Abstract
The health service, which came into effect in September 2018, concerns all health-care students. Nursing students were among the first to get involved in nursing fields in a variety of settings where the population could get involved in raising awareness of healthy behaviours. A group of nursing students from a school in Île-de-France attests to their involvement in this innovation.

Abstract
Inequalities in health stem from social mechanisms which for the most part operate outside the health care sector. By being aware of these inequalities and understanding them from the perspective of a gradient of resources, health professionals can intervene to improve equality in this field.

Abstract
Health is dependent on the living conditions and the socioeconomic environment of populations. The healthcare system tends to underestimate these aspects and thereby maintain, and even aggravate, the resulting social inequalities in health. It is essential that this situation is improved by adopting a global and interdisciplinary vision of healthcare and its social determinants.

Abstract
A study was carried out of patients with type 2 diabetes following a hospital therapeutic education programme. The results show that the transfer of self-management and adaptation competencies must take into consideration patients' social differentiation. They bring into question the assumption of the individual's autonomy. In this context, the professional position of the caregivers is essential in order to provide patients with the best support possible.

Abstract
The first phase of interventional research in the health of populations is the development of its conceptual basis. Programme logic models are used to describe the way in which the results should be generated. The programme theory is used to develop intermediary objectives and to increase the chances of success of public health actions. This approach requires the coproduction of knowledge between researchers and partners. The teams can benefit from the application of evaluation to the theory in order to clarify the results obtained.
