Abstract
Cancer treatment requires novel compounds with potent cytotoxic and genotoxic properties to effectively target cancer cells. In this study, new hybrid cyclotriphosphazene compounds were synthesized, characterized, and evaluated for their biological activity. Cytotoxicity against A2780 and Caco-2 cancer cell lines was assessed via the MTT assay, while genotoxic effects at 60-70% cell viability were examined using the Comet assay. Apoptotic cells were identified through TUNEL analyses, and reactive oxygen species levels were measured. Results showed that these compounds significantly reduced cell viability through DNA damage mechanisms. At high doses (50-100 µM), BV, BVK1, BVK2, and BVK4 decreased A2780 cell viability by 30-65%, whereas VPA had a milder effect (15-25%). In Caco-2 cells, viability was reduced by 10-35%. The compounds exhibited varying cytotoxicity across different cancer cell lines, reflecting cancer cell heterogeneity. Significant DNA damage, including changes in tail length, tail density, and tail moment, was observed in A2780 cells, confirming cell death via DNA damage. Molecular docking analyses further supported the potential of cyclotriphosphazene compounds (BV and BVK2) as targeted cancer inhibitors. Molecular docking revealed BVK2's high selectivity for Bcl-2, mutant p53, and VEGFR2. BVK2 and BV demonstrate strong binding affinities with key cancer-related targets, indicating their potential as multi-targeted inhibitors that regulate apoptosis, cell cycle control, and angiogenesis, making them promising candidates for targeted cancer therapy.

Ferrocene Chalcone Enhanced Cyclotriphosphazene Photodiode Systems via Click Chemistry: Their Synthesis, Electrical, and Photophysical Properties. Inorg Chem 2024; 63:21130-21142. Abstract
In this study, a new ferrocene-decorated cyclotriphosphazene compound (4) was obtained by the interaction of ferrocene chalcone with azide end groups (2) and spirophosphazene (3) bearing alkyne groups using the click method. The structures of all compounds were confirmed using Fourier transform infrared, 1H, 13C APT, and 31P NMR, and MS techniques. The optical band gaps of compounds were measured, showing values of 4.75 eV for 3, 3.53 eV for 2, and 3.46 eV for final product 4. The optical band gap of compound 4 calculated by density functional theory is 3.28 eV. The electrical properties of the compounds were investigated against the frequency. The results showed that the conduction mechanism is based on the hopping model. New types of diodes were prepared by using compounds 2 and 4. The current-voltage characteristics of the compound 4 diode showed good rectification behavior. The rectification ratio of the heterojunction diode was calculated as 629. The ideality factors were 3.35 for 2 and 7.57 for 4. The barrier heights were 0.68 and 0.92, respectively. Under sunlight (20-100 mW/cm2), both diodes exhibited photodiode properties, with compound 4 being more sensitive to light. This indicates that the diodes can be used in optoelectronic devices due to their photoconductive behavior.

Abstract
In this study, we aimed to synthesize new peptide-substituted cyclotriphosphazenes from a series of tyrosine-based peptides and dioxyphenyl-substituted spirocyclotriphosphazenes, and to evaluate their in vitro cytotoxicity and genotoxicity activities. Genotoxicity studies were conducted to understand whether the cytotoxic compounds cause cell death through DNA damage. The structures of the novel series of phosphazenes were characterized by FT-IR, elemental analysis, MS, 1D (31P, 1H, and 13C-APT NMR), and 2D (HETCOR) NMR spectroscopic techniques. In vitro cytotoxic activities were carried out against human breast (MCF-7), ovarian (A2780), prostate (PC-3), colon (Caco-2) cancer cell lines and human normal epithelial cell line (MCF-10A) at different concentrations by using an MTT assay. The compounds showed considerable reductions in cell viability against all human cancer cell lines. Especially, the compounds exhibited notable effects in A2780 cell lines (p < 0.05). The IC50 values of the compounds in the A2780 cell line were calculated to be 1.914 µM for TG, 20.21 µM for TV, 20.45 µM for TA, 4.643 µM for TP, 5.615 µM for BTG, 1.047 µM for BTV, 27.02 µM for BTA, 0.7734 µM for BTP, 21.5 µM for DTG, 1.65 µM for DTV, 2.89 µM for DTA and 4.599 µM for DTP. DNA damage studies of the compounds were conducted by the comet assay method using tail length, tail density, olive tail moment, head length, and head density parameters, and the results showed that the cell death occurred through DNA damage mechanism. In a nutshell, these compounds show promising cytotoxic effects and can be considered powerful candidate molecules for pharmaceutical applications.

Abstract
The hexachlorocyclotriphosphaze compound (N3P3Cl6, HCCP) was reacted with excess (E)-(1-(4'-oxyphenyl)-3-(substituted-phenyl)prop-2-en-1-ones (2-11) to produce hexakis[(1-(4-oxyphenyl)-3-(substituted-phenyl)prop-2-en-1-one)]cyclotriphosphazenes (CP 2-11). The structures of products (CP 2-11) were confirmed using elemental analysis, FT-IR, MS spectral analysis as well as 31P, 1H and 13C-APT NMR techniques and their thermal properties determined by TGA and DSC techniques. The HOMO-LUMO energy gap and chemical reactivity identifiers were calculated and HOMO and LUMO images were viewed. According to the calculations, all the chemical potential values of CP 2-11 are negative and it shown that the molecules are stable. The in vitro cytotoxic of CP 2-11 investigated and their activity potentials were evaluated by molecular docking studies with Autodock Vina softwares. CP 2-11 compounds were found to demonstrate cytotoxic activity against human cancer cell lines (A2780, LNCaP and PC-3). The CP 2-11 compounds reduced the cell viability against all cancer cell lines in the range 36%-90% especially. The results showed that these compounds are powerful candidate molecules for pharmaceutical applications.

Abstract
Perylenebisimide-cyclotriphosphazene based inorganic-organic system was synthesized by a multistep procedure. The substitution reaction of asymmetric perylenebisimide (PBI) derivative with the hexachloroyclotriphosphazene (trimer) resulted in the formation of fully PBI decorated cyclotriphosphazene (5). The identity of newly synthesized compound (5) was confirmed by using 31P, 1H and 13C NMR spectroscopies and mass spectrometry. The photophysical (UV- Vis absorption, fluorescence emission, fluorescence lifetime and fluorescence quantum yield) and photochemical (the singlet oxygen generation, and photostability) properties of this conjugate were investigated as novel heavy atom free triplet photosensitizer. The singlet oxygen quantum yield of the PBI-cyclotriphosphazene (5) was calculated to be 0.86 which is good for a heavy atom free triplet photosensitizer. These results will add to the development of cyclotriphosphazene based heavy atom free singlet oxygen triplet photosensitizer systems for applications in organic oxygenation reactions.
