Abstract
Background This study aims to explore the relationship between physical activity and negative emotions (Depression and anxiety) of high school students and to investigate the mechanisms by which social competence and interpersonal relationships play a role. Methods A random sampling method was used to select 9,504 students from Shandong Province as the survey subjects. The Physical Activity Questionnaire for Adolescents (PAQ-C), Social Adaptive Behavior Scale (SSBS), Quality of Life Scale for Children and Adolescents (QLSCA), and SCL-90 Symptom Checklist were used to conduct the questionnaire survey. Results We found that (1) Physical activity was significantly positively correlated with social competence and interpersonal relationships (r = 0.122, 0.182, p < 0.01), and significantly negatively correlated with high school students' negative emotions (r = -0.125, p < 0.01). Social competence, interpersonal relationships, and negative emotions were significantly negatively correlated (r = -0.295 and -0.403, p < 0.01); (2) Social competence and interpersonal relationships partially mediate the relationship between physical activity and high school students' negative emotions, with mediation effect values of -0.138 and -0.445, respectively; (3) Social competence and interpersonal relationships play a chain mediating role in the relationship between physical activity and high school students' negative emotions, with a mediating effect value of -0.303 and an effect proportion of 25%. Conclusion Our results show that physical activity can reduce the level of negative emotions of high school students and enhance their social competence and interpersonal relationships, thus alleviating their negative emotions.

Abstract
Team-based physical activity (PA) can improve social cognition; however, few studies have investigated the neurobiological mechanism underlying this benefit. Accordingly, a hyper-scanning protocol aimed to determine whether the interbrain synchrony (IBS) is influenced by an acute bout of team-based PA (i.e., tandem rope skipping). Specifically, we had socially avoidant participants (SOA, N=15 dyads) and their age-matched controls (CO, N=16 dyads) performed a computer-based cooperative task while EEG was recorded before and after two different experimental conditions (i.e., 30-min of team-based PA versus sitting). Phase locking value (PLV) was used to measure IBS. Results showed improved frontal gamma band IBS after the team-based PA compared to sitting when participants received successful feedback in the task (Mskipping = 0.016, Msittting = -0.009, p = 0.082, ηp2 = 0.387). The CO group showed a larger change in frontal and central gamma band IBS when provided failure feedback in the task (Mskipping = 0.017, Msittting = -0.009, p = 0.075, ηp2 = 0.313). Thus, results suggest that socially avoidant individuals may benefit from team-based PA via improved interbrain synchrony. Moreover, our findings deepen our understanding of the neurobiological mechanism by which team-based PA may improve social cognition among individuals with or without social avoidance.

Abstract
The high incidence of adolescent depression has become the focus of social and academic attention. Exercise is an important method to improve adolescent depression, but its intervention effect is still controversial. This study first compares and analyzes the relevant studies at home and abroad and finds that exercise prescription in adolescent depression intervention is not accurate enough. A meta-analysis was conducted to develop a precise exercise intervention strategy for adolescent depression. Firstly, this thesis identified how to optimize five elements (exercise intensity, exercise frequency, exercise time, exercise cycle, and exercise type) of exercise prescription to improve depression in adolescents. This is the problem. Furthermore, the concept of "precision exercise" was proposed, and a precision exercise intervention strategy (moderate-intensity aerobic exercise for 8-10 weeks, 3 times/week, 45-50 min/time) was constructed to improve adolescent depression. This paper also presents research that strengthens the cross-sectional research and empirical research on adolescent depression and establishes a precision exercise prescription database for adolescent depression in China. In conclusion, this study not only puts forward the concept of "precision exercise" but also constructs a precision exercise intervention strategy for adolescent depression, which has important theoretical and practical significance for improving the high incidence of adolescent depression.

Abstract
This study aims to examine whether there is a difference in the sequential effect of depression on academic performance through peer relationships in Chinese adolescents based on gender and physical activity by using longitudinal data. Data from 7170 people from the China Education Panel Survey (CEPS) were used for analysis. The analysis showed that the indirect effect of depression on academic performance through peer relationships varied depending on gender and physical activity. Specifically, in male students experiencing depression, there was an indirect effect on academic performance through peer relationships in both high and low physical activity groups. In female students experiencing depression, the indirect effect on academic performance through peer relationships was offset if they participated more in physical activity. In other words, for female students participating in physical activity, improvement in peer relationships did not lead to higher academic performance, whereas for male students, improvement in academic performance could be anticipated by improving peer relationships regardless of participation in physical activity. Moreover, since peer relationships play a critical role in improving the academic performance of adolescents experiencing depression, it is important to develop a physical activity or sports program to strengthen peer relationships to improve academic performance.
