Abstract
The purpose of the study is to evaluate whether laparoscopic pancreatoduodenectomy (LPD) is safe and feasible for elderly patients. From December 2015 to January 2019, 142 LPD surgeries and 93 OPD surgeries were performed by the same surgeon in the third affiliated hospital of Soochow University. After applying the inclusion and exclusion criteria, we retrospectively collected the date of three defined groups: LPD aged < 70 years (group I, 84 patients), LPD aged ≥ 70 years (group II, 56 patients) and OPD aged ≥ 70 years (group III, 28 patients). Baseline characteristics and short-term surgical outcomes of group I and group II, group II and group III were compared. Totally, 168 patients were included in this study; 100 cases were men; 68 cases were women; mean age was 67.9 ± 9.5 years. LPD does not perform as well in elderly as it does in non-elderly patients in terms of intraoperative blood loss (300.0 (200.0-500.0) ml vs. 200.0 (100.0-300.0) ml, p = 0.003), proportion of intraoperative transfusion (17.9% vs. 6.0%, p = 0.026) and time to oral intake (5.0 (4.0-7.0) day vs. 5.0 (3.0-6.0) day, p = 0.036). Operative time, conversion rate, postoperative stay, and proportion of reoperation, Clavien-Dindo classification, 30-day readmission and 90-day mortality were similar in two groups. In elderly patients, when compared with OPD, LPD had the advantage of shorter time to start oral intake (5.0 (4.0-7.0) day vs. 7.0 (5.0-11.3) day, p = 0.005) but the disadvantage of longer operative time (380.0 (306.3-447.5) min vs. 292.5 (255.0-342.5) min, p < 0.001) and higher hospitalization cost (12447.3 (10,189.7-15,340.0) euros vs. 7251.9 (8994.0-11,717.4) euros, p < 0.001). There was no difference between the two groups in terms of postoperative stay, and proportion of reoperation, Clavien-Dindo classification, 30-day readmission and 90-day mortality. LPD is safe and feasible for elderly people, but we need to consider its high cost and long operative time over OPD.

Abstract
Non-thermal atmospheric pressure plasma (NTAPP) has been reported to induce wound healing, activation of immune cells, and proliferation of mesoderm-derived adult stem cells in human. However, the mechanism by which NTAPP activates these physiological effects is poorly understood. Here, we examined whole genome expression profiles of adipose tissue-derived stem cells (ASCs), the proliferation of which is induced by NTAPP. NTAPP upregulated the expression of genes for cytokine and growth factor, but downregulated genes in apoptotic pathways. When ASCs were treated with NTAPP in the presence of a nitric oxide (NO) scavenger, the expression of various cytokines and growth factors decreased, suggesting that NO is primarily responsible for the enhanced cytokine and growth factor expression induced by NTAPP. Increased histone deacetyl transferase 1 (HDAC1) and decreased acetylated histone 3 were detected in NTAPP-treated ASCs. Similarly, ASCs pre-treated with HDAC, DNA methylation, or histone methylation inhibitors had reduced expression of cytokines and growth factors after NTAPP treatment. Taken together, these results strongly suggest that NTAPP induces epigenetic modifications that activate the expression of cytokines and growth factors, explaining how NTAPP acts as an efficient tool in regenerative medicine to stimulate stem cell proliferation, to activate immune cells, and to recover wounds.

Abstract
AIM Survivors of Hodgkin lymphoma (HL) are at increased risk of breast, lung, thyroid, stomach, pancreatic and colon cancer. There is limited information on the utility of endoscopic screening for colon cancer. We aimed to describe the adenoma detection rate (ADR) in patients with HL to determine the appropriate timing of colonoscopy screening. METHOD We retrospectively studied patients with HL who underwent colonoscopy between 2000 and 2017. RESULTS A total of 251 patients underwent colonoscopy. Eighty (32%) patients had 151 colonic polyps. Thirty per cent of the polyps exhibited high-grade dysplasia, and invasive colon adenocarcinoma was found in 10 patients. Patients with the nodular sclerosing subtype of HL had a significantly lower ADR than others (P = 0.002). The ADR was 5% in patients younger than 35 years (n = 64), 23% in patients between 35 and 40 years of age (n = 22), 39% in patients between 40 and 50 years of age (n = 51) and 46% in patients older than 50 years (n = 114).

Abstract
Although immune checkpoint blockade is considered to be the dominant approach in future cancer immunotherapy, whether it will apply to pancreatic cancer remains largely unknown. To address this issue, pancreatic cancer-associated datasets were individually collected by Gene Expression Profiling Interactive Analysis 2 (GEPIA2), cBioPortal, and Tumor and Immune System Interaction Database (TISIDB), and subsequently subjected to prognostic, genomic, and immunologic analyses of all well-established immune checkpoints. The results indicate that immune checkpoints might not be ideal targets for pancreatic cancer therapy. Intriguingly, the genomic alteration of calreticulin, the key mediator of chemotherapy-induced cancer immunogenic cell death, was found to couple with immune checkpoints in pancreatic cancer. Moreover, calreticulin was observed to be highly expressed in pancreatic adenocarcinoma, and high calreticulin expression significantly favors both overall survival and disease-free survival of patients with pancreatic adenocarcinoma. Importantly, calreticulin was further revealed to be closely related to anti-tumor immunity in pancreatic adenocarcinoma, including multiple immune effector molecules and T-cell signatures. Taken together, calreticulin-based therapy may represent a more promising prospect for pancreatic cancer immunotherapy than immune checkpoint blockade therapy.

Abstract
Background The effect of cooking frequency on hypertension is understudied. This study aimed to examine the effect of cooking on hypertension with a particular focus on gender differences. Methods The present study utilized cross-sectional data from China Kadoorie Biobank with a 512,891-population of China. Hypertension was identified by established diagnosis or by the 1999 WHO/ISH Guidelines for the Management of Hypertension on examination. Cooking frequency was obtained from a self-reported questionnaire and categorized as daily cooking, weekly or monthly cooking and never cooking. Multivariable logistic regression models were employed to examine the associations between cooking frequency and hypertension in men and women, respectively. Stratified analyses by demographic and socio-economic characteristics were conducted. Results Men who ever cooked had higher odds of hypertension compared with those who never cooked (weekly or monthly cooking adjusted odds ratio (AOR): 1.05, 95% CI: 1.02–1.07; Daily cooking AOR: 1.09, 95% CI: 1.06–1.11), while protective effects of cooking against hypertension were observed in women (weekly or monthly cooking AOR: 0.94, 95% CI: 0.89–0.99; daily cooking AOR: 0.96, 95% CI: 0.92–0.99). Socio-economic status including occupation, household income, education and region could further modify the effect of daily cooking on hypertension among men and women, respectively. Conclusion The present study highlighted the effect of cooking on hypertension. We found the opposite trends in men and women with regards to the association between cooking and hypertension. Factors relating to socio-economic status such as education, household income and occupation could further modify the gender-specific effects. Interventions to reduce hypertension should consider the gender differences in food choice and psycho-social stress related to cooking.

Abstract
56 Background: To evaluate contrast enhanced-computed tomography (CE-CT) features to predicting treatment response and survival after neoadjuvant chemotherapy (NAC) for patients with borderline resectable and locally advanced pancreatic cancer. Methods: Sixty-one patients with pancreatic cancer receiving NAC were enrolled and underwent pre-treatment abdominal CE-CT. The patients were divided into groups according to post-treatment tumor size changes. Based on the pretreatment CE-CT images, 396 radiomic features were extracted from three-dimensional regions of interest. The optimal features were selected and three supervised machine learning classifiers were developed. Finally, univariate and multivariate analyses were performed to evaluate the ability of the selected features to predict the histopathological response and outcome. Results: Nine, seven, and five radiomic features, respectively, were selected as optimal features in three experiments. Two features, Haralick Entropy and Histogram Entropy, were consistent among the experiments and both were higher in patients with enlarged tumors. Moreover, a lower Histogram Entropy score was significantly associated with a better histopathological response (p = 0.008) and smaller tumor size (p = 0.041) in patients after tumor resection. In univariate Cox regression analysis, lower Histogram Entropy (p = 0.006) and lower Haralick Entropy (p = 0.001) predicted a better prognosis. Meanwhile, lower Haralick Entropy (p = 0.048) was an independent predictor of longer survival time in multivariate Cox regression analysis. Conclusions: Radiomic features are strongly correlated with NAC treatment response and prognosis in pancreatic cancer, suggesting the potential of imaging radiomics to help tailor the treatment of pancreatic cancer in the era of personalized medicine.

Abstract
Objective:To summarize and analyze the clinical efficacy of 3D and 2D laparoscopic surgery in thyroidectomy for thyroid cancer. Method: Thirty-seven patients with early-differentiated thyroid cancer underwent laparoscopic surgery from August 2016 to November 2018. Their clinical data were retrospectively analyzed. They were divided into 3D laparoscopic group and 2D laparoscopic group based on laparoscopic imaging systems. The perioperative clinical indicators and postoperative complications of the two groups were compared. Result: Compared with the 2D laparoscopic group, the 3D laparoscopic group had shorter operation time and less bleeding, and the incidence of postoperative complications was less, but the differences between the two groups were not statistically significant(P>0.05). Conclusion: Compared with the 2D laparoscopic thyroidectomy, 3D laparoscopic thyroidectomy for thyroid cancer allows higher surgical precision, shorter operation time, lower operation risk and smoother surgical procedure, thus improves surgical efficiency.

Abstract
We present an experimental study on nonequilibrium dynamics of a spinor condensate after it is quenched across a superfluid to Mott insulator (MI) phase transition in cubic lattices. Intricate dynamics consisting of spin-mixing oscillations at multiple frequencies are observed in time evolutions of the spinor condensate localized in deep lattices after the quantum quench. Similar spin dynamics also appear after spinor gases in the MI phase are suddenly moved away from their ground states via quenching magnetic fields. We confirm these observed spectra of spin-mixing dynamics can be utilized to reveal atom number distributions of an inhomogeneous system, and to study transitions from two-body to many-body dynamics. Our data also imply the nonequilibrium dynamics depend weakly on the quench speed but strongly on the lattice potential. This enables precise measurements of the spin-dependent interaction, a key parameter determining the spinor physics.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE To investigate the association between maternal education and breast feeding in the Chinese population, with a consideration of household income and health-seeking behaviours. DESIGN A nationally representative population-based cross-sectional study. SETTING 77 counties from 12 geographically distinct regions in China. PARTICIPANTS 10 408 mothers with children from 0 to 12 months of age, aged 15-53 years old (mean: 29.15, SD: 5.11) were classified into primary school or below group (n=781), middle school group (n=3842), high school/vocational school group (n=1990), college or above group (n=3795), according to their highest completed education. OUTCOMES Five breastfeeding outcomes, including early initiation of breast feeding (EIB), exclusive breast feeding (EBF) under 6 months, predominant breast feeding under 6 months, current breast feeding and children ever breast fed, were calculated based on the standardised questionnaire from the WHO and Wellstart International's toolkit for monitoring and evaluating breastfeeding activities. RESULTS The absolute risk of EIB and EBF in the lowest maternal education level was 64.85% and 26.53%, respectively, whereas the absolute risk of EIB and EBF in the highest maternal education level was 77.21% and 14.06%, respectively. A higher level of maternal education was positively associated with EIB (risk ratio (RR): 1.22; 95% CI: 1.12 to 1.30) and was inversely associated with EBF (RR: 0.59; 95% CI: 0.38 to 0.88). Stratified by household income, a positive association with EIB was observed only in the group with the highest household income and an inverse association with EBF was found in both low household and high household income groups. CONCLUSIONS Mothers with a higher education were more likely to initiate early breast feeding when they were also from a high-income household while also being less likely to exclusively breast feed their babies. Routine and successful nursing is crucial for the health of infants and is influenced by maternal education. Future public health interventions to promote breast feeding should consider the issues related to the educational level of mothers.

Abstract
Negative impacts of increased temperature on maize yield are anticipated using simulation models. However, some temperature functions are parameterized with partial information. There is limited information on photosynthesis response to high temperature in modern maize hybrids. Improved photosynthesis-temperature functions are key for realistic yield simulations. Our experiment was aimed at building a functional relationship between photosynthesis and air temperature exploring temperature ranges relevant for global warming simulations. Maize hybrids from cold, temperate, and subtropical regions were included in the study to assess genetic adaptation. Results showed a trilinear response to temperature with an optimum of 40 °C. No genetic adaptation was observed among the diverse set of hybrids evaluated. Results contrast with common temperature-limiting functions indicating a decline in carbon assimilation above 30-33 °C. Our results suggest possible overestimations of negative impacts of global warming on maize yield due to the use of inadequate response functions relating carbon assimilation to temperature.

Abstract
Objective:To investigate the surgical treatment of secondary hyperparathyroidism(SHPT) with thyroid nodule(TN) in uremic patients.Method:The clinical data of 26 patients diagnosed as SHPT combined with TN were retrospectively analyzed.Result:The patients underwent total parathyroidectomy and parathyroid granuless were transplanted subcutaneously into the forearm. The levels of parathyroid hormone,alkaline phosphatase,serum calcium,serum phosphorus and calcium-phosphorus product in 6 months and 12 months after operation were significantly lower than those before operation(P<0.01).The quality of life assessed by KDQOL-SF scale was significantly higher than that before operation(P<0.01). Concomtiant TN was operated simultaneously, and gravel calcification was significantly associated with papillary thyroid carcinoma(P<0.01).Conclusion:Total parathyroidectomy plus subcutaneous minimal forearm autograft and concurrent surgery with TN are feasible, and can not only properly treat TN, but also significantly improve SHPT-related prognosis and quality of life. We should be alert to the possibility of malignant TN in SHPT background, especially those with grit calcification.

Abstract
Objective: To evaluate the post-marketing safety profiles of the inactivated enterovirus type 71 (EV-A71) vaccine (Vero cell) after routine inoculation. Methods: Eleven cities of Zhejiang Province, Fengtai district of Beijing, Qinnan district, two counties as Pingle and Pingguo of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, and Dongtai city of Jiangsu Province were selected as the field sites. A total of 45 239 subjects were enrolled in this study from children who seeked the vaccination of EV-A71 vaccine during the period from July, 2016 to June, 2018. Different sampling method were adopted in different sites. All vaccinated children were invited to participate in the study in Fengtai and Dongtai, however, systematic sampling method were adopted in other sites. Active surveillance was conducted and information about adverse reactions (ARs) occurred in 30 min, 3 d and 30 d following each dose of EV-A71 immunization was collected by field observation, phone-call or face-to-face interview. The incidence of ARs in different types, symptoms and grades were described. Results: In total, there were 45 239 children who received 71 243 doses EV-A71 vaccine. The overall incidence of ARs was 1.079% (769 doses), with the highest incidence of 1.182% (177/14 973) in 5-11 month group and the lowest incidence of 0.849% (18/2 119) in ≥ 36 month group among different age groups. There was a higher incidence in solicited ARs, which was 1.047% (746 doses). The incidences of grade 1 and grade 2 ARs were also higher, which were 0.404% (288 doses) and 0.554% (395 doses), respectively. No grade 4 ARs occurred. The doses of the first and the second vaccination was 40 736 and 30 507, respectively, and the incidences of ARs were 1.281% (522 doses) and 0.810% (247 doses). Also, the incidences of ARs were 0.091% (37 doses) and 0.043% (13 doses) in local, and 1.168% (476 doses) and 0.760% (232 doses) in system. The symptoms of ARs after the two doses of vaccination were basically the same. Redness at the injection site was the most common local ARs after each dose vaccination, with doses of 24 and 11, while fever was the most common systemic ARs, with doses of 362 and 190. Moreover, ARs mainly occurred in 30 min to 3 d after each dose vaccination, with incidence of 1.016% (414 doses) and 0.698% (213 doses) in the first and second dose, respectively. Conclusion: The ARs had a low incidence after vaccination in children and most were mild or moderate. EV-A71 vaccine with good safety is suitable for inoculation in a large scale.

Abstract
e15760 Background: Pancreatic head adenocarcinoma is commonly diagnosed at an advanced stage when adjacent vascular invasion is present. This study aimed to establish a radiomics nomogram by integrating radiomics signature and clinical predictors to estimate overall survival(OS) in patients who underwent attempted curative resectional surgery for pancreatic head cancer with suspected peri-pancreatic venous invasion. Methods: Data on patients with pancreatic head adenocarcinoma and suspected peripancreatic invasion who underwent pancreatic resection with venous reconstruction were retrospectively collected from 2012 to 2016 at two academic institutions. A total of 396 radiomics features were extracted from pretreatment CE-CT images of each patient. Least absolute shrinkage and selection operator (LASSO) regression was applied to select optimal features and generate a radiomics signature. The radiomics nomogram was developed by integrating the radiomics signature and clinical predictors. The performance of radiomics nomogram validated in the cohort of patients of second institution. Results: Radiomics signatures were significantly associated with pancreatic head adenocarcinoma patients' survival time. The radiomics nomogram combined with clinical predictors(CA-199 value, Peripancreatic venous abnormalities and Lymph node staging) provided good predictive accuracy of survival on calibration curves. The C-index of the model in predicting overall survival (OS) was 0.836 for the validation cohort. Conclusions: The nomogram accurately predicted OS in patients with pancreatic head cancer with suspected peripancreatic venous invasion after attempted curative pancreatic resectional surgery. These findings might aid clinicians with treatment decision-making and improve precise medicine.

Abstract
e15767 Background: The objective response rate to neoadjuvant chemotherapy (NAC) was limited to around 35% in pancreatic cancer and as more as 30% patients show no benefit to NAC. In this instance, predicting the response to NAC may play an important role in individual treatment for pancreatic cancer patients. We aim to evaluate contrast enhanced-computed tomography (CE-CT) features in predicting treatment response and survival after neoadjuvant chemotherapy (NAC) for patients with borderline resectable and locally advanced pancreatic cancer. Methods: Sixty-one pancreatic cancer patients receiving NAC were enrolled and underwent abdominal CE-CT before treatment. All patients were divided into groups according to the changes of tumor size after treatment. 396 radiomics features were extracted from three-dimensional ROIs (region of interest) based on pretreatment CE-CT images of each patient. The optimal features were selected and three supervised machine learning classifiers were developed. Finally, univariate and multivariate analyses were performed to evaluate the capability of the selected features in predicting histopathologic response and outcomes. Results: Nine, seven and five radiomics features were selected as optimal features for three experiments respectively. Two features, Haralick Entropy and Histogram Entropy, were found consistent in experiments and were both higher in patients with tumor enlargement. Moreover, lower Histogram Entropy was significantly associated with a better histopathologic response (p = 0.008) and smaller tumor size (p = 0.041) in patients with tumor resection. In univariate Cox regression analysis, lower Histogram Entropy (P = 0.006) and lower Haralick Entropy (P = 0.001) predicted a better prognosis. Meanwhile, lower Haralick Entropy (p = 0.048) was independent predictor for longer survival time in multivariate Cox regression analysis. Conclusions: Radiomics features are strongly correlated with NAC treatment response and prognosis in pancreatic cancer, suggesting the great potential of imaging radiomics to help tailoring the treatment into the era of personalized medicine

Abstract
Lithium sulfur (Li-S) batteries, which have high theoretical capacity, are promising candidates for energy storage systems; however, several obstacles, including insulating nature and volumetric expansion of sulfur as well as shuttle effects of polysulfides, impede the commercialization of these batteries. Herein, we utilized mesoporous N-doped graphene (NGM) as a sulfur host, which was synthesized using a type of triblock copolymer, Pluronic F127 (PF127), as a soft template. PF127 not only acted as a spacer to prevent the graphene layers from restacking during the hydrothermal reaction, but also resulted in the formation of high-density wrinkles on the surface of the graphene sheets after annealing. The crumpled NGM with a nitrogen doping content of 4.80 at% had the high specific area and total pore volume of up to 958.72 m2 g-1 and 2.39 cm3 g-1, respectively, providing space for the accommodation and uniform distribution of sulfur in the cathode. Therefore, the sulfur content was increased to 87.2 wt% in the graphene sulfur composite, achieving the discharge capacity of 492.2 mA h g-1TE at 1.08 A g-1TE with a low capacity decay rate of 0.12% per cycle after 400 cycles. Thus, this study provides an effective strategy for enhancing the specific surface area and pore volume of graphene to develop Li-S batteries with high performance.

Abstract
Objective: To compare the bio-equivalence among commercial HIV-1 viral load tests, including EasyQ HIV-1 v2.0 (EasyQ) from bioMerieux NucliSens of France; VERSANT HIV-1 RNA 3.0 assay (bDNA) from Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics of USA; COBAS AmpliPrep/COBAS TaqMan HIV-1 test (Taqman) from Roche Molecular Diagnosis of USA; Abbott Real Time HIV-1 Kit (M2000) from Abbott Molecular of USA and two domestic HIV-1 viral load test kits (domestic kit) from DaAn Gene Company of Sun Yat-Sen University and Liaoning Bio-Pharmaceutical company of Northeast pharmaceutical group, by using proficiency test results in China from 2013 to 2015. Methods: A total of 2 954 proficiency test results, obtained from 22 positive samples of 6 proficiency tests in 155 laboratories conducted by China CDC were analyzed during 2013-2015. The results from each sample were first logarithmic transformed and then grouped according to the method used, the mean value of logarithmic results was calculated. Subsequently, 22 clusters of mean values were analyzed by Bland-Altman analysis for the consistency, and linear regression analysis for the interdependency. Results: The results indicated that, by taking Taqman as the reference, EasyQ, M2000, bDNA and domestic kit had good consistency (90%-100%) and interdependency. Conclusion: All the viral load tests were bio-equivalent. Moreover, according to the conversion formula derived from domestic proficiency test results, all the viral load results could be converted, which is critical for epidemiological analysis.

Abstract
Objective: Hearing loss, one main risk factor of tinnitus and hyperacusis, is believed to involve significant central functional abnormalities. The recruitment of the auditory cortex in non-auditory sensory and higher-order cognitive processing has been demonstrated in the hearing-deprived brain. The dorsolateral prefrontal cortex (dlPFC), which has dense anatomical connections with the auditory pathway, is known to play a crucial role in multi-sensory integration, auditory regulation, and cognitive processing. This study aimed to verify the role of the dlPFC in the cross-modal reorganization and cognitive participation of the auditory cortex in long-term sensorineural hearing loss (SNHL) by combining functional and structural measurements. Methods: Thirty five patients with long-term bilateral SNHL and 35 matched healthy controls underwent structural imaging, resting-state functional magnetic resonance imaging (rs-fMRI), diffusion tensor imaging (DTI), and neuropsychological assessments. Ten SNHL patients were with subjective tinnitus. Results: No differences in gray matter volume, spontaneous neural activity, or diffusion characteristics in the dlPFC were found between the SNHL and control groups. The functional connectivity (FC) between the dlPFC and the auditory cortex and visual areas, such as the cuneus, fusiform, lingual cortex, and calcarine sulcus was increased in patients with SNHL. ANOVA and post hoc tests revealed similar FC alterations in the SNHL patients with and without tinnitus when compared with the normal hearing controls, and SNHL patients with and without tinnitus showed no difference in the dlPFC FC. The FC in the auditory cortex was associated with the symbol digit modality test (SDMT) scores in the SNHL patients, which reflect attentional function, processing speed, and visual working memory. Hearing-related FC with the dlPFC was found in the lingual cortex. A tract-based spatial statistics (TBSS) analysis revealed decreased fractional anisotropy (FA) values, mainly in the temporal inferior fronto-occipital fasciculus (IFOF), which showed remarkable negative correlations with the mean hearing thresholds in SNHL. Conclusion: Higher functional coupling between the dlPFC and auditory and visual areas, accompanied by decreased FA along the IFOF connecting the frontal cortex and the occipito-temporal area, might mediate cross-modal plasticity via top-down regulation and facilitate the involvement of the auditory cortex in higher-order cognitive processing following long-term SNHL.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Irregular menstruation is clinically associated with an increased risk for ovarian cancer and disease-related mortality. This relationship remains poorly understood, and a mechanism explaining it has yet to be described. METHODS Ovarian tissues from women with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) and regular menstruation (n = 10) or irregular menstruation (n = 10) were subjected to DNA methylation sequencing, real-time PCR array, whole-exome sequencing, and bioinformatics analysis. RESULTS We demonstrated that ovarian tissue from PCOS patients with irregular menstruation displayed global DNA hypomethylation, as well as hypomethylation at several functionally and oncologically significant regions. Furthermore, we showed that several cancer-related genes were aberrantly expressed in ovarian tissue from patients with irregular menstruation, and that their mRNA and microRNA profiles shared appreciable levels of coincidence with those from ovarian cancer tissue. We identified multiple point mutations in both the BRCA1 and MLH1 genes in patients with irregular menstruation, and predicted the potential pathogenicity of these mutations using bioinformatics analyses. CONCLUSIONS Due to the nature of ovarian cancer, it is important to broaden our understanding of the pathogenesis and risk factors of the disease. Herein, we provide the first description of a genetic and epigenetic basis for the clinical relationship between irregular menstruation and an increased risk for ovarian cancer.

Abstract
Background Expression of C-C chemokine receptor type 7 (CCR7) is associated with the prognosis of several cancers. The aim of this study was to conduct the meta-analysis to determine the prognostic value of CCR7 expression in solid tumors. Materials and methods We searched for relevant literature in the PubMed, Embase, and Cochrane Library databases (last updated on January 15, 2018). The associations of CCR7 expression with overall survival (OS), disease-free survival (DFS), recurrence-free survival (RFS), progress-free survival (PFS), and disease-specific survival (DSS) were estimated. Results In total, 30 qualified studies including 3,413 patients were enrolled. The results revealed that higher expression of CCR7 predicted poorer OS (pooled HR =1.79; 95% CI =1.49–2.16; P<0.001) and PFS (pooled HR =2.18; 95% CI =1.49–3.18; P<0.001), but was not associated with DFS (pooled HR =1.69; 95% CI =0.79–3.61; P=0.175), RFS (pooled HR =1.29; 95% CI =0.48–3.44; P=0.618), or DSS (pooled HR =3.06; 95% CI =0.38–24.83; P<0.294). Conclusion From this meta-analysis, we concluded that high expression of CCR7 in tumor tissue is associated with poor survival in patients with solid tumors, and may be a prognostic biomarker for tumor progression.
