Abstract
Nadi Pariksha is a significant, rather symbolic term for Ayurveda. Ancient Ayurvedic literature has prominently stated its importance in the judgment of Tridoshas (Vata, Pitta, and Kapha) which are the base of ailment diagnosis and prediction. The knowledge about Nadi Pariksha is uncovered in various ancient Ayurvedic literature like Ravansamhita, Bhavprakash, Nadivigyan by Kanad, Sharangdhar, and Yogratnakar. The various Nadi parameters are indicative of the diagnosis of diseases. These techniques were used as popular diagnostic tools in Indian culture from ancient days. Still, nowadays, these are not being used explicitly due to the lack of expertise, so it is necessary to establish their results once gained so that they can be used along with technical aspects in today's era. Ayurveda believes that all the elements of the Universe are present in any human body in minute, proportionate quantity, and the Nadi represents these elements, that is, Vata, Pitta, and Kapha (VPK). To facilitate the Nadi Pariksha using appropriate sensors may help the Ayurveda practitioners diagnose Prakriti and predict some diseases, making the Nadi Pariksha more reliable and faster. This review paper lists, 2 books and 67 research papers, mostly from countries like India, China, Japan, Korea, etc., from various reputed databases. The review primarily concentrates on six research themes: sensors and devices used for Nadi signal acquisition, signal pre-processing methods, feature extraction methods, feature selection approaches, classification practices, diseases diagnosed, and results attained. The paper also reviews the challenges in implementing the automated Nadi Pariksha with technological aid, which is a necessity of this period and is a very vibrant research arena. Yet significant work remains to be done, like bridging the gaps between technical and commercial development, and the procedure standardization is also required.

Abstract
Objective To explore the association between the Type and approach of hysterectomy and oncological survival of women with stage II cancer of the endometrium. Patients and methods 684 women with stage II endometrial cancer were included. Eligible cases were grouped by type of hysterectomy (simple hysterectomy or radical hysterectomy)and approach of hysterectomy (laparoscopy or laparotomy). The baseline characteristics were compared among groups. The survival outcomes (disease-free survival and overall survival) were calculated and compared among groups, and the underlying confounding factors were adjusted by the Cox proportional hazard regression analysis. Results The radical hysterectomy group and the simple hysterectomy group had 217 cases and 467 cases, respectively. Between the groups, the difference in 5-year disease-free survival (87.3% versus 87.9%, HR=0.97, P=0.87) and 5-year overall survival (83.8% versus 83.8%, HR=0.95, P=0.95) was not statistically significant. The laparotomy group and the laparoscopy group had 277 cases and 407 cases, respectively. Between the groups, the difference in 5-year disease-free survival (88.7% versus 87.1%, HR=1.22, P=0.34) and 5-year overall survival (85.5% versus 82.7%, HR=1.00, P=0.99) was not statistically significant. Conclusion For long-term oncological survival, radical hysterectomy is not superior to total hysterectomy in stage II endometrial cancer. Also, for stage II cancer of the endometrium, laparoscopic hysterectomy is as oncologically safe as open hysterectomy.

Abstract
Regression ranks among the most popular statistical analysis methods across many research areas, including psychology. Typically, regression coefficients are displayed in tables. While this mode of presentation is information-dense, extensive tables can be cumbersome to read and difficult to interpret. Here, we introduce three novel visualizations for reporting regression results. Our methods allow researchers to arrange large numbers of regression models in a single plot. Using regression results from real-world as well as simulated data, we demonstrate the transformations which are necessary to produce the required data structure and how to subsequently plot the results. The proposed methods provide visually appealing ways to report regression results efficiently and intuitively. Potential applications range from visual screening in the model selection stage to formal reporting in research papers. The procedure is fully reproducible using the provided code and can be executed via free-of-charge, open-source software routines in R.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Helicobacter pylori as the causative agent of the most common chronic bacterial infectious disease in human still involves a range of clinical challenging complications. In this meantime, the survey of the interaction between H. pylori virulence genes expression and its consequences on gastric antral epithelial cells is Controversial. This study surveyed the correlations between H. pylori cag Pathogenicity Island and virulence factors genes with Fgf7 gene expression as an angiogenic factor in developing gastric cancer in gastric antral epithelial cells of patients with H. pylori infection. METHOD Gastric antral biopsy samples collected from patients out of exclusion criteria, including consumption of tobacco, alchohol and anti-H. pylori drugs, were categorized into gastric cancer (case group n:53) and gastritis (control group n:50) with and without H. pylori infection to detect changes in cDNA of fgf7 in gastric antral epithelial cells by using Real Time RT PCR. Extracted total RNA from gastric antral biopsy samples was used to synthesize cDNA for real time PCR. Furthermore, the cDNA of H. pylori cag Pathogenicity Island and other virulence factors genes were detected by using specific designed primers and simple PCR. RESULTS Fgf7 gene expression revealed a significantly increase in gastric antral epithelial cells of gastric cancer and H. pylori-positive patients in contrast with gastritis and H. pylori-negative patients (p < 0.05). In the meanwhile, cag Pathogenicity Island and hopQ genotypes showed a positive correlation with Fgf7 gene expression (fold changes of cDNA) in gastric antral epithelial cells (p < 0.05). CONCLUSION This study revealed an obvious correlation between Fgf7 gene expression in gastric antral epithelial cells of patients with H. pylori carcinogenic genotypes infection and some host factors including age.

Abstract
Background Whether the clinical effect of acupuncture in chronic pain is effective has always been a hot topic of research, which has a great relationship with the overall reporting descriptions of acupuncture, especially the sham acupuncture intervention. To confirm the effectiveness of acupuncture, more clinical studies are often required. Therefore, it is necessary to report high-quality and complete descriptions of acupuncture in clinical trials. This study aims to assess the overall reporting quality of acupuncture for chronic pain in randomized controlled trials (RCTs). Methods Three databases from inception to March 2020 were searched, to assess the quality of acupuncture reports included the RCTs based on the pain-specific supplement to Consolidated Standards for Reporting Trials (CONSORT) and Standards for Reporting Interventions in Controlled Trials of Acupuncture (STRICTA) guidelines. The quality of sham acupuncture descriptions was evaluated based on the Template for Intervention Description and Replication (TIDieR)-placebo checklist. Descriptive statistics and analysis of the results were carried out according to the percentage of each item. Results A total of 74 RCTs were included which met the inclusion criteria. Based on the pain-specific CONSORT, the reporting rates of “Statistical methods”, “Participant flow”, and “Blinding” were “52.70%”, “70.27%”, and “77.03%”, respectively. The weakest reported items in STRICTA were related to the depth of insertion (Item 2c, 54.05%) and the setting and context of treatment (Item 4b, 0.00%). Based on the TIDieR-placebo checklist, the reporting rates of “Item 12”, “Item 11”, “Item 13”, “Item 3”, and “Item 4” were “8.11%”, “10.81%”, “29.73%”, “ 44.59% ”, and “47.30%”, respectively. Conclusion At present, the overall report quality of acupuncture treatment for chronic pain in English journals is acceptable, but the report rate in some aspects is still low. In the future, researchers should report RCTs of acupuncture following cleaner checklists and guidelines.

Abstract
INTRODUCTION The objective of our study was to identify rates of readmission and late mortality in pediatric extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) patients after discharge from their ECMO hospitalization. METHODS We conducted a population-based retrospective cohort study of children who were discharged after ECMO. Data were obtained from the State Inpatient Databases for 10 states. Time-to-event analyses were used to estimate the risk of readmission and to identify factors predictive of readmission and late mortality, including characteristics of initial hospital course and ECMO center volume. RESULTS A total of 1603 pediatric ECMO patients were identified, and 42.4% of these patients died prior to discharge. Of the 924 ECMO survivors, 35.6% had an unplanned readmission, and 3% died during readmission within 1 year. The risk of readmission was significantly related to the indication for ECMO, number of complex chronic conditions, transfer status, and discharge destination (all p<0.05). The risk of late mortality was significantly related to health insurance, transfer status, number of complex chronic conditions, and indication for ECMO (all p<0.05). CONCLUSIONS Pediatric ECMO survivors have a high risk of hospital readmission with approximately 3% mortality during readmissions within 1 year of initial discharge. Abstract
It remains unclear how programmed death-ligand 1 (PD-L1) expression interacts with anaplastic lymphoma kinase (ALK) mutation, its variants, and the outcome of treatment. One hundred and twenty four out of 1255 patients (9.9%) were deemed ALK-positive by the Ventana IHC assay. PD-L1 status and ALK variants were available in 100 and 59 patients, respectively. PD-L1 positive (TPS ≥ 1%) and strong positive (TPS ≥ 50%) rate was 50% and 16%, respectively. A total of 64 variant types were detected in 59 patients. V1 (32.8%) and V3a/b (28.1%) were the most common variants. There was no significant association between ALK variants and the PD-L1 expression. The presence of V3a/b subtype independently predicted a worse overall survival in patients receiving ALK inhibitor(s) (aHR 5.10 [95% CI 1.22–21.25], P = 0.025) and platinum plus pemetrexed (aHR 9.62 [95% CI 1.90–48.80], P = 0.006). While incorporating ALK variants and PD-L1 expression together, patients with non-V3a/b/positive PD-L1 showed a trend towards longer OS. In conclusion, ALK-positive NSCLC patients possess a high PD-L1 expression rate. Although there was no significant association between PD-L1 expression and ALK variants, the outcome of ALK-positive patients could be sorted by these two biomarkers.
