Abstract
Glomuvenous malformations are congenital, benign, vascular malformations classified as subtypes of glomus tumors with predominant blood vessels, usually present at birth or childhood with multiple, bluish, soft papules and nodules or plaque-like cutaneous lesions. Later present with pronounced segmental lesions, superimposed on the primary lesions, suggesting type 2 segmental mosaicism. We present a rare case of familial glomuvenous malformations, a healthy young female presented with multiple bluish papules since birth which later developed dissemination later in her adolescence. Moreover, her father also had similar skin lesions on his left lower back.

Abstract
Glomus tumors are rare hamartomas that originate from the glomus body. These
tumors can be divided into solitary and multiple, the latter also known as
glomangioma. We report the case of two patients with a rare variety of
glomangioma called congenital plaque-like glomangioma. It presents as numerous
red to bluish compressible papules, that increase in size in proportion with the
weight and height growth of the child. Diagnostic confirmation is with
histopathology and the treatment is surgical.

Abstract
Background: Glomus tumor is a common lesion of the subungual area of the hand fingers. However, glomus tumors located outside the hand region are rare and the diagnosis is often difficult due to their low incidence and lack of distinct clinical features in the physical examination. The presented article contains five cases of extradigital glomus tumors with a short review of the literature. Patients and Methods: Five cases of extradigital glomus tumor were included in the study. All lesions were purple colored subcutaneous nodules with sharp pain by digital palpation. All lesions were examined with ultrasound imaging were operated under local anesthesia using loupe magnification. Results: Among five patients, only one patient was female with a mean age of 35. Two lesions were located at the arm region, two at the crural region and one at the sternal area. The smallest nodule was 0.5 cm and the biggest lesion was 2 cm in diameter. In all the cases, the early postoperative period was uneventful without any surgical complication or acute recurrence. The postoperative 1st year examination of all patients revealed complete resolution of the pain and no recurrence was encountered. Conclusions: Glomus tumor should be kept in mind in the differential diagnosis of all painful subcutaneous lesions especially for those with purple reflection on the skin surface. In this manner, patients with extradigital glomus tumors may be diagnosed earlier and unnecessary and wrong treatments may be prevented.

Abstract
Glomus tumors are rare mesenchymal neoplastic lesions arising from glomus bodies that are involved in skin thermoregulation. They are mostly benign tumors, and malignant variants have been rarely reported. The subungual zones of fingers and toes are the most frequent sites of observation. Glomus tumors arising in visceral organs of the gastrointestinal tract are exceedingly rare. Stomach antrum and intestinal duodenum are the most frequent organs involved. No single case of glomus tumor involving intestinal ileum has been previously reported in the English medical literature. To the best of our knowledge, we report the first case of malignant glomus tumor (glomangiosarcoma) of intestinal ileum in a 29-year-old female patient who presented with a 1-month history of a tender pelvi-abdominal mass, constipation, vomiting, and melena. The intestinal ileum glomus tumor was resected, and histopathological diagnosis was consistent with glomangiosarcoma. A postoperative 6-month followup failed to show any evidence of tumor recurrence.

Abstract
Glomus tumors are benign, subcutaneous neoplasms of the perivasculature. Though facial location is rare, the diagnosis of a glomus tumor should be considered in cases of undiagnosed painful facial nodules or chronic facial pain. Imaging aids in defining the tumor and planning a complete excision in order to avoid recurrence. Histological examination is mandatory after every attempted excision. A case of glomus tumor of the cheek along with the possible pitfalls of diagnosis and treatment and a brief review of the limited associated literature are presented.

Abstract
There are several skin and breast lesions that can cause pain or tenderness. In most cases the presence of a skin lesion, if not its definitive diagnosis, will be clinically evident. In most instances treatment of these painful skin lesions is by simple excision, which will also provide histologic confirmation of the diagnosis. It would be rare for a cutaneous cause of skin pain to be mistaken for another cause. The prodromal pain of herpes zoster is most likely to cause diagnostic confusion. The painful skin lesions are usually identified by the patient as being the source of their discomfort. The specific diagnosis may not be apparent without submission of lesional tissue for histology. Chest pain is an uncommon presenting symptom of benign and malignant breast lesions. Breast examination and investigation may be appropriate when other causes of chest pain are not evident.

Abstract
We report a case of glomuvenous malformation (GVM) in an 11-year-old boy with a history of transposition of the great vessels. The glomulin gene was discovered in 1999, and multiple mutations have been identified with some of the mutations resulting in GVM. The molecular genetics, clinical presentation, histopathology, differential diagnosis, and management of GVM are reviewed. To our knowledge, no case of glomuvenous malformation in the setting of transposition of the great vessels has ever been reported in the literature.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Solitary and multiple glomus tumors are vascular tumors arising from glomus cells. These two forms have distinct clinical and histopathological features, suggesting that they might have a different pathogenesis. The multiple form is less frequent than the solitary form. Its diagnosis and treatment are more problematic and often delayed. MAIN OBSERVATION We present the case of a 40-year-old patient, with a 20-year history of numerous non-tender disseminated blue papules. At the age of 30 years one of the lesions was excised and than regrew and became painful. The histological exam of the lesions was consistent with glomangioma, also known as glomus tumor. We performed surgical resection of the nodular and painful lesions. CONCLUSION The diagnosis of glomus tumor is easily suspected when the lesion is painful located in the subungual region. However, if the lesions are multiple and extradigitally located, the clinical diagnosis may be difficult and requires having in mind this differential diagnosis. Our case also shows that glomus tumors may regrow after excision in the same location.

Abstract
Glomus tumors develop from a thermoregulatory unit called the glomus body which is found in high density within the digits of both the hands and feet. To note, even though less frequently, these tumors can present in extradigital locations. Usually it presents as a small, 1-cm bluish nodule. Glomangioma (multiple glomus tumors) is to be differentiated clinically from the more solitary glomus tumor on the basis of larger size and prominent vascular markings. Although glomangioma is described in literature, the major textbooks of plastic surgery fail to mention it. A report of an unusual case of a large glomangioma in the shoulder of a 13-year-old female is presented. Clinical picture, investigation, surgical treatment, and pathology of this lesion are discussed.

Abstract

Abstract
A 13 year old girl presented with recurrent painful "varicosities" on her right calf. These lesions were subsequently clinically diagnosed as "cavernous haemangiomas" after normal duplex scanning and were excised. Histological examination revealed multiple glomangiomas (glomus tumours). A literature review revealed only two reported cases of nodular multiple glomangioma, so that this is the third case to be reported in the literature.
