Abstract
OBJECTIVE When COVID-19 sweeps the world, traditional stethoscopes are seen as infectious agents and then the use of stethoscopes is limited especially when health providers were in their personal protective equipment. These reasons led to the ignoring of the values of stethoscopes during pandemics. This study aims to explore the value of wireless stethoscopes in patients of a makeshift hospital. MATERIAL AND METHODS 200 consecutive hospitalized patients with confirmed SARS-CoV-2 at Lingang Makeshift Hospital in Shanghai, China, were enrolled from April 10 to May 10, 2022 (Trial Registration Number: ChiCTR2000038272,2020/9/15). They were randomly divided into two groups. In group A (n = 100), patients were examined without a stethoscope. In group B (n = 100), lung breath sounds and heart sounds were examined with a wireless stethoscope, and positive signs were recorded. The duration of cough and tachycardia symptoms, as well as emergency cases, were compared between the two groups. In addition, the pressure, anxiety, and depression of patients in the two groups were investigated using the DAS-21 questionnaire scale, to observe the psychological impact of the stethoscope-based doctor-patient communication on patients in the makeshift hospital. RESULTS There was no significant difference in baseline characteristics between the two groups. In group B, some significant positive signs were detected by wireless stethoscopes, including pulmonary rales and tachycardia, etc. Moreover, the therapeutic measures based on these positive signs effectively alleviated the symptoms of cough and tachycardia, which showed that the duration of symptoms was significantly shorter than that of group A (cough: 2.8 ± 0.9 vs. 3.6 ± 0.9; palpitation: 1.4 ± 0.7 vs. 2.6 ± 0.7). In particular, the number of emergency cases in group B is less than that in group A (1% vs. 3%), and the severity is lower. Notably, stethoscope-based doctor-patient communication was found to be effective in alleviating psychological measures of group B patients. CONCLUSION Wireless stethoscopes in makeshift hospitals can avoid cross-infections and detect more valuable positive signs, which can help health providers make accurate decisions and relieve patients' symptoms more quickly. Moreover, stethoscope-based doctor-patient communication can diminish the psychological impacts of the epidemic on isolated patients in makeshift hospitals. Abstract
OBJECTIVE To evaluate the pathological characteristics of endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD) specimens for early gastric cancer and precancerous lesions, accumulating experience for clinical management and pathological analysis. METHODS A total of 411 cases of early gastric cancer or precancerous lesions underwent ESD. According to the Japanese guidelines for ESD treatment of early gastric cancer and classification of gastric carcinoma, the clinicopathological data, pathologic evaluation, concordance rate of pathological diagnosis between preoperative endoscopic forceps biopsies and their ESD specimens (in 400 cases), as well as the risk factors of non-curative resection of early gastric cancer, were analyzed retrospectively. RESULTS 23.4% (96/411) of the 411 cases were adenoma/low-grade dysplasia and 76.6% (315/411) were early gastric cancer. The latter included 28.0% (115/411) non-invasive carcinoma/high-grade dysplasia and 48.7% (200/411) invasive carcinoma. The concordance rate of pathological diagnosis between endoscopic forceps biopsies and ESD specimens was 66.0% (264/400), correlating with pathological diagnosis and lesion location (P < 0.01). The rate of upgraded diagnosis and downgraded diagnosis after ESD was 29.8% (119/400) and 4.2% (17/400), respectively. Among the 315 cases of early gastric cancer, there were 277 cases (87.9%) of differentiated type and 38 cases (12.1%) of undifferentiated type. In the study, 262 cases (83.2%) met with absolute indication, while 53 cases (16.8%) met relative indication. En bloc and curative resection rates were 98.1% and 82.9%, respectively. Risk factors for non-curative resection included a long diameter >20 mm (OR=3.631, 95%CI: 1.170-11.270, P=0.026), tumor infiltration into submucosa (OR=69.761, 95%CI: 21.033-231.376, P < 0.001)and undifferentiated tumor histology (OR=16.950, 95%CI: 4.585-62.664, P < 0.001). CONCLUSION Several subjective and objective factors, such as the limitations of biopsy samples, the characteristics and distribution of the lesions, different pathological understanding, and the endoscopic sampling and observation, can lead to the differences between the preoperative and postoperative pathological diagnosis of ESD. In particular, the pathological upgrade of postoperative diagnosis was more significant and should receive more attention by endoscopists and pathologists. The curative resection rate of early gastric cancer in ESD was high. Non-curative resection was related to the long diameter, the depth of tumor invasion and histological classification. ESD can also be performed in undifferentiated early gastric cancer if meeting the indication criteria. The comprehensive and standardized pathological analysis of ESD specimens is clinically important to evaluate the curative effect of ESD operation and patient outcomes.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Some studies have reported using ultrasonic evaluations to assess diaphragm function in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). However, they have limitations and thus cannot provide strong evidence to support ultrasound evaluations for diaphragm function and dysfunction severity assessments in this patient population. Additionally, quantitative studies on the relationship between ultrasound evaluations and diaphragm function do not exist. Therefore, we performed a systematic review and meta-analysis to explore the usefulness of ultrasonography for evaluating diaphragm function in patients with COPD. METHODS The Cochrane Library, PubMed, Embase, Web of Science, Chinese Biomedical Literature Database, Wanfang Data, China National Knowledge Network, and Chinese Scientific Journal Database (i.e., VIP) databases were searched for literature about ultrasonic evaluations of diaphragm function in patients with COPD for systematic review. We extracted patient demographic, diaphragm mobility, diaphragm thickness, diaphragm thickening score, and other related parameter data using RevMan 5.3 software for the meta-analysis. RESULTS We included 13 articles in the systematic review, 8 of which (494 participants) were included in the meta-analysis. The degree of diaphragm offset in patients with COPD was significantly lower than that in healthy controls (weighted mean difference [WMD] = -1.34; 95% confidence interval [CI]: -2.15, 0.53; P < .05). The diaphragm deviation was lower in the severe COPD group than in the mild-to-moderate COPD group (WMD = 0.50; 95% CI: -0.01, 1.01; P = .06), but the difference was not significant. CONCLUSION Ultrasonography effectively evaluates diaphragm function in patients with COPD. The diaphragm offset can be used as an auxiliary diagnostic index for COPD, which is also related to disease severity.

Study question
We aimed to investigate whether serum Progesterone (P) on the day of hCG trigger can be used as a biomarker to predict the IVF/ICSI outcomes in PCOS patients.
Summary answer
PCOS patients got better IVF/ICSI outcomes with “higher” progesterone level (2.7-5.9mmol/L).
What is known already
There were several studies suggesting serum Progesterone (P) on the day of hCG trigger can be used as a biomarker to predict IVF outcomes, and to decide fresh cycle embryo transfer or frozen all. But there was few study focus on PCOS patients.
Study design, size, duration
This is a single-center retrospective cohort study in PCOS women undergoing the first transfer of an IVF cycle between January 1st 2010 and December 31th 2019. There were 141,539 oocyte retrieval cycles during the study period, and 97,189 cycles were their first IVF cycle. PCOS was diagnosed according to the Rotterdam criteria. Among them, 3,146 cycles full filled the inclusion and exclusion criteria, and all with two embryos transferred on Day 3.
Participants/materials, setting, methods
We compared the live birth rate of fresh embryo transfer, stratified for serum P level. We looked for interaction between serum P level and live birth rate of fresh cycles. The serum P level within normal range (< 6nmol/L) on the day of hCG trigger day was divided into 4 quartiles. The four quartiles were defined as ≤ 1.35 nmol/L (Q1), >1.35-1.93 nmol/L (Q2), >1.93-2.7 nmol/L (Q3), >2.7 nmol/L (Q4).
Main results and the role of chance
The baseline characteristics with no different between groups, except BMI. The patients in Q4 group with lowest BMI, significantly higher number of oocytes retrieved and live birth rate (P < 0.05) . The Logistic regression analysis of the relative factors on live birth rate including BMI, basal LH and number of oocytes retrieved [P = 0.003, 0.030, 0.037 respectively, 95%CI (1.022, 1.111), (1.004, 1.076), (1.002, 1.082)].
Limitations, reasons for caution
Due to the retrospective nature of this study, a well-designed and matched large sample prospective study is needed. The definition of elevated P level and the method of hormonal assessments were different between studies, this limiting the comprehensive analysis of researches and the further verification of existing results.
Wider implications of the findings
PCOS patients who with normal range P level on hCG day, got better IVF/ICSI outcomes with “higher” progesterone level (2.7-5.9mmol/L). Weight control is important for PCOS patients accepting IVF treatment.

Abstract
Background Prenatal anxiety is a common concern which may have adverse effects on maternal and infant health outcomes. Studies addressing needs-based education interventions for prenatal anxiety are limited. Aim To explore the effects of needs-based education on alleviating prenatal anxiety among advanced multiparas when compared with routine prenatal health education. Methods A total of 86 advanced multiparas were randomized into the intervention group (n = 43) or the control group (n = 43) in this study. The control group received routine prenatal care. The intervention group received five needs-based education programs presented by trained researchers. The Pregnancy-related Anxiety Questionnaire was used to evaluate changes in anxiety level of participants. Concurrent physiological parameters, including blood pressure, heart rate and non-stress test were also measured. Results Scores on the Pregnancy-related Anxiety Questionnaire of the intervention group were significantly lower than those of the control group (t = 4.21, P < 0.05). Systolic blood pressure (t = 3.64, P < 0.05) and heart rate (t = 2.39, P < 0.05) of the intervention group were also significantly lower than the control group whereas no differences were noted in diastolic blood pressure and non-stress test. Conclusion A needs-based education program is an effective intervention strategy to allay prenatal anxiety in advanced multiparas. Abstract
Reactive astrogliosis is an early event in Alzheimer's disease (AD) brain and plays a key role in synaptic degeneration in AD development. Zinc accumulates in extracellular fraction and synaptosomes in AD human brains with its effect on reactive astrocytes remaining unknown. Through Western blotting, Quantitative polymerase chain reaction (qPCR), and immunofluorescence detection on primary astrocytes treated by zinc and/or zinc chelator, we revealed that zinc induced harmful A1-type reactive astrogliosis in cultured primary astrocytes; the latter, promoted synaptic degeneration in primary neurons. The mechanism investigation showed that zinc induced activation of extracellular regulated protein kinase (ERK) and Janus kinase 2 (JAK2), which phosphorylated signal transduction and transcription activator 3 (Stat3) at serine 727 (S727-Stat3) and tyrosine 705 (Y705-Stat3), respectively, resulting in activation of Stat3. Stat3 phosphorylation at S727 by ERK plays a key role in zinc-induced astrogliosis. These data imply a new molecular mechanism of reactive astrogliosis in AD, in which excessive zinc activates Stat3 through up-regulating ERK signaling pathway.

Abstract
To evaluate the effectiveness of pelvic floor muscle training (PFMT) on perimenopausal women with pelvic floor dysfunction (PFD). A two-group longitudinal experimental design with multiple comparisons. The intervention group (n = 37) received a 3-month intervention combining Kegel and yoga exercise. The control group (n = 37) received Kegel exercise. The combined training alleviated PFD symptoms, improved life quality and increased pelvic floor muscle strength of perimenopausal women. Women with PDF symptoms can integrate PFMT and yoga exercise to promote rehabilitation and improved outcomes. Combined exercise should be taught and practiced under supervision by qualified health professionals.

Abstract
BACKGROUD AND PURPOSE Almost every woman experiences discomforts during pregnancy. This study aimed to evaluate the efficacy of yoga on physiological and psychological discomforts and delivery outcomes in Chinese primiparas. MATERIALS AND METHODS A randomized controlled trial was conducted. Participants in the control group (n = 32) received routine prenatal care, whereas participants in the intervention group (n = 32) received routine prenatal care and yoga exercise three times a week for 12 weeks. Outcomes evaluated included physiological discomforts, prenatal depression, anxiety, childbirth self-efficacy and delivery outcomes. Intention-to-treat analysis was conducted. RESULTS Yoga decreased the symptoms of physiological discomforts during pregnancy (F = 6.966, p = 0.010), promoted childbirth self-efficacy (F = 11.900, p = 0.001), increased the rate of vaginal delivery (χ2 = 4.267, p = 0.039), and shortened the length of the first (t = -2.612, p = 0.012), second (z = -3.313, p = 0.001) and third stages of labor (z = -3.137, p = 0.002). CONCLUSION Yoga offers beneficial effects on physiological discomforts, childbirth self-efficacy and delivery outcomes in Chinese primiparas.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Biomarkers to prognosticate the outcomes and guide the treatment of patients with severe coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) are currently required. We aimed to investigate whether the dynamic variation of cytokines was associated with the survival of patients admitted to the intensive care unit (ICU). METHODS A retrospective study was performed on 40 patients with COVID-19 admitted to the ICU in Wuhan, China. Demographic, clinical, and laboratory variables were collected, and serum cytokines were kinetically assessed. A multivariable-adjusted generalized linear regression model was used to analyze the differences in serum cytokine levels between survivors and non-survivors. RESULTS Among the 40 patients included, we found a positive correlation between multiple cytokines. Serum levels of interleukin (IL)-6, IL-10, and tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNFα) in non-survivors were consistently elevated compared to those in the survivors. Kinetic variations in IL-6, IL-8, and IL-10 were associated with a fatal outcome in patients with severe COVID-19, independent of sex, age, absolute lymphocyte count, direct bilirubin, hypertension, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, and cancer as well as the use of glucocorticoids and tocilizumab. CONCLUSIONS Dynamic changes in serum IL-6, IL-8, and IL-10 levels were associated with survival in patients in the ICU, and could serve as a predictive biomarker to determine the therapeutic options for patients with severe COVID-19.

Abstract
Objective: To explore the self-conscious health status and related influencing factors of greenhouse agricultural workers in Beijing suburb, so as to provide scientific basis for developing strategies to improve and promote the occupational health conditions of those workers. Methods: According to the production characteristics and scale of the main agricultural districts or counties in the suburb of Beijing, 182 agricultural production personnel were randomly selected to investigate the general situation, occupational situation and self-conscious health status during June 2018 to December 2019. The relevant factors which may affect the self-conscious health conditions were also analyzed by statistical methods. Results: The detection or reported rate of self-conscious health problems was 51.6% (94/182) , among which 29.1% (53/182) workers reported musculoskeletal disorder diseases and 21.4% (39/182) workers reported nervous system diseases. And the self-conscious health status of greenhouse agricultural workers were statistically different in household registration, gender, marital status, working years, mixing or spraying pesticides, smoking or eating in the greenhouse (P<0.05) . Moreover, gender, mixing or spraying pesticide, eating and smoking behavior in the workplace all had an impact on the risk of self-conscious health status of greenhouse agricultural workers (P< 0.05) . Specifically, male is the protective factor to reduce the occurrence of self-conscious symptoms of greenhouse agricultural workers (OR=0.447, 95%CI: 0.234~0.852) , while mixing or spraying pesticides and smoking or eating behaviors in the workplace are the risk factors (OR=1.055, 2.524; 95%CI: 0.503~2.210, 1.107~5.755) . Conclusion: Reducing pesticide use from the source thus minimize related exposure opportunities, strengthening occupational health education thus foster good hygienic habits and improve individual protection consciousness are of great significance for the health protection of greenhouse agricultural workers in Beijing suburb.

Abstract
OBJECTIVES This study aimed to investigate the role of endothelin-1 (ET-1), originally known as the potent vasoconstrictor, and its receptors in chondrocyte senescence and osteoarthritis (OA) development. METHOD Temporal changes of ET-1 and its receptors with OA development were characterized in a posttraumatic OA (PTOA) mouse model at time zero, 1-month and 4-month after surgical induction via destabilization of medial meniscus (DMM). A transgenic ET-1 overexpression (TET-1) mouse model was deployed to assess the impact of upregulated ET-1 on chondrocyte senescence and cartilage degradation. Effects of endothelin receptor blockade on chondrocyte senescence and OA development were further examined both in vitro and in vivo. RESULTS Local expression of ET-1 in subchondral bone and synovium upregulated after DMM with an increase of plasma ET-1 level from 3.18 ± 0.21 pg/ml at time zero to 6.47 ± 0.34 pg/ml at 4-month post-surgery. Meanwhile, endothelin type B receptor (ETBR) (53.31 ± 2.42% to 83.8 ± 2.65%) and p16INK4a (10.91 ± 1.07% to 28.2 ± 1.0%) positve chondrocytes accumulated in articular cartilage since 1-month prior to cartilage loss at 4-month post-surgery. Overexpressed ET-1 promoted p16INK4a-positive senescent chondrocytes accumulation and cartilage degradation in TET-1 mice. Selective blockade of ETBR, but not ETAR, lowered the expression of p16INK4a in ET-1 or H2O2-induced chondrocyte senescence model, and mitigated the severity of murine PTOA. Intriguingly, reactive oxygen species (ROS) scavenger, Vitamin C, could rescue ET-1-induced chondrocyte senescence in vitro associated with restoration of mitochondrial dynamics. CONCLUSION ET-1 could induce chondrocytes senescence and cartilage damages via ETBR in PTOA.

Abstract
Hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis (HLH) is a rare and life-threatening syndrome classified into primary HLH and secondary HLH. Secondary HLH is always caused by autoimmune disease, infections, or cancer. The first-line therapy for secondary HLH is the HLH 2004 protocol, including dexamethasone, etoposide, and supportive therapy. However, up to 30% of patients, especially pediatric patients, remain unresponsive to first-line treatment, and the mortality rate reaches 50% in children with HLH. Furthermore, some children who have special conditions, such as an active virus infection, are not suitable for immunosuppressants treatment. Recently, several HLH-promoting cytokines have been identified, including interferon-γ, interleukin-2, and interleukin-6. Janus kinase 1 and 2 control the signaling of many cytokines, notably interferon-γ, interleukin-2, and interleukin-6. Janus kinase 1 and 2 inhibitors, such as ruxolitinib, have been successfully used to treat HLH in mice. Here, we report that a boy, diagnosed with HLH and high titer of hepatitis B virus-DNA copies, improved quickly, and the cytokine storm of HLH was alleviated after receiving ruxolitinib. Five days after ruxolitinib treatment, entecavir was introduced and serum titer results of hepatitis B virus-DNA returned negative. With 3 months of ruxolitinib treatment and following-up 1 year, the boy's situation maintained sustained remission. In this study, it is suggested that ruxolitinib might be a first-line drug, which could alleviate the cytokine storm of HLH. This treatment may be ushering in the age of glucocorticosteroid-free HLH treatment, which is particularly meaningful for children because it avoids the side effects of glucocorticosteroid.

Abstract
Objective To review the research on fear of childbirth, analyze and evaluate the publications by means of bibliometric analysis, and provide suggestions and scopes for future study. Data sources Web of Science, PubMed, Embase and the Cochrane Library databases. Study selection All published articles focusing on the fear of childbirth from inception to February 10, 2020. Data extraction A total of 743 articles were included for final analysis. Bibliographic data were exported from databases and then cleaned manually before using Microsoft Excel and VOSviewer to analyze and visualize the findings. Data synthesis It was found that 743 articles have been cited 31515 times (h-index: 98). The volume of publications increased by 29.3 times in the past two decades. Across the globe, Sweden was the most prolific country having 129 articles (17.4%) with six of its institutions in the top ten most prolific institutions in the world. Fifty-two (7.8%) documents were published in Midwifery journal. The most prolific author was Hildingsson, who published 35 articles (4.7%). “Cesarean section,” “experience,” and “factor” were the words that appeared most frequently in titles and abstracts of studies. “Point prevalence of psychiatric disorders during the second trimester of pregnancy: A population-based study” was the most cited article and received 525 citations. Conclusion There is an increasing interest in the research in fear of childbirth during the past two decades. This study has demonstrated that the Swedish authors have a leading role on this topic. Researchers especially in countries with high birth rates, need to promote research projects in this field as it is an important public health issue.

Abstract
Objective: To evaluate the short-term and long-term efficacy of endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD) in the treatment of early low rectal cancer and precancerous lesions. Methods: Inclusion criteria: (1) Distance from the lower margin of tumor to the anal was ≤ 5 cm. (2) Early low rectal cancers were any size rectal epithelial tumors with infiltration depth limited to the mucosa and submucosa, which were diagnosed by postoperative pathology as high-grade intraepithelial neoplasia or adenocarcinoma of the rectum with infiltration depth of intramucosal or submucosal cancer (M or SM stage). (3) Precancerous lesions included adenoma and low-grade intraepithelial neoplasia of the rectum. (4) Patients received ESD treatment. Patients with tumor invasion depth over submucosa by pathology were excluded. From January 2008 to January 2018, 63 patients meeting the above criteria in Peking University First Hospital were enrolled in this descriptive cohort study. The disease characteristics, clinical manifestations, pathological types, treatment time, hospitalization time, en bloc resection rate (resection of the whole lesion), complete resection rate (both the horizontal and vertical incision margins were negative), postoperative complications and follow-up results were analyzed. Cummulative survival rate was calculated by Kaplan-Meier. Results: The diameter of the lesion was (29.0±23.4) mm and the distance from the lesion to the anus was (2.7±1.8) cm. The median operation time was 45.0 (range, 10.0 to 360.0) minutes, the median hospitalization time was 3.0 (range, 2.0 to 12.0) days, en bloc resection rate was 100%, complete resection rate was 96.8% (61/63), and 1 case (1.6%) had postoperative bleeding. The follow-up rate was 87.3% (55/63) and the median follow-up time was 57.9 (range, 15.6 to 121.1) months. No local recurrence was found during the follow-up period and the 5-year survival rate was 100%. Conclusion: Short- and long-term efficacy of ESD are quite good in the treatment of patients with early low rectal cancer and precancerous lesions.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE To investigate the knowledge and practice of residents about schistosomiasis prevention and control in endemic areas of Jingzhou City, Hubei Province after the disease transmission being controlled, so as to provide the valuable information for formulating an efficient health education and intervention strategy. METHODS The residents were selected by using the cluster sampling method and investigated with questionnaires in Jiangling County and Gong'an County, Jingzhou City, Hubei Province, and the data were analyzed by using the descriptive analysis method, Chi-square tests and logistic regression. RESULTS In a total, 826 available questionnaires were obtained with 100% of valid rate. Among them, 97.0% of the interviewee knew schistosomiasis, and 86.3% knew that the infection happened by contacting water containing cercariae. The residents in elder age (41-84 years) had higher awareness rates than the residents in lower age (6-17 years), about the regions of epidemic area (χ2 = 57.860), infection route of schistosomiasis (χ2 = 87.045), advanced schistosomiasis symptoms (χ2 = 27.268) and Oncomelania hupensis being as intermediate host (χ2 = 55.856) (all P < 0.05) . The males had higher awareness rates of epidemic areas than the females (χ2 = 13.442, P < 0.05) . For personal behavior, 36.6% of the interviewee had experience of contacting lake or pond water many times a day, and 66.5% had the willingness to participate in schistosomiasis health education. CONCLUSIONS In the investigation areas, Jiangling County and Gong'an County, the awareness rates of the residents about schistosomiasis prevention and control are higher, and we should strengthen the health education and behavior intervention, especially in the students of middle and primary schools to help them have the self-protection ability efficiently.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Robotic distal pancreatectomy exhibits short-term benefits over laparoscopic distal pancreatectomy. The use of minimal invasive techniques to carry out distal pancreatosplenectomy (DPS) for pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) remains controversial and has not gained popular acceptance. A comparative study was designed to analyze the short- and mid-term outcomes of robotic DPS (RDPS) versus laparoscopic DPS (LDPS) on patients with PDAC. METHODS The baseline characteristics, perioperative outcomes and survival data among patients who underwent RDPS (n = 35) versus LDPS (n = 35) for PDAC between December 2011 and December 2015 were compared after a 1:1 propensity score matching. RESULTS There were no significant differences in the operative time, blood loss, blood transfusion rate, and morbidity and pancreatic fistula rates between the RDPS and LDPS groups. RDPS significantly reduced the rate of conversion to laparotomy (5.7% vs. 22.9% when compared with LDPS, p = 0.04). There were no significant differences in R0 resection rates, number of harvested lymph nodes, positive to harvested lymph node ratios, and disease-free survival and overall survival rates between the two groups. A Cox proportional hazards analysis showed N1 stage to be significantly associated with worse survival and suggested that chemotherapy might prolong overall survival in these PDAC patients. CONCLUSIONS This single-center study demonstrated that RDPS was safe and efficacious in treatment of PDAC. When compared with LDPS, RDPS was associated with a reduced rate of conversion to open surgery. There were no significantly differences in oncological outcomes and mid-term survival rates between the groups of patients who underwent RDPS or LDPS.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE To investigate the infection status of intestinal nematodes and their risk factors in rural residents of Jiangxia District, Wuhan City, so as to provide the reference for the establishment of targeted prevention and control measures. METHODS According to the requirements of cross-sectional study of the national human key parasitic diseases, the residents in Shanpo Sub-district, Jiangxia District were randomly selected as the objects for the investigation of the infection status of Ascaris lumbricoides, hookworm and Trichuris trichiura. A questionnaire survey was performed simultaneously. RESULTS Totally 236 residents received the stool tests, and only the hookworm eggs were found, with an infection rate of 7.63% (18 cases). The survey of intestinal parasitic infection status and their risk factors in 600 residents found 397 cases of suspected roundworm infection, 355 cases of suspected hookworm larvae dermatitis, 295 cases of suspected hookworm infection, and 145 cases of suspected whipworm infection, respectively. The Logistic regression analysis found that the risk factors of suspected roundworm infection included not always washing hands after toilet, using manure and fertilizer, and not often wearing shoes when doing farm work; the protective factors included knowing how roundworm infection was gained, and not using fresh dung for fertilization. The risk factors of suspected hookworm infection included using well water and pond water as the source of drinking water, eating food off the ground, using manure and fertilizers, and not washing when there was only one cutting board, and its protective factors included using tap water and well water as drinking water source, knowing how the roundworm infection was gained, and sometimes or not suing fresh feces for fertilization. The risk factors for suspected whipworm infection included eating food off the ground. CONCLUSIONS The intestinal parasite prevalence in the residents of the Shanpo Sub-district, Jiangxia District in Wuhan City is relatively high, and some risk factors associated with their infection indeed exist. Therefore, the regional government and health department should strengthen the health education to improve the residents' knowledge about parasitic diseases and selfprotection awareness. At the same time, the residents should take physical examination regularly and take necessary deworming treatment to effectively control the prevalence and spread of intestinal parasitic diseases.

Abstract
The International Summit on Laparoscopic Pancreatic Resection (ISLPR) was held in Coimbatore, India, on 7th and 8th of October 2016 and thirty international experts who regularly perform laparoscopic pancreatic resections participated in ISPLR from four continents, i.e., South and North America, Europe and Asia. Prior to ISLPR, the first conversation among the experts was made online on August 26th, 2016 and the structures of ISPLR were developed. The aims of ISPLR were; i) to identify indications and optimal case selection criteria for minimally invasive pancreatic resection (MIPR) in the setting of both benign and malignant diseases; ii) standardization of techniques to increase the safety of MIPR; iii) identification of common problems faced during MIPR and developing associated management strategies; iv) development of clinical protocols to allow early identification of complications and develop the accompanying management plan to minimize morbidity and mortality. As a process for interactive discussion, the experts were requested to complete an online questionnaire consisting of 65 questions about the various technical aspects of laparoscopic pancreatic resections. Two further web-based meetings were conducted prior to ISPLR. Through further discussion during ISPLR, we have created productive statements regarding the topics of Disease, Implementation, Patients, Techniques, and Instrumentations (DIPTI) and hereby publish them as "Coimbatore Summit Statements".

Abstract
Transmembrane proteins are delivered to plasma membrane from the endoplasmic reticulum and Golgi complex by vesicular transport along with the cytoskeletal network. Disruption of this process likely affects transmembrane protein expression. K562 cells were digested with Streptomyces griseus protease for different periods of time, and then re-cultured with different cytoskeletal and glycosylation inhibitors. Cell viability and surface expression of transferrin receptor (CD71) and glycophorin A (GPA) were analyzed before and after re-culture by flow cytometry. We found that digestion with protease almost completely removed extracellular CD71 and GPA but their expression recovered to the initial levels after re-culture for 8 h and 24 h, respectively. The microtubule depolymerizer colchicine promoted cell surface recovery of CD71 but inhibited that of GPA; the microtubule stabilizer paclitaxel inhibited cell surface recovery of CD71 but promoted that of GPA; the microfilament depolymerizer cytochalasin D had no effect on cell surface recovery of CD71 and GPA; the microfilament stabilizer phalloidin inhibited cell surface recovery of GPA. The glycosylation inhibitor tunicamycin inhibited the recovery of both CD71 and GPA, and BADGP inhibited the recovery of GPA. These studies show differential sensitivities of surface proteins on K562 cells to proteases, and suggest molecular mechanisms of transmembrane protein transport and cycling.

Abstract
Wearing lead X-ray-protective aprons is a routine in nuclear medicine department in parts of China. However, the staff are often perplexed by questions such as if it is imperative to wear aprons when injecting radioactive drugs, how much radiation dosage can be shielded and if the apron will produce secondary radiation instead? To answer these questions, a semiconductor detector was employed to record different gamma and X-ray spectra with and without the lead apron or lead sheet. Then, we could estimate the signal shielding ratio to different photons for the lead apron and compare with the hospitals measured data. In general, the two results coincided well. The spectral results showed that the detrimental secondary X-rays irradiation rises when the energy of gamma rays exceeds the K absorption edge of lead (88 keV). Moreover, the aprons are not so effective for gamma rays of 364 keV emitted from 131I and 511 keV emitted from the positron radioactive nuclides. This work is purely a physical measurement in the laboratory. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first quantitative study on the level of gamma rays protection offered by the medical lead aprons and the importance of the spectroscopic measurements is discussed in this paper.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of resveratrol on the idiopathic bleomycin (BLM)-induced pulmonary fibrosis, which is increasingly recognized as an epithelial-to-mesenchymal transition (EMT)-associated disease. MATERIALS AND METHODS We evaluated the effect of resveratrol on the BLM-induced fibrosis in a mouse model, via monitoring the pathological chance in mice lung, the mice body weight change and the mice death. And we also explored the regulation by BLM on (and) resveratrol on the expression and activity of Sirt 1 and on the expression of epithelial-to-mesenchymal transition (EMT)-associated markers in mice lung. RESULTS It was demonstrated that resveratrol ameliorated the BLM-induced fibrosis-like pathological change in mice lung, inhibited BLM-induced mice body weight loss and death. Moreover, resveratrol also inhibited the BLM-induced EMT-associated molecular events, such as reduced E-cadherin and elevated Collagen I and α-SMA. We also confirmed the amelioration by resveratrol on the BLM-mediated inhibition of Sirt 1 in expression and activity in mice lung. CONCLUSIONS Our study confirmed the inhibitory role of resveratrol in the BLM-induced pulmonary fibrosis in a mouse model. Resveratrol ameliorated the BLM-induced pathological change of fibrosis, mice body weight loss and death. And such amelioration might be associated with the activation of Sirt 1 in mice lung. The present study implied that resveratrol might be a promising agent for effective control the pulmonary fibrosis.

Abstract
We report a new stripe rust resistance gene on chromosome 7AS in wheat and molecular markers useful for transferring it to other wheat genotypes. Several new races of the stripe rust pathogen have established throughout the wheat growing regions of China in recent years. These new races are virulent to most of the designated seedling resistance genes limiting the resistance sources. It is necessary to identify new genes for diversification and for pyramiding different resistance genes in order to achieve more durable resistance. We report here the identification of a new resistance gene, designated as Yr61, in Chinese wheat cultivar Pindong 34. A mapping population of 208 F2 plants and 128 derived F2:3 lines in a cross between Mingxian 169 and Pindong 34 was evaluated for seedling stripe rust response. A genetic map consisting of eight resistance gene analog polymorphism (RGAP), two sequence-tagged site (STS) and four simple sequence repeat (SSR) markers was constructed. Yr61 was located on the short arm of chromosome 7A and flanked by RGAP markers Xwgp5467 and Xwgp5765 about 1.9 and 3.9 cM in distance, which were successfully converted into STS markers STS5467 and STS5765b, respectively. The flanking STS markers could be used for marker-assisted selection of Yr61 in breeding programs.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE To explore the changes of the biological function of dermal fibroblasts (FBs) in the wounds of diabetic and non-diabetic burned rats and the pathogenesis of impaired wound healing in diabetes. METHODS 80 Sprague-Dawley (SD) rats weighing 220 g were randomly divided into control and STZ-induced diabetic groups, and then deep partial thickness scald involving 10% TBSA was reproduced in the two groups. The diabetic groups were randomized into pre-scalding, post-scalding day (PSD 3), PSD 7, PSD 14 and PSD 21 groups, with 6 rats in each group. Controls were also randomized into 5 groups. Skin specimens from the wound were harvested at each time point. Cell cycles of FBs were analyzed with flow cytometry. The amount of hydroxyproline in the skin tissue was assessed on 0, 3, 7, 14, and PSD 21. The type I and III collagens were determined by ELISA. The expression of alpha-SMA in the dermal fibroblasts of each group was assessed by immunohistochemistry method. Transmission electron microscopy was used to observe the ultrastructure changes of FBs. RESULTS Compared with that in the normal rats, the percentage of the cells in G(0)/G(1) phase in the DM group was evidently lower on PSD 0 (65.79 +/- 5.24 vs 82.43 +/- 9.68, P < 0.01). After the scalding, the percentage of the cells in G(0)/G(1) phase in DM group was significantly higher (70.00 +/- 4.27 vs 42.04 +/- 12.96, on PSD 3, P < 0.01), meanwhile the percentage of S phase was remarkably lower than those in C group on 3, 7, 14, 21PSD (P < 0.05, P < 0.01). The amount of hydroxyproline in the diabetic skin tissue was obviously lower than those of the responding control groups before (0.72 +/- 0.06 vs 1.42 +/- 0.28, P < 0.01) and after burn injury (P < 0.01). Furthermore, the rate of I/III collagen on 7, 14 and PSD 21 was much higher in DM group than that in C group (P < 0.01). The expression of alpha-SMA in DM groups on PSDS 3, 7, 14 and PSD 21 was evidently lower than those of the controls (levels 10.28 +/- 3.99, C group 28.42 +/- 2.73, on PSD 14, P < 0.01), although that inclined to be heightened after burn injury. Ultrastructure changes of FBs in the wounds of diabetic rats could be observed, such as the outstretched endoplasmic reticulum, un development of Golgi's body, lackness of microtubule and microfilament, a sharp increase of cytolysosomes, and so on. CONCLUSION The FB proliferation in the diabetic skin is abnormal, the synthetical ability of collagen is weakened, the expression of alpha-SMA is insufficient, the microtubule and microfilament is lack, and the number of cytolysosomes increases. The pathogenesis of impaired-wound healing in diabetics might be related with the above mentioned factors.

Abstract
This paper aims to produce alginate-(poly-l-lysine)- alginate(APA) microcapsules of MSCs(mesenchymal stem cell), and to investigate the influencing factors of cell microcapsules' formation. Bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells were enclosed within APA microcapsules by a high-voltage electrostatic microcapsules generator. The factors influencing the uniformity, integrity and the ratio of successful microcapsules were investigated. It showed that the cell density, the concentration of alginate solution and the purity of cell solution have a significant effect on the formation of microcapsules. When the cell density is 3×106/ml, alginate concentration is 1.75%, centrifugal times is twice, perfect microcapsules with good sphericity, uniformity, and the diameter at 200 to 300μm could be made.
