Abstract
In current resuscitation guidelines, tactile stimulation is recommended for infants with insufficient respiratory efforts after birth. No recommendations are made regarding duration, onset, and method of stimulation. Neither is mentioned how tactile stimulation should be applied in relation to the gestational age. The aim was to review the physiological mechanisms of respiratory drive after birth and to identify and structure the current evidence on tactile stimulation during neonatal resuscitation. A systematic review of available data was performed using PubMed, covering the literature up to April 2021. Two independent investigators screened the extracted references and assessed their methodological quality. Six studies were included. Tactile stimulation management, including the onset of stimulation, overall duration, and methods as well as the effect on vital parameters was analyzed and systematically presented. Tactile stimulation varies widely between, as well as within different centers and no consensus exists which stimulation method is most effective. Some evidence shows that repetitive stimulation within the first minutes of resuscitation improves oxygenation. Further studies are warranted to optimize strategies to support spontaneous breathing after birth, assessing the effect of stimulating various body parts respectively within different gestational age groups.

Abstract
FIREBIRD-II is a National Science Foundation funded CubeSat mission designed to study the scale size and energy spectrum of relativistic electron microbursts. The mission consists of two identical 1.5 U CubeSats in a low earth polar orbit, each with two solid state detectors that differ only in the size of their geometric factors and fields of view. Having two spacecraft in close orbit allows the scale size of microbursts to be investigated through the intra-spacecraft separation when microbursts are observed simultaneously on each unit. Each detector returns high cadence (10 s of ms) measurements of the electron population from 200 keV to >1 MeV across six energy channels. The energy channels were selected to fill a gap in the observations of the Heavy Ion Large Telescope instrument on the Solar, Anomalous, and Magnetospheric Particle Explorer. FIREBIRD-II has been in orbit for 5 years and continues to return high quality data. After the first month in orbit, the spacecraft had separated beyond the expected scale size of microbursts, so the focus has shifted toward conjunctions with other magnetospheric missions. FIREBIRD-II has addressed all of its primary science objectives, and its long lifetime and focus on conjunctions has enabled additional science beyond the scope of the original mission. This paper presents a brief history of the FIREBIRD mission's science goals, followed by a description of the instrument and spacecraft. The data products are then discussed along with some caveats necessary for proper use of the data.

Abstract
Abstract
Nipple-areola sparing mastectomy (NSM) may be offered to some women with breast cancer as an alternative to skin sparing (SSM) or total mastectomy (TM) with excellent cosmetic results and acceptable recurrence risk. The aim of this study is to determine the local/regional recurrence rate of NSM in comparison to SSM and TM at our institution and to determine the factors that may be associated with risk of recurrence. Women who underwent NSM (n=148), SSM (n=660) or TM (n=443) at City of Hope National Medical Center between May 2007 and December 2014 for Stage 0-III breast cancer were identified retrospectively. Exclusions were: women with inflammatory breast cancer and those who had mastectomy for recurrent breast cancer. Overall survival (OS) and disease free survival (DFS) were analyzed using Cox regression controlling for age, race/ethnicity, stage, histology, grade, hormone receptor and Her2 receptor status. There were total of 165 NSMs, 704 SSMs and 466 TMs performed for cancer, accounting for the patients with bilateral cancers. The median follow up time was 38, 58 and 55 months for NSM, SSM and TM, respectively. Median (range) age at diagnosis was 49 (23-74) for NSM, 51 (23-90) for SSM and 59 (26-92) for TM. In the NSM group, 76% of patients had invasive ductal cancer (IDC) and 15% had ductal carcinoma in-situ (DCIS); this was comparable to 73% and 13% in the SSM group and 78% and 9% in the TM group, respectively. The majority of patients who underwent NSM had Stage II disease (45%), which was similar to SSM (43%) and TM (44%). Only 3% of NSM patients had Stage III disease compared to 17% of SSM patients and 29% of TM patients. Most of the patients in all 3 surgical groups received adjuvant chemotherapy (NSM 59%; SSM 52%; TM 51%). Of patients who underwent NSM, 20% received neoadjuvant chemotherapy, compared with 29% of SSM patients and 35% of TM patients. The local/regional recurrence rate per breast was 12/165 (7.3%) for NSM, 23/704 (3.3%) for SSM and 11/466 (2.4%) for TM (n=11). Median time to recurrence was 20, 26 and 16 months for NSM, SSM and TM, respectively. Of the NSMs performed only 1 recurrence occurred at the nipple-areolar complex (0.6%), 9 recurrences were at the chest wall (5.5%) and 2 were at the axilla (1.2%). Eight recurrences after NSM had DCIS in addition to IDC at the time of initial diagnosis while 2 had pure DCIS, 1 had pure IDC and 1 had invasive lobular cancer. There were 8 recurrences with estrogen receptor (ER) and progesterone receptor (PR) positivity at the time of initial diagnosis, that converted to ER+, PR-. One third of recurrences after NSM had multifocal disease. There was no significant difference found in adjusted overall survival (p=0.49) and adjusted disease free survival (p=0.10) among NSM, SSM and TM patients. Even though there is higher rate of local/regional recurrence with NSM, there is no difference in overall and disease-free survival at our institution. Presence of DCIS may be an important factor for recurrence. From these data we conclude that NSM is an oncologically acceptable alternative to SSM and TM, with excellent cosmetic results.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE Evaluation of the reliability of diagnostic codification by the Medical Codification Department (MCD) as a method of national hospital identification of multiple injury patients and description of epidemiology and mortality among the multiple injury group studied. DESIGN Prospective/retrospective and descriptive. SETTING Free University Hospital, Amsterdam. METHOD The injuries of 207 severely injured patients presented at the Accident and Emergency department during the year 1992, were coded as an Injury Severity Score (ISS). Those having an ISS > or = 18 were reviewed on cause and outcome of the injury. The diagnose for codification (International Classification of Diseases-9 Clinical Modification) of the MCD, from which an Abbreviated Injury Score (AIS) and the ISS can be calculated, was evaluated. RESULTS 24 out of the 207 severely injured patients were transferred to other hospitals after stabilisation because of lack of room. Of the remaining 183 patients 124 had an ISS > or = 18.44 (35%) patients died during their stay in hospital. 21 (48%) of them died within 2 hours. 28 (64%) multiple injury patients died during the first 24 hours after admission. Neurological damage was the main cause of death (59%), followed by exsanguination (30%). A traffic accident was the cause of the injuries in 61% and a fall or jump in 27%. The mean ISS of these patients was 29 and the maximum score was 66. Head and neck injuries were present in 80% of the patients. The codification of brain damage by the MCD resulted in several mistakes. Brain damage in multiple injury cases results in a high AIS. Since the ISS is calculated by multiplication of AIS values, small differences in AIS create considerable variations in ISS. CONCLUSION Multiple injury patients need fast and adequate help because of the high mortality, especially in the first 24 hours. The diagnostic codification of the MCD was found not reliable enough to be used for a hospital identification and registration of multiple injury patients.
