-15% in LG-MEC. As a contrast, p40 (17/19) and p63 (14/15) were only detected in the basal cells of cystadenoma. Cystadenoma showed focal MUC5AC (4/19)expression and MUC4 (19/19)diffuse expression. In addition, the Ki-67 index was 5%-10% in cystadenoma. The MAML2 gene translocation was detected in 11 LG-MEC patients, but none in cystadenoma. Conclusions: The differential diagnosis points between papillary cystic LG-MEC and cystadenoma included the specific epidermoid cells, intermediate cells and mucus cells in LG-MEC, cell atypia, the pushing-infiltration pattern, diffuse expression of p40 and p63 in the lining epithelium, and a MAML2 gene rearrangement. The molecular test of MAML2 should be recommended to reduce missed LG-MEC diagnoses.

Abstract
Objective: To develop a designing software of digital oral positioning stent for radiotherapy of head and neck, and to compare its clinical effect with traditional oral positioning stents made by lost wax process. Methods: Thirty patients with nasopharyngeal cancer who received oral examination before radiotherapy in the prosthodontics department from July to December, 2021, were selected and divided into three groups according to the patients' wishes, 10 per group: one group without radiotherapy oral positioning stents, one group with traditional oral positioning stents (traditional stents group), and the third group with digital oral positioning stents (digital stents group). Patients' ages range from 20 years old to 71 years old. There were 15 males and 15 females involved in this study. The manufacturing time and comfort of the two positioning stents were evaluated, and the radiation doses of the radiotherapy target areas and surrounding healthy tissues were statistically analyzed at the end of radiotherapy. Results: The manufacturing time of digital stents group [(209±7) min] was much less than that of traditional stents group [(490±10) min] (t=69.85, P<0.001). The comfort of patients' wearing of digital stents [first wearing: 5 (3, 6) score; at the end of radiotherapy: 4 (3, 5) score] was better than that of traditional ones [first wearing: 7 (3, 7) score; at the end of radiotherapy: 7 (3, 7) score] (U=22.00, P=0.033; U=20.50, P=0.023). There was no significant differences in the target radiation doses among the three groups, and the radiation doses of tongue [traditional stents group: (36.74±5.45) Gy; digital stents group: (35.96±4.98) Gy] and mandible [traditional stents group: (35.46±4.19) Gy; digital stents group: (35.34±3.98) Gy] were significantly lower in the patients wearing oral positioning stents than in the patients without oral positioning stents [tongue: (41.49±4.46) Gy; madible: (39.32±3.52) Gy] (P<0.05). Conclusions: Oral positioning stents for nasopharyngeal carcinoma radiotherapy could greatly reduce the exposure doses of tongue and madible of patients. Digital oral positioning stents designed and manufactured by independently developed software had higher production efficiency than the traditional method, and patients' evaluation of comfort was better.
