Abstract
Background This study aimed to explore the current knowledge level of breast cancer among rural women in Southwest China and analyze the influencing factors of breast cancer cognition. Methods From May to November 2022, 1468 rural women were invited to participate in this study. Demographic information and the Chinese version of the Breast Cancer Awareness Measure (C-BCAM) were collected through one-on-one investigations. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, chi-square tests, and multiple regression analysis in SPSS 26.0. Results The study included a total of 1468 rural women with a median age of 54.0 (IQR, 47.0, 60.0).The average score of breast cancer in the study population was 73.0 (IQR, 66.0, 82.0). Among women in Southwest China, the awareness rates of knowledge on breast cancer symptoms, barriers to seeking medical help, and risk factors were 68.8%, 98.4%, and 62.1%, respectively. The awareness rate was found to increase with higher education levels (P<0.001) and decrease with increasing age (P<0.001). Multivariate logistic regression analysis identified three variables that might influence breast cancer awareness: education level, contraceptive measures, and history of breast disease (all P<0.05). Specifically, history of breast disease (Odds ratio (OR) = 1.907, 95% CI = 1.128 ~ 3.223), middle school education (OR = 2.155, 95% CI = 1.585 ~ 2.928), and junior college education and above (OR = 5.536, 95% CI = 1.898 ~ 16.148) were positive factors for women's breast cancer awareness. Conversely, the use of intrauterine devices (OR = 0.523, 95% CI = 0.384 ~ 0.712) was found to be a negative factor for women's breast cancer awareness. Conclusion This study highlights the insufficient awareness of breast cancer among women in rural area of Southwest China. It emphasizes the necessity of health education to improve female breast cancer awareness.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE To conduct a cultural adaptation and validation of the Champion Health Belief Model Scale (CHBMS) for colorectal cancer (CRC) screening (CHBMS-CRC-M) in order to assess and investigate perceptions and beliefs about CRC screening in Malaysia. DESIGNS AND PARTICIPANTS The results from an evidence synthesis and the outcomes from an expert panel discussion were used to shape CHBMS scale content into an assessment of beliefs about CRC screening (CHBMS-CRC). This questionnaire assessment was translated into the official language of Malaysia. An initial study tested the face validity of the new scale or questionnaire with 30 men and women from various ethnic groups. Factorial or structural validity was investigated in a community sample of 954 multiethnic Malaysians. SETTING Selangor state, Malaysia. RESULTS The new scale was culturally acceptable to the three main ethnic groups in Malaysia and achieved good face validity. Cronbach's alpha coefficients ranged from 0.66 to 0.93, indicating moderate to good internal consistency. Items relating to perceived susceptibility to CRC 'loaded' on Factor 1 (with loadings scoring above 0.90); perceived benefits of CRC screening items loaded on factor 2 and were correlated strongly (loadings ranged between 0.63 and 0.83) and perceived barriers (PBA) to CRC screening (PBA) items loaded on factor 3 (range 0.30-0.72). CONCLUSION The newly developed CHBMS-CRC-M fills an important gap by providing a robust scale with which to investigate and assess CRC screening beliefs and contribute to efforts to enhance CRC screening uptake and early detection of CRC in Malaysia and in other Malay-speaking communities in the region.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Infertility is a major challenge in the life of women which affects their quality of life. Infertile women's quality of life is a relatively new field of research that has recently been considered by health researchers. However, there has been no standard tool for measuring different aspects of infertile women's quality of life with female factors, and general and specific tools of infertile couples have been used to assess their quality of life. This study, thus, aimed to analyze different aspects of the quality of life of infertile women. METHODS This descriptive cross-sectional study was conducted on 320 infertile women referred to a teaching hospital affiliated with Mazandaran University of Medical Sciences and private infertility treatment centers in Sari, Iran. Demographic and fertility characteristics and the quality of life questionnaire for infertile women questionnaire (a 25-item tool was designed which measured 7 factors of psychological effects, sexual life with infertility family and social effects, infertility-related concerns, physical effects, adaptive approaches and factors preventing infertility adaptation), were recruited for data gathering. Data were analyzed using SPSS version 22. Descriptive statistics (percentage, mean, standard deviation), correlation coefficient, independent sample t-test, and multiple linear regression were used. P-values less than 0.05 were considered statistically significant. RESULTS The total mean score of infertile women's quality of life was 65.68 ± 8.91%. Findings were indicative of infertile women's quality of life in the dimensions of adaptive approach (70.48 ± 15.02%), psychological (67.88 ± 12.06%), family and social (64.63 ± 10.76%), physical, 63.42 ± 11.36%), inhibitory factors/ factors preventing adaptation (60.98 ± 8.24%), related concerns (51.52 ± 10.21%) and sexual life (40.12 ± 14.28%). According to the final multiple linear regression model, women's education (B = 2.57, p < 0.001), spouse's education (B = 1.56, p = 0.046), economic status (B = 1.64, p < 0.001), age of women (B = -0.62, p < 0.001), age of spouse (B = -0.65, p < 0.001), duration of infertility (B = -0.36, p = 0.024) and duration of marriage (B = -0.39, p = 0.022) were the final predictors of the quality of life score in infertile women of the study. CONCLUSION Given that infertility causes extensive changes in individuals, families, and social dimensions of infertile women, it can affect their quality of life. We can take steps to improve the health of infertile women by promoting various dimensions of their quality of life.

Abstract
Background Lack of knowledge, poor awareness, and attitude are barriers to breast cancer (BC) screening participation. The ubiquitous usage of mobile phones makes it a perfect platform for delivering interventions to increase knowledge and awareness in screening, a strategy for early identification of BC. However, although numerous applications for BC prevention are available on major mobile phone platforms, relatively few have been tested in scientific studies to determine their efficacy. Objective This study aimed to assess the efficacy of BrAware Apps in increasing the knowledge of BC risk factors, awareness of warning signs and confidence in breast self-examination (BSE) among women in northeast peninsular Malaysia. Methods A quasi-experimental pre and post-test research design were conducted with 41 women participants in Kelantan, Malaysia, before and after using the BrAware apps. Participants were given an online, adapted Breast Cancer Awareness Measure questionnaire. Post-test was 2 months after using the BrAware apps. Comparison using paired T-tests were conducted to evaluate the change in knowledge of risk factors, warning signs awareness and confidence level for BSE. Results The mean age of women was 39.71(SD = 8.80). The participants' mean knowledge score of BC warning signs differs before using BrAware (mean 70.62, SD 11.74) and after using the BrAware app (mean 79.83, SD 10.15) at the <0.001 level of significance. Conclusions The BrAware mobile app had a positive effect in increasing the women's knowledge of risk factors of BC, warning signs awareness and confidence level for BSE. It can be concluded that the mobile app may be an adjunct in educating women on BC.
