Abstract
BACKGROUND Individuals who experience migraines often seek out a variety of treatment options including manual or physical therapy. Evidence suggests that manual therapy, including osteopathy, can play a role in the management of migraines. Whilst there is some literature on the role osteopathy therapy plays in migraine management, none describes the treatment approaches used by practitioners. OBJECTIVES To explore the demographic, practice and clinical management characteristics of Australian osteopaths who report treating migraine 'often' in clinical practice. METHODS Secondary analysis of a cross-sectional survey of 988 osteopaths from the Osteopathy Research and Innovation Network (ORION), an Australian practice-based research network. Regression analysis was used to identify demographic, practice and clinical management characteristics of Australian osteopaths who reported 'often' treating migraine patients. RESULTS Over 40% of respondents (n = 400) indicated treating patients with migraines 'often'. These osteopaths were less likely to be involved in research and be co-located with a dietician compared to osteopaths who do 'not often' treat migraine. Osteopaths who reported 'often' treating migraine were: five times as likely to treat non-English speaking ethnic groups; 2.5 times as likely to treat chronic pain, temporomandibular joint disorders and hand musculoskeletal complaints; compared to those that do not treat migraines 'often'. CONCLUSION Australian osteopaths who treat migraine are five times more likely to treat non-English speaking ethnic groups; twice as likely to treat chronic pain; temporomandibular joint disorders, and hand musculoskeletal complaints. More research is needed to identify the practices and patient outcomes associated with osteopathy care for those experiencing migraines.

Abstract
Migraine is a leading cause of disability worldwide, and acute migraine attacks are a common reason for patients to seek care in the emergency department (ED). There have been recent advancements in the care of patients with migraine, specifically emerging evidence for nerve blocks and new pharmacological classes of medications like gepants and ditans. This article serves as a comprehensive review of migraine in the ED, including diagnosis and management of acute complications of migraine (eg, status migrainosus, migrainous infarct, persistent aura without infarction, and aura-triggered seizure) and use of evidence-based migraine-specific treatments in the ED. It highlights the role of migraine preventive medications and provides a framework for emergency physicians to prescribe them to eligible patients. Finally, it evaluates the evidence for nerve blocks in the treatment of migraine and introduces the possible role of gepants and ditans in the care of patients with migraine in the ED.

Abstract
Pain that persists or recurs over a period of at least 3 months in childhood and adolescence is referred to as chronic pain. The primary localization of pain changes according to age: abdominal pain is more common at a younger age, headache is more common in adolescents and later back pain as well as muscle and joint pain. In the multimodal and interdisciplinary treatment of chronic pain, complementary procedures can expand the treatment spectrum. This article provides an overview of the existing evidence that for childhood and adolescence can at best be evaluated as readily understandable. In addition, the experiences of two children's hospitals show that complementary medicine can be used as a low-threshold and easily implemented therapy.

Abstract
Introduction Migraine is a neurovascular disorder that affects the quality of life of more than 1 billion people worldwide. Repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) is a neuromodulation tool that uses pulsed magnetic fields to modulate the cerebral cortex. This meta-analysis ascertained the therapeutic or preventive effect of rTMS on chronic migraine. Methods We performed a database search of PubMed, Web of Science, Embase, and the Cochrane Library from January 2004 to December 2021. Eligible studies included randomized controlled studies of the analgesic effects of rTMS in patients with chronic migraine. Results Eight studies were included. Random effects analysis showed an effect size of -1.13 [95% confidence interval (CI): -1.69 to -0.58] on the frequency of migraine attacks, indicating that rTMS was more effective for decreasing migraine attacks than the sham rTMS. Conclusions The meta-analysis revealed that rTMS is an effective approach for reducing migraine attack when the dorsolateral prefrontal cortex was stimulated. Abstract
Migraine is a complex condition in which genetic predisposition interacts with other biological and environmental factors determining its course. A hyperresponsive brain cortex, peripheral and central alterations in pain processing, and comorbidities play a role from an individual biological standpoint. Besides, dysfunctional psychological mechanisms, social and lifestyle factors may intervene and impact on the clinical phenotype of the disease, promote its transformation from episodic into chronic migraine and may increase migraine-related disability.Thus, given the multifactorial origin of the condition, the application of a biopsychosocial approach in the management of migraine could favor therapeutic success. While in chronic pain conditions the biopsychosocial approach is already a mainstay of treatment, in migraine the biomedical approach is still dominant. It is instead advisable to carefully consider the individual with migraine as a whole, in order to plan a tailored treatment. In this review, we first reported an analytical and critical discussion of the biological, psychological, and social factors involved in migraine. Then, we addressed the management implications of the application of a biopsychosocial model discussing how the integration between non-pharmacological management and conventional biomedical treatment may provide advantages to migraine care.

Abstract
Background: This study set out to determine the prevalence and possible risk factors of headache and/or migraine in U.S. children, as well as the prevalence of complementary medicine use in this population. Methods: This is a secondary analysis of data from the 2017 U.S. National Health Interview Survey. Sociodemographic and clinical characteristics were compared between individuals with and without headaches. A backward stepwise procedure with a logistic regression statistic was used to test for potential predictors. Results: Six percent of children reported headaches and/or migraine within the past 12 months. Headaches were predicted by older age, female sex, non-Hispanic white ethnicity, and living in the southern United States. Inability to afford balanced meals and feeling sad or depressed in the past 6 months were also associated with higher odds of headache. A total of 19.2% of children with headaches reported using mind-body medicine, compared with 12.2% of children without headaches. Most frequently used therapy was yoga (57.2%), followed by spiritual meditation (31.1%) and mindfulness meditation (24.0%). The prevalence of visits to a complementary medicine practitioner or healer was 12.5%. Most frequently seen practitioners were chiropractors (62.1%), followed by naturopaths (21.2%), homeopaths (14.1%), and traditional healers (2.5%). Conclusions: The common use of complementary medicine among children suffering from headaches is worth noting. Understanding the motivation for using complementary medicine, as well as the choice of different forms of such therapy, may shed further light on the health-seeking behavior of this population.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE To evaluate effects of lifestyle modification on symptoms of dizziness and headache in patients diagnosed with definite vestibular migraine. STUDY DESIGN Prospective within-participants repeated-measures study. SETTING Otolaryngology tertiary care. PARTICIPANTS Twenty-eight adults with definite vestibular migraine who were willing to be treated without pharmacological intervention. INTERVENTIONS Information and instructions were provided on lifestyle modification; participants were instructed to improve restful sleep, exercise, eat at regulated mealtimes, and avoid dietary triggers. Participants were asked to maintain the modifications for at least 60 days. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES Two self-report inventories were used pre- and post-intervention to evaluate participants' perceived dizziness handicap and headache disability using the Dizziness Handicap Inventory and Headache Disability Inventory, respectively. Questions were also used to evaluate the extent to which participants reported compliance with lifestyle factors pre- and post-intervention. RESULTS Significant improvement was observed after the lifestyle intervention with mean improvements in Dizziness Handicap Inventory and Headache Disability Inventory of 14.3 points. As a group, improvement in restful sleep was related to improvement in both dizziness and headache symptoms. At the individual participant level, 39% and 18% of participants reported significant reduction in dizziness handicap and headache disability, respectively. CONCLUSIONS Lifestyle modifications are an effective intervention for symptoms of dizziness and headache in participants with definite vestibular migraine. Participants who reported a larger increase in restful sleep were more likely to also report larger improvements in dizziness handicap and headache disability. Effect sizes using the current intervention were comparable or better than some reported pharmacological interventions but less than others. Our lifestyle modification intervention produced significant improvement in dizziness for a larger percentage of individual participants and in headache for a similar percentage of participants compared to data reported with other lifestyle modification interventions. Lifestyle modifications, especially restful sleep, have the potential to reduce the impact of vestibular migraine on patients' lives, with limited risk.Clinical Trials Registration: NCT03979677.

Abstract
PURPOSE OF REVIEW Headache affects and disables at least 1 billion people worldwide. Patients and providers seek new therapies to relieve headache without the side effects and financial burden of current treatments. This narrative review highlights recent treatment advances in integrative headache medicine: nutraceuticals and behavioral therapies. RECENT FINDINGS Growing use of complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) therapies for headache (riboflavin, coenzyme Q10, magnesium, vitamin D, melatonin) alongside mainstream treatments is increasing with improving evidence of quality, safety, and tolerability. Increasing interest in medical cannabis is tempered by lack of evidence regarding safety and efficacy. Behavioral therapies including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), biofeedback, mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR), and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) improve patient resiliency and self-efficacy outcomes and reduce disability. The body of evidence for nutraceutical and behavioral CAM interventions for headache continues to grow and improve in quality. Providers and patients should educate themselves regarding CAM therapies as part of integrative headache management. Future studies should examine combinatorial trials of CAM therapies against current standards of headache care.

Abstract
Significant side effects or drug interactions can make pharmacological management of headache disorders very difficult. Non-conventional and non-pharmacological treatments are becoming increasingly used to overcome these issues. In particular, non-invasive neuromodulation, nutraceuticals, and behavioral approaches are well tolerated and indicated for specific patient categories such as adolescents and pregnant women. This paper aims to present the main approaches reported in the literature in the management of headache disorders. We therefore reviewed the available literature published between 2010 and 2020 and performed a narrative presentation for each of the three categories (non-invasive neuromodulation, nutraceuticals, and behavioral therapies). Regarding non-invasive neuromodulation, we selected transcranial magnetic stimulation, supraorbital nerve stimulation, transcranial direct current stimulation, non-invasive vagal nerve stimulation, and caloric vestibular stimulation. For nutraceuticals, we selected Feverfew, Butterbur, Riboflavin, Magnesium, and Coenzyme Q10. Finally, for behavioral approaches, we selected biofeedback, cognitive behavioral therapy, relaxation techniques, mindfulness-based therapy, and acceptance and commitment therapy. These approaches are increasingly seen as a valid treatment option in headache management, especially for patients with medication overuse or contraindications to drug treatment. However, further investigations are needed to consider the effectiveness of these approaches also with respect to the long-term effects.

Abstract
Ergothioneine (ERG) is an unusual thio-histidine betaine amino acid that has potent antioxidant activities. It is synthesised by a variety of microbes, especially fungi (including in mushroom fruiting bodies) and actinobacteria, but is not synthesised by plants and animals who acquire it via the soil and their diet, respectively. Animals have evolved a highly selective transporter for it, known as solute carrier family 22, member 4 (SLC22A4) in humans, signifying its importance, and ERG may even have the status of a vitamin. ERG accumulates differentially in various tissues, according to their expression of SLC22A4, favouring those such as erythrocytes that may be subject to oxidative stress. Mushroom or ERG consumption seems to provide significant prevention against oxidative stress in a large variety of systems. ERG seems to have strong cytoprotective status, and its concentration is lowered in a number of chronic inflammatory diseases. It has been passed as safe by regulatory agencies, and may have value as a nutraceutical and antioxidant more generally.

Abstract
Migraine is characterized by recurrent attacks of disabling headaches, often accompanied by sensory and motor disturbances. Clinical manifestations of migraine are influenced by dietary behaviors and dietary elements. Several dietary triggers for migraine have been identified, leading to the definition of strategies such as elimination diets, ketogenic diets, and comprehensive diets, mainly to help prevent migraine. Although inconsistency is present in the literature and no consensus exists, the available data are promising in supporting beneficial dietary interventions for some migraine patients. Several factors influence the net outcome, including age, sex, genetics, and environmental factors. Advancement in understanding the underlying mechanisms of migraine pathogenesis and how dietary factors can interfere with those mechanisms has encouraged investigators to consider diet as a disease-modifying agent, which may also interfere with the gut–brain axis or the epigenetics of migraine. Future work holds potential for phenotyping migraine patients and offering personalized recommendations in line with biopsychosocial models for the management of migraine. Diet, as an important element of lifestyle, is a modifiable aspect that needs further attention. Well-designed, systematic, and mechanism-driven dietary research is needed to provide evidence-based dietary recommendations specific to migraine. This narrative review aims to present the current status and future perspective on diet and migraine, in order to stimulate further research and awareness.

The Healthy Eating Plate Advice for Migraine Prevention: An Interventional Study. Nutrients 2020; 12:nu12061579. Abstract
We aimed at evaluating the effect of the Healthy Eating Plate (HEP) education on migraine frequency and disability. At three evaluation times (T-12 = screening, 12 weeks before the intervention; T0 = time of the educational HEP intervention; and T12 = 12-week follow-up), the enrolled subjects underwent assessment of anthropometric and dietary patterns, monthly migraine days (MMDs), and disability scales (Migraine Disability Assessment score (MIDAS), MIDAS A, MIDAS B). The HEP score estimated adherence to dietary advice. We enrolled 204 out of 240 screened migraineurs, of these, 97 patients completed the follow-up. We defined ADHERENTS as patients presenting an increase in HEP scores from T0 to T12 and RESPONDERS as those with a reduction of at least 30% in MMDs. ADHERENTS presented a significant decrease in MMDs from T0 to T12. In particular, RESPONDERS reduced red, processed meat and carb intake compared to NON-RESPONDERS. Reduction in carb consumption also related to a decrease in perceived disability (MIDAS) and headache pain intensity (MIDAS B). Logistic regression confirmed that the HEP score increase and total carb decrease were related to a reduction in MMDs. This study showed that adherence to the HEP advice, particularly the reduction in carb, red and processed meat consumption, is useful in migraine management, reducing migraine frequency and disability. Abstract
Background Migraine is a disabling primary headache disorder often associated with triggers. Diet‐related triggers are a common cause of migraine and certain diets have been reported to decrease the frequency of migraine attacks if dietary triggers or patterns are adjusted. Objective The systematic literature review was conducted to qualitatively summarize evidence from the published literature regarding the role of diet patterns, diet‐related triggers, and diet interventions in people with migraine. Methods A literature search was carried out on diet patterns, diet‐related triggers, and diet interventions used to treat and/or prevent migraine attacks, using an a priori protocol. MEDLINE and EMBASE databases were searched to identify studies assessing the effect of diet, food, and nutrition in people with migraine aged ≥18 years. Only primary literature sources (randomized controlled trials or observational studies) were included and searches were conducted from January 2000 to March 2019. The NICE checklist was used to assess the quality of the included studies of randomized controlled trials and the Downs and Black checklist was used for the assessment of observational studies. Results A total of 43 studies were included in this review, of which 11 assessed diet patterns, 12 assessed diet interventions, and 20 assessed diet‐related triggers. The overall quality of evidence was low, as most of the (68%) studies assessing diet patterns and diet‐related triggers were cross‐sectional studies or patient surveys. The studies regarding diet interventions assessed a variety of diets, such as ketogenic diet, elimination diets, and low‐fat diets. Alcohol and caffeine uses were the most common diet patterns and diet‐related triggers associated with increased frequency of migraine attacks. Most of the diet interventions, such as low‐fat and elimination diets, were related to a decrease in the frequency of migraine attacks. Conclusions There is limited high‐quality randomized controlled trial data on diet patterns or diet‐related triggers. A few small randomized controlled trials have assessed diet interventions in preventing migraine attacks without strong results. Although many patients already reported avoiding personal diet‐related triggers in their migraine management, high‐quality research is needed to confirm the effect of diet in people with migraine.

Abstract
BACKGROUND The use of diet and physical activity in alleviating the burden of migraine is unclear, therefore, more scientific study on the role of positive health behaviors in migraine management is needed. OBJECTIVE To explore the potential moderating influence of positive health behaviors on the early life stress-migraine relationship in a sample of the Canadian adult population. METHODS This study used data from the 2011-2012 Canadian Community Health Survey - Annual Component, a National cross-sectional survey. Adults ≥18 years of age residing in British Columbia were surveyed about stressors experienced as children/teenagers (eg, parental divorce and substance abuse exposure). Migraine was self-report of health-professional diagnosis. Positive health behaviors were measured using an index of transportation and leisure time physical activity, and self-reported frequency of vegetable and fruit consumption. Population survey weights were employed throughout and analytic models were adjusted for known confounders (nunweighted = 11,910). RESULTS The weighted prevalence of migraine was 9.7% (95% CI: 9.1%, 10.2%). Odds of migraine increased as number of stressors increased: 1 early life stressor (OR = 1.18, 95% CI: 1.01, 1.39), and ≥ 2 early life stressors (OR = 1.51, 95% CI: 1.29, 1.76), compared to no stress. There was evidence of effect modification by physical activity (χ2 (4) = 16.02, P < .001). The association between 1 early life stressor and migraine was lower for those who were physically active (moderately active: OR = 1.20, 95% CI: 0.90, 1.61; active: OR = 0.82, 95% CI: 0.61, 1.11). This difference was not apparent for those who experienced 2 or more early life stressors (moderately active: OR = 1.67, 95% CI: 1.28, 2.17; active: OR = 1.55, 95% CI: 1.21, 1.99). Across all levels of early life stress, physically active respondents had lower odds of migraine than moderately active respondents. There was no effect modification by vegetable, fruit, and total fruit/vegetable consumption. CONCLUSIONS Stressors experienced early in life are associated with migraine, and physical activity may ameliorate this relationship, particularly for those with exposure to a minimal level of early life stress. A higher dose of physical activity may yield greater benefit than a less intensive dose (ie, moderate activity level). However, the cross-sectional nature of this study precludes us from inferring causality, and future investigation requires prospectively collected data.

Abstract
Headache hygiene refers to self-management behaviors and practices aimed at reducing headache-related disability and improving self-efficacy. Although self-management interventions have an established place in the management of a wide range of chronic conditions, there is still not a standardized approach to this in pediatric headache. In this article, we focus on headache hygiene approaches including education, lifestyle interventions, and psychologic interventions. We also present our center's resource compilation, made available to patients by quick response code technology, as an example of a structured approach to headache hygiene. Further work should explore a standardized approach to headache hygiene and strategies to support adherence, including the use of technology as an innovative health care delivery pathway.

Abstract
The global prevalence of migraine as a primary headache has been estimated as 14.4% in both sexes. Migraine headache has been ranked as the highest contributor to disability in under 50 years old population in the world. Extensive research has been conducted in order to clarify the pathological mechanisms of migraine. Although uncertainties remains, it has been indicated that vascular dysfunction, cortical spreading depression (CSD), activation of the trigeminovascular pathway, pro-inflammatory and oxidative state may play a putative role in migraine pain generation. Knowledge about pathophysiological mechanisms of migraine should be integrated into a multimodal treatment approach to increase quality of life in patients. With respect to this, within the integrative health studies growing interest pertains to dietary interventions. Although the number of studies concerning effects of diet on headache/migraine is not yet very large, the current article will review the available evidence in this area. All publications on headache/migraine and dietary interventions up to May 2019 were included in the present review through a PubMed/MEDLINE and ScienceDirect database search. According to the current findings, Ketogenic diet and modified Atkins diet are thought to play a role in neuroprotection, improving mitochondrial function and energy metabolism, compensating serotoninergic dysfunction, decreasing calcitonin gene-related peptide (CGRP) level and suppressing neuro-inflammation. It can also be speculated that prescription of low glycemic diet may be promising in headache/migraine control through attenuating the inflammatory state. Moreover, obesity and headaches including migraine could be attributed to each other through mechanisms like inflammation, and irregular hypothalamic function. Thereby, applying dietary strategies for weight loss may also ameliorate headache/migraine. Another important dietary intervention that might be effective in headache/migraine improvement is related to balance between the intake of essential fatty acids, omega-6 and omega-3 which also affect inflammatory responses, platelet function and regulation of vascular tone. Regarding elimination diets, it appears that targeted these diets in migraine patients with food sensitivities could be effective in headache/migraine prevention. Taken together, dietary approaches that could be considered as effective strategies in headache/migraine prophylaxis include weight loss diets in obese headache patients, ketogenic and low-calorie diets, reducing omega-6 and increasing omega-3 fatty acid intakes.

Abstract
PURPOSE OF REVIEW Nutraceuticals are a form of complementary and alternative medicine that is commonly used by children and adolescents with migraine. In this review, observational studies, randomized controlled trials, systematic reviews, and meta-analyses on the efficacy and safety of single compound nutraceuticals for the management of migraine in children and adolescents were identified through a literature search of MEDLINE, Embase, and EBM Reviews-Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials. RECENT FINDINGS Twenty-one studies were reviewed, of which 11 were observational studies, 7 were randomized controlled trials, and 3 were systematic reviews. Six different nutraceuticals were included in the review: vitamin D, riboflavin, coenzyme Q10, magnesium, butterbur, and polyunsaturated fatty acids. All but three of the studies assessed the role of nutraceuticals in migraine prevention, while three studies evaluated the role of intravenous magnesium for acute migraine management. Overall, the quality and size of the studies were limited. Due to low quality evidence and limited studies, no definite conclusions can be drawn on the efficacy of nutraceuticals for the treatment of pediatric migraine. Future studies are warranted in order to establish evidence upon which to define the role of nutraceuticals in this patient population.

Abstract
Migraine is a common multifactorial and polygenic neurological disabling disorder characterized by a genetic background and associated to environmental, hormonal and food stimulations. A large series of evidence suggest a strong correlation between nutrition and migraine and indicates several commonly foods, food additives and beverages that may be involved in the mechanisms triggering the headache attack in migraine-susceptible persons. There are foods and drinks, or ingredients of the same, that can trigger the migraine crisis as well as some foods play a protective function depending on the specific genetic sensitivity of the subject. The recent biotechnological advances have enhanced the identification of some genetic factors involved in onset diseases and the identification of sequence variants of genes responsible for the individual sensitivity to migraine trigger-foods. Therefore many studies are aimed at the analysis of polymorphisms of genes coding for the enzymes involved in the metabolism of food factors in order to clarify the different ways in which people respond to foods based on their genetic constitution. This review discusses the latest knowledge and scientific evidence of the role of gene variants and nutrients, food additives and nutraceuticals interactions in migraine.

Abstract
There is substantial evidence indicating a role for glutamate in migraine. Levels of glutamate are higher in the brain and possibly also in the peripheral circulation in migraine patients, particularly during attacks. Altered blood levels of kynurenines, endogenous modulators of glutamate receptors, have been reported in migraine patients. Population genetic studies implicate genes that are involved with glutamate signaling in migraine, and gene mutations responsible for familial hemiplegic migraine and other familial migraine syndromes may influence glutamate signaling. Animal studies indicate that glutamate plays a key role in pain transmission, central sensitization, and cortical spreading depression. Multiple therapies that target glutamate receptors including magnesium, topiramate, memantine, and ketamine have been reported to have efficacy in the treatment of migraine, although with the exception of topiramate, the evidence for the efficacy of these therapies is not strong. Also, because all of these therapies have other mechanisms of action, it is not possible to conclude that the efficacy of these drugs is entirely due to their effects on glutamate receptors. Further studies are needed to more clearly delineate the possible roles of glutamate and its specific receptor subtypes in migraine and to identify new ways of targeting glutamate for migraine therapy.

Abstract
Although many neurologic conditions are common, cures are rare and conventional treatments are often limited. Many patients, therefore, turn to complementary and alternative medicine (CAM). The use of selected, evidence-based CAM therapies for the prevention and treatment of migraine, carpal tunnel syndrome, and dementia are presented. Evidence is growing many of modalities, including nutrition, exercise, mind-body medicine, supplements, and acupuncture.

Abstract
Dietary triggers are commonly reported by patients with a variety of headaches, particularly those with migraines. The presence of any specific dietary trigger in migraine patients varies from 10 to 64 % depending on study population and methodology. Some foods trigger headache within an hour while others develop within 12 h post ingestion. Alcohol (especially red wine and beer), chocolate, caffeine, dairy products such as aged cheese, food preservatives with nitrates and nitrites, monosodium glutamate (MSG), and artificial sweeteners such as aspartame have all been studied as migraine triggers in the past. This review focuses the evidence linking these compounds to headache and examines the prevalence of these triggers from prior population-based studies. Recent literature surrounding headache related to fasting and weight loss as well as elimination diets based on serum food antibody testing will also be summarized to help physicians recommend low-risk, non-pharmacological adjunctive therapies for patients with debilitating headaches.

Abstract
The novel concept explored in this case series is the primacy of headaches in generating seizures in those patients who suffer from migraine-triggered epilepsy. In this series, once the migraine headaches were fully suppressed, via daily scheduled opioid therapy, the seizures also stopped. Seizures returned, however, after the patients stopped the opiate regimen for any reason. The above pharmacological scenario is reminiscent of a similar but naturalistic course of events reported on the salutary effects of ketogenic diet, or changes in life style, in similar cases of migraine-triggered epilepsy. The primacy of migraine in treating what has been named 'seizure headaches' is seen in two other scenarios (i.e. the salutary effect of ketogenic diet and lifestyle changes resulting in restoration of one's sleeping pattern) thus stopping the migraine as well as the seizures associated with the same. This case series recounts the same phenomenon via utilizing around-the-clock maintenance opioid therapy.
