Abstract
BACKGROUND The integration of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) in kidney care has seen a significant rise in recent years. This study specifically analyzed AI and ML research publications related to kidney care to identify leading authors, institutions, and countries in this area. It aimed to examine publication trends and patterns, and to explore the impact of collaborative efforts on citation metrics. METHODS The study used the Science Citation Index Expanded (SCI-EXPANDED) of Clarivate Analytics Web of Science Core Collection to search for AI and machine learning publications related to nephrology from 1992 to 2021. The authors used quotation marks and Boolean operator "or" to search for keywords in the title, abstract, author keywords, and Keywords Plus. In addition, the 'front page' filter was applied. A total of 5425 documents were identified and analyzed. RESULTS The results showed that articles represent 75% of the analyzed documents, with an average author to publications ratio of 7.4 and an average number of citations per publication in 2021 of 18. English articles had a higher citation rate than non-English articles. The USA dominated in all publication indicators, followed by China. Notably, the research also showed that collaborative efforts tend to result in higher citation rates. A significant portion of the publications were found in urology journals, emphasizing the broader scope of kidney care beyond traditional nephrology. CONCLUSIONS The findings underscore the importance of AI and ML in enhancing kidney care, offering a roadmap for future research and implementation in this expanding field.

Abstract
Background Parkinson's disease (PD), characterized by the loss of dopaminergic neurons, is a progressive neurodegenerative disorder. Recent research has revealed a significant connection between gut microbiota and PD. To gain insight into research interests, disciplinary contexts, and potential future directions, a comprehensive bibliometric analysis was conducted on the brain-gut axis and PD literature published between 2014 and 2023. Methods Relevant literature records were gathered from the Web of Science Core Collection on August 11, 2023. The data were then analyzed by Biblioshiny R packages and VOSviewer (version 1.6.19). Results The dataset revealed an upward trend in annual scientific publications on the brain-gut axis and PD, with an annual growth rate of 50.24%. China, the United States, and Italy were the top three most productive countries/regions. The journal "International Journal Of Molecular Sciences" published the most articles, while "Movement Disorders" received the highest number of citations. Professor Keshavarzian A emerged as the most prolific author, while Professor Scheperjans F held the highest h-index. Keyword analysis highlighted "alpha-synuclein" as the most frequent term, with "mouse model," "inflammation," and "risk" as emerging research topics. Additionally, "central nervous system" and "intestinal bacterial overgrowth" attracted increasing attention. Conclusion This study examined current trends and hotspots in the bibliometric landscape of the brain-gut axis and PD research. Future research directions should explore the functional and metabolic activities of gut microbiota. Additionally, transitioning from observational to interventional study designs offers the potential for personalized interventions and disease prediction. These findings can guide researchers in navigating the latest developments and shaping the future directions of this field.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Bruxism is an umbrella term that encompass a multidimensional spectrum of masticatory muscle activities. OBJECTIVE The purpose of this study was to do a bibliometric analysis including citation performance in the research topic of bruxism, by using an innovative method including details of article title, author keyword, KeyWords Plus and abstracts. METHODS The data were retrieved 2022-12-19 from the Clarivate Analytics Web of Science Core Collection, and the online version of the Science Citation Index Expanded (SCI-EXPANDED) for studies published 1992 to 2021. To evaluate research trends, the distribution of keywords in the article title and author-selected keywords were used. RESULTS The search yielded 3233 documents in SCI-EXPANDED, of which 2598 were of the document-type 'articles' published in 676 journals. The analysis of the articles revealed that "bruxism/sleep bruxism," "electromyography," "temporomandibular disorders" and "masticatory muscles" are the most used keywords by the authors. Further, the most frequently cited study was published 9 years ago and handles the present definition of bruxism. CONCLUSION The most productive authors and those with the highest performance have some common features; they have several national and international collaborations; and they have published articles about the definition, aetiology/pathophysiology and prevalence of bruxism, all senior researchers in the field of TMD. Hopefully, based on this study, researchers and clinicians will have information to be stimulated to outline future research projects on bruxism-related aspects, and to initiate new international or multinational collaborations.

Abstract
Many papers used the Web of Science Core Collection (WOSCC) as the data source. The work by Liu (2019, Scientometrics) revealed that only 48 % of such papers published in information science and library science journals during 2017-2018 specified which sub-datasets they used, and subsequently urged researchers to provide such information together with the corresponding coverage timespans to improve transparency and reproducibility. This work revisited this issue to reveal if the current condition has improved following Liu's recommendations. Using WOSCC, 934 bibliometric open-access papers published during 2020-2022 in non-information science and library science journals were evaluated. Of these 934 papers, 45.0 % specified the sub-datasets of WOSCC they used for data collection, and 4.8 % specified the coverage timespan(s) of corresponding sub-datasets or the overall dataset. There seemed to be no improvement in the specification of data source using WOSCC.

Abstract
The recovery and utilisation of waste heat from flue/exhaust gases (RU/WHFG) could potentially provide sustainable energy while curbing pollutant emissions. Over time, the RU/WHFG research landscape has gained significant traction and yielded innovative technologies, sustainable strategies, and publications. However, critical studies highlighting current advancements, publication trends, research hotspots, major stakeholders, and future research directions on RU/WHFG research remain lacking. Therefore, this paper presents a comprehensive bibliometric analysis and literature review of the RU/WHFG research landscape based on publications indexed in Scopus. Results showed that 123 publications and 2191 citations were recovered between 2010 and 2022. Publication trends revealed that the growing interest in RU/WHFG is mainly due to environmental concerns (e.g. pollution, global warming, and climate change), research collaborations, and funding availability. Stakeholder analysis revealed that numerous researchers, affiliations, and countries have actively contributed to the growth and development of RU/WHFG. Lin Fu and Tsinghua University (China) are the most prolific researchers and affiliations, whereas the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) and China are the most prolific funder and country, respectively. Funding availability from influential schemes such as NSFC has accounted for China's dominance. Keyword co-occurrence identified three major research hotspots, namely, thermal energy utilisation and management (cluster 1), integrated energy and resource recovery (cluster 2), and system analysis and optimisation (cluster 3). Literature review revealed that researchers are currently focused on maximising thermodynamic/energy efficiency, fuel minimisation, and emission reduction. Despite progress, research gaps remain in low-temperature/low-grade waste heat recovery, utilisation, storage, life cycle, and environmental impact analysis.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Cryoablation is an interdisciplinary, widely used treatment approach for several types of solid tumors, making it difficult to obtain a comprehensive picture of its current status and popular research topics. This study aimed to use a bibliometric approach to understand important research themes and trends in cryoablation and oncology. METHODS Literature studies on cryoablation and oncology from 2001 to 2020 were extracted from the Web of Science. A bibliometric analysis was performed based on the annual publication volume, several journal articles and local citation score, and distribution of keywords and trends in the literature using tools such as COOC version 9.94, VOSviewer version 1.6.17, and the bibliometrix version 3.1.3 R package. RESULTS This study included 2793 publications. Total yearly publications have plateaued over the last 20 years. Five research themes were presented in the keyword network, including clinical applications of cryoablation in liver, lung, kidney, prostate, and skin cancers and comparison of cryoablation with other energy ablations. After 2012, 2 new research topics emerged: synergy between cryoablation and immunotherapy in tumors and cryoablation of Barrett esophagus. The high cited literatures are dominated by studies related to cryoablation for renal and prostate cancer treatment, but they also reflect the recent increasing interest in immunotherapy and bone metastases. Twenty important journals were identified, with Cryobiology publishing the most articles. CONCLUSION Bibliometric analysis of studies related to tumor cryoablation can help researchers rapidly comprehend popular topics and determine future trends, guiding future research directions.

Abstract
BackgroundIncreasing evidence has spurred a considerable evolution of concepts related to atherosclerosis, prompting the need to provide a comprehensive view of the growing literature. By retrieving publications in the Web of Science Core Collection (WoSCC) of Clarivate Analytics, we conducted a bibliometric analysis of the scientific literature on atherosclerosis to describe the research landscape.MethodsA search was conducted of the WoSCC for articles and reviews serving exclusively as a source of information on atherosclerosis published between 2012 and 2022. Microsoft Excel 2019 was used to chart the annual productivity of research relevant to atherosclerosis. Through CiteSpace and VOSviewer, the most prolific countries or regions, authors, journals, and resource-, intellectual-, and knowledge-sharing in atherosclerosis research, as well as co-citation analysis of references and keywords, were analyzed.ResultsA total of 20,014 publications were retrieved. In terms of publications, the United States remains the most productive country (6,390, 31,93%). The most publications have been contributed by Johns Hopkins Univ (730, 3.65%). ALVARO ALONSO produced the most published works (171, 0.85%). With a betweenness centrality of 0.17, ERIN D MICHOS was the most influential author. The most prolific journal was identified as Atherosclerosis (893, 4.46%). Circulation received the most co-citations (14,939, 2.79%). Keywords with the ongoing strong citation bursts were “nucleotide-binding oligomerization (NOD), Leucine-rich repeat (LRR)-containing protein (NLRP3) inflammasome,” “short-chain fatty acids (SCFAs),” “exosome,” and “homeostasis,” etc.ConclusionThe research on atherosclerosis is driven mostly by North America and Europe. Intensive research has focused on the link between inflammation and atherosclerosis, as well as its complications. Specifically, the NLRP3 inflammasome, interleukin-1β, gut microbiota and SCFAs, exosome, long non-coding RNAs, autophagy, and cellular senescence were described to be hot issues in the field.

Abstract
Background Pancreatic stellate cells (PSCs) play crucial roles in acute/chronic pancreatitis and pancreatic cancer. In this study, bibliometric analysis was used to quantitatively and qualitatively analyze the literature related to PSCs from 1998-2021 to summarize the current trends and research topics in this field. Methods Relevant literature data were downloaded from the Science Citation Index Expanded Web of Science Core Collection (WoSCC) on April 07, 2021, using Clarivate Analytics. Biblioshiny R packages, VOSviewer, Citespace, BICOMB, gCLUTO, and the Online Analysis Platform of Literature Metrology (http://bibliometric.com) were used to analyze the manually selected data. Results A total of 958 relevant studies published in 48 countries or regions were identified. The United States of America (USA) had the highest number of publications, followed by the People's Republic of China, Germany, and Japan. Tohoku University (Japan), the University of New South Wales (Australia), the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center (USA), Technical University of Munich (Germany), and University of Rostock (Germany) were the top five institutions with most publications. Nine major clusters were generated using reference co-citation analysis. Keyword burst detection revealed that progression (2016-2021), microenvironment (2016-2021), and tumor microenvironment (2017-2021) were the current frontier keywords. Biclustering analysis identified five research hotspots in the field of PSCs during 1998-2021. Conclusion In this study, a scientometric analysis of 958 original documents related to PSCs showed that the research topics of these studies are likely in the transition from acute/chronic pancreatitis to pancreatic cancer. The current research trends regarding PSCs are related to pancreatic cancer, such as tumor microenvironment. This study summarizes five research hotspots in the field of PSCs between 1998 and 2021 and thus may provide insights for future research.

Abstract
Per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFASs) are widely used in food packaging, non-stick pots, and surfactants. However, their persistence in the environment, hazardous nature, and potential for bioaccumulation and long-range transport have alarmed an increasing number of scholars and research institutions. Although several literature reviews on PFASs research exist, only a few of them have considered bibliometric indices. In this study, 3,373 PFASs-related articles published between 2001 and 2018 were analyzed using a bibliometric analysis method based on the Science Citation Index (SCI) Expanded. The software tools for mapping knowledge domain (MKD) (VOSviewer and Science of Science (Sci2)) were used to analyze the performance of contributors and PFASs research topics, hotspots, and trends. Our results reveal that the number of PFASs-related articles published annually has increased significantly, with most originating from the United States (followed by those from China). The Chinese Academy of Sciences has published the most articles. A comprehensive analysis of title, keywords, and keywords plus showed that PFASs research hotspots include humans, precursors, and detection methods, with the main focuses being environmental science, toxicology, and environmental engineering. The four main research topics of PFASs were identified, and a literature review was carried out for each one. Overall, this study can supply researchers with a deeper understanding of the development of PFASs studies and provide a comprehensive data reference for researchers to further grasp the research direction in this field.

Abstract
Diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) is a subtype of non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL) with the highest incidence, accounting for approximately one-third of NHL cases. Given the accumulated scientific publications related to the DLBCL domain, this study aimed to provide a comprehensive review of DLBCL studies from this millennium using the bibliometric method. With a strict retrieval strategy applied in the Web of Science database, a total of 10,869 publications from 2001 to 2020 were obtained and exported. The temporal and geographical distribution of these publications and the performance of contributing countries, institutions, journals, and authors corresponding to these documents were investigated, as well as an in-depth content analysis through keyword co-occurrence. With regard to the most productive countries, the United States ranks first with 2344 (21.6%) publications and shows the most frequent collaborations with other countries. By contrast, China has demonstrated remarkable performance in the growth rate of publications over the years, and it ranks first in the number of publications in the last five years. The University of Texas System is the institution with the highest number of published articles (4.99%). Leukemia Lymphoma is the journal with the highest number of publications in this field which contributed 588 articles. Solid and close collaborations between scholars are becoming more frequent over the four five-year periods. Overall, the highest cooperation frequency in the last two decades happens to Gascoyne RD at the British Columbia Cancer Agency and British Columbia Cancer Research Center in Canada. By comparing the article citation and keyword co-occurrence in each five-year period, as well as the changes in keyword clusters over two decades, we conclude that the stage, evaluation, prognosis, and treatment of DLBCL have always been the research hotspots in this field. Meanwhile, the evolution of keyword co-occurrence over the years demonstrates that new clusters appear. For instance, the effect of ferroptosis mechanism in DLBCL, immunotherapy for DLBCL, and PDL-1, PDL-2, and CAR-T therapy have drawn increasing attention from academia. Our research highlights the key characteristics of DLBCL research and provides comprehensive insights into the research status and evolutions in this field.

Abstract
ObjectiveThe aim of this study was to explore hotspots and global research trends on optical coherence tomography (OCT) in the ophthalmic imaging field using the bibliometric technique.MethodsDocuments related to OCT in the ophthalmic imaging field between 2011 and 2020 were extracted from the Science Citation Index (SCI) Expanded database. Downloaded raw data were analyzed using the VOSviewer and CiteSpace software. Bibliometric networks, including publication number per year, countries, authors, journals, international collaborations, and keywords were constructed.ResultsA total of 4,270 peer-reviewed documents were retrieved, and annual research output in the past 10 years has increased significantly. The largest publishing country was the United States, and the most productive journal was Investigative Ophthalmology and Visual Science (IOVS). The most active academic institution was the University of California, Los Angeles, and the top rank publishing author was Duker JS. The most co-cited references mainly focused on new emerging OCT techniques such as spectral domain optical coherence tomography (SD-OCT) and optical coherence tomography angiography (OCTA).ConclusionThe bibliometric analysis of development trends on OCT in the ophthalmic imaging field on various aspects could provide developers or researchers with valuable information to propose future research directions and to pursue further cooperation.

Abstract
Eutrophication is a long-standing ecological and environmental problem, and the severity of harmful algal blooms continues to increase, causing large economic losses globally. One of the most important hazards created by harmful algal blooms is the production of cyanotoxins. This study aimed to analyze the characteristics and development trends of cyanotoxin research through bibliometric analysis. A total of 3265 publications from 1990 to 2020 on cyanotoxins were retrieved from the Science Citation Index (SCI) Expanded database, Web of Science. Over the past 30 years, most research has been concentrated in China (21.4%) and the USA (21.3%). Throughout the study period, microcystin was the focus of the research, accounting for 86% of the total number of publications. A word frequency analysis revealed that as people became more aware of drinking water safety and the construction of large-scale water conservation facilities, “reservoirs” and “rivers” became hot words for researchers, while “lakes” have always been important research objects. Nonmetric multidimensional scaling (NMDS) analysis of studies from the five countries with the largest numbers of publications showed that Chinese researchers typically associate eutrophication with Microcystis, while research subjects in other countries are more extensive and balanced. The development of cyanotoxin research around the world is not even, and we need to push for more research on major lakes that are outside of North America, Europe and China.

Abstract
To gain insight into the trend of bacterial nanocellulose research, a bibliometric analysis was performed using the Science Citation Index Expanded database from 2005 to 2020. The study concentrated on the publication's performance in terms of annual outputs and citations, mainstream journals, categories of the Web of Sciences, leading countries, prominent institutions, and trends in research. Current research priorities and future trends were analyzed after summarizing the most commonly used keywords extracted from words in the paper title analysis, authors' keyword analysis, and KeyWords Plus. The findings revealed that the annual output in the form of scholarly articles on bacterial nanocellulose research steadily increased during the first quartile of the study period, followed by a very rapid increase in the last five-years of the study. Increasing mechanical strength would remain the main future focus of bacterial nanocellulose research to create its scope in different field of applications.

Abstract
Q fever is a worldwide distributed zoonosis caused by Coxiella burnetii, a Gram-negative bacterium. Despite existence of large amount of research data on the developments related to Q fever, no bibliometric analysis of this subject is available to our knowledge. Bibliometric studies are an essential resource to track scholarly trends and research output in a subject. This study is aimed at reporting a bibliometric analysis of publications related to Q fever (2,840 articles published in the period 1990-2019) retrieved from Science Citation Index Expanded, an online database of Clarivate Analytics Web of Science Core Collection. Data was retrieved using keywords “Q fever” or “Coxiella burnetii” in title, abstract, and author keywords to describe important research indicators such as the kind and language of articles, the most important publications, research journals and categories, authors, institutions, and the countries having the most significant contribution to this subject. Finally, the emerging areas in field of diagnosis, host range, and clinical presentation were identified. Word cluster analysis of research related to Q fever revealed that major focus of research has been on zoonosis, seroprevalence, laboratory diagnosis (mainly using ELISA and PCR), clinical manifestations (abortion and endocarditis), vectors (ticks), and hosts (sheep, goat, and cattle). This bibliometric study is intended to visualize the existing research landscape and future trends in Q fever to assist in future knowledge exchange and research collaborations.

Abstract
A lot of research on international convention-controlled halogenated gases (CHGs) has been carried out. However, few bibliometric analyses and literature reviews exist in this field. Based on 734 articles extracted from the Science Citation Index (SCI) Expanded database of the Web of Science, we provided the visualisation for the performance of contributors and trends in research content by using VOSviewer and Science of Science (Sci2). The results showed that the United States was the most productive country, followed by the United Kingdom and China. The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration had the largest number of publications, followed by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and the University of Bristol. In terms of disciplines, environmental science and meteorological and atmospheric science have contributed the most. By using cluster analysis of all keywords, four key research topics of CHGs were identified and reviewed: (1) emissions calculation, (2) physicochemical analysis of halocarbons, (3) evaluation of replacements, and (4) environmental impact. The change in research substances is closely related to the phase-out schedule of the Montreal Protocol. In terms of environmental impact, global warming has always been the most important research hotspot, whereas research on ozone-depleting substances and biological toxicity shows a gradually rising trend.

Abstract
Mangroves are one the most productive ecosystems on Earth, and they are geographically located in the tropics and sub-tropics. Notwithstanding their critical role in providing a large number of environmental services and benefits as well as livelihood provisions, mangrove forests are being lost globally at an alarming rate. At the same time, they are increasingly recognized as a cost-effective nature-based climate solution for their carbon sequestration and storage capacity. Despite their enormous importance to people’s lives and the ecosystem, no bibliometric study on this topic has been published to our knowledge. Here, we provide a bibliometric analysis of the research on mangroves with research trends, most influential research based on citation count, and the origins (country and institution) of major research. Using the Science Citation Index Expanded (SCI-EXPANDED) database of the Web of Science Core Collection (Clarivate Analytics), we identified 13,918 documents published between 1990 and 2019. Nevertheless, 12,955 articles met our final criteria and were analyzed in detail. Six publications and their citations per publication (CPP2019) were applied to evaluate the publication performance of countries and institutes. When considering the top ten Web of Science subject categories, articles published on the ecology of mangroves had the highest CPP2019 of 28. Environmental sciences have been the major category since 2013. The USA dominated the total articles and single-author articles. The USA was also the most frequent partner of international collaborative publications. China published the most single-country articles, first-author articles, and corresponding-author articles. However, articles by the USA and Australia had a higher CPP2019. Sun Yat Sen University in China was the most active university. The Australian Institute of Marine Science dominated all kinds of publications with the top CPP2019. Together with the USA, Australia, China, India, Brazil, and Japan ranked both the top six on total publications and total publications in 2019. Our bibliometric study provides useful visualization of the past and current landscape of research on mangroves and emerging fields, to facilitate future research collaboration and knowledge exchange.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE The aim of this study was to analyze the characteristics of the COVID-19 publications in the ten psychology-related Web of Science categories in the social science citation index 10-month following the COVID-19 outbreak. METHODS Six publication indicators were examined across authors, institutions, and countries. RESULTS Analyses showed that the United States has produced the highest number of empirical investigations into the psychological impact of COVID-19, and the majority of the research across all countries was in clinical and psychopathology. Distribution of journals and psychology-related Web of Science categories were analyzed. Frequently used words in article title, author keywords, and KeyWords Plus were also presented. CONCLUSIONS The findings suggest that there are substantial clinical implications associated with COVID-19. There are recommendations offered for future research and clinical practice.

Abstract
Our objective in this review was to determine (1) impactful research articles about CRISPR-edited stem cells, (2) factors that affected CRISPR method performance in stem cell, and (3) research design related to CRISPR-edited stem cells. Screening research papers of related topic was carried out by using the Science Citation Index Expanded (SCIE) database of the Clarivate Analytics Web of Science Core Collection updated. We screened impactful CRISPR/Cas9-edited stem cells based on total citation until 2020. The result showed the title “RNA-guided human genome engineering via Cas9” was the highest citation in stem cell research using the CRISPR method with total citation 4789 from Web of Science Core Collection until 2020. It became the most influenced paper because this was the first research using CRISPR method for modifying human cells. On the other hand, cell type, CRISPR/Cas9 delivery, and gene target affected CRISPR/Cas9 performance in stem cells. The more complex the cell structure, the more difficult for CRISPR/Cas9 to mutate the host cells. This problem could be solved by modifying the CRISPR/Cas9 delivery by liposome and SaCas9 modification. Another way was using ribonucleoprotein (RNP) as a delivery method. Then, double gene target was more difficult to execute than single gene target. Although it is difficult, CRISPR/Cas9 had the capability to target any genome region from promoter until intron. Research design used a combination of dry lab and wet lab. The dry lab is usually used for sequence analysis and gRNA design. The wet lab which consisted of in vitro and in vivo was used for gene characterization. In particular, colony selection, DNA analysis, and sequencing were important parts for in vitro research design, while DNA analysis and sequencing were crucial parts for in vivo research design. We hoped these findings could give researchers, investor, and students a guideline to conduct CRISPR-edited stem cells in the future.

Abstract
BACKGROUND The present study aims to identify and analyze the characteristics of highly cited publications on Multiple sclerosis in the Science Citation Index Expanded. METHODS Documents that had 100 citations or more were considered as the highly cited documents. Highly cited publications were analyzed in the distribution of document types, languages, publication years, Web of Science categories, and journals as well as publication performance of countries, institutions, and authors. The six and five publication indicators were applied to compare publications of the countries and the institutes respectively. Highly cited authors were analyzed by Y-index. RESULTS In general, articles spent about 12 years to be highly cited articles. The USA dominated the production by the six publication indicators. Harvard University was the most active in research on multiple sclerosis while the University of California, Los Angeles in the USA shows the most independent research. M. Filippi was recognized as the most productive author who had the most articles as the corresponding author. CONCLUSION The findings may be of interest to multiple sclerosis researchers and policymakers all around the world.

Abstract
Background Keloids remain troublesome for clinicians because of the lack of standard therapy, and the underlying mechanisms are still unclear. Bibliometric analysis could be a powerful tool to comprehensively review research trends, evaluate publication performances and provide future perspectives. There is no bibliometric analysis focusing on keloid research. Methods Keloid related publications were searched in Web of Science Core Collection from the publication year 1990 to 2019. Bibliometric data were provided on document type, annual publication number, most productive journals, publication geography, top potential authors, and highly cited articles. The distribution of single words in article titles was analyzed to evaluate the main research focuses and determine their development trends. Word cluster analysis was further performed to detect emerging trends in keloid research. Results The number of annual articles increased from 24 in 1990 to 63 in 2006 and then increased sharply, reaching 139 in 2019. Dermatologic Surgery published the highest number of articles followed by Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. The USA ranked top with six publication indicators and China had a dramatic increase in the annual number of articles since 2012. Recent research hotspots include underlying pathogenetic mechanisms, keloid treatment, and therapeutic effect evaluation. Discussion Keloids remain a research focus. Efforts will be continuously made to understand the underlying mechanism of keloid formation. Despite many treatment modalities, there is no gold standard for keloid treatment, and many efforts are being made in the exploration of new therapies. Moreover, it is foreseeable that objective measurement tools will have a higher status in the assessment of keloids and scars.

Abstract
Nitrogen-doped magnetic mesoporous hollow carbon (NMMHC) was prepared to realize effective adsorption of phenol from wastewater. The chemical and physical properties of NMMHC were analyzed, and the effects of adsorption time, initial pH, and phenol concentration on the adsorption capacity of NMMHC were studied. Adsorption kinetics and isotherm models were used to explain the adsorption properties. The results showed that the specific surface area, type of nitrogen group, and nitrogen content of NMMHC are related to the carbonization temperature. Chemical interaction was demonstrated to be present in the process of adsorption, which was characterized as monolayer adsorption. In addition, the adsorption mechanism was studied by attenuated total internal reflectance Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy and analysis of non-covalent interactions. This study found that non-covalent interactions between NMMHC and phenol molecules are van der Waals interactions, and nitrogen-containing groups increase the phenol adsorption capacity by enhancing such interactions. The π-π interactions between the nitrogen groups and phenol molecules also enhanced the adsorption energy.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Nonunion continues to be the most frequent and challenging complication to treat following fracture fixation. Herein, we carried out a bibliometric analysis aiming to identify the key researchers, centres and research trends developed during the past 30 years in this important clinical condition. METHODS The Science Citation Index Expanded database and the Web of Science Core Collection were interrogated for manuscripts published between 1990 and 2019 in the topic domain, utilising title, abstract, author keywords and KeyWords Plus. Overall, such citation indicators were used as TCyear, Cyear and CPPyear to help analyse the identified manuscripts. RESULTS Over the prespecified period, there was a steady increase in the number of articles published in fracture nonunion. In total, 12 languages were the primary languages in the documents, with English being the most prevalent. The CPP sharply increased to reach a plateau in three full years and up to a peak in ten full years. A total of 8976 nonunion-related articles in Science Citation Index Expanded (SCI-EXPANDED) were published in 790 journals. The 8976 articles were published by 26,079 authors among 101 different countries. There is a slightly fluctuating steady increase of articles from 116 in 1991 to 201 in 2003, and thereafter, the number of articles sharply increased to reach a plateau in 2015. Seven possible main research foci in nonunion-related research were identified including: epidemiology, classification, aetiology, diagnosis/prediction, treatment modalities, functional outcomes and health economics. CONCLUSIONS This bibliometric analysis revealed information on citation number, publication outputs, categories, journals, institutions, countries, research highlights and tendencies. The current research activity on fracture nonunion identified key opinion leaders and leading research institutions focusing on this important clinical condition. It is hoped that the informed included will aid to guide research work in the foreseeable future.

Abstract
Background The need for postmastectomy breast reconstruction surgery has increased dramatically, and significant progress has been made both in implant and autologous based breast reconstruction in recent decades. In this paper, we performed a bibliometric analysis with the aim of providing an overview of the developments in breast reconstruction research and insight into the research trends. Methods We searched the Science Citation Index Expanded database and the Web of Science Core Collection for articles published between 1991 to 2018 in the topic domain, using title, abstract, author keywords, and KeyWords Plus. Four citation indicators TCyear, Cyear, C0 and CPPyear were employed to help analyse the identified articles. Results The number of scientific articles in breast reconstruction in this period steadily increased. It took most articles nearly a decade to hit a plateau in terms of citation counts. Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Annals of Plastic Surgery, and Journal of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery published the largest number of articles on breast reconstruction. Nine of the top ten most prolific publications were based in the USA. The research highlights related to breast reconstruction were implant-based breast reconstruction, deep inferior epigastric perforator (DIEP) flap breast reconstruction, and superficial inferior epigastric artery (SIEA) flap breast reconstruction. Conclusions This bibliometric analysis yielded data on citation number, publication outputs, categories, journals, institutions, countries, research highlights and tendencies. It helps to picture the panorama of breast reconstruction research, and guide the future research work.

Abstract
Fenton based treatments have received tremendous attention in the recent decades as viable strategies for soil and water remediation. There exist different processes associated to the Fenton oxidation. Efficiency, reaction chemistry, and environmental consequences of these processes vary according to the iron (Fe) activation techniques such as soluble Fe(II) (homogeneous Fenton process), soluble Fe(II) and chelating agent (modified-Fenton), Fe minerals or solids (heterogeneous Fenton), iron and UV light (photo-Fenton) and electro-Fenton oxidation. Despite immense amount of research articles and reviews related to the Fenton oxidation, no bibliometric study of this topic has been published to our knowledge. Bibliometric studies provide a useful means to track research output and scholarly trends in a field. Here, we conducted a bibliometric study of the publications on this theme (>4000 documents) published during the past three decades available from the Science Citation Index Expanded (SCI-EXPANDED) database of the Web of Science Core Collection (Clarivate Analytics). Based on the bibliometric analysis of 4349 documents, various essential research indicators were described such as the type and language of publications, the most prominent authors in this theme, the most impactful articles, research categories, journals, institutions, and the countries, that have made the greatest contribution to this theme along with potential research hotspots. This bibliometric study allowed visualization of the current landscape and future trends in this field to facilitate the future collaborative research and exchange of knowledge.

Abstract
This paper presents the research landscape on microplastics and nanoplastics (M/NPs) in global food webs based on a bibliometric analysis of 330 publications published in 2009-2019 extracted from Web of Science. The publications increased tremendously since 2013. Marine Pollution Bulletin is one of the top productive journals for this topic. The publication landscape related to M/NPs in global food webs, as interdisciplinary research, is highly dependent on the funding availability. The high productivities of England, China, USA and European countries are attributed to the funding from the agencies at regional or national levels. Keyword analysis reveals the shift of research hotspots from investigations on M/NPs absorbed by various organisms in the ecosystems to studies on the trophic transfer of M/NPs and sorbed contaminants in the food webs and their associated adverse impacts. Funding agencies play important roles in leading the future development of this topic.

Abstract
The COVID-19 pandemic caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus has sickened more than six million people worldwide. This context has led to an abundance of publications quickly since the beginning of the outbreak. In a few months, thousands of scientific papers have appeared. This article aims to provide a bibliometric analysis of the publications on COVID-19 in five high-impact journals indexed to the Web of Science Core Collection's Science Citation Index Expanded (SCI-EXPANDED) including The Lancet, New England Journal of Medicine, Science, Nature, and JAMA-Journal of the American Medical Association. We found 169 documents associated with the search criteria. The findings indicate that China, the United States, and the United Kingdom are the most represented countries in these publications, The Lancet is the journal with the highest number of contributions with 66% of documents, and the University of Hong Kong leads the ranking of institutions. Future bibliometric and scientometric studies on COVID-19 should provide updated information to analyse other relevant indicators in this field.

Abstract
Recently, Dr. Yuh-shan Ho discussed the search methods of the paper "Dynamic analysis of international green behavior from the perspective of the mapping knowledge domain" Li et al. (Environ Sci Pollut Res 26:6087-6098, 2019a). In fact, Ho and co-workers have used the search methods in several papers Ivanović et al. (Scientometrics, 105:145-160, 2015); Monge-Nájera & Ho (Rev Biol Trop 63:1255-1266, 2015); Ho & Hartley (Br J Psychol, 107:768-780, 2016). In order to reply to the comments, this letter supplementarily explains the characteristics, scope, and limitations of search methods. In addition, the letter states that researchers can use improved methods suggested by Dr. Ho in future studies.

Abstract
The concentration of carbon dioxide in the air has risen sharply due to the use of fossil fuels, causing environmental problems such as the greenhouse effect, which seriously threatens humans’ living environment. Reducing carbon dioxide emissions while addressing energy shortages requires the conversion of CO2 into high added-value products. In this paper, the status of CO2 conversion research in the past ten years is analyzed using the bibliometric method; the influence of countries and institutions, journal article statistics and other aspects are statistically analyzed, and the research status of carbon dioxide catalytic conversion is briefly introduced. Finally, according to the analysis results and the existing problems of CO2 catalytic conversion research, the future development direction of CO2 catalytic conversion research is prospected.
