Abstract
Perinatal psychopharmacology is an emerging specialty that is gradually developing alongside perinatal psychiatry. The management of psychiatric disorders during the perinatal period is a challenge for perinatal practitioners due to the multiple changes occurring during this crucial period. This little-known specialty still suffers from inappropriate considerations on the impact of psychotropic treatments on the mother and the infant during pregnancy and postpartum, which can promote a deficiency in perinatal psychic care. However, the risks associated with insufficient management of mental health are major, impacting both the mental and physical health of the mother and the infant. In this paper, we propose a perinatal psychopharmacology prescription guide based on available scientific evidence and international and national recommendations. We thus propose a decision-making process formalized on simple heuristics in order to help the clinician to prescribe psychotropic drugs during the perinatal period.

Abstract
Denial of pregnancy is a public health problem due to maternal, fetal, and neonatal morbidity, affecting both physical and mental health. It generally involves an absence of the physical signals associated with pregnancy such as abdominal swelling, amenorrhea, weight gain, or even perception of fetal movements. Despite the potential consequences for mother and child, there is still little data on its clinical features and the neurocognitive mechanisms involved. In this paper, we provide an update on the clinical, socio-demographic, and psychopathological characteristics of pregnancy denial based on contemporary scientific literature. We first define denial of pregnancy by referring to the history of the concept, previous definitions, and nosographic classifications. We then detail the clinic of denial by distinguishing the physical and psychological symptoms of this disorder, then the socio-demographic, gynecological, and psychiatric characteristics. We describe the consequences of denial on the mother, infant, and the dyad, referring to situations of cryptic neonaticide. Finally, we show the importance of perinatal neuroscience research on maternal interoception to understand the mechanisms involved in denial of pregnancy, and improve their medical management in clinical practice.

Abstract
Pre-hospital triage centres were created during the first wave of Covid-19 in March 2020. The intention was to examine patients in appropriate sanitary conditions and prevent emergency departments from overcrowding. This study describes triage centres in the Federation Wallonia-Brussels. The aim of the study was to collect key aspects of triage centres, implementation and information about the daily functioning interpreted positively or negatively by the GP-coordinators in charge of their management. This study was divided into two parts : an online questionnaire and semi-structured interviews. Overall, 14 questionnaires and 6 interviews were collected among the 44 initially contacted GP-coordinators. Our results point to a highly heterogeneous organisation of the triage centres, nevertheless adapted to local contexts, as well as a gap between local effective dynamics and challenges regarding federal/regional cooperation. This study may help for further crisis management plans.

Abstract
Philosophy of Mind is currently one of the most prolific fields of research in philosophy and has witnessed a progressive hybridization with cognitive science. It focuses on fundamental questions to neuroscience and psychiatry, such as the nature of mental states and cognitive processes, or the relationships between mental states and the world. Anticipating the accumulation of experimental data from neuroscience, it provides a framework for the generation of theories in cognitive science. Philosophy of mind has thus laid the foundations of the conceptual space within which cognitive sciences have spread: a large part of contemporary theories in cognitive science result from a hybridization of conceptions forged by philosophers of mind and data produced by neuroscientists. Yet contemporary psychiatry is still reluctant to feed on the philosophy of mind, other than through the fragments that emerge from neuroscience. In this paper, we describe the evolution of contemporary philosophy of mind, and we detail its contributions around three central themes for psychiatry: naturalization of mind, mental causality, and subjectivity of mental states. We show how philosophy of mind provide the conceptual framework to link different levels of explanation in psychiatry: from biological to functional, from neurophysiology to cognition, from matter to mind.

Abstract
INTRODUCTION In France, at the end of the sixth year of medical studies, students take a national ranking examination including progressive clinical case-based multiple-choice questions (MCQs). We aimed to evaluate the ability of these MCQs for testing higher-order thinking more than knowledge recall, and to identify their characteristics associated with success and discrimination. METHODS We analysed the 72 progressive clinical cases taken by the students in the years 2016-2019, through an online platform. RESULTS A total of 72 progressive clinical cases (18 for each of the 4 studied years), corresponding to 1059 questions, were analysed. Most of the clinical cases (n=43, 60%) had 15 questions. Clinical questions represented 89% of all questions, whereas basic sciences questions accounted for 9%. The most frequent medical subspecialties were internal medicine (n=90, 8%) and infectious diseases (n=88, 8%). The most frequent question types concerned therapeutics (26%), exams (19%), diagnosis (14%), and semiology (13%). Level 2 questions ("understand and apply") accounted for 59% of all questions according to the Bloom's taxonomy. The level of Bloom's taxonomy significantly changed over time with a decreasing number of level 1 questions ("remember") (P=0.04). We also analysed the results of the students among 853 questions of training ECNi. Success and discrimination significantly decreased when the number of correct answers increased (P<0.0001 both). The success, discrimination, mean score, and mean number of discrepancies did not differ according to the diagnosis, exam, imaging, semiology, or therapeutic type of questions. CONCLUSION Progressive clinical case-based MCQs represent an innovative way to evaluate undergraduate students.

Abstract
The COVID-19 pandemic has forced general practice to react and adapt its modus operandi in various ways. We describe most important practical adaptations according to the chronology imposed by the different phases of this unprecedented crisis, during the first three quarters of 2020. The Belgian health system and all its components have been put under tension. General medicine has been able to build on its strengths but has also suffered from certain weaknesses. Initial lessons must be learnt in order to better respond to the challenges of tomorrow.

Abstract
Access to active search for actionable secondary findings (SF) in diagnostic practice is a major psychological and ethical issue for genomic medicine. In this study, we analyzed the preferences of patients and their families regarding SF and identified the reporting procedures necessary for informed consent. We interviewed parents of patients with undiagnosed rare diseases potentially eligible for exome sequencing and patients affected by the diseases listed in the ACMG recommendations. Four focus groups (FG) were formed: parents of patients with undiagnosed rare diseases (FG1, n = 5); patients with hereditary cancers (FG2, n = 10); patients with hereditary cardiac conditions (FG3, n = 3); and patients with metabolic diseases (FG4, n = 3). Psychologists presented three broad topics for discussion: 1. Favorable or not to SF access, 2. Reporting procedures, 3. Equity of access. Discussions were recorded and analyzed using simplified Grounded Theory. Overall, 8 participants declared being favorable to SF because of the medical benefit (mainly FG1); 11 were unfavorable because of the psychological consequences (mainly FG2, FG3, FG4); 2 were ambivalent. The possibility of looking for SF in minors was debated. The 4 key information-based issues for participants ranked as follows: explanation of SF issues, autonomy of choice, importance of a reflection period, and quality of interactions between patients and professionals. Examining equity of access to SF led to philosophical discussions on quality of life. In conclusion, individual experience and life context (circumstances) were decisive in participants' expectations and fears regarding access to SF. Additional longitudinal studies based on actual SF disclosure announcements are needed to establish future guidelines.

Abstract
In the past few decades great effort has been devoted to the study of water confined in hydrophobic geometries at the nanoscale (tubes and slit pores) due to the multiple technological applications of such systems, ranging from drug delivery to water desalination devices. To our knowledge, neither numerical/theoretical nor experimental approaches have so far reached a consensual understanding of structural and transport properties of water under these conditions. In this work, we present molecular dynamics simulations of TIP4P/2005 water under different nanoconfinements (slit pores or nanotubes, with two degrees of hydrophobicity) within a wide temperature range. It has been found that water is more structured near the less hydrophobic walls, independently of the confining geometries. Meanwhile, we observe an enhanced diffusion coefficient of water in both hydrophobic nanotubes. Finally, we propose a confined Stokes-Einstein relation to obtain the viscosity from diffusivity, whose result strongly differs from the Green-Kubo expression that has been used in previous works. While viscosity computed with the Green-Kubo formula (applied for anisotropic and confined systems) strongly differs from that of the bulk, viscosity computed with the confined Stokes-Einstein relation is not so much affected by the confinement, independently of its geometry. We discuss the shortcomings of both approaches, which could explain this discrepancy.

Abstract
A new ultralow-temperature setup dedicated to soft X-ray absorption spectroscopy and X-ray magnetic circular dichroism (XMCD) experiments is described. Two experiments, performed on the DEIMOS beamline (SOLEIL synchrotron), demonstrate the outstanding performance of this new platform in terms of the lowest achievable temperature under X-ray irradiation (T = 220 mK), the precision in controlling the temperature during measurements as well as the speed of the cooling-down and warming-up procedures. Moreover, owing to the new design of the setup, the eddy-current power is strongly reduced, allowing fast scanning of the magnetic field in XMCD experiments; these performances lead to a powerful device for X-ray spectroscopies on synchrotron-radiation beamlines facilities.

Abstract
We apply X-ray magnetic circular dichroism to study the internal magnetic structure of two very promising star shaped macrocyclic complexes with a CuII3TbIII core. These complexes are rare examples prepared with a macrocyclic ligand that show indications of SMM (Single Molecule Magnet) behavior, and they differ only in ring size: one has a propylene linked macrocycle, [CuII3TbIII(LPr)(NO3)2(MeOH)(H2O)2](NO3)·3H2O (nickname: Cu3Tb(LPr)), and the other has the butylene linked analogue, [CuII3TbIII(LBu)(NO3)2(MeOH)(H2O)](NO3)·3H2O (nickname: Cu3Tb(LBu)). We analyze the orbital and spin contributions to the Cu and Tb ions quantitatively by applying the spin and orbital sum rules concerning the L2 (M4)/L3 (M5) edges. In combination with appropriate ligand field simulations, we demonstrate that the Tb(iii) ions contribute with high orbital magnetic moments to the magnetic anisotropy, whereas the ligand field determines the easy axis of magnetization. Furthermore, we confirm that the Cu(ii) ions in both molecules are in a divalent valence state, the magnetic moments of the three Cu ions appear to be canted due to 3d-3d intramolecular magnetic interactions. For Cu3Tb(LPr), the corresponding element specific magnetization loops reflect that the Cu(ii) contribution to the overall magnetic picture becomes more important as the temperature is lowered. This implies a low value for the 3d-4f coupling.

Abstract
Ultrasound is presently emerging not only as a specialist-delegated diagnostic procedure, but also as a tool used by clinicians for guiding decision. The aim of this article is , through a literature review, to identify possible indications of ultrasound performed by the general practitioner and to initiate a discussion about the obstacles and opportunities associated with its introduction in Belgian General Practice settings.

Abstract
The classical paradigm for osmotic transport has long related the induced-flow direction to the solute membrane interactions, with the low-to-high concentration flow a direct consequence of the solute rejection from the semipermeable membrane. In principle, the same was thought to occur for the newly demonstrated membrane-free osmotic transport named diffusio-osmosis. Using a recently proposed nanofluidic setup, we revisit this cornerstone of osmotic transport by studying the diffusio-osmotic flows generated at silica surfaces by either poly(ethylene)glycol polymers or ethanol molecules in aqueous solutions. Strikingly, both neutral solutes yield osmotic flows in the usual low to high concentration direction, in contradiction with their propensity to adsorb on silica. Considering theoretically and numerically the intricate nature of the osmotic response that combines molecular-scale surface interaction and near-wall dynamics, these findings are rationalized within a generalized framework. These elements constitute a step forward toward a finer understanding of osmotically driven flows, at the core of rapidly growing fields ranging from energy harvesting to active matter.

Abstract
We report on the realization of functional infrared light concentrators based on a thick layer of air-polymer metamaterial with controlled pore size gradients. The design features an optimum gradient index profile leading to light focusing in the Fresnel zone of the structures for two selected operating wavelength domains near 5.6 and 10.4 μm. The metamaterial which consists in a thick polymer containing air holes with diameters ranging from λ/20 to λ/8 is made using a 3D lithography technique based on the two-photon polymerization of a homemade photopolymer. Infrared imaging of the structures reveals a tight focusing for both structures with a maximum local intensity increase by a factor of 2.5 for a concentrator volume of 1.5 λ3, slightly limited by the residual absorption of the selected polymer. Such porous and flat metamaterial structures offer interesting perspectives to increase infrared detector performance at the pixel level for imaging or sensing applications.

Abstract
The design and the first experiments are described of a versatile cryogenic insert used for its electrical transport capabilities. The insert is designed for the cryomagnet installed on the DEIMOS beamline at the SOLEIL synchrotron dedicated to magnetic characterizations through X-ray absorption spectroscopy (XAS) measurements. This development was spurred by the multifunctional properties of novel materials such as multiferroics, in which, for example, the magnetic and electrical orders are intertwined and may be probed using XAS. The insert thus enables XAS to in situ probe this interplay. The implementation of redundant wiring and careful shielding also enables studies on operating electronic devices. Measurements on magnetic tunnel junctions illustrate the potential of the equipment toward XAS studies of in operando electronic devices.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Vascular aging is accompanied by gradual remodeling affecting both arterial and cardiac structure and mechanical properties. Hypertension is suggested to exert pro-inflammatory actions enhancing arterial stiffness. OBJECTIVE To determine the influence of thoracic aortic inflammation and calcifications on arterial stiffness and cardiac function in hypertensive and normotensive older subjects. DESIGN A prospective study. SETTING An acute geriatrics ward of the University Hospital of Nancy in France. SUBJECTS Thirty individuals ≥ 65 years were examined, including 15 hypertensive subjects and 15 controls well-matched for age and sex. MEASUREMENTS Applanation tonometry was used to measure aortic pulse wave velocity (AoPWV) and carotid/brachial pulse pressure amplification (PPA). Left ventricular parameters were measured with magnetic resonance imaging. Local thoracic aortic inflammation and calcification were measured by 18 F-fluorodeoxyglucose positron emission tomography/computed tomography imaging. Biomarkers of low-grade inflammation were also quantified. RESULTS AoPWV was higher in elderly hypertensive subjects comparatively to normotensive controls (15.5±5.3 vs. 11.9±2.5, p=0.046), and hypertensives had a higher calcification volume. In the overall population, calcifications of the thoracic descending aorta and inflammation of the ascending aorta accounted for respectively 18.1% (p=0.01) and 9.6% (p=0.07) of AoPWV variation. Individuals with high levels of calcifications and/or inflammation had higher AoPWV (p=0.003). Inflammation had a negative effect on PPA explaining 13.8% of its variation (p<0.05). CONCLUSION This study highlights the importance of local ascending aortic inflammation as a potential major actor in the determination of PPA while calcifications and hypertension are more linked to AoPWV. Assessment of PPA in the very elderly could provide complementary information to improve diagnostic and therapeutic strategies targeting ascending aortic inflammation.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE A new protocol is described for assessing the efficacy of the dispenser of some packaging systems (PSs) of preservative-free cosmetic products in protecting both their contained formula and their delivered doses. METHODS Practically, aiming at mimicking contacts with a non-sterile skin or fingers, the dispensing system is put into contact with a pre-contaminated fabric by a standardized colonization of P. aeruginosa. RESULTS When applied to three different types of packaging, results show clear differences in both criteria between these conditioning articles, that is variable efficacies in protecting the contained product and the delivered doses, knowing that the first aspect is of paramount importance. CONCLUSION The proposed protocol is proved being able to discriminate between different PSs and provides information on strong and weak features of certain types dispensing technologies prone to efficiently decrease either the dose contamination or to prevent contamination in reaching the contained product. Therefore, the proposed protocol can contribute to an objective selection of a PS for protecting a cosmetic care product with a low content of preservative or preservative free.

Abstract
A generalized lock-in detection method is proposed to extract amplitude and phase from optical interferometers when an arbitrary periodic phase or frequency modulation is used. The actual modulation function is used to create the reference signals providing an optimal extraction of the useful information, notably for sinusoidal phase modulation. This simple and efficient approach has been tested and applied to phase sensitive spectroscopy and near-field optical measurements. We analyze the case where the signal amplitude is modulated and we show how to suppress the contribution of unmodulated background field.

Abstract
Emissions of CH4 and N2O related to private pig farming under a tropical climate in Uvéa Island were studied in this paper. Physicochemical soil parameters such as nitrate, nitrite, ammonium, Kjeldahl nitrogen, total organic carbon, pH and moisture were measured. Gaseous soil emissions as well as physicochemical parameters were compared in two private pig farming strategies encountered on this island on two different soils (calcareous and ferralitic) in order to determine the best pig farming management: in small concrete pens or in large land pens. Ammonium levels were higher in control areas while nitrate and nitrite levels were higher in soils with pig slurry inputs, indicating that nitrification was the predominant process related to N2O emissions. Nitrate contents in soils near concrete pens were important (≥ 55 μg N/g) and can thus be a threat for the groundwater. For both pig farming strategies, N2O and CH4 fluxes can reach high levels up to 1 mg N/m(2)/h and 1 mg C/m(2)/h, respectively. CH4 emissions near concrete pens were very high (≥ 10.4 mg C/m(2)/h). Former land pens converted into agricultural land recover low N2O emission rates (≤ 0.03 mg N/m(2)/h), and methane uptake dominates. N2O emissions were related to nitrate content whereas CH4 emissions were found to be moisture dependent. As a result relating to the physicochemical parameters as well as to the gaseous emissions, we demonstrate that pig farming in large land pens is the best strategy for sustainable family pig breeding in Uvéa Islands and therefore in similar small tropical islands.

Abstract
In order to improve the efficiency of X-ray absorption data recording, a fast scan method, the Turboscan, has been developed on the DEIMOS beamline at Synchrotron SOLEIL, consisting of a software-synchronized continuous motion of the monochromator and undulator motors. This process suppresses the time loss when waiting for the motors to reach their target positions, as well as software dead-time, while preserving excellent beam characteristics.

Abstract
The control of the magnetization of a material with an electric field would make the design and the integration of novel electronic devices possible. This explains the renewed interest in multiferroic materials. Progress in this field is currently hampered by the scarcity of the materials available and the smallness of the magnetoelectric effects. Here we present a proof-of-principle experiment showing that engineering large strains through nanoscale size reduction is an efficient route for increasing magnetoelectric coefficients by orders of magnitude. The archetype magnetoelectric material, Cr2O3, in the form of epitaxial clusters, exhibits an unprecedented 600% change in magnetization magnitude under 1 V. Furthermore, a multiferroic phase, with both magnetic and electric spontaneous polarizations, is found in the clusters, while absent in the bulk.

Abstract
The DEIMOS (Dichroism Experimental Installation for Magneto-Optical Spectroscopy) beamline was part of the second phase of the beamline development at French Synchrotron SOLEIL (Source Optimisée de Lumière à Energie Intermédiaire du LURE) and opened to users in March 2011. It delivers polarized soft x-rays to perform x-ray absorption spectroscopy, x-ray magnetic circular dichroism, and x-ray linear dichroism in the energy range 350-2500 eV. The beamline has been optimized for stability and reproducibility in terms of photon flux and photon energy. The main end-station consists in a cryo-magnet with 2 split coils providing a 7 T magnetic field along the beam or 2 T perpendicular to the beam with a controllable temperature on the sample from 370 K down to 1.5 K.

Abstract
This paper describes a Quantum Cascade Laser Absorption Spectrometer, called "QCLAS" that was developed to monitor in situ greenhouse gases like N2O and CH4, at high temporal resolution and with a high accuracy. The design of the laser sensor is reported as well as its performances in terms of precision error and field deployment capabilities. Finally, to demonstrate the efficiency and the robustness of QCLAS and its suitability for gas emission monitoring and for the determination of fluxes, we report the results from a field campaign, that took place in the Wallis and Futuna Islands in 2011, to investigate the impact of environmental intensive pig farming.

Abstract
OBJECTIVES Older people have an increased risk of low molecular weight heparin accumulation leading to an increased bleeding risk. The objective of this study was to assess whether reduced glomerular filtration rate (GFR), estimated by the Cockcroft-Gault or modification of the diet in renal disease (MDRD) equations, indicates drug accumulation by increased anti-Xa levels in older subjects receiving prophylactic enoxaparin treatment. DESIGN Cohort study. SETTING Acute geriatric units in Nancy Hospital. PARTICIPANTS Ninety-two consenting consecutive patients, 65 and older, confined to bed for an acute medical condition requiring enoxaparin for prevention of venous thromboembolism, and hospitalized for at least six days were enrolled. MEASUREMENTS Serum creatinine and peak plasma anti-Xa levels 3 to 4 hours after the daily injection of enoxaparin were measured at days 3, 6, 9 and 12 (first dose of enoxaparin at day one). Analyses of variance for repeated measures were used to evaluate significant predictors of peak anti-Xa activity in univariate and multivariate analyses. RESULTS A significant correlation was observed between anti-Xa activity and GFR estimated with the Cockcroft formula r=0.43. Following univariate analysis, the three factors associated with higher anti-Xa levels were a lower Cockcroft-Gault GFR (p=0.0002), female gender (p=0.0003) and a lower bodyweight (p<.0001). No significant association between anti-Xa levels and MDRD GFR (p=0.33) was observed. Following multivariate analysis, female gender (p=0.02), bodyweight (p=0.04) and Cockcroft GFR (p=0.05) remained independent determinants of anti-Xa levels. CONCLUSION In hospitalized patients older than 65 years old, the Cockcroft-Gault equation, in contrast to the MDRD equation, is able to predict the risk of higher anti-Xa levels.

Abstract
We report the discovery of 180° electron-spin precession in spin-polarized electron-reflection experiments on Fe films on Ag(001), the largest possible precession angle in a single electron reflection. Both experiments as a function of Fe film thickness and ab initio calculations show that the appearance of this ultimate spin precession depends with utmost sensitivity on the relaxation of the Fe surface layers during growth. Similar spin precession is also predicted for other ferromagnetic films.

Abstract
We use a pump-probe photoemission electron microscopy technique to image the displacement of vortex cores in Permalloy discs due to the spin-torque effect during current pulse injection. Exploiting the distinctly different symmetries of the spin torques and the Oersted-field torque with respect to the vortex spin structure we determine the torques unambiguously, and we quantify the amplitude of the strongly debated nonadiabatic spin torque. The nonadiabaticity parameter is found to be β=0.15±0.07, which is more than an order of magnitude larger than the damping constant α, pointing to strong nonadiabatic transport across the high magnetization gradient vortex spin structures.

Abstract
We have studied the repercussion of the molecular adsorption mechanism on the electronic properties of the interface between model nonmagnetic or magnetic metallic surfaces and metallo-organic phthalocyanines molecules (Pcs). Our intertwined x-ray absorption spectroscopy experiments and computational studies reveal that manganese Pc (MnPc) is physisorbed onto a Cu(001) surface and retains the electronic properties of a free molecule. On the other hand, MnPc is chemisorbed onto Co(001), leading to a dominant direct exchange interaction between the Mn molecular site and the Co substrate. By promoting an interfacial spin-polarized conduction state on the molecule, these interactions reveal an important lever to tailor the spintronic properties of hybrid organic-metallic interfaces.

Abstract
Since their introduction, genetic tests have been carefully considered, with special attention to the release of information about the test and test results, the confidentiality of genetic information, the request and its motivation, and the psychological impact of the test. Careful consideration is needed when family members at risk are asymptomatic children or adolescents. Cautious reflection is warranted on whether and under which conditions genetic testing should be performed. Here, we report on the results of a survey conducted in France among 50 geneticists questioned on their opinions and practices concerning presymptomatic testing in three groups of diseases: those for which a medical benefit exists during childhood (e.g., retinoblastoma), diseases with onset during childhood for which there are no immediate medical consequences (e.g., type II/III spinal muscular atrophy), and those with onset during adulthood for which there is no medical benefit during childhood (e.g., Huntington disease). Guidelines are proposed: presymptomatic testing should not be performed in a minor without individual and direct information, all requests for presymptomatic genetic testing concerning a disease with onset in adulthood should be postponed, and all presymptomatic test requests for a minor should be addressed to a multidisciplinary team.

Abstract
Using photoemission electron microscopy, we image the dynamics of a field pulse excited domain wall in a Permalloy nanowire. We find a delay in the onset of the wall motion with respect to the excitation and an oscillatory relaxation of the domain wall back to its equilibrium position, defined by an external magnetic field. The origin of both of these inertia effects is the transfer of energy between energy reservoirs. By imaging the distribution of the exchange energy in the wall spin structure, we determine these reservoirs, which are the basis of the domain wall mass concept.

Abstract
Element-specific imaging of magnetic domains in a ferromagnet/antiferromagnet heterostructure consisting of Co/SmFeO(3) has been performed in the vicinity of the spin-reorientation phase transition in SmFeO(3) using a photoemission electron microscope. Evidence is shown that a 90° in-plane spin-reorientation in the antiferromagnetic SmFeO(3) triggers a similar reorientation of spins of the ferromagnetic Co layer on top of it. The possibility of triggering the spin-reorientation with the help of laser-excitation is demonstrated.
